Here it is! The Character Sheet for Sherwood Shores!

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Sexuality:
Species:
Alignment:
Appearance:
Personality:
History:
Skills:
Powers:
Equipment:
Weaknesses:

Some extra info for some of these. Most of them are self explanatory however.
Species: You do not have to be a human, of course. You could be an alien, or a demon, or a vampire or werewolf or half-zombie or whatever else you can think of. This is where you'll put background info about you species by the way, so if you're an alien you can say a few things about their species here.
Alignment: Hero, villain, or neutral? Neutral means that they often take either role, or never take either. This can change during play, and hopefully it will for some! Switching sides is a sign of character growth.
Skills: What they know how to do because of their training. This is where you put stuff like how good they are using guns, coding, hand-to-hand, etc. You can also go into some details about how well they use their equipment and powers here as well.
Powers: Put here just about everything that makes them better than the average human. If you can throw fireballs, mention that here. If your vampire is way stronger than any human, you put that here as well.
Equipment: What equipment they have on them in most scenarios. This will not be 100% accurate at all times, so consider it what they have by default, not after being beaten bruised and abandoned in the arctic.
Weaknesses: I'm gonna say this now and only once. Your character must have a weakness. A character without weaknesses needs more work. Do not forget this.
It can be an exploitable personality flaw or a chip in their powers or basically anything that another player can use against them.

Name: Edmund Ludwig
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species: Human
Alignment: Neutral
Appearance:
_TAN3809-copy2-copy.jpg
latest
Personality: Edmund is a very intelligent person, but is not good when it comes to reading peoples moods and mannerisms. Edmund is usually a calm and collected person, only speaking when spoken to usually, but if in a good mood, he can spark up a conversation. Edmund isn't a very sympathetic person, usually not going out of his way to help others as some people don't deserve it. Edmund does tend to snap but when he expresses his anger, it's not in a violent burst but in a silent rage that could make a room uncomfortable.

History: Edmund was born to German immigrants who immigrated to Sherwood shores, he having been raised there, loved the country and the people. Edmund's childhood was normal, nothing of importance happened til his late teens. When he was 18, he was traveling to Sherwood shores from a camping trip and noticed a streak in the sky and a loud crash. He investigated the site and noticed a capsule in the crater. He examined it and pried open the capsule to reveal some sort of power suit. After a while he noticed that it wasn't occupied. Being curious as he was, he carried the suit to his truck and took it back to his home. Eventually he became brave enough and put it on and the thing powered on immediately. The suit was in good condition, and after moving around in it he felt like a god. It also had a sword with it that seemed to be made out of an unknown energy. The suit it's self was made of an rare earth metal, seeming indestructible. He realized that if he planned to use it, had to know how to fix or improve. The suit used an alien language unknown to him, so he spent many of his days tinkering on it, and he learns more about it everyday. With the knowledge he currently has he could repair it, but not if it sustained major damage. He had to learn more about it, and set to it. Edmund needed materials for the thing and he needed money to purchase it. He started doing jobs for various groups whether it would be a hero or an villain. He didn't care as long as he got the money.

Skills: Swordsmanship, Engineering, Ability to repair Advanced technology
Powers: His suit gives him armor, makes him stronger and quicker.
Equipment: His suit and his sword.
Weaknesses: Without his suit, he is just a normal human.

Name: Robin Strider
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species: Human-ghost combo thing
Alignment: Hero
Appearance:
7f4df5f1b7130311ebf86d24ee34b086.png
8573C107-7592-47A4-B442-69C32EA2E733.png

Personality:

Robin likes to enjoy the little things in life, rarely considering any long-term consequences, and always wants to live in the moment. He lives with a mentality of not wanting to regret any inaction, so he be doing all the action. He makes a point to be as memorable as possible, creating a sassy persona with a multitude of bad puns.

History:

Robin discovered his powers a few years ago when he realised his adrenal glands were able to synthesize ectoplasm, the stuff that ghosts are made of, to use a couple of ghost-related abilities. As a young child with a love of fiction, of course his first idea after this revelation was to become a superhero. So he started doing that stuff alongside school and other hobbies, thankfully not being held down by his father who himself was a former superhero, and didn’t have much problem with letting his son do the same thing.

Things got a bit awkward for him during an incident when he put a bit too much stress on his powers, triggering a disproportional feedback effect on his own body resulting in some nasty internal injuries. He didn’t think much of the phenomenon at first, but as it continued to happen, his body started getting gradually weaker as he constantly accumulated damage. Using basic logic, he concluded that continuing to recklessly use his powers this way was sure to decrease his overall lifespan.

So he decided to continue recklessly using his powers. The damage had already been done and his life expectancy was surely already a fraction of what it used to be, so he wanted to either go big or go home. Besides, the whole point of being a hero is to help people even at your own expense, right? That’s how he perceived it, at least.

He continues to do his hero thing, now putting his whole heart and soul into it. He’s become pretty popular amongst younger audiences, with his entertaining persona tending to work a lot, and is now quite iconic with a simple yet easy to recognise costume.

