Fandom Shadowhunters

Rose jumped when the sounds finally hit her the wall popping up infront of her. she blinked curiously watching the demons die grinning. Then what happened processed and she turned around looking at the person, she could smell the demon scent. she narrowed her eyes calling after him ready to draw her blades "Hey! why did you save me?" she raised a brow. @Demonhunter

Isroh froze as soon as he heard blades. He rest a hand on his own. Not fully trusting a shadowhunter not to go slash happy on him. He turned slowly, making eye contact for a mere second. "Why wouldn't I? I mean I know shadow hunters and demons are supposed to hate each other, but I just don't feel that." Isroh shrugged. He really didn't hate the shadow hunters. He had no reason to. In fact he liked the idea of keeping the innocent humans alive. He just wanted peace for once. "I don't want to fight, okay? I just want to maybe talk?" Isroh offered, letting the spell that made him appear human slip while disguising himself from human eyes. Black horns spiraled upwards and a whip-like tail lashed around he bind him. He looked deadly handsome with a very dark aura surrounding him.... Although he was a demon, he wasn't wreaking of evil though.

@trix

Rose narrowed her eyes, she knew this was probably a good idea and James would be furious if he found out. There was something different about this demon, he didn't seem as evil as most. And she could relate to how he felt. She let the blades disappear as quickly as they had appeared re attaching them to her belt relaxing the slightest bit. She was beautiful as most shadowhunters were with her curly blonde hair and bright eyes. She looked him over eyes narrowed "I don't want to fight either...." he hadn't tried to kill her so he couldn't be that bad. She blinked curiously at his transformation "You seem different..." @Demonhunter

Different? Well he was different. "Because I wasn't born a demon. I was made one. I have no interest in normal mundanes. Only 5 and a warlock. I need information of a cult that claims to cleanse sins though human sacrifice." Isroh spilled the beans. He knew shadow hunters were information hoarders, perhaps if he made at least a slight connection to one, he could get the information he needed to come closer to ascension and to end the pain of being a demon.

Isroh cracked a smiled, sharp teeth showing behind his lips. "I'm not supposed to be a demon." @trix

Rose looked thoughtful putting her hands in her pockets "Well that makes sense I guess...." she had heard rumours about the cult she shrugged "If I knew anything I would tell you, I've only heard whispers here and there about them" she shrugged sheepishly. She watched him carefully tentatively taking a few steps towards him "I may have an idea of a possible place to find them though..." @Demonhunter

Isroh tensed slightly when Rose stepped tward him. Shadow hunters were dangerous company to keep, especially when they asked a demon to follow them anywhere. He had two options. Trust her and possibly get the information he needed and risk being killed, or walk away and never know if she could have helped. It took a minute of contemplation, but he decided that redemption was worth the risk.

"Right, lead the way, miss. I'll follow." Isroh nodded nervously, still wearily of trusting demon hunters.

@trix

Rose nodded simply keeping her hands in her pockets walking past him hair flowing behind her. She flicked her bangs out of her eyes and without looking at him asked "So why do you want to find them?" There was no emotion in her voice and she kept her eyes trained forward. She glanced at him briefly, staying on guard.

@Demonhunter

Isroh thought for a minute. He knew shadowhunter a were supposed to protect mundanes, but there people killed him in cold blood! And they knew all about the shadow world thanks to their warlock priest. "What they did to turn me into a demon can be reversed if I take the lives of those who killed me. I know it sounds bad, and I know killing mundanes is a big no-no, but being a demon hurts. Especially when you've done no wrong." Isroh was being honest, but he didn't know how a shadowhunter would see it. "Think about every day, every movement burns like fire. And your always tired. I was not meant to be a demon." Isroh looked nervous, unsure if she would turn on him because he had plans to kill 5 rather dangerous mundanes.

@trix

Rose nodded simply, she knew there were people who wanted to increase the amount of demons in the world. Humans with the sight who thought they were doing the right thing. She didn't 100% agree with killing them but was not opposed to it either. She chewed on her bottom lip thoughtfully "so what will happen after you kill them?" She asked curiously. Would be become a mundane? @Demonhunter

Isroh relaxed a bit more as she seemed accepting of his plan. "Well, they are the anchor that keeps me in hell. With them gone and burning where they should be, I'll be let free for afterlife." Isroh really didn't know what happened after death for those who had done no wrong, but anything was better than this hell he'd been shoved into. He'd rather cease existence than work through every day in pain.

