Realistic or Modern Small Town Girls and City Boys

Serenity walked in slowly, looking around at everything. She gave a small sigh before looking at her sister. As usual Serenity's thumbs we're tucked in her pockets and she walked around slowly but with long steps. "So... what do ya think about living with some rowdy guys this summer?" She asked Ophelia, though her eyes wandered to her surroundings.

She already had a nice impression of Hudson who talked good things about her beloved country. But Makism she'd already learned to dislike. But, though she did plan on introducing herself when they got back, she didn't plan on getting all too friendly so she kept her feelings about the two to herself.

((Anyone who is in the area really.))
((That would be me! William is at the picnic table grabbing refreshments. @jewelboy))

William was lost in savoring the taste of the cookies that he choked a bit when he heard a voice behind him. He turned to look back and found Kevin. "Oh hey man. Didn't hear you coming," William coughed. He cleared his throat then answered Kevin, " Our temporary rooms? To tell you the truth I don't know. Don't remember." William looked around to see if any of the Delwoods were around. But he found no one.

"Um first you want some refreshments then we can go find our temporary rooms?" William offered raising up a cookie.

Ophelia looked at her sister as she grabbed some things. "I don't know not sure. I think definitely a bit of excitement is needed around the house."She says.

She thought Makism was good looking and a bit of a bad boy. She liked that, but she wouldn't show it.

Avery got back to the farm within 5 minutes and parked her dirt bike in the small shed they kept the atvs in.

She decided it'd be good if she checked in with the boys, so she made her way tonthe picnic table where she heard two of them discussing where their temporary homes are and she smiled, "well theyre in the barn in the back. I can show you there, and get you some bedding. All y'all have to share the hay loft, but there's dressers for each of ya. And theres even a bathroom with a shower up there! Follow me." She motioned for the guys to follow. ((@jewelboy and @LifeNovel

Hudson couldnt get her mind off the Serenity girl. She was gorgeous out of all the girls.

He sighed, sitting under one of the bushes hiding from the hot sun, that seemed to be 10x hotter than it was in the city.

Hudsons attention went to William and Kevin who were talking about where they were staying and how Avery was going to show them where. So he stood, picked up his duffel bag and slowly followdd the three to where his temporary home is.

Kevin blinked at William and looked at the cookie. He chuckled, "Alright." and grabbed the cookie. Unlike Mak, Kevin thought William was chill, definitely not as obnoxious. "So, you looking for..." Kevin started but was interrupted by Avery as walked up to the guys.

"Well, they're in the barn in the back. I can show you there, and get you some bedding. All y'all have to share the hay loft, but there's dressers for each of ya. And there's even a bathroom with a shower up there! Follow me." she said as she gestured.

Kevin swallowed down his cookie and grinned, "Thanks....Avery, right?"

William's heart stammered a bit when one of the Delwood girls approached him. What is this feeling? I feel light in my heart. He once again was choking on a cookie piece. William didn't want to look like fool in front of her so he silently coughed up the piece, swallowing it back down right after. He cleared his throat by sipping down the rest of the lemonade of his cup and stood up.

"Uh-hum please lead the way Miss Delwood," William politely asked. He bent down and grabbed a backpack and a duffel bag slinging on one strap of the backpack and carrying the duffel on the same shoulder.

Avery giggled a little bit at Williams clumsyness, "Don't call me miss Delwood, its Avery." She winked and turned around, leading the three to the barn.

When they get there, Avery climbs up a rickety set of stairs and walks over to a small closet where blankets, pillows, towles and soaps/shampoos are held. She picks out three blankets and pillows for the boys and says, "pick any bed ya want. Ill make em for you." She says sweetly. "Oh, and if you need shampoo or soap theres some in the closet.

The "bedroom" consisted of 5 twin beds with homemade looking headboards that the matress' lay on, wooden dressers sitting st the end of each bed, 4 night stands between each bed with a lamp on them. A room in the corner that is the bathroom. And the huge "window" which is actually the door for the hay to be pushed out of.

"Oh and tell your very rude friend that he might as well not even try to get out of here at night because daddy is lockin up the bsrn doors downstairs at curfew, there are no ladders to escape with from the hay doors and daddy has set up an alarm system that screeches when you step past it attached to the hay doors, domt tell your friend that. And its a 10 foot drop anyway." She smiled and waited for the boys ti pick their beds. "Oh by the way, my daddy was in the military and has a lisence to use his gun, you can tell your friend that." She giggled a bit.

Hudson was kimd of scared of the Delwood dad. He seemed strict, but he's also ex military. Hudson sighed and picked the bed closest to the hay door. He liked the farm fresh air so it seemed like a good option. He stood aside and unpacked while Avery made his bed.

