Fantasy Shura Academy: How Strong is Your Punch!? (Martial Arts/Super Power/ School RP)

Also, another question for you, YungJazz YungJazz

Martial Artists are able to harness ki/chi/chakra/etc correct? Do you have a certain vision of how it can be used or is it mostly use your imagination and resources and come up with something?

(For example, is it just a boost or can it actually DBZ a planet or Naruto up some clones XD)

And there's the other question I was waiting for. Well since they live in a world with people who can blow up mountains with lightning, split the sea, and pretty much nuke entire cities, it would make sense that the martial artists can do pretty impressive stuff with Ki.

Now it can be used to DBZ/Yu yu hakusho/ god of high school levels of strength and speed, but can not be used to fire energy blasts or things like that. It can bolster strength, heal injuries, and other physical enhancements, but no energy stuff.

Martial artists instead have techniques they use to fight at distances. Kick fast/hard enough to created a blade of wind, cause blasts of fire by punch the air fast enough, and run fast enough to break the sound barrier.

It's all technique and strength for a Martial Artist, how you use Ki to improve your art is your choice

I feel like I should have asked a bit earlier than now but it just came to me, but here goes: Generally how old are students when they enter Shura? Also, how old are they when they graduate/leave?

Usually they're around 14 to 15 when they enter and around 21 to 22 when they leave, or younger depending on how strong/talented a student is

What about using these energies to enhance weapons, would it be alright if the weapons were glowing and imbued with elements?
 
Hopefully my CS is okay and I didn't step on any toes... If I need to change/alter/add anything just let me know.
 
You know what, i'm going to add a slight change to Martial Artist abilities. Martial Artists can harness their energy for elemental attributes, energy blasts, and so on. The only thing that stays the same is that they can't fire DBZ levels of energy. More like Street Fighter/Yu Yu Hakusho levels. Sorry if this throws a wrench in certain characters or messes up your character abilities, but this should even out Contractor/Martial Artist levels a little.
 
Crap, I keep forgetting to explain more stuff. But creation of your own original martial art style is fine. And for contractors, you can be contracted to one myth, but have the weopons/artifacts from another.

While I don’t see myself joining because this isn’t my thing, I love the concept because the Martial Artists That are described here are usually the kind of characters I like to play in power RPs for the exact reasons listed. But, it kinda loses its thrill for me when it’s the whole point of the RP and not me actually going against the grain (or at least, not feeling like I’m going against the grain).
 
YungJazz YungJazz Are the positions updated? I'm just trying to make sure I am not trying to make a character for something that is already filled

I'm interested in a Contractor Council slot right now it wouldn't matter if my character was just a normal student though, I'm just interested

Oops! I didn't realize that. If you're still up for it, I wouldn't mind doing it with you, too. Especially if you want to go the Siblings that hate/rival each other route. I'm making multiple characters so I really don't mind.

Its okay. I am kind of more into my character idea so I'm not sure if I can do that anymore. I plan on making multiple characters as well though.
We seem to lack a quantity of females

I'm working on a Apollo Contractor right now, pretty excited about my Boi Apollo, what a god.
