Shot in the Dark

Ruby just shook her head, running away again.

He sighed, chasing her. "Stop running will you!" He said, holding her by her shoulders and pulling her to him. "Just tell me whats wrong."

Ruby shook her head, staying quiet.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

"Tell me, or I'll kiss you." He said, his nose touching hers.

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby blushed, turning her head away. "You wouldn't understand." She said, looking down.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

"How can I if you won't tell me?" He ask, turning her head to face him. "Just tell me, and if I don't understand, then I'm not for you. End of story."

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby sighed. "I just don't want to hurt you." She said.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

"You won't, trust me." He said, hugging Ruby.

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby clutched on tight to his shirt, her face pressed to his chest as she began to cry. "But it always happens." She said.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

"Shh, it won't happen to me. Don't cry now." He said, rubbing her back to comfort her.

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby just clutched on tight to him, crying into his chest.

He didn't let go. He stood there, whispering comforting words to her, not once releasing her.

Ruby soon stopped crying, but didn't let go.

"Will you tell me what happened?" He ask her. (Gonna go to sleep now.)

Ruby sighed shakily. "Maybe, but not in public." She said.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

(Last message before I sleep.) "Sure, let's go." He said, walking off, still holding her hand. "Where to?" He asks her.

Ruby shrugged. "My house, I guess." She said.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

He grinned. "Sure, lead the way." (Okay, I should sleep now. Night!)

Ruby sighed and walked towards her house.

"Nice place you've got." He said as they got to her house. "All alone?"

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby nodded slowly.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

"Okay, so are you sure you don't mind me hanging out here?" He asks, entering the house after her.

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby nodded. "Yeah." She said, her eyes still sad.

 

[CrimsonEclipse]

He nodded, wrapping his arms around her. "So, what happened?"

 

[IceQueen]

Ruby sighed. "Well at one point in time I had a group of friends, including my sister. Then one day, there was an accident. My sister died, then my friends slowly started disappearing." She said, her eyes starting to fill with tears.
