@Amie[/URL] I don't mean to nitpick but Gerd's grasp on French and every other language he speaks would be that of a native speaker... He has been taught French, German, Italian, English, Japanese and Spanish since a very young age due to him and his family always travelling... Just pointing out that his French wouldn't be bad at all... It would be exceptional for a foreigner

Oh, but it doesn't need to be bad.


Addie was simply bothered to hear it spoken at all by someone who, in her (v. bad) eyes, dismissed the country's cuisine.


She also only heard a bit, so she didn't feel it was necessary to give much judgement on that itself, and rather just insult it because it was there to insult.
