Time passes flying and it seemed a bit boring for her. The usual stuff happened all day. Taking classes, listening to students, feeling like the world is moving slowly. Soon, it was time to leave. She knew her next stop was the local library in town. That's where she pass the time by reading different things while working.

Gunner's day seemed to drag on and on. When school finally let out Gunner went to his phone to find the closest restaurant because he was starving since he didnt eat lunch. But since he couldn't find a cheap near by restaurant he went into a small corner store and bought a bag of chips and a small drink. Gunner began to head back to his house until he passed the library and remembered he needed to get a book for history class so he closed his chip bag and put it into his bookbag. He climbed the stairs and went inside.

As a costumer went inside, the bell hanging from the door sounded. Her eyes were interrupted by his presence. Akane tilts her head a bit, wondering why was he there. She didn't talk, but heard what he needed and went to look for it. Then, after he signed the list for visits, she handed the book.

Gunner took the book and made his way out of the building. "That same girl again."he thought. His mind began to wonder as he thought of the girl he had been seeing all day. When he finally got home he was welcomed by the embrace of a hug from his aunt. She asked him many questions about his first day of school but Gunner's mind was elsewhere.

Right at 6 pm, her shift was up. Akane said her goodbyes before heading through the door. The sun was setting, making her a bit uncomfortable due to getting home in time. Passing through the streets at night was dangerous, even more when she's all by herself. Hearing dudes whistle at her life if she was a dog pissed her off. At least none of them had tried to touch her. After she got home, her mother had dinner ready. "Same as always" said Akane as her mother asked the usual on first days of school. "I saw a boy there... I thought I've seen him before. I just had this weird feeling..." Immediately, her mom smiled and giggled a bit. "No mom, they're not butterflies in my stomach. I don't fall for that easily. I'm a rock, literally."

Once lunch came around Gunner decided to open the topic of girls with his friends and of course they acted as all men do they acted like total morons. While on the topic Gunner asked if any of them knew Akane and they all wigged out at the fact that Gunner had brought up the name of a girl. They soon changed the topic to something other than girls eventually.

Akane couldn't wait to graduate and get away from this school. She felt like a ghost among students. Well, that's what she want to happen after all. Sometimes, Akane goes to different school clubs, especially Art club. It had one of her paintings which almost no one knows is hers, a skull next to a rose.

Gunner never joined clubs mainly because he thought they were stupid, so once club sign ups came around Gunner didn't participate. He didn't want to put himself out there he wanted to stay in the background.


As Gunner walked down the hall to his next class he saw the art club display. They all ment nothing to him except random slators of paint. He saw Akane's painting and made his mental opinions and went to class.

It helped her pass the time and to ignore idiots. Although, she heard the teacher's announcement of a school trip next week to a play. Akane thought it would be boring, but kept it in mind.

Hearing about the trip to see a play made Gunner sick in the stomach. He hated plays. People breaking into song at random just made him feel sick. His friends felt the same way so he thought he could just sit with them and judge the play with them.

At least the play was about a novel, a psychological story. It might look silly in a few scenes, but they sure made Akane entertained. The crowd is what will piss her off since they talk and not focus on it.

Akane tried to get help, but no one would give her a hand. So she went through the back door, thinking nobody would be there waiting for her. However, it was a bad idea now that the darkness has taken over. Akane head footsteps coming from both sides, so she went back inside to get out from the main door. But there was a guy cornering her.

They looked behind and thought he was friends with her, so a guy took her away and the others took care of him. Akane tried to yell but her mouth was covered.