"I don't want to have to kill them. But I have to." He then thought of somthing.

"Your shadowhunter friends aren't around are they? I don't want to get you into trouble."

Rose looked at his sideway "how do you know for sure it would work?" Mundanes who wanted to make demons were still mundanes so she had a certain amount of duty to protect them. But if it would save him, she wasn't opposed just wanted to know the facts. They were now in the industrial outskirts of the city abandoned factories scattered around some crumbling to the ground. Her eyes glinted, this demon could attack her whenever he pleased. @Demonhunter

"I found a warlock who knew of the spell. Aparently it's forbidden." The warlock who had helped him was a fairly nice woman, known as the dragon lady. She often sold her words of wisdom and magic, but on occasion she'd take on a special case in echange for small favors like babysitting her little hellion babies. "Silithia knew of the spell, but she couldn't help me in terms of an identity. The warlock who slaughtered me was strong as hell, she said he may even be a demon himself."

Isroh looked around at the surroundings. "Well you sure picked a creepy place to go."

She nodded taking in the information, the name sounded familiar but she wasn't sure why. She slowed her pace as they reached a particular factory "well generally people doing creepy things go creepy place" she raised a brow at him. She looked at the factory "there's been rumours of groups of mundanes meeting here and summoning demons...." She wasn't sure if it was the same group or not.

@Demonhunter

Isroh thoughts for a moment. "Summoning demons? Yikes. I've never been summoned. Frankly I kind of don't want to be." Isroh rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Well, lead the way. I'll have your back if any nasty creepies jump out at ya." Isroh laughed. He was telling the truth, he would defend her if need arose, but he thought it'd be fun to give a shadowhunter the heebie jeebies.

@trix

Rose rolled her eyes at him before walking into the side of the building keeping her steps quiet. She looked around scanning the shadows. She could hear faint murmurs in the distance. She looked at him and whispered "be careful" @Demonhunter

"You worry about yourself." Isroh whispered back as he followed close behind, keeping an eye out. Everything was strange and he could hear voices well enough to understand, but he didn't recognize any of them."this isn't any of them." Isroh was blindfolded when his was killed, but he could distinctly remember the voices.

Rose kept slowly making her way to the voices "There could be more than just the ones you know..." Suddenly another voice popped up, a woman, stronger and more powerful than the rest. She looked at him and mouthed Do you recognise the voice? She peered around the corner seeing a group of mundanes around a circle that was starting to glow. @Demonhunter

Isroh listened carfully. His heart sank. No. It was in a church, I remember being dragged between pews. I was tied behind a alter. Isroh was disappointed until one suddenly spoke up and sounded familiar.

"That's one." He whispered, pointing out a tall skinny guy with glasses.

Charles Lovelace

Charles moseyed down one of the many hallways of the New York institute. He was following leisurely after Lilli; who was walking a few meters ahead of him. The younger Shadowhunter was twirling her fingers, moving her hands in the way she would wield her scythe; gracefully, and full of skill. He eyed her as she swiveled; her hair splaying out as she did so; her shadow fight appearing as if it were kind of elegant dance.

Charles couldn't deny that he adored her. He admired her; courage, perseverance and strength- despite her background; however that didn't deny her the title of being one of the most
irritating bundles of enthusiasm he had ever encountered.

"Hey, watch the Vase, Lil." He warned in a nonchalant tone. He was now noticing her flaws in the movements. She was moving too brashly, almost knocking over an 100 year old vase with a single swipe of the arm. "What are we doing just wandering around anyway?" He quirked a brow, continuing to follow the unresponsive female; "Why don't we head to the kitchen? I thought I heard someone yell something about 'food', and even you like food, right?"

