They looked behind and thought he was friends with her, so a guy took her away and the others took care of him. Akane tried to yell but her mouth was covered.

Gunner puts his things down and shoves past the two who were left and chases after the man who grabbed Akane.

Gunner turns a corner and slams into a wall he quickly regains motion and grabs a metal lid from a garbage can and throws it at the mans legs.

As the man falls, she managed to get away even by stumbling. Akane landed on his arms from how desperate she wanted to be saved. As they went away, Akane managed to take her breath. "Y-you... I-I..." She couldn't organize her words, only shed a few tears.

She sniffles and tries to hide the tears. Akane's life almost slipped away, thinking she wouldn't ever see her family anymore. "I thought... I would die..." Said after calming down, "but you... you happened to be there."

The night made her shiver a bit. She kept remembering what happen, and what he did was brave. No one else would have helped her out, so that made her feel a bit happy. When she arrived, her mother hugged her crying. " Mom, I'm fine" Akane kept repeating. Her dog whimpered a bit.

Akane tried to sleep, but the events that happened that evening made her a bit uncomfortable. She thought of the heroic moment her friend did to save her. No one would do that for her.

Gunner fell sleep alright but woke up multiple times in the night.


Going to school the next morning hurt because he was so tired. Gunner made his way to school hoping he didn't fall over from lack of sleep.