Skills:
  • Cinematography
  • Video editing
  • Judo (with his base strength becoming weaker, he decided he needed a technique that didn’t rely so much on power.)
  • Cosplay
Powers:
  • Telekinesis- Directly changes kinetic energy values in objects to move them as he wishes. This becomes easier and more effective with practise, working a lot like how a muscle can be developed with exercise.
  • Telekinetic sonar- In order to directly change kinetic energy, you need to actually locate it first. Robin can detect unusual kinetic energy fluctuations around him, alerting him to sudden movements or even just really big movements.
  • Invisibility/intangibility- Temporarily become both invisible and intangible. This can be optionally extended to objects or people he’s holding. It takes constant stamina to maintain and currently can’t be maintained for more than 2 minutes at a time.
Equipment:
  • Night vision goggles
  • Plastic knuckled leather gloves
  • Mountain boots
Weaknesses:
  • EMPs- can cause him much irritation and makes his powers harder to use
  • Electric shocks- hurt him a lot more than they would a normal person, and temporarily disable his powers
  • Heavy telekinetic use- if he strains his power too much, like with suddenly outputting a large amount of kinetic energy, his body may experience feedback and cause major immediate injuries such as fractured bones.
  • Gradual overuse- his body’s base strength will decrease over time as the effects of the above weakness stack up, potentially to a devastating extent if it gets that far in the RP without outside intervention

Name: May'ona 5th Blood, or May for short
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Sexuality: She's pretty gay
Species: Faunara. The Faunara as a species are rather interesting. Most of them look quite like humans in shape. However, this race is ancient, and they've lost their historical records many times. However, they have absolute mastery over genetic engineering and have modified their own bodies to adapt to different planets. As such, they no longer have natural childbirth, and since they've lost so many of their records, no one knows what they originally looked like.
Alignment: Neutral, though leans a bit towards villain.
Appearance: Her unique brand of Faunara is engineered to live in water. So while she has a human-like face and body, she has many fishlike features. She has fins on the sides of her head where her ears would be if they weren't internal. Her skin is blue and a bit slimy, like a salamander's. She has gills on the sides of her neck. She does still have hair however, and it is short and red. She's almost constantly grinning, showing off her sharp, shark-like teeth.
However, she normally doesn't look like this. She has a disguise device, and she will normally have it on.
Her eyes are that color, and she has the same scar as well.
May'ona.png
She is 5'11" and weighs around 165 pounds.
Personality: May'ona is, in a word, frustrating to work with. She has a tendency to try to take the lead and doesn't quite work well with others. She gets distracted easily and usually ends up straying away from the group and fracturing any plan she's given. Moreover, she tends to piss people off by continuing to flirt, tease, ignore, etcetera, even when firmly told to stop. This makes her a rather difficult person to work with.
However, she is a very charismatic person and can rally the troups easily. She is a motivational force with an infectious grin and plenty of determination. She gets excited easily and loves nothing more than when someone else is willing to listen to her talk about something she likes. So if you can put up with her, she is a good friend to have.
If you can't though, then good luck.
History: May's problems actually began for her before she was born. While she didn't know until several years later, while she was being cloned a tiny blip in the power occurred. The doctors didn't think it was enough of a problem to discard her, so they continued. But when she was 15, she felt a random pain in her side that stayed with her the whole day. She went to the doctors, and they revealed the problem. She was dying. According to their tests, she would die because of cloning imperfection when she reached the age of 37. Suddenly, she couldn't just sit around on her birthworld anymore. She had to go out! She had to explore! She had to see the universe before it was too late.
So she did the only natural thing and smuggled herself away on a space pirate ship.
It was a long journey for her. She started off as a slave on their ship, then became a crew member, then when the captain was in his deathbed because of a gunshot wound he decided that she would be a good candidate for captain in his stead. She saw much of the universe and stole many artifacts. Until her crew got sick of her.
Our journey's beginning is closing in. She will be crashing down in the ocean in her escape pod about a hundred miles away from the city. Her pod is damaged, but it can reach the stars again with some repairs. Fixing the replicator first would be a good idea for her. And if it means getting off of Earth? If it means seeing even more of the universe before her 15 year timer is up?
She will do whatever it takes to fix her ship.
Skills: When it comes to skills, she's mostly a jack of all trades. Obviously she's best at swimming, and she's pretty good with handguns and dodging, but she also has minor skills in piloting, unarmed combat and engineering.
Powers: Because of her genetic modification, she is about twice as fast as the average person, though she isn't any stronger. She is very spatially aware and has a very precise, almost photographic memory of her surroundings. Other than that, she can breathe underwater and hold her breath longer. She's at her best underwater in fact, and she can move up to three times faster than usual under the water.
Equipment: Her weapon of choice is her laser pistol. It can be used for either rapid fire shots that can send a hit target flying with a minor burn and a large bruise, or she can charge it for a couple of seconds. A charged shot is significantly more dangerous and packs enough force create a crater in concrete. However, neither mode is hugely accurate except in close range.
Her typical outfit, a full body red suit, is made to survive the conditions of space if she were to add a helmet. It is pretty durable though and acts as makeshift armor of a sort. It's only really able to dampen to damage from a hard punch though.
Now, her greatest tool is a little computer that she wears around her wrist like a watch. It can survive being underwater with ease, and it has an intelligent AI inside of it. The AI can talk to her and give her advice, and knows how her pod is built enough to help her fix it. It can also create a hologram around her that acts as a disguise as long as nobody touches her skin. Lastly, it acts as a babel fish and can teach her languages it hears, which is how she knows English.
Weaknesses: As stated above, she gets distracted easily and her weapon of choice is her rather inaccurate laser pistol. She also, however, has another weakness: she dries out. Temperature extremes can cause quite a lot of damage to her skin. She also experiences frequent side pains due to her genetic issues and needs quite a lot of painkillers to cope with this.

