Realistic or Modern Shoulda Woulda Coulda

She smiled and rest her head back against his shoulder. “I thought we had decided on Lana.” She mumbled, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment until she felt weird all of a sudden. “Henry… I don’t think she’s waiting for her due date.” She told him gently, taking a second to realise her water had broken.

He smiled tiredly and shrugged a little. “I would but I worry I’d be doing this to them. If it’s highly likely that they will end up like me I do not want them to be my children… well yes mine but… not… you know.” He sighed quietly.

Henry smiled widely and nodded some "Right, my little Lana Bear." He said sweetly before kissing the top of her head. He went wide eyed when felt a bit of a wet patch form on his leg from where she has been leaning on him "Shit, okay let me get our things."

Max gave a small nod and rested her head on his shoulder "Well I guess we should get tested." She said softly beford pulling out fhe small test from her back pocket "Because as of right now, it looks like we're going to be parents."

He frowned and looked down at it in a panic. “Shit…. Let me… fuck. How did we end up being so careless?!” He questioned, getting his phone out and calling up his doctors practice to organise an appointment for her for tomorrow.

Carmen smiled a little and watched him get things together from their stuff, talking to his manager who was there with them to let him know that her water had just broke so they were gonna have to head on out.

Max frowned softly and gave a small sigh "Well...we don't use protection much and the pill doesn't always work." She murmured to him as he got off the phone.

Henry talked with his manager quickly before he got her out to the car and called her doctor to explain the situation. He hoped there was a hospital close enough to get her there in time and not have to have the baby in their car.

She frowned as she leaned back, calling his mom to let her know then just watched him after a contraction finished. “Why do you look more stressed than me?” She smiled tiredly. “I need you calm Henry.” She told him quietly, giving his hand a squeeze. “We should have a while at least before she gets here.” She told him.

He frowned and watched her. “I love you… and I want children with you … I just don’t want them going through what I do on a daily basis.” He reassured her. “But if you’re clear from any genes like that…. Sweetheart im very excited.” He smiled.

Henry started the drive and chuckled quietly "Just excited love. I want to make sure we get you there safely." He murmured kissing her hand gently as he continued driving.

Max nodded some and smiled widely "We'll figure this out." She said happily before kissing him lovingly "We might be parents."

He smiled a little and ran his fingers through her hair. “Mmm I hope we are.” He murmured softly, kissing her forehead tiredly. “I can be finished with this right now. Why don’t we call in some dinner and go to bed?” He asked her quietly.

She smiled some, calling everyone else that needed to know before another contraction started and she grabbed at his hand tight as she could.

Max nodded happily and kissed him gently before she got up "Pizza?" She asked going towards the door.

Henry took in a deep breath as she gripped his hand "Almost there love almost there." He said softly

He nodded and smiled as he watched her go, “hey… if all is good, really I am excited I promise… I’m just worried.” He assured her, getting up carefully and made his way downstairs with her having to pause at the bottom and catch his breath before moving on to the kitchen.

Carmen just nodded and kept gripping his hand until they pulled up and she got out to go in and talk to reception while Henry parked the car.

Max smiled happily and gave him a small nod before she left to go order the food. She came out of the kitchen with two drinks when Ivar finally made it down. She frowned a bit and placed the drinks on the small table near the stairs "Ivar? Do you need help to the couch?"

Henry came in after quickly parking the car frowning some when he found Carmen sitting in the waiting area "Are they getting a room ready for you?" He asked worriedly

She frowned and looked up to him, shaking her head "They told me it's gonna be ages and I should just go home and run a bath." She told him frowning, "I told them my water broke and everything and she told me to go home." She muttered, holding his hand a little tighter as another contraction started, "She wouldn't listen when I said the contractions are real close." She mumbled.

He glanced up at her and shook his head, "No I'm alright, just worn out." He'd been promising and promising that he was absolutely fine and trying to show her that he didn't need the surgeries but he could definitely feel himself getting weaker. Each day it was a little more painful to get anywhere and he was getting tired enough it was starting to show on his face

Henry went a bit wide eyed but nodded some "Right. I'll be right back." He murmured before going up to the nurses station "Hello, my fianceé is currently in labor and needs a room...NOW."

Max frowned softly as she helped him to the couch sighing softly. She was worried about him. His constant reassurance was wearing thin because she knew it was a lie. All she wanted was for him to be in less pain.

He sat down and waited for her to get over to him, pulling her in close. “You got work tomorrow?” He asked her quietly.

