So. This is where it begins. I don't have to say anything, and if I do, your staff needs better communication between one another or someone needs to be removed from the staff immediately. Besides, it's better to start with your reasons (whoever, multiple or one) why and then I will proceed to state my case, and, or, dismantle yours. Regardless of who did it, or how many people are behind the decision (because this sites pretty biased) I deserve to know why (whether your actions were irrational or not, do not be afraid to state your reasoning for your actions or try to make a bigger deal than you already have).
 
If you're having account issues, Captian pointed out the site had your email bounce, meaning it's invalid. Change your email to something valid, revalidate your account and you shouldn't have issues.
 
The site is saying it's invalid? Try changing it to an alternate email to revalidate and see if that fixes your issue.
 
Why is it saying that? I just literally posted less than 24 hours ago and I checked my email this morning and just now. Why would I have to switch..my..email? Why can you not fix this?
 
I am trying to prove to you that no one on staff banned your account, it's simply an error in communication between your email and our server. Because you came in accusing us instead of inquiring if there was a glitch, I'm not just going to magically fix everything.


In order to protect ourselves from COPPA, we require all users to have a validate email account, since users having email must be 13. Occasionally, the site pings all the user emails to ensure they are still active and correct. When a ping comes back rejected, the account validation is removed until the user updates the email to one that is valid. If you had been banned, as you claim, the site would not have allowed you to create a second side account like the one you are using.


Ergo, nothing was done from the staff end. The email address you provided is causing the error.
 
Please read this. Cause you aren't reading my posts. You would see that I am no longer blaming the staff, as I..erased..my..first..post..dot..dot..dot. Second, my email is as valid as a correct answer on a test. Third, I should not have to do anything to prove to you that my email is valid except click something in my email from you guys. Fourth, I am not stupid, I know you can fix the situation on my account, you know I exist, you know I'm not a robot, I'm literally right here typing to you that my email is valid...I don't know what other verification you need...Please, give me a break, please.

For some reason, your email is not playing nice with our servers. This issue may (read: probably will) crop up again if I bypass it. I suggest you double-check to make sure you typed in your email correctly. Sometimes, emails are eventually rejected because there is simply a typo.


Try now and see if your account is back to normal.


If this issue happens again, please don't automatically assume we banned you. (: If you were banned, you would definitely know. We very rarely give out bans and when we do, they are for a reason.
 
Also, if you ever do have concerns with a member of staff, I suggest you make a post in Admin Contact. If your concern is with a member of the admin team, you can contact The Dark Wizard directly.
 
You have my sincerest apologies on that one, Morde, and the whole staff. I am just used to hostility. It is no excuse but it is my flaw to react terribly in some cases due to it. I thank you, no matter how hollow it may seem and apologize once more. You have my respect, whatever that may mean to you, it means a lot to me to say it.

I know sometimes emotions can get the best of us, especially when something unexpected happens (it happened to me the other day when I laid the smack down really rudely and inappropriately towards one of my best friends on the site just because he caught me in a bad mood). If you have this issue again and have spell-checked your email, let me know and I can try and do some more in-depth investigation.

You seem to be under a misapprehension that we can over-rule the site software. This is a functionality that is hardwired into the forum, not an addon or some such. We have attempted to manually validate your account, but the database is rejecting that every time we try. Mordecai and I have only a certain amount of skill when it comes to managing the user database, @The Dark Wizard is the person most likely to correct this issue.

As Captain said,


the fix I did was entirely temporary. If something isn't working well with your email/the site, this fix is a bandaid over a bullet wound. xD Blood will be leaking through soon. I'll make sure to discuss this with Wizard when he gets on later.
