Seven Minutes in Heaven [Inactive]

Marlon would turn around, of course, to see what was going on inside; there were only a couple people who were outside standing with him, smoking as well. This is when Marlon noticed a pair of eyes that had been watching him - well, that was, he noticed as the girl looked away. He wasn't so sure what it was about. Two new girls had apparently made their way in late. It probably would be like that all throughout the night. The only reason the young man noticed, was because of the slamming that came with closing those front doors.

After finishing, Marlon would walk inside. He recognized the girl named Constance, though he wasn't absolutely sure from where. Fingers would wrap around the fridge's freezer handle, before opening it up. He placed both of his bottles of whiskey in there, out of habit. Then he stood there, thought for a minute, and pulled them out. They were cold before he brought them, he just figured now was a good time as any to gather some people up. But first, he was going to talk to a little someone.

He placed both of the bottles down on the table in the middle of the room, grabbing a paper cup and pouring himself a shot. Considering there wasn't a whole bunch of glass for everone to use, this was obviously the smarter decision. He took the shot after cocking his head back, before parting his lips to speak to Constance, who was right beside him. He pointed to the bottles on the table.
"Me and you are going to have a little talk once we're done with this."

"Shots! Let's go, people, we didn't come here to flirt with each other sober!" He extended his arms out to his sides, with a small shrug, trying to capture everyone's attention - needless to say, it was something that he was good at it. "It ain't gonna drink itself!"

Siraa slowly spun around in the bar stool when he heard the sudden announcement, seeing that it was Marlon. He had also noticed a girl standing next to him and figured she was one of his many admirers. Blue eyes swept across the counter, finding two bottles in front of Marlon, a small smirk appearing on his lips. He didn't dare open his mouth to speak though, his sarcasm threatening to get the worst of him. Especially when there are glass bottles around, been down that road and didn't want to go back so he simply took another swig of his beer that sat in front of him.

Nessie had walked into the kitchen just as Marlon pulled out the bottle of whiskey. She grabbed a cup and nudged Marlon to pour her a shot. It wasn't in her nature to get drunk, but there was something about tonight that made Nessie want to get wasted. "SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS!" Nessie began chanting as several people pulled in and began to shout along with her.

Constance stared at Marlon in shock. Did this just happen? Did the love of my life just speak to me? She already had a cup in hand so she drowned it and ran away to the living room embarrassed and excited.

A familiar song popped into Siraa's head when he heard Nessie begin chanting, making him laugh a little. He simply picked up a cup and held it out to Marlon across the counter, nodding his head in thanks when it was filled. Downing it quickly he remembered how much it loved the way it hit the back of his throat, not having drank for a while. Finally, he felt like this party was getting started.

Constance had just ran away. Nice. Figuring he had been a bit more smoother than that, he smiled when Nessie came walking up. Flashing off those pearly whites of his, he parted his lips to speak when she nudged him. "Wassup, boo? You ready?" With a bunch of cups being held toward his face, Marlon performed something he liked to call a shot-tax. What was it? Well, it would only take a couple of seconds for Marlon to show off just how much he enjoyed drinking.

He poured a shot into Nessie's cup, and took a shot straight from the bottle by holding it upside-down a couple of inches above his mouth. He also poured Siraa a cup, winking before taking another shot himself. This continued about four more times, until he poured himself his own. Lifting his cup up to meet with everyone's, he kept a smile on his face. He could feel the heat of the alcohol illuminating his entire system, though he hoped it hadn't flushed his face red. It didn't matter, because Marlon would probably get completely wasted.

"Cheers."

Nessie draped her arm around Marlon and chugged down her cup, "WOOO!!!" She looked over at Siraa who seemed to be joining the party at last and winked at him. At that moment she got an idea of a great party game. She would wait a bit more for the fashionably late people to arrive and then she would make her announcement. Nessie grinned happily and grabbed the bottle from Marlon and took a chug of the liquor feeling the burn run down her throat and spread across her body. She loved it!