Name: Old "King" Lycaon

Age: 617(Born in the Middle Ages)

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Species: Lycan/Werewolf

Alignment: Neutral

Appearance:

Human:Lycaon.jpg(Add an eyepatch)

Lycan:Lycaon 2.jpg

Personality: Lycaon is a dutiful warrior. He won't stand to see a person being persecuted against. He will also not hesitate to relieve an enemy of their life. This mindset was cemented by his upbringing. In lighter times he is quite the joker. Although he finds a lot of humor in "Dad" jokes. He will not stand for anyone to slander the reputation of the Lycaian Kingdom.(Even if it was conquered long ago). He will not back down from a challenge. Although when not formally challenged he is a firm believer in picking your battles. Since Lycaia fell he has turned into an irritable drunk without a purpose. Although nary a moment passes when he doesn't regret his past failure.

History:

Part One:Young Life

Lycaon was raised among royalty in the empire of Lycaia. The richest lycan kingdom at the time. His father was the eldest brother of the current king, with his mother being the daughter of another king from a different kingdom. His noble heritage was always thrown into his face as a youngster to push him to be better, always grooming him for the life of a military childhood. This didn't leave much time for friendship, so he was very socially awkward as a young child. He didn't have much time to dwell on this due to his almost round the clock training, in both strategy, hand to hand combat, marksmanship, and swordsmanship. Turning the boy from a quiet mousy child, into a proud and fierce Lycan warrior in his late teens. Until that one day where Lycaon met his love, and future wife. Lupa. A nobleman's daughter close to his own age. He was quickly smitten, and his affections were returned. The two began a long term of courting.

Part Two:Crusades, and matrimony

When Lycaon reached 29 years he was put on as part of a force going to squash a rebellion in an outlying Lycaian village. It was supposed to be a test, to gauge Lycaon's proficiency to see if he had it in him to become a military leader. Lycaon went cheerfully. Although not before saying a heart felt goodbye to a worrisome Lupa. He left out to prove himself to his father, and uncle. He was a bit of wildcard during the battle often coming into conflict with his superior officers. Although he did all he could to keep morale up. He did a damn fine job of it too. Often sitting around fires with the soldiers, listening to their thoughts and bringing them up to the senior officers when they were reasonable. When the day of battle came he was ferocious. Going into battle with nothing but bare claws, and pure lycan rage. Upon returning home the nobles considered his actions. Saying they were quite brash, and questioning if Lycaon truly had what a general needed. There was also the matter of Lupa. The two were married a few months after the battle. Proving quite a happy occasion. It wasn't long before their first child was on the way. Lycaon knew nothing but joy... until the raid.

Part Three:Rise to Power

The name of the event was raid but it was closer to a massacre. Twoscore soldiers from a neighboring kingdom entered Lycaia in the night. Destroying most of the Lycaian royals in a single night. The leader of this assault was sly lycan by the name of Wulver. Who had come into possession of an enchanted sword known as Wolfsbaen. The sword was renowned for its ability to bless its owner with "Immortality". Lycaon found this to be untrue for Wulver was slain by Lycaon's own claws in revenge for the deaths of the Lycaian royalty. Lycaon took the sword for himself, and felt its magic for the first time. With him being the oldest surviving royal the title of kingship was given to him. This was around the time humans were growing bolder. Crafting silver weapons to attack the lycans that had held the seats of power for so long. Lycaon only knew one answer to this problem. The lycan kingdoms needed to unite for their own protection. Lycaon raised Wolfsbaen and set on a campaign to unite the kingdoms.

Part Four:Unity

Lycaon's campaign was one the way to ruling the entire Lycan race. With Wolfsbaen, and the army of Lycaia at his back the other kingdoms fell quickly where they were given the choice of either joining Lycaia or meeting death. Lycaon was not cruel. Nobles of conquered kingdoms were given high places in their new order. He even gave them the oppurtunity to challenge him in a one on one battle. Ruler vs Ruler to see who truly deserved to lead the Lycans to greatness. After months of almost nonstop war Lycaon had finally done it. He had united his race under one glorious purpose. Or so he thought.

Part Five:The Fall, and Present day

Even though Lycaon had officially conquered the surrounding kingdoms. There was a single dissident that would spark the fall of Lycaia, and by extension the Lycan race. Skoll, son of Wulver would not stand by and be ruled by what he saw as his father's murderer. The bastard began a quiet revolution that sparked a deal with frightened humans. Lycaon lived in blissful ignorance of this. Thanks to the longevity Wolfsbaen gifted him with he was still brimming with energy in what should've been his twilight years. His children were growing into fine warriors that he was growing more proud of by the day. Lupa naturally fit into the role of Lycan queen, and Lycaon believed that the humans would never attack such a powerful empire. He was wrong. Entire kingdoms of men combined to wipe out the proud empire. Lycaon led a counter offensive that left the middle of the kingdom exposed to the rebels. The Lycaian army was wiped out from two fronts, and the kingdom itself would soon follow. Lycaon was saved only by the selflessness of his wife who unwillingly pushed him down a cliff into an ocean to save his life. Lycaon blamed himself for the fall of his kingdom, and retreated to the newly discovered new world. Where he stayed angry at himself until present day.

Skills:

-Swordsmanship
-Brilliant strategist
-magical knowledge
-Beastly fighting prowess

Powers:

Compared to other lycans Lycaon has no real powers, but he is stronger, and faster than a normal human even in his human form. Like the rest of his kind Lycaon's body heals from wounds incredibly quickly. His lycan shape is even more powerful than his human one. It gives him superhuman senses, and durability. On the full moon his powers are strongest causing Almost any wound to heal instantaneously. In his lycan form human disease doesn't affect him.