"Thanks for the warning." Kevin said with a slight strain in his voice. He already knew not to mess the girls, and he had to no plans to, especially after hearing about that dad. Besides, out of the girls he had seen, none of them appealed to him anyway. Again, he just wanted to get this summer over with and get back to his shop.

He walked to the furthest bed and looked back at Avery. "This will do nicely. We appreciate your kindness. Right guys?" He looked back at Hudson and William who were both obviously daydreaming. Kevin just sighed, "Nevermind."

He threw his stuff on the ground and fell back on his bed. He let out a sigh of relief, "Man, this is surprisingly comfy." he thought to himself thinking he could just fall asleep, but he doubted that the dad would like for them to sleep on their first day.

William enjoyed the tiny stroll they took to arrive at the barn. The smell of hay somewhat comforted him since he was born in a barn but was then raised in the city. He pushed the strap of the backpack up onto his shoulder as it slid down.

He looked around inside the barn admiring it's beauty to it, even though awful odors were entering his nose. William kept glancing back at Avery though whenever she talked. He felt something each time he looked at her. William didn't want to make her uncomfortable so he would glance away for a few minutes looking as if he was checking out the barn but from the corner of his eye he was capturing the tiny details of her.

William stood back a bit waiting for the other guys to select their sleeping spots. He didn't mind the threats that lingered over them since his dad was in the military.

"I don't mind taking the bed in the middle," William stated. He walked over to the bed in the middle placing his belongings on the floor and heading towards where the blanket and pillows were not wanting Avery to fix the bed for him.

Avery smiled at William "oh take these ones then" she set a pillow and a blanket on his bed then walked over to Kevin and sat a pillow and blanket on his dresser, "oh! Theres a phone you can call the house with if you need anything. Im going to be riding my horse for a little while. You can sleepmif y'all want." She smiled once more at William and climbed down the stairs and into one of the horse stalls where she saddled up and went out for a ride.

Alice

The girl had just arrived home from disappearing early morning to go and take photographs of nature. As she wandered around the farm she heard voices come from within the barn and decided to see if her sisters were there. She peeked inside the barn allowing only her bright blue eyes to show from behind the entrance of the barn. She saw that her sister disappeared upstairs before heading back down the stairs and mounting up her horse. The girl was about to call out to her sister but it was no use her older sibiling had already rode out the barn. Alice sighed and walked upstairs. She quietly called out to the two boys,

"Um hello. Are you both company of my sister?"

She asked sounding as proper as she could while her southern accent hinted in her voice.

Kevin peeked out from his eyelid to see if Avery was still in the room. He noticed that she and sat up. "I've never seen you so star struck, Will." He joked, "I mean since when do you EVER call someone Miss?" Kevin couldn't help but chuckle at that.

He glanced over at Hudson, "And you have been dreamy-eyed ever since you looked over at...what was her name...Serenity?" He got to his feet and leaned against the wall. "Seems like the both of you as well as Mak have a little thing for some Delwood girls." He smirked and stared down the two boys.

Just then he heard the voice of a girl coming from the door. "Um hello. Are you company of my sister?" Kevin glanced over to the other side of the room and saw some eyes peeking in. He bit his lip hoping she didn't hear him say anything about his friends.

"Well, you could sort of say that. More like company of your dads."

William smiled back at Avery but then didn't realize he was still smiling after she left. He glanced quickly to see if the other guys saw him quickly changing his smile into a forceful frown to hopefully hide it. William then heard Kevin say something. He turned to face Kevin trying to defend himself but then he was interrupted once more when a voice sounded from the entrance. William changed his focus to the front and saw another Delwood girl. He heard Kevin respond to her question.

William let Kevin talk to the girl while he unpacked. He lifted up his bag onto the bed and opened it up. William picked up the first thing on top, a picture frame that contained a photo of his family. He grazed his finger on the woman in the photo, his mom. William sighed as he remembered how she passed a long time ago, when he was 12. His father and aunt then took responsibility of him, But he became trouble, not rowdy trouble just procrastinating trouble.

William decided to continue on through his belongings before he began reminiscing anymore. He placed the picture on the nightstand next to him and rummaged into his belongings. William found his cap and placed the rest of his bags down. "Hey guys, I'm going to go explore some more before it gets dark. Be back soon," William called out as he exited the barn.

"Oh, so all of you are the boys that daddy said was coming."

She stated thinking back on what her father discussed with her and her sisters prior to the boys presence. She waves goodbye to the boy that decided to leave and stated to the two others,

"I'm Alice. If anyone needs anything please don't hesitate to ask anyone of the members of my family. Oh and beware of daddy, if he catches any of you flirting with one of my sisters...let's just say things won't be pretty."