Siraa grinned in response to both Marlon's and Nessie's winks, his abnormally sharp canine teeth giving his smile an animal like quality. A few shots later and it finally started to kick in, the warmth of the alcohol spreading. He watched as Nessie took the bottle by the neck and downed a bit of it, Has she ever drank before? He questioned with a small smile, happy to see her enjoying herself. Running a hand through his bangs, he noticed that his face felt a bit warm, proof that the alcohol had set in.

"Damn, li'l girl." The only three words that rolled from his tongue as he watched Nessie gulp down some of his whiskey. "You put it away." This was not something that was out of the ordinary, of course; Nessie had drank in front of him previously, but never so loosely. Marlon was loving it. As they continued on, Marlon would make his attempt to sneak outside; cigarette time? Maybe, but a better option was more marijuana time. A cigarillo, filled with the sticky, leafy-green substance was lit after he shut the sliding door which seperated the deck and the dining room, next to the kitchen.

While he was out there, he used his arms to prop himself up onto the wooden railing in order to take a seat. He had been able to see most of the people belonging to the party through open windows. That's when he noticed that there was no music playing! Oh, Marlon was going to have fun, indeed. And that poor little girl who ran away from him was going to be his first test subject. Smoke spiraled from both of his nostrils and his slightly parted lips as the curves of his lips shifted upward. Someone was going to be thrown out of their comfort zone.

Tonight.

I walk up to Nessie's house, figeting in my conservative knee length flowy black skirt with a navy blue shirt and short sleeves. I knock on the door nervously. *This is it, A real party." I look at the door in awe. A real dance... Something besides fancy dinners seated next to other millionaire daughters. When nobody answered, I quietly poked in, shocked by the array of goergous girls and stunner guys. Digging my nails into the hem of my dress, I think, *I've eaten with ministers and kings. I can do this!* I calmly walk up to Nessie, tapping her shoulder apprehensively. "Hi," I say quietly, my voice unwavering.

Tegan sighed as he walked down the street to Nessie's party. He didn't bother using the car since her house was in the neighborhood beside his. Plus he enjoyed the long walk; it helped to calm down his anxiety. He stopped in his tracks right before the entrance. Deep down, he really didn't want to go to this party. Being surrounded by all these strangers made him feel sick to his stomach, but he could never turn anything down from Nessie, not even something as scary as a high school party. After breathing in deeply, he finally gathered the courage to open the door and walk into the chaos.

It took all of Tegan's willpower not to bolt right out of that door back to the safety of his home. He'd never imagine being in a room with this many people all at once. It seemed like all different types of people had came to this party: from the loud-mouths who wanted to get wasted to the others, like Tegan, who wanted to be anywhere but here. He guessed his afro was the only thing that set him apart from the rest of the crowd since a simple navy blue t-shirt and denim jeans didn't cut it. He attempted to maneuver himself around the crowd to the food table. It was hard to move around without colliding into a sweaty wasted body, but eventually he made it to his destination. Tegan grabbed a piece of pizza while trying to will his body to stop shaking from fear.

Nessie turned around to look at Carissa and smiled sweetly. "Hey hun! What's up?" She was beginning to get a little tipsy since she had had several cups of punch and whiskey. This would usually be her stopping point, but she felt like getting her party on. She grabbed a cup and filled it with the alcohol and gave it to Carissa. "Nice dress, beats the usual Navy blue shirt you always wear. Oh! I have the cutest pair of heels that can go with that dress. Mind if I borrow it some time?"

Constance had gone back to the kitchen to see if Marlon was still willing to talk to her even if she had ran away. This night was not going as planned. She should have been out in the dance floor grinding on some boys right now, but she wasn't drunk enough to stop her stupid shy brain from telling her it was wrong. She grabbed about 3 Jello-shots and engulfed them one after the other hoping that she would be a little less nervous when Marlon decided to talk to her, or she decided to talk to him.