His question was met with a quick glance back from Lilli; though her expression was obviously saying that she did not approve. Her eyes were like daggers, yet her bottom lip was stuck out to maintain a sense of 'innocence.' Charles groaned, looking up at the decorated ceiling and rubbing the back of his neck.
"If the only reason we are traipsing around the halls like a pair of aimless idiots is because you want to hang out; I suggest you think of something else. Something that involves talking with other people? Not just me. Like, I know I'm great, but come on."

Lilli Kaidou

Lilli could not help but to let a giggle escape her lips. "'I know I'm great', how arrogant can you get?" The girl was aware of his last line obviously being a joke; but sometimes, you could never tell with Charlie, he's the spontaneous kind. "And as far as food goes, I'm not yet hungry." She shrugged, spinning around to face; who she would consider, her best friend. "And I'm sorry Charlie, alright?" She raised her arms in a similar fashion that someone would surrender to a gun. "I will talk to someone else, I promise." She assured in honesty; honesty being the only policy for someone of faerie blood.

Lilli then jumped in the slightest after hearing a loud knock at the entrance to the Institute. She glanced towards the door, and then back to Charlie; suddenly narrowing her eyes.
"Is the reason you have been maddening me about all this 'find some other friends' business because of the influx of newly recruited Shadowhunters- ?" Lilli paused, astonished with her ability to verbalize such a sentence. It may not be impressive to some, however she has been improving on her English at a faster pace recently.

"So- If that's the case," She began, "I'll go Introduce myself right now!" Lilli stated confidently; however was in truth rather nervous. She had never felt comfortable around anyone but Charlie; though she had to admit it, he probably thought she was too clingy. "Just watch me." The Shadowhunter approached the large door, sensing Charlie stifling a laugh as she did so. Regardless, she swung it open, revealing a blonde girl on the other side ; "Oh! uh, h-hey." She immediately stuttered on her English; her nerves overwhelming her.

@NightFlame

Jasmine stared dully at the door. She had rung the bell only once and she hadn't been waiting that long, but she never had that kind of patience. A flaming heat surrounded the blonde despite the cold breeze and her hair tied up into a massy bun. She had developed a strange body heat that is higher than the usual. Jasmine tapped her foot impatiently. She had only been waiting for 2 minutes but it felt like an hour to her. Jasmine heard a strange rumbling. She couldn't quite make it out but it sounded like a man's voice, followed soon by a girl's. Jasmine let out a grumble with an attribute of a growl. She was about to press the doorbell once again when the door flew open. A girl had opened the door as she greeted her, the nerves obviously overwhelming the said person. Jasmine smirked with amusement. "A new princess, hm?" Jasmine raised a brow and shrugged. The girl looked "not-mundane" enough for her to recognize that she was a shadowhunter, although her scent was mixed with something different. Noticing a guy behind the girl, more amusement was added to Jasmine. "A prince charming as well I see.." Jasmine sent an amused smile, not a genuine one though. "Looks like we're complete for a fairy tale" Jasmine laughed a little, turning to her smirk once again. "Hey"

(Oh, by the way, Jasmine isn't new) @mxlly

"Princess?" Lilli blinked and clumsily side-stepped out of the entrance way. Her blood was rushing to her pointed ears, creating a lighter pink pigment within them. The girl who had been waiting behind the door had an assertive aura, which Lilli found rather intimidating; causing her to blank on what the word 'Princess' meant. Feeling apprehensive, she helplessly glanced over at Charles. The boy, clearly understanding her panic, calmly mouthed the word 'Gong-zhu' which resulted in some kind of relief. Princess, right. Though upon her sudden realization, also arose confusion; New Princess? Maybe it was just the stranger's humor; but Lilli had to assume that this girl was already part of the Institute, before Charles and herself had even arrived.

Charles Lovelace

After assisting Lilli in understanding what had been said; Charles returned his attention the blonde girl. He strolled closer to the open entrance of the institute, bringing his arms up to cross over his chest. "Prince Charming?" The Shadowhunter repeated and casually lent against the door frame, amused by the title he had been given. He couldn't help but smirk; "If we're so complete for a fairy tale, who might you be?" The girl's choice of wording had indicated that she wasn't new; yet he had never seen her. This may have been due to the fact that he had been spending all his time with Lilli since they got here; training, eating, some more training. Of course didn't mind it too much, he loved her. At the thought, Charles gazed over Lilli, who was meekly beckoning for the other girl to enter after she had recovered from her sudden shock. The male Shadowhunter smiled fondly, and then turned his attention back to the blonde. The first thing he had noticed was her striking emerald eyes, vivid like the gems; sparked by her seemingly bold attitude. Her strong impression made him question why they hadn't crossed paths previously.

