Fandom Shadowhunters

"You wont get in trouble for a demon attack. stay hidden, im going to go beat some information out of this f*cker." Isroh growled as vines grew over the building. he lept down onto the factory floor. the men turned to fight him, but their weapons were caught in the thicket of vines and soon all were caccooned in the flowers... but the vines had no thorns so they wouldn't be harmed. he went to the man he wanted.

"Remember me?" Isroh asked as the vines constricted around him.

"N-no! what the hell, who are you!?"

"Im going to tell you a little story to jog your memory. A boy sold to you in auction. dragged through your church, chained up and beaten for three hours. painted up like a Picasso painting and forced to drown in his own blood for 3 hours. ring a bell?"

@trix

the man was speechless.

"No... no no. we kill you. theres no coming back. you cant just come back, we killed you."

"I need information.I'll be taking this." Isroh took the man's cellphone and began flipping through the photos... coming across a picture of a man he recognized... the man who'd blindfolded him in the first place. he knew that face anywhere. it was the last face he saw before death.

Isroh turned, snapping his fingers. the vines constricted on the man, growing thorns and slashing him to pieces and eventually killing him while the vines ensnaring the other men released their capataves. he lept up back where the shadow hunter was. "I cant thank you enough. one down. 5 more. I... you want to go to lunch or something? ill pay its the least I can do."

Jasmine studied the two persons, uh, beings with great focus. This was what she usually did, to people, uh, beings, who intrigued her, or at least interested her even in a small bit. Blondie, put his elbow on Halfling's head, in which she did not obviously take pleasure. Jasmine chuckled slightly, seeing the act as a childish one. The Halfling's pink ears seemed to have returned to its normal form, her nervousness must have died down. It had been a power of her, to persuade people. The adults said it ran in her blood, first from her grandfather. Her father, had chosen to pick the Wayland because it was his official name, thats what he said at least. She knew more than that, her dad had despised Valentine, yet he could not avoid this ability of his. The war. Jasmine's thoughts had gone off course stopping at the thought of the Fae. Now that she did think about it, only the Fae had ears like that, she did know that she was a halfling, but not a Fae one. Blinking, Jasmine took a step back look at the pair. The two looked to be a good one. She could imagine The blond teasing the faerie whilst she blushed madly. A perfect pair. Jasmine could only gurgle in disgust. She never had a thing for happy endings, nor did she hate them. It was just, she found them too easy. Jasmine's train of thought was broken by the sudden answer of the Fae. The introductions seemed fairly normal to her. A month? Jasmine's eyes widened a little in realization. She had been in Idris for the month, some stupid council meeting occurred. The Fae shifted a bit to the side, purposely bumping to Charles, or as Jasmine liked to call, Blondie. "Jas, Jas Wayland." Jasmine shrugged. She didn't tell people her real name, only the ones she considered her family would know her real name. Looking at the blonde then the halfling, "No wonder I haven't seen you.... I was in Idris...." Jasmine muttered lowly, it could have been heard if people we're listening. Returning to her smirk, Jasmine chuckled. "Are you on base 3 already?"

Rose watched in awe demon magic was so powerful. She stood straight when he returned and nodded "um s-sure?" She was suprised by his offer. @Demonhunter

Lilli Kaidou

Jas Wayland. The last name sounded vaguely familiar; maybe she has heard it whispered throughout the halls of the Institute; it was rather likely, considering how much eavesdropping she participated in. Lilli was naturally curious, however preferred to listen to conversations rather than strike one up herself; it was irritating not feeling comfortable around most others, but she couldn't help it- at least not without a change in attitude. A moment before Lilli was about to comment on Idris; a place which she could barely remember- Jas asked another question; one that took her a while to wrap her mind around. "Base three-?" She furrowed her brows, puzzled by it. She then proceeded to look up at Charlie, who had obviously understood what the girl had meant due to the laugh he was so blatantly trying to hold in. Lilli watched as he put his hand to his forehead, shaking his head as if to say; I knew this would happen. But what had she meant? Blinking, Lilli frowned, however only a split second before she blushed a bright pink; this time it wasn't just her ears. "Oh! No no, I think you are mistaken!" She denied the idea hastily; third base with Charlie? No- no way! The Shadowhunter immediately stepped back from Charlie and Jas upon realizing her embarrassment hadn't ended after her flawed English incident.

Charles Lovelace

Charles had abandoned his thoughts about the desired mundane life after Lilli had bumped him on the hip. He returned to listening to the conversation between her and the blonde girl, just in time to learn that her name was Jas Wayland, and he couldn't help but assume that Jas was short for Jasmine. The casual conversation between the girl's was short lived however, after Jas decided to ask that one very risque question: ("Are you on base 3 already?"), Charles was stunned by how forward she was; though his shock soon turned into amusement, resulting in a grin forming on his lips. It had to have been assumed sooner or later; the pair were close, like brother and sister, though appeared nothing alike so it wasn't uncommon that their playful pestering could be interpreted as flirting- but he didn't see Lilli like that, not even once; besides, if he had, she was too good for him anyway. Looking over at his best friend, who had only just understood due to her 'innocent' mind; he burst into the laughter he was trying so hard to hold in. Lilli had begun to try her best to deny it and was being adorable as always.
"Nah, we're not like that." Charles turned to look at Jas as he gestured from the slightly distressed Lilli to himself. His laughter began to die down. "She's my best friend, aren't you Lil?" He smirked and looked over at the younger one of the pair who appeared to feel sick just from thinking about them being romantically involved. Honestly, the little oddity felt like family to him.