Equipment:

Wolfsbaen: The magical sword that Lycaon can thank for his ongoing life. Even if it doesn't give true immortality while it is in his possession he will not be able to die of old age. Wolfsbaen also cannot be stolen and would burn any would be thieves if they made any attempts to do so. The sword can only be taken by the one who slays its owner. The sword can also bypass magical barriers. Evening the playing field against magically immortal adversaries. Although the sword will never wear or break it has no supernatural strength meaning it can cut through quite a bit but it has limits. It would be stopped by tough armor just like any other sword.

Weaknesses:

Like all other lycans, Lycaon's healing abilities can be nullified by silver, fire, or the claws of another lycan or other similar races. A terrible wound from a normal weapon, such as decapitation, or dismemberment will disregard these abilities and Lycaon will not be able to heal from them. It should be noted that normal weapons will not be able to pierce his hide during the night of a full moon. Although his weaknesses such as silver, fire, and lycan claws will still get through and could prove fatal.

An extremely bad smell could incapacitate Lycaon, at least in his beastly form.

His powers are not as strong in the daylight, on nights when the moon is not out.

(Finally done)

WIP

Name: Avion
Age: 711
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species: Eternal

Eternal are an ancient race of beings which are largely considered to be immortal and all-powerful throughout written history, though that is false for the most part. Eternal throughout their time have always had a certain arrogance about them, forming groups often called pantheons to lead civilizations along the paths they decree, only to abandon them when they are needed most. This type of behavior ended up being the death of many an eternal in ancient times, as their followers would often turn against them. Luckily for humanity, this ended up killing off the worst of the eternal and discouraging similar behavior rather than invoking the wrath of their entire society. Through time however and a catastrophe with death tolls similar in comparison to The Black Death, though exclusively directed at Eternal, the vast majority of the race disappeared. That wouldn't be a problem, if reproducing wasn't so difficult. An Eternal child matures at roughly the same rate as a Human, but takes well over a century to actually develop any powers or a 'true form', though they maintain the mindset of an eternal throughout the maturing process, often leading to fatal errors in judgement. Most every eternal alive in modern times are in hiding, be it in plain sight or otherwise, especially due to the seemingly increasing number of supernatural forces finding their way into mortal hands.

While they do happen to be immortal in the sense that they do not age, they can be killed just as any other, though with greater difficulty in most cases. In terms of appearance and powers, no two Eternal are alike, each individual having separate capabilities and forms, though nearly all have either the inherent ability to change between a mortal form and their own, or the wits to stay out of sight. The few things every Eternal have in common are that each has one or more special powers unique amongst their peers, most if not all view themselves as higher beings than mortals regardless of how they view them (For instance; an Eternal hero might see it as their duty to protect and aid lesser beings, while an Eternal villain might see Humans and the like as tools to use and throw away in their plans), every Eternal finds themselves drawn to the presence of other Eternal, being able to feel when another is nearby, and all Eternal have a true form unique to themselves in some way. Ironic that most of their similarities are that they are totally different from each other.
Alignment: Villain
Appearance:
bf994cb5595cdb63b6cd56590027cfb9.jpg

039e4cfdca702f3d310ff395dd073b3c.jpg
Personality: Avion is a grim man who relishes all forms of battle, feeling the most alive when said life is in peril. This has lead him to partake in human wars with great frequency and through such encounters has developed a certain respect for them, a viewpoint extremely uncommon among Eternal. However, centuries in a tomb at the hands of an organization opposed to all things supernatural have filled him with a deep hatred for many humans. He maintains a great respect for many human soldiers and warriors, though anyone proudly proclaiming themselves to be a hunter in his presence often meets a cold glare, followed by a missing person report not long afterwards.
History:
Skills:

Battlemaster - Avion is an exceptionally well trained fighter in all aspects, rivaled by few on the field of battle.

Linguist - As a side-effect of immortality, Avion has learned the vast majority of human languages, and can hold a fluent conversation with virtually any mortal (from Earth). He also knows some about otherworldly languages, though little, and about few.

Powers:
Supernatural Physique - Avion is much stronger, faster, and more durable than any normal human both in his human and true forms, though considerably more-so in his true form. In his Human form, he wields the strength and speed of three men as well as the durability to shrug off most melee attacks from standard humans. In his true form that speed and strength increases to being able to lift and throw cars with great effort, max out at highway speeds on the track, and provides a sort of natural armor which makes small arms fire completely ineffective, guns only posing a lethal threat with high caliber rounds at relatively close ranges.

Metamorphosis - Avion, like any Eternal, has a true form which he can change between at will, though it takes roughly 30 seconds to transform entirely, and the transformation is extremely painful. In this form he has considerably increased physical capabilities, along with a number of additional powers which he can call upon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
True Form Powers:

Soul-Bond - Avion can place a mark on another living creature which allows him to know the precise location of said creature whenever he wishes, and vice-versa. The mark functions as a curse, and as such can be removed with anything effective against them, technological, mystical, or by other means.

Death's Touch - While in his true form, Avion wields the capability to transfer a living beings life into his own via touch, either healing damage if he has sustained any, or emboldening his powers otherwise, effectively doubling his physical capabilities for a short time if given the time to fully drain a life. Draining the life of a standard human would take 2 turns in combat, emboldening his powers for 5 turns. Interrupting the process leaves the victim with no injuries, though they will feel as though a great deal of energy has been sapped from them to varying degrees depending on how long they were being drained.
Equipment:
Weaknesses:

Incapable of metamorphosing mid-combat (in most cases) due to the time it takes to perform.

While in his true form there are small openings in his natural armor along most joints, similar to a suit of platemail. These spots maintain the durability of his human form.

When challenged to battle, he will drop whatever he's doing to accept that challenge in most every case. He also has been known to misinterpret what people say as challenges, causing what many would consider unreasonable hospitalizations and deaths.

