Time of Day: Afternoon
Season: Beginning of Fall
Flaming Spark:
She lets out a yawn what was probably for the third time today. She lets out a sigh and wished that she wasn't so tired for once. She wasn't sure why but lately she hasn't been sleeping well. She has been having some strange dreams, they weren't scary, they were just weird and creepy; and she had no clue what they meant. She really should confirm her dreams with Ice Crystal, but she didn't want to disturb her. She seemed to be too busy all the time, with some project--though Flaming Spark stayed away from it, and it made her dreams seem all the more strange. Maybe she was just worried about her pack, if and how it would grow. If she had the same type of dreams tonight, then she would confirm with Ice Crystal. For now she would continue to overlook the pack, looking over the ground below, on her Alpha Rock.
Fallen Night:
He sniffs at the bush that was next to him and breathes in the fresh forest air. It was close. He wasn't in the pack clearing but instead in the surrounding forests around them. He was off on hunting duty and right now he was tracking down a rabbit. Underneath the bush he could smell and it only took a few more moments to spot the rabbit droppings. He lets out a growl, flattens his ears, and lowers his body to the ground--going into a stalking position. He continued to walk more in the direction that he was going and then stops again when the scent of the rabbit smelled fresher. He crouches down lower but not too low so his belly fur doesn't brush against the ground. He flicks his eyes closely from spot to spot and lets his nose do the tracking. Finally, he spots the rabbit. Checking his position, he makes sure he was downwind of it. He creeps closer and closer to the rabbit and just before he pounces the rabbit senses him and runs away.
Shanelle:
She was watching and following Fallen Night from behind. She decided to stalk him like he was stalking the rabbit. She knew that he was stalking the rabbit because she could smell the rabbit just as well as he could. The only thing he couldn't smell was her. She decided to roll into the earth a bit to mask up her scent and besides, she was downwind of him anyway. She had to restrain herself from letting out a little giggle when he didn't notice that Shanelle was following him the whole time. Usually, she couldn't track him for this long and he would have figured out already. Yet perhaps he was too busy hunting to notice her for once. After all, any other time she stalked him, he wasn't hunting--well, most time. Then she realizes where he was going and guessed where the rabbit would be too. With a slight huff of determination she stopped stalking Fallen Night and decides to go around, to the opposite side of where the rabbit would be. Fallen Night would be too angry at her if he figured out Shanelle was stalking him, especially if he lost his prey. And she timed it just right, when the rabbit started running, she was on the other side of a bush and decides to spring out now; pouncing and killing on the rabbit. She looks up at Fallen Night, smiles at him, and this time lets out a girlish giggle when he saw her.
Ice Crystal:
She was collecting herbs as usual, nothing seemed to be out of place this time. Yet, truly, she really wasn't just collecting herbs. It was more for her project. She lets out a sigh and felt guilty. She really should tell her Flaming Spark about her project, but she wasn't sure that it would work; and didn't want to be shown up in failure in front of her leader. She twitches her ears slightly in more discomfort. How would she even be sure it would work or not? It's not like she would test it out on any fox or any other animal either. Yet she was too afraid to use it if she didn't know if it worked or not. She grabs the last herb in the area that she could carry in her mouth and then picks up the rest of her herbs that she had set aside and finally went back to her den. She sets her herbs down and puts the herbs in the regular piles. She sniffs the biggest pile that was separated and far apart from the rest of the herbs this was her project that she was working on. It wasn't much of a project, but something that could help the pack, no matter. She sniffs it again and twitches her ears in frustration again. How could she tell if it was ready or not? If it had too much or too little of something? She just didn't know and had to find out, but was too scared to find out. What if everything went wrong? Trying to think, she decides to mix it a bit more. But she couldn't mix it with her own paws or mouth, it could contaminate her project. So instead she picks up a stick with her mouth, a stick that was rid of bark and was clean as can be, she uses that to mix it.
Shading Ashes:
He was laying down in his nest. The whole den was actually the Hunters' and the Fighters' den. All of them shared the same den. The only Hunter and Fighter that didn't share the same den was the Lead Hunter and the Lead Fighter. However, just because you shared the same den, at least, each fox had their own nest. Unless they decided to share it with someone; and so far, no one did share a nest--he especially didn't share a nest and wasn't going too. The only really available female was Shanelle, she was quite cute and flirty, but she had all of her eyes on Fallen Night. He didn't have any chance with his leader, he wasn't worthy enough; and Ice Crystal never seemed interested in any mate. She was too busy healing the sick and the hurt to worry about a mate--which, in a way, he could somewhat understand--even though he knew nothing about healing. Even though he didn't necessarily didn't want a mate, he still wished he had someone to talk too. Maybe he should of joined Fallen Night on a hunting trip, but Shading Ashes was still somewhat new to the pack and he felt awkward around him. Besides, he could tell that Fallen Night hated newcomers and until somebody new came, he was stuck as the labeled and titled as the only newcomer.