"You're already drunk?" I ask her, raised an eyebrow as my lips settled in a smug smile. I remember when we first drank, she was so wasted that night. In a hushed, but daring voice, I tell Nessie, "you know I'm too young to drink." I had been to so many business parties where they served what seemed to be endless amounts of champagne, and I had learned to become hard to not drinking alcohol.

Nessie laughed at Carissa's comment, "I'm not drunk. I'm tipsy. I know the difference." She smiled and took a sip of her cup, "I've never been drunk before, but this," She motioned her body with her free hand in indication of her state of being, "this I've been before." She was just beginning to feel the buzz over come her. She looked around and saw that Tegan had already arrive. She placed her cup on the counter, rushed over to him, and attacked him from behind covering his eyes and whispering in his ear, "Guess who?"

I looked over at the hot dude in the corner with white pants. "Hey," I say quietly, walking over to him with a confident stride. My skirt hem flicked upwards for a moment, and I raised an eyebrow.

Quinn rested against the door frame in the kitchen. "Wooow. I have been gone for like...5 minutes. Everyone is already drinking their life away." Quinn chuckled. "Did you leave some for me? That is awfully rude if you didn't." She said with a devilish look in her eyes.

Tegan jumped when he felt something attack him from behind, but then realizing that Nessie, relief washed over him. "H-Hey Nessie," he stammered, a small smile forming on his lips. "Nice party you got here....You know all of these people?"

Nessie laughed and faced Tegan, "I know most of them, but there's a few that I've never seen before. I guess that's how parties go though. You tell a group of people and they tell their group and so on and so forth until you have a house full of drunk hungry guests." She looked at the pizza in his hand and took a bite out of it without his consent. She smiled innocently as she chewed the pizza.

Tyler arrives at Nessie's house and gets out of her car. She was working, so she arrived late. Tyler smooths her black tank top and ripped skinny jeans, she was ready to have some fun. Tyler walks up to the door and rings the doorbell waiting for an answer.

Tegan shrugged at her response. She probably wasn't wrong. He's never seen some of these people before, not at the high school or around town. He was taken aback when she took the pizza out of his hand and took a bite out of it, but then he smiled and shrugged it off. "You would do that," he said, laughing a little. He took the pizza back and bit off of where she had started, returning the innocent smile. "Alright, I'm curious. Why did you invite me, of all the people in the world, to a party as...chaotic as this one. You know how I get around big crowds, especially this kind of crowd."

sorry aha
Tyler doesn't get a response but she hears loud music so she decides to walk in. She looks around for Nessie. Tyler is excited to see her old friend from her old school when she lived with an old foster family.

Quinn chuckles and exits the kitchen. A lot more people came since when she last was in there. She shrugged and pulled out her phone. She plugged it into a speaker and put on the song "Bulletproof" by La Roux. She started dancing and her pink hair swayed everywhere she went.

Hunter was late, and he knew that. He had in fact been sleeping, something he loved very much and was very good at. But obviously it would be rude to bail on a party that a good friend had invited you to, even if you were so anti-social it hurt. Hunter parked the car several yards away from the house and hopped out the car, bringing his guitar. He wore a simple gray sweatshirt and jeans, and you could say that his hair looked awesome.

arriving at the door, he stepped in, loud music infiltrating his ears. "Dear Lord, please help me through this night." He said as he looked up to the ceiling. You couldn't blame him, he was just too worried about what might happen. He was paranoid. Making his way to a tub of drinks, he grabbed a Canada Dry. Hunter wasn't particularly fond of getting drunk, plus there better be at least one sober person at this party.

Suddenly a great song that he was familiar with started playing, so Hunter followed it. It was 'Bulletproof' by La Roux. an old favorite. Hunter sat in the middle of the floor in an empty space and started lightly strumming a following melody, just so he could feel at least a little occupied.

((Okay!))

Quinn continued dancing and smiled. She was the one of the only people at this party that hasn't gotten drunk or tipsy. She sighed and put on "Just Dance" by Lady GaGa. She danced to it in a fast manner.