Name: Tas 9-734
Age: 24
Gender:
Male?
Sexuality:
N/A
Species:
Gigantions - a species of alien very similar to humans, other than being significantly smaller.
Alignment:
Neutral
Appearance:
Tas stands at only half an inch tall, his body slim and lanky with an apparently oversized head. His skin is a dull grey and appears slimy, but is actually surprisingly smooth.
1536970309091.png

Personality:
Naturally curious and adventurous, Tas is often found exploring places he shouldn't, often to his own detriment. Due to being incapable of understanding human speech, he fails to comprehend some human social structure, although he is learning.
History:
Tas was part of a Gigantion seeding party, his ship one of thousands that were sent to populate his species amongst the stars. However, it turned out the planet he was sent to was populated by lifeforms much, much larger than had been anticipated, and as such is now the only surviving member of his species on Earth. Not giving up hope just yet, he continues to search for an ideal breeding ground, and to try to understand the natives of this world.
Skills:
Due to natural sticky pads on his hands and feet, he is capable of climbing up almost any surface.
Powers:
Tas is capable of rapid asexual reproduction, cloning his body practically infinitely as long as sufficient organic material is available.
Equipment:
A single small, alien tazer-like object, which is capable of knocking out creatures that weigh almost 5 ounces!
Weaknesses:
Very, very squishy.

Name: Joanne “Darlin” Lynn
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Species: Human
Alignment: Hero
Appearance:
AFC7C371-DF66-4509-963C-3F54A771C2E6.jpeg
2BB6B5BD-430A-4C6A-AB78-A70C7FE9578E.jpeg

Personality:

They don’t call her Darling Jo for no reason! Her mother could coo over those lovely round cheeks and eyes she had. And oh! that personality, sweet as honey, and she was such an inquisitive toddler!

Was.

Nowadays she still responds to ‘Darlin’ or ‘Jo’, but she has, allegedly, lost much of her original charm to puberty. Truth is, she hasn’t really changed, people’s expectations just... shifted. They became more complicated and confusing and so hard to understand.

Jo spends most of her time speaking, be it to someone or herself. Even if she knows nobody is listening. Her words slur, and randomly stutter, but she’s good company. Although she has a considerably hard time with social cues, Jo tries her best, often coming off as oblivious, if not stupid. The assumption is excruciatingly wrong, but she doesn’t care. She walks with the confidence befitting of the 2nd grader to finish his spelling quiz before anyone else.

Jo rarely thinks before she speaks, although she often regrets it. Usually she’s acting with the best intentions. All in all, she is a somewhat sarcastic, self-deprecating, yet cheerful person.

History:

Jo’s parents were there for most of her younger years, and were quite nice. They helped her through her diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome, taught her the basics- walking, talking, and that no you can’t use urinals without that extra piece of equipment. She loved them, and she still does. However, duty calls.

Both and her mother and father were military, and were required overseas. But, being 12, Jo had a long and drawn out discussion about not wanting to leave the state she’d known all her life. Eventually her older brother by 6 years, Connor, offered to to take her with him to Sherwood Shores.

And they agreed.

So now, having spent two years in this town, Jo has been quite content watching heroes and villains go at it. I mean seriously, she knows that it’s serious business (tm), but it’s so entertaining!

Heroes are her role models, and luckily, that dream may not be too far away. Maybe it would be impossible if she was your average Jo (haha get it?), but she’s got quite the trick up her metaphorical sleeve. (Hint: Her brother has it too.)

Skills:
  • Reading- Damn that girl can read fast. Her abilities in transferring written word into a definitive picture with spatial reasoning in her head is crucial to her powers. Also it’s fun.
  • Baking cookies
  • Colour guard- Swing flags are her favourite. Those 6ft poles hurt.
  • The occasional cosplay- because dressing up like the Rose Lalonde is quite fun.
  • Agility- You try running, dancing, and twirling a giant flag in sync across a football field. Why did she think guard was fun again?
  • Key forging- Shhhhh. Don’t snitch.
Powers:
PHOTOKINETIC CONSTRUCTS
O
h boy. This is the ability to create things out of light. You can like, harden it and mild it. It’s like shapeshifting but with light. Need a sword? Bam. Glowing sword. Lantern? Hell yeah.

Living things are harder to create, but doable if she’s practiced it enough. Her favourite is making rats and sending them scurrying underneath ladies in the market. She can dissipate them at will so you don’t need to worry about a bunch of rodents running amok.

Equipment:

  • The holy messenger bag of legend- carries her books. If she needs to learn how to make things in a pinch, she’s got whole encyclopaedias to give instructions.
  • A change of clothes that are still civilian style. You really think she’s about to rip her Spirited Away dress? Hell no.
  • A switchblade. Why not.
Weaknesses:
  • Self preservation? Never heard of her.
  • Sensory overload- she can’t control it. She has to ride it out. Don’t recommend touching her in this state.
  • Not sure if this is a weakness but she hates little children. If they talk they a t h o t. Infants are cool though.
  • *Is in immediate danger* Lol Im a bad bithc you can’t kill me- *drops dead*
  • Social Anxiety and awkwardness