She warned before waving goodbye and disappearing downstairs as well. When she was outside the barn her mind freed it's self as she began to daydream about a day she could share how she sees the world through her lens as her feet took her to wherever they could.

Kevin watch Will leave and said, "Thanks, Alice. I know not to flirt with any of you girls. I'll be sure make sure we ALL know that." Kevin said emphasizing the all hoping Hudson would get the idea and maybe Will would hear him even though he left.

Alice left the room and Kevin said, "See, you don't see me getting crazy over some girl."

He went over to his bed and decided that it was his time to unpack. He pulled out his Bible and set it on the nightstand making sure it was in a safe place since that was his lifeline. He smiled as he remembered a couple of verses from the book. Kevin also pulled out a notebook with the word: "Lyrics" on the cover and set that in the drawer. He organized his clothes and was quickly settled in.

Kevin flopped onto the bed and placed his hands behind his head, "This summer won't be too bad." He sighed a small sigh, "I'll a least get a chuckle out of you, Mak, and Will chasing these girls. When did Issac and I become the normal ones." He chuckled, "Though Alice there might sweep him into la-la land as well."

Kevin turned to his side and sat in a quiet moment for a second. Then said gently, "But all joking aside, if any of you do decide to try to win over any of girls hearts, I do wish you all luck." He wasn't even sure if Hudson was listening to him or not. "You're all my friends and I'd like to see you all be happy."

Kevin closed his eyes and just decided to relax for now.

"Suppose so..." She said, finally making her decision on what she wanted and grabbing a few items of different variety. "It'll certainly be interesting. I'm gonna go say hi to 'em before they start working when we get back." Serenity announced to her sister, pausing only a second before asking, "Do you want to too?" She was now finished shopping and walked slowly behind Ophelia. Though Serenity did plan on giving a hi to a certain one first she left out that information.

Ophelia paid for it all and thanked the store owner. "Sure why not."Ophelia says. She packs the bags in her saddle bag and hopped up on her horse"ready to go? "She asks

Irish Ice Queen

After repeating her usual action of swinging one foot into the foothold and pushing the rest of her weight in a jump over the horse she immediately began going full speed, "I'll race ya there!" She challenged Ophelia, her eyes sparkling at her in mild excitement before turning back to the sprawling countryside ahead of her. Her blonde hair was furiously whipping in the wind as it always did when she went fast. Though, her hair never got messy from riding anymore. It simply got bigger in volume and as long as it had been in no style it hung naturally.

Ophelia laughs and shakes her head. She got Thair into a trot then gallop. Him being a barrel racing horse, it was easy to out run her sister. Ophelia slowed as they reached the house. She was laughing."goid boy Thair. " She said. Her was a bit wind blown, but she didn't care. She loved it.

Later on at supper time.

Avery brings out two trays of food; chicken, corn and peas mixed, mashed potatoes and gravy, and 5 but also a pitcher of water. (She pretended to be a waitress as a kid so shes pretty great at carrying big trays with lots of food)

"Daddy said y'all can have a beer if you like. But I wasnt sure if some of you would like beer at all so I brought water. Here y'all go!" She smiled and carefully set the foods on the picnic table.

That nice was a clear beautiful night where the stars are shining bright and the fairy lights glow perfectly, resting on the bush. The colourful party lanterns swing gently in the wind.

Avery smiles st the boys, we're eating supper on the porch tonight so if y'all have any requests or want dessert then just come tell us. " when she pulled her arms back, her right arm gently brushed against Williams.

Avery blushed a bright red and quickly walked away, joining her sisters at the porch table.

Serenity was laughing as well and pretty heartily. She was a rather easygoing so win or loose, it was all fine with her. Her horse was just as easy going, being a horse that wasn't bred for anything in particular. She grabbed a apple from a nearby bin, holding the fruit out to her horse for a second to let the creature eat a snack and give a soft neigh in response.

"Good race good race."

She tucked her thumbs into her pockets and begun a slow tread towards the boys picnic table. Slowly so Ophelia could follow, but mostly because she was always in a slow pace. She liked to take in everything. She soon arrived there, the walk Not to far. "Hey y'all. I'm Serenity." She flashed smile in none of the boys directions. Just in general.

"Just wanted to come say hi so you guys weren't living with complete strangers. If any of y'all are ever hungry and a meal or refreshments isn't being served yet I can cook just 'bout anything. But my Apple pie is the best. And if y'all are ever bored I or someone else can probably take you into town if you can saddle up." She said, looking over at Hudson directly for only a second before looking behind her shoulder for Ophelia.