Jasmine laughed with Charles with the innocent look on the Fae's face. Even more when she realized it. The pink blush on her face mused Jasmine even more. Her denial was to be expected at least. Leaving her laughter with a chuckle Jasmine smirked leaned against the wall. The innocence and ignorance of Lili was amusing to say the least. Jasmine had found fun with teasing people like that. With the reply of the blonde, Jasmine frowned slightly. She was as bit disappointed, she expected him to tease her more. Shrugging carelessly, Jasmine shoved her hands into her pockets. "If you say so, but you never know" Listening to herself, she sounded pretty convincing. It should've been enough. Letting a smirk out, she walked down the hallway dramatically. "Well, see you guys around... Please don't make out there.." Jasmine laughed quitely as she teased. She didn't need to look back to know that the halfling was blushing. She raised her hand waving goodbye and headed towards the elevator. Sure is a strange pair. Arriving at the elevator, she entered inside swiftly. The ride was short. As she made it through the maze of hallways. She arrived at the music room, whereas there was a grand piano and all sorts of instruments. She headed.for the piano. She sniffed the air, taking in the quiet atmosphere. She loved this smell. It was calm, quiet and safe. Sitting down on the bench, Jasmine put her hands on the keys, familiarizing her fingers with keys she was already used to. As she took a deep breath, Jasmine started moving her fingers across the keys. Music started to play, the sound filling the quiet air. Jasmine's fingers worked like magic, hitting every note right. The flow of music was flawless. Jasmine, as a child, loved this. This was one of her rare bindings with her family.

Lilli Kaidou

("If you say so, but you never know.")

Lilli hastily shook her head, not being able to deny the other girls implications fast enough. However despite her refusal, she had once developed a mild crush on Charlie; though it was one of those 'I think you're cute', slight crushes that lasted only for the week that she had first met him; Lilli had been ten at the time- so it had meant nothing. She had been too young to understand the difference between finding someone visually appealing and
actually loving them like that. The Shadowhunter now found it strange that she once had such feelings; looking at Charlie now, all she saw was someone that could be her annoying older brother.

("Well, see you guys around... Please don't make out there..")

Lilli's cheeks once again flushed. Jas had been one hundred percent successful in making her feel awkward; though Charlie seemed less than fazed by the comments made.
"Trust me, you don't need to worry about that!" She called after Jas as the girl left. Sighing, Lilli tousled her hair, regaining her composure before wandering up to Charlie; who still had a cheeky smile on his face. She frowned "See," Lilli began, jabbing the tall boy on the chest with her finger; "This, Is what happens when I talk to people."

Charles Lovelace

Charles was slightly disappointed to see the girl leave. Jas was- he couldn't yet explain it, nor properly string it into words; though it might go something along the lines of confident and self assured, with an inking of something else behind that mischievous smile. Her comments about Lilli and himself were entertaining, but far from the truth. Lilli was his basically his family, closer to him than the people related to him by blood at least. Despite her being seventeen, she was still a child to him; the same child he'd comforted when he met her sobbing her eyes out after leaving her home in Taipei.

(
"This, Is what happens when I talk to people.") Charlie sighed at Lilli's comment, though still retained his amused smile; "by the Angel, Lilli." He began, ruffling her hair, "It wasn't that bad...and I don't know about you, but I think I'll go find out if someone's making something to eat in the kitchen, If not, I'll make something myself." He shrugged; having quickly abandoned the topic of them being a pair. Usually he'd go onto tease her about most things- but not about that, he didn't want her feeling so uncomfortable. Charles grinned as Lilli pouted, "Hey, If you see someone you want to hide from, just run to your room-" He smirked, taking a few steps back, "- you chicken." He teased, only a moment before turning on his heel and walking away.

(I AM ENTIRELY HOPELESS... well... imma follow you guz XP)

Jasmine sighed and stood from the bench. A loud grumble echoed in around the room, coming from none other than her stomach. "Yeah, yeah.." Jasmine grumbled to nobody. She walked towards the door and left the place. The cold air hit here face again as she entered the hallways. Heading for the kitchen, Jasmine stretched her arms and let out a loud yawn. She let her thoughts wander around, scattering all over the place. Shoving her hands into her pockets, she began to him a random tune. Her steps clicked in the hallway, each one making an echo. A few minutes have passed and she was in front of the kitchen, the smell of food seething from the room. She could hear muffled voices. Shrugging, she put her hand on the door knob and opened it, meeting a warm air filled with tthe smell if food. @mxlly @trix @sprouhtt @Nylana @trundle

(P.S idk who's in the kitchen anymore... sowey)

Isroh offered his hand to the shadow hunter, unsure of if she would take it or not. She knew shadow hunters REALLY disliked demons so he fully understood if she refused any physical contact. "I know a nice Italian place down town with the best pizza ever. I-I think I might have been Italian when I lived. It'd make sense because I have a weakness for the stuff."