Name: Zoe Krag
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species: Human
Alignment: Hero
Appearance: Zoe's a tall gal, and after a few years fighting petty criminals she's gained some muscle and upper body strength. Her skin is brown, her hair a darker brown, and she has slanted, olive coloured eyes.
zoe_krag___super_hero_oc_by_coradal-dcmyycj.png
Personality: Zoe's a perky, energetic person. Not the smartest crayon in the box, nor the most observant when it comes to people, but her heart is in the right place. She wants to do good, particularly for the little people. Family is important to her, more so than anything else. Can be selfish and insensitive, and stubborn - just like her dad, her gran says. Not the moral, selfless hero people might expect, but there's very little that'll stop her from her goals - and helping little old ladies around, returning lost pets, offering aid in the aftermath of a battle between Good and Bad? Those are her goals.
History: At 9 years old, Zoe's father and her aunt died under mysterious circumstances. He had been raising her on his own - she didn't (and still doesn't) know her mom. When he died, she went to live with her gran, along with her little cousin Esther. Life went on. They struggled - a 55 year old trying to look after two little girls, her granddaughters, after losing her own children? Not easy. But they persevered. Nothing bad happened again, and after graduating high school Zoe cycled through a few minimum wage jobs. It wasn't until the night of her 21st birthday that something life changing happened.
Zoe came across a stranger in a dark alley getting their ass beat. So, she grabbed a garbage lid and a pipe and acted like the drunken maniac she was. The guy fled, and she was left to tend to the stranger, who'd been stabbed in the leg. She tried to help stem the bleeding until paramedics arrived, and, miraculously, the stranger lived.
And as it would turn out, the stranger was far more special than she ever thought to expect, and one who took life debts seriously. So Zoe found herself with a nano-suit, a contact in the hero-ing business (though said contact was very adamantly not a hero), and new goal in life. A few years later, after many, many fumbles and repairs to the suit, she's found herself to be a hero. Not one you'd see in battle against some genius villain on TV though, but that's okay with her - after all, she still has to go to work in the morning.
Skills:

- Staying calm under pressure; you wouldn't believe how freaky it sometimes might get while standing behind a cash register.
- Utilizing the suit; having lots of practice helps. She's found it enhances her... everything, really. Strength, agility, and resistance to bullets, knives, and brute force. It also allows her to do things that'd be impossible with out - chasing cars, surviving a fall from several stories up, and even leaping higher and further have never been easier.
- Hand-to-hand combat. Not pro by any means, but she's capable enough. She's even taking classes now.
Powers:
None whatsoever.
Equipment:
The suit, obviously. It's nano-tech, according to her friend, but Zoe doesn't really understand what that means, or how it works. It can disappear into the form of a cute belt, so she wears it everywhere. The suit is not an invincible thing though, and can sustain damage with enough force, hence the need for repairs. The suit itself is black, and form-fitting but not skintight. It covers her entire body, even her head, though she has some control over it and can remove it from certain areas should she need to.
A nano-shield; it forms on her left forearm, which gives her added protection should she ever need it. Mostly though she uses it to whack petty criminals over the head with. The shield itself isn't very big, and it's usually the thing she goes in for repairs for. It cannot be detached from the suit.
- When either equipment sustain enough damage, her suit won't full form around the areas directly hit, and her shield gradually weakens before it is disable until the function is repaired. She doesn't do the repairs herself.
Weaknesses:
She's pretty squishy without the suit.
She won't go in for the kill; sure, she's fought people which sometimes ended with her opponent dead, but she never goes into a confrontation with murderous intent. She's more of a disarm and put 'em to sleep kind of person. Maybe this isn't really a weakness, but any hesitation in battle can lead to death, especially if her enemy has no qualms about killing.

Name: Asaph Roberts
Alias: The Angler
"About a month into my crime fighting career, a bunch of drug smugglers spotted the glowing light of the staff in the dark, and thought I was some weird supernatural fishman. The name wasn't going away after the second month and it seemed like a good theme so I just decided to accept it. "
Age:
28
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual
Species: Human
Alignment: Hero
Appearance:
Regular appearance:
1537199699668.png
Costume:
The Angler costume is essentially a dark grey version of a firefighter's protective gear, with the protective mask modified to resemble an angler fish.
"I'm not stupid enough to use the staff without protective gear. Tight beam of heat energy like that'll really mess you up if you're not careful. You know, I actually started as a crime fighting firefighter... Kind of glad the angler gimmick came in or my old team would've noticed someone my height in the old kit attacking criminals by now."

Personality: Asaph is undeniably a very stubborn and determined man. If he wants to do something, very little will deter him from it. The thing Asaph is the most stubborn about is doing good for the sake of doing good. Preventing death and harm to innocent people, harming the "evil" and a due-process-skipping sense of vigilante justice are all points that Asaph is willing to suffer in order to uphold. This of course isn't to mean that he's an intense, sociopathically judgemental vigilante. The man's human after all, and a good humoured guy. He usually comes up with a decent joke every so often, usually generous and kind and he's usually got a smile on his face. He's got a stable job, a decent home and he enjoys his side project. And of course, like everyone else he has his obsessions.

As in he's an utter nerd when it comes to conspiracy theories. If a few corpses are found to have the life sucked out of them then it's connected to the false Gods who tried to form cults and religions before being killed by their own disappointed worshippers many centuries ago. Or if there's a few painkillers beside a massive crater in solid concrete then it's alien junkies who want to discover how to make painkillers in a vain effort to improve their terrible aim. Worst thing is, they're all after the Angler, at least, they are in Asaph's mind. The false Gods control the mafias and cartels, and want the man behind the angler mask and their family dead on the streets, the drugged up aliens are constantly watching him, just waiting for the day the drawers aren't barricading the door and the bookcases don't block the windows to grab him for experimentation.

