Erin blushed harder and rubbed her arm adorably (without knowing), "t-thank you Emma. You're a beautiful woman. Destiny was kind to you, b-both in mind and body."

Emma smiled at Erin "It was kind to us both. I'm really glad I didn't decide to just eat you when we met. Even if, you know..." She said, looking down at her legs "This happened..."

She scooted closer and gently began to lean against Emma to give her comfort. She awkwardly gripped her hand gently and stoked the thumb.

Emma looked back up at Erin sadly "I still don't know what I'm going to do... I'm just... All of a sudden, I'm not me anymore, that's what this feels like... It feels like I'm a completely different person."

Erin nodded and kept stroking her thumb, trying to keep her calm. She whispered and coed, trying to keep the former Lamia calm. She had no clue what to say.

Erin's efforts seemed to work for now, as Emma leaned up against her for comfort "And I'm sure you have your own reservations about this as well... But at least we still have each other, to help each other pull through this, right?"

She nodded gently and kissed her cheek, "were here for each other." Thinking, she began to weigh their options, "we could stay here... but the fact we were found is a sign we... I don't know."

"If you can figure out a way for us to stay here in the cave, I'm all ears..." Emma replied, smiling a little.

She thought about it and began to try and piece something together. She looked down, "do you possibly know anyone who can use magic?"

Emma shook her head "No, I don't. I don't know a whole lot of people in this forest to begin with, and I'm pretty sure neither of the people I do know can cast magic."

 

[BeyondOblivion]

"Shoot." Erin sighed, "We could risk it and stay here, my only fear is if we are found and they decide to..." She gulped nervously and looked inot Emma's eyes.

"Well, we're a Lamia and a Human." Emma said, looking down at herself "...Well, former Lamia, anyway. It would really depend on how many people find us."

 

[BeyondOblivion]

She looked around, "that's another thing. The area that I lived on was actually quite large. It's part of the largest fief in the land, if they find us they could send hundreds after us."

"Hmm..." Emma replied, thinking. This was a tough situation "Well... If anyone finds us, odds are they won't recognize us as the ruler's son and the Lamia he was supposed to kill, for several reasons. Maybe we could convince them we're different people, who found this cave and decided to live in it since it was already furnished and everything?"

She nodded and thought even more, "We need to also clean this place up even more, open the front up and make it look much more civilized. We might even need to get some other thigns done. We'll need more furnature."

Emma nodded in agreement and stood up "Right. We should get to work right away, then, just in case." She said, feeling a bit more confident now that they had a plan in place.

She stood up, only to see something, "do you still have your old strength? I-I don't have as much as I used to."

"Most of my strength was in my tail. I honestly don't know how that translates into Human form, or even if it can. As far as I can tell, I'm just a regular Human, just like you." Emma told her.

She sighed with her, not sure what to say or even do at this point. She groaned, "Damn it."

"What's wrong?" Emma asked, wondering where all of the confidence Erin should've gained by putting a plan together went.

Erin looked around, "Nevermind, it's nothing wrong." She sighed, thinking around and finally figureing out what it was.

"Well... Alright, let's get to work making this place look more civilized, then." Emma said "I'll let you take charge on this, since you probably have a much better grasp on the concept than I do. Just tell me what you need me to get done."

 

[BeyondOblivion]

Erin thought, "brush. The bushes need to go. All of them. The front needs to be flat and open. The interior is fine. We could also build a small fake house around the entrance so it looks like a home. We also need to fall some trees."

Emma nodded "Okay, let's get started." She replied, almost tripping over herself as she ran outside to start taking care of the foliage in front of the cave.

Erin looked deliberately to the walls and began to think, trying to imagine what to say to her when she got back.