She watched him argue with them for a solid ten minutes before coming back. “We still gotta go home?” She asked him, frowning when he nodded and she stood up carefully with him, heading out to the car and just staying quiet the whole way back, listening to him mutter complaints. “Hey, I’m sure they know what they’re doing. And we can go back in a few hours.” She told him trying to calm him.

Max gave a small nod "Yeah a small shoot in the morning." She murmured cuddling up close to him "Has your arm set okay?" She asked softly remembering he had said it had been bothering him yesterday from his break a few months ago.

Henry frowned shaking his head a bit "I'll sue them if this goes wrong." He muttered as he sped home so she could be comfortable "You sure you don't want me to find another hospital?"

She smiled and shook her head. “We will be fine Henry.” She promised him quietly, getting home with him and headed up to their room to lay down, smiling when Kal came straight to sit with her. “You excited to meet your sister?” She cooed to him, thanking Henry when he brought her a drink.

He shrugged. “There’s no weird bumps. I would assume so.” He told her quietly, getting worn out already and just went quiet, holding her close. “I love you.” He mumbled as he drifted off to sleep on the couch with her.

Henry gave a heavy sigh but nodded and finally got them home. He helped her up to their room before getting her something to drink smiling as Kal refused to leave Carmen's side "He knows something is up with his momma."

Max smiled softly watching TV as he started to fall asleep. She got up carefully once she heard a knock at the door and giggling softly as Ivar started to snore a bit.

She smiled some and rubbed his head gently. “We’re gonna have her here before we know it.” She smiled excitedly, giving his hand a squeeze and leaned back against her pillows. “I’m gonna try and take a nap while I can.” She mumbled.

He woke up long enough to move upstairs later on to go to bed with her but he was more worn out than usual this evening and asleep again by the time his head hit the pillow

Henry smiled softly and gave a small nod before he moved to lay next to her "I'll be right here." He murmured happily

Max woke up that next morning and frowned finding Ivar still asleep next to her. He never slept in, always up at the crack of dawn doing whatever he wanted. She sat up a bit and softly shook his awake "Ivar?"

He groaned a little and glanced over at her. “Hmm?” He grumbled, “im fine. Just tired.” He mumbled, burying his face in the blankets and went back to sleep.

Carmen woke up just an hour later frowning some, feeling different than before. “Henry… I think… I think you’re gonna have to call them to come here.” She told him quietly. “Cause I really feel like I gotta push.” She told him frowning, getting a little worried now and got him to grab some towels.

Max gave a small nod frowning more before she got up to get ready for her day. She sighed softly as she left after telling him goodbye. She was very worried about him at the moment, he was getting weaker and weaker. She was scared that she would loose him if this didn't get better.

Henry woke up and groaned softly. He rushed to get towels though when he heard her. After he got the towels he called 911 "Babe I know you didn't want me seeing anything but I think I'm gonna have to."

Carmen frowned and groaned a bit “you’re not a doctor though babe.” She pointed out, resting her head back while she helped him get her sweatpants off anyway, just trying to breathe through it and shook her head. “I gotta push Henry.” She told him quickly, starting to worry a little more.

He made it downstairs much later into the morning and got himself some breakfast before going to get some work finished but he only made it halfway from the kitchen to the study before feeling a wave of vertigo hit him and he collapsed, struggling to breathe before passing out.

Henry frowned as he started taking her sweats off. He quickly put the phone on speaker while it rang 911 "Hey! Someone get an ambulance to my address! My wife is in labor and needs to push I got no clue what to do!" He yelled down the line before giving his address to the operator.

Max came in about 2 hours later before finding him. She went wide eyed when she saw him on the floor to the kitchen and quickly rushed to him "Ivar?! Ivar!"

Carmen frowned as they worked to guide him through what they needed to do while they waited for the paramedics and she kept a death grip on his hand the whole time.

Ivar groaned a little, feeling her hands on his face and managed to open his eyes to look at her before passing out again.

Henry listened closely to the medic keeping keeping her hand in his "You got this beautiful okay? Just push when you feel it okay?" He said calmly taking a deep breath as he inspected her.

Max whimpered quietly before dialing 911. She opened the door when they knocked quickly taking them to where he was "I came home and he was passed out, I don't know what happened."

She only had to do it twice before medics arrived anyway and she was able to have Henry up by her head again anyway. “Oh they weren’t kidding when they said sex was a bad idea.” She whimpered, almost at the end with it and well and truly exhausted, until finally she gave one more push and the sound of crying filled the room while carmen lay back exhausted

Hvitserk arrived at the house frowning, having seen the ambulances outside and quickly followed the sounds to the kitchen. “Shit. What happened is he okay?” He asked max, going over to her “he asked me to come over for a drink this evening.”