History: Asaph originally found the staff that would soon become a quintessential part of his crime fighting identity four years ago. They were sent out to tackle a minor forest fire before it spread out of control. To the rest of Asaph's team the fire's cause seemed to be an abandoned campfire, but that didn't sit quite right with Asaph as the fire seemed dead before the fire even started, and there weren't even scorched remains of any tents or any camping equipment. This was interesting to Asaph, so the day after he went out and began having a look around the site. Beneath a pile of scorched wood and foliage, the curious firefighter discovered a small, capsule of some kind that contained a fossilised alien corpse clutching the staff.

The event that triggered Asaph's crime fighting project involved a mad amateur supervillain trying to freeze the apartment block Asaph was living in. Asaph only found out something was wrong when he was returning to his apartment after taking the trash out, and he noticed the floor outside a neighbour's door was glistening with ice, and cold air was billowing from the windows of the apartment. Asaph decided to don his old firefighting gear and bring the staff to his neighbour's door, only to narrowly avoid a giant icicle lance tear through the front door and dent the lift opposite. What ensued was a prolonged battle between Asaph and a lunatic calling himself the Icicle, ending in Icicle falling two storeys from his apartment's bathroom window onto a police car that had just pulled up. Asaph had anonymously saved his neighbours from getting the cold shoulder and this inspired him to continue his vigilante antics for the next three years, part-time hero and part time-firefighter.

Skills:
Competent with a pistol
Talented firefighter
One of the best stickfighters in the country, if not one of the best worldwide
Competent detective

Powers: None, although he is unnaturally resolute in the face of difficulty.

Equipment:
The Angler's Light: The Angler's light is a peculiar, alien staff made of a very odd material that seems to be unbreakable. Gunfire, ten minutes in an industrial kiln, pneumatic press, it's survived all without a single dent. It is a simple, silver grey staff with a small, almost completely flat button around halfway up the staff, and at the top a crystal rests in a concave shroud, the crystal itself is a brilliant, luminescent blue. When you press the button, a stream of energy erupts from the crystal that burns at roughly 1000 degrees Celsius, roughly the same temperature as a flamethrower.
"Best proof I have on me that aliens exist. It's made from some kind of metal that's not on the periodic table as far as I know, the crystal cannot be identified by any jeweller I've checked with and it is such an advanced tool that it has no visible fuel source... And it belonged to a dead alien who is still sitting in an escape pod a few miles into the woods. Also it makes for a really good fighting stick, seriously, it's beautifully balanced."

Weaknesses:
Without the staff or any other weapon, Asaph is just a human being.

Asaph is a very paranoid man, get him to think you can attack what he holds dear or that you can attack him directly and he'll stress himself out trying to get rid of a non-existent threat. And like most people, he doesn't perform as well when he's stressing and fussing over something else.

He places a lot of faith in the police and in other heroes, and Asaph isn't a forgiving man. If the local police turned out to be corrupted, or a hero messed up more then once, he'd certainly consider turning his back on them.

He is very much a paragon hero, doing good for the sake of goodness. Destroy his sense of right and wrong and he'll have no reason to fight anymore, effectively killing off the Angler and just leaving Asaph to just live a regular life. Change his definitions of good and bad and he'll continue to follow it relentlessly, even into becoming a problem for the police and other superheroes.

Name: Okami Nightshade
Age:
19
Gender:
Male
Sexuality:
Asexual
Species:
Human
Alignment:
Villain, technically, but everybody thinks that they're a hero
Appearance:

1537205438693.png

1537207088886.png
Personality:
Okami has a very short fuse, losing temper easily, and is hella impulsive. While he may appear to not be thinking things through, he can actually be pretty strategic if he's really dedicated to getting something done. He can lack focus sometimes, getting bored of an objective pretty easily and abandoning it for a different task.
History:

Life has never been that odd for Okami, even when he had his powers. One day he realised that there was a bit of an oversaturation of heroes, and it was getting really hard to keep track of all of them, which annoyed Okami very much. He decided to become a villain for no real reason other than to balance the teams, but that's when he discovered the major weakness of his power that was about to become a real pain the backside. No matter how hard he tried to do villainous acts, the hand of fate would screw him over and make him accidentally do heroic acts instead. He still maintains a desire to be a villain, but his track record has shown purely heroic actions and thus everybody believes that he is a hero. He hasn't given up, though.
Skills:

Cosplay
Boxing
Firearms usage
DIY
Pie making
Powers:

Hakai Ergonkinesis- Generate and manipulate destructive energy, manifesting in the form of green light. It can be shot out in pulses, used to create weapon constructs, or just flooded around a target to cause swift destruction of whatever it touches.
Equipment:

Pumpkin helmet- gives as much protection as a motorcycle helmet
FN P90
XDm 9mm handgun
Weaknesses:

His power is much less effective against living beings, only able to inflict flesh wounds unless it's concentrated on the target for a while (two turns IRP).
Too much power output without paying attention may cause him to slip up and accidentally hurt himself with it.
It is physically impossible for him to commit a villainous act. No matter how hard he tries, fortune will manipulate events to make his attempt accidentally turn into a heroic act.

Noticed there wasn't a crimelord, so I decided to make one.

