Slippery Scales of Decipet

Emma reached her arm after her "H-hey, Erin!" She called, though she didn't get up and chase after her. She sighed and fell back down onto her back.

Yep. Everything was completely screwed up.

Erin hid outside the cave in a tree, not sure what to do and scared. She whimepred, not feeling worthy to go back and face her after what she'd done.

Eventually, Emma willed herself to stand up and walk outside. She wasn't really sure why, though, she was sure Erin was long gone by this point.

Erin groaned and she was actually in a tree neraby. She looked down and saw Emma, gasping and scrmabling. When that happened, Emma was able to hear her.

Emma looked up at the tree to see Erin "...What are you doing?" She asked, in the classic 'Talking to the crazy guy' tone of voice.

Erin looked down and she sighed a little bit, "What do you want? I'm just going to start fuckign things up again, aren't I?" She coudlnt' ehlp but let the word slip.

"The only thing you screwed up was running away after having that all said and done." Emma told her "Whether the mistake was that you didn't run far enough, or ran away in the first place, I'm still trying to remember, but I'm sure it had something to do with you running."

"You're being awfully hard on yourself all of a sudden, aren't you?" Emma asked "I can't remember a thing you've screwed up, personally."

"Do you really need met to go through all of the situations right now?" Erin sighed, whimpering a little bit nad scared to do anything.

"Look, Erin, just come down from there and come back inside." Emma told her "I thought you didn't want to be known as a coward anymore?"

Erin looked down and suddenly she siezed up, "D-Don't you ever call me a coward!" She spat, instanly sliding down and storming up to her.

"Then stop acting like one." Emma replied, calmly. She knew she'd struck a chord with her statement, but at least Erin was out of the tree. She wanted to make a point as well - Why be something if you don't want to be seen as that something?

Erin stared into her eyes and growled, "What are you going to do now that you have me back out of the tree?" She hissed, upset and not willing to do much.

"Head back inside and wait for you. At that point, you can do one of two things. You can come back inside, and we can talk about this. Or you can leave and never come back, continuing to run away from your problems and worries for the rest of your life or until someone else comes along and beats some sense into you." Emma told her, before turning around and walking back into the cave, sitting down on the bed.

Giving a large hiss, she slowly made her way back into the cave and sat down, feeling her body begin to heat up fro mthe pain that she'd now been opened to again.

Emma stayed silent until Erin sat down next to her "Are you okay?" She asked, mostly worried she might've gone too far earlier.

Erin groaned, "I'm fine right now. I'm just tired of being called a fucking coward." She hissed violently, growling and about ready to punch something.

"I know. And I haven't called you that up until now. The thing is, people generally refer to other people as what they are." Emma told him "If you run and hide from your problems, people will see you as a coward, and call you as such."

Erin sat down and she groaned, "alright, well at least now I'm a woman." She laughed bitterly, "at least now I can say I'm not a man."

Emma blinked and, after a moment, started laughing as well "That's true. At least you don't have to conform to those standards of masculinity you've been forced to adhere to all your life."

She sighed and nodded, "look... I'm sorry about earlier." She held her head, "you're just beautiful, strong, kind, you're the embodiment of what I want in a mate... now I'm a woman, everything is wrong..."

"Hey, don't worry about it. While I myself don't mind if you're a girl, I understand other people have problems with it." Emma explained to Erin "Just take your time and work through it. Though, at least now I know you love me... To be honest, I do too. Love you, I mean." She said, a bit embarrassed to admit such a thing.

Erin perked up and thought for a second, "you... do?"She shifted a bit awkwardly, moving ever so closer to her, "you... you're nor lying, right?"

Emma shook her head "Nope. In fact, I feel even more of an attraction to you, now that you've become such a cute girl." She added.
