tbh being good at top means you have to understand some of the game's macro similar to playing jungle or twisted fate. Otherwise you're just another midlaner but too removed from everyone else to make a difference w/o tp. :')

it's an island man mostly because a lot of top laners have high gold efficiency and only need a bit to get rolling. :v it's really hard to snowball a win off top lane; junglers get more out of ganking mid or bot is the sad fact of life.