Name: Rubin Corbitt
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Species: Human
Alignment: Villain
Appearance:
bdb233d8-af00-415c-84f8-0cec926d57df-jpeg.483306

He's 4'6" and rather skinny.
Thanks KindOfStupid KindOfStupid for the picture!
Personality: Rubin is mostly what you'd expect from a 12 year old crime lord. He is cold and calculating and ruthless, willing to do close to anything to further his goals. But that's actually the least interesting part about him.
Rubin views what he's doing as right. He is a realist. He sees the world and believes that to make it safer for the little people, you must be cutthroat. He rules his organization this way. He robs rich organizations primarily and runs black markets, but he tries to avoid anything that will directly harm the poor. In this way, he thinks of himself as a Robin Hood.
Furthermore, he has a deep sense of respect for people who are willing to fight for what they believe in, leaving him with no respect for any of his own thugs, as they only fight for the pay he offers them.
He does feel love though. He keeps his parents around him and cares for them deeply. He also is a devout believer in order, trying to keep everything in line as it should be.
History: Rubin grew up in a very poor district of the city. But as he was getting older, he started to understand it all, understand far more than a mere boy should be able to. He saw patterns. He realized how people work. He realized that all the crime in the city was inevitable. It was always gonna happen, no matter who was on top. And if it was truly necessary for crime to exist, why shouldn't he lead it? He could make the city safer. True, it would be safer in a roundabout and strange way, but he could do it. He could be a hero for Sherwood Shores.
It was a long, two year journey to where he is now, sitting on top of one of Sherwood Shores' largest criminal organizations. But he doesn't plan on ending it there. He won't rest until he controls the entire city.
Skills: People manipulation. He understands how people work and how to get them on his side. That's truly his greatest skill.
Besides that, he's a brilliant strategist and planner, and knows how to investigate and disassemble a situation, making him hard to catch off guard.
Powers: Absolute bloody genius. Nothing more, nothing less.
Equipment: A pair of stylish black glasses and, as a tool of desperation, a handgun. If over a million dollars and a large-scale criminal organization count, then they're here too.
His organization is called the Hand Of Order.
Weaknesses: The obvious one is that he's 12 years old, but that usually doesn't matter because of his tendency to only come out when he knows he can safely. His bigger weakness is his tendency to overlook people he thinks of as weak, believing that they can't possibly combat him or be a threat. So if you fail against him once, this actually makes you much more likely to defeat him another time.

THE ZOO CREW

Name(s): Bobby Burke "Pistol Shrimp"
Veronica "Vicky" Strong. "Dart Frog"
Hector Wiles. "Eel"
Rob Regents. "Beetle"

Age: They're all in their twenties.

Gender: Bobby:Male.
Vicky:Female
Hector:Male
Rob:Male.

Sexuality: Straight as a group.

Species: Ani/Humans

Alignment: Villains

Appearance:

Bobby: Bobby.jpg

Vicky: Vicky.jpg

Hector: Hector.jpg

Rob: Rob.jpg

Personality:

Bobby: The De Facto leader of the Zoo Crew is Bobby Burke. He has a bit of an explosive temper when he loses his cool, until that point he can even be a voice of reason among the insanity and angst of the group. Saying that they are upstanding gentlemen, and freedom fighters.

Vicky: Vicky is aware of how dangerous she is. How she can never be accepted into regular society. Since the incident she has become a sadistic killer, who enjoys watching the pain of the normals who fear her. If the world thinks she's a monster why shouldn't she be.

Hector: Hector is the residant smartass of the Zoo Crew always waiting for a chance to talk down to and insult someone. He is very happy to simply cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. And he is an anarchist at heart.

Rob: Rob is mostly muscle and very little brainpower. He is a sucker for anything cute and fluffy, and has a punch first ask questions later attitude. Although he is very loyal to Bobby, and even more so to the Boss. Basically if you mess with the Zoo Crew this Strong Man will crack your skull like an egg.

History: The Zoo Crew were criminals even before they met. Although they weren't big names, they were dime a dozen pondscum thugs, who were..um..selected for militaristic tests. These tests had a few weird effects on them. Most test subjects didn't make it through, hence the reason for incarcerated subjects who really didn't have lives on the outsides. Each of them were given different powers. They were then slated to be moved to a more secure facility. On the way the convoy was hijacked by a Mafia lord. Who saw use for their specific... Talents. They were turned into his strike team. Who were used for the more tedious tasks. Mostly because the boss was disappointed by their "wasted potential". He sent them to a small coastal town to secure it for Cleansing.

Skills:

-Safe Cracking
-Fighting dirty
-Infiltration
-Demolition
-Theivery
-Extortion
-Bounty Hunting

Powers:

Bobby: Bobby Burke's powers are strange ones by snapping his fingers, or flicking to create friction he can superheat the air and generate energy blasts which a direct hit from can strip an unprotected human to the bone. The force exerted by these blasts can rip doors off of their hinges, and destroy walls by collapsing. Them.

Vicky: Vicky's ability is equal part power as curse. Her body is constantly generating and dripping an acidic poison that is strong enough to put down an elephant.

Hector: Hector's power is that he is always radiating electricity. Like a real electric eel there is a bit of a field of electricity that is surrounding him at all times. Unlike a real electric eel he can focus and toss electricity to overload, and short out certain technology.

Rob: Rob was given the proportionate strength of a dung beetle. Which pound for pound is a very strong animal. He can lift 400 times his own body weight. Rob's skin is also incredibly tough.

Equipment: The Zoo Crew does not use Equipment. Two of them physically cannot hold weapons, the other two have no need for them.

Weaknesses:

Bobby: If Bobby can't generate friction with his fingers than he will be unable to conjure up his blast.

Vicky: Vicky is a mortal human. Although melee weapons like swords and knives will melt on her skin, bullets from guns can kill her with enough concentration. Vicky's main goal in life is a cure, if she is offered that than she'll turn on her former allies in hopes of being normal again.

Hector: Hector's main weakness is the weakness of most other electric mased heroes and villains. His powers cannot get through insulators.

Rob: Rob is quite frankly not very bright. He can be quite easily outsmarted. He also doesn't have a lot of fighting skill seeing as he usually doesn't need any to get the job done. Rob's skin may be tough but enough of a beating will not him out.

(Meet the crew).