(Okay, cool c:
@NightFlame )

The girl's clumsiness did no better than Jasmine's amusement. Her expression mused Jasmine to an extent. Noticing her pointed ears go pink, she raised a curious brow. "A halfling? Thats something" Muttering under her breath, Jasmine questioned if they heard her. The blonde tried to recognize the girl yet she never seemed to be familiar. Looking over to the boy, neither did he, the words he had mouthed were strange to the blonde as well. Jasmine had been here long enough to recognize new ones to not so much. She could tell that they have been here for a while. Blinking at the boy's reply, her smirk had found its way to her face once again. "Its not my fairy tale, why should I decide?" Jasmine retorted playfully. She entered the house, sending a convincing smile to the girl. Studying the two, she noticed the girl had an asian feeling, whilst the boy was obviously english. "So, blondie and halfling, I take it your new here?" Jasmine more like stated than asked, but nonetheless, she made the ending questioning. Smirking at her newfound nicknames, she turned to the tw and crossed her arms. She found the pair somewhat amusing to her humor, the halfling at least. The boy, somehow, makes her curious. Jasmine shrugged her jacket off, revealing a bunch of scars on her arms. This seemed fun to her, in a way.

("It's not my fairy tale, why should I decide?")

Charles would be lying to himself if he said he hadn't expected her to have such a bite. She had an attitude for sure, despite how playful she sounded; though he wasn't certain whether that would be a good or a bad thing. The Shadowhunter closed the door after the girl entered, trying to suppress the smile on his lips as he did so- she certainly seemed captivating on first impression.

Charles then proceeded to walk over to Lilli, standing just behind her. He playfully rested his elbow on her head; that was until she pushed it off in clear frustration, however.

("So Blondie and Halfling, I take it you're new here?")

Whilst he pondered on what would be described as 'new', the girl had taken her jacket off; revealing a various array of scars on her skin. Charles had a few; though nothing of that extent. It could've been caused by the fact that he rarely ever fought alone; having four siblings who bathed in the blood of demons for fun guaranteed that- but Charles could fight; though he preferred to refrain from doing so. If he weren't in New York where demons were now running rampant he'd be back in London; preferably attending a mundane university and straying far from this demon business. But Lilli had brought him here; and he wasn't going to leave her, especially not until Yama; the greater Demon, had been slain. However he couldn't help but romanticize the idea of living as a mundane; no matter how boring it was perceived as.

Lilli Kaidou

Returning the girl's somewhat reassuring smile, Lilli quelled her last few nerves; Stupid. Why do you have to be such a nervous wreck? She sighed; mentally scolding herself as she moved away from the entrance. She stood just in front of Charles. Lilli was then subsequently taken aback; but not by her revealed scars, but by the names that she had spoken; Blondie and Halfling. The nickname 'Blondie' failed surprise her; when she lived with the Lovelace's in England, they all had the same soft blonde hair, almost like a sheep's fleece. However her surprise had stemmed from the term 'Halfing', as sometimes Lilli forgot about her ears that were shaped as though she was one of the fair folk. It wasn't embarrassing, but it did make her question whether she was entirely welcome. Occasionally, she didn't feel as though she fit in with the Shadowhunter crowd.

After being asked the question, Lilli glanced up at Charles and noticed he had zoned out momentarily. She then took the courtesy of answering;
"Um, Yes? We've been here for around a month, I think...sometimes I lose track of time." She smiled sheepishly; was she supposed to now introduce herself? or was Blondie and Halfling substantial? "I'm Luli Kaidou, by the way...or Lilli." She said, offering for the other girl to use her westernized name that was used more commonly than Luli; which was only spoken when Charlie was serious about something, "-And this is Charles Lovelace." She bumped the side of her hip against his hip as a means of communicating the words; Why aren't you saying anything?
