Internet... taking forever for me to reply.

Ahh, for some reason our brains don't work the way we want it to work................

Hahaha... yeah, mine does that sometimes too. D:

I blame my kids... I feel like I've gotten dumber with each kid, like they eat my brain while I am pregnant. xD

Because... your character looks interesting? xD like most of the characters are definitely Humanoid and yours is kinda' "wtf is that?"

Huh, that so? Well, I'll take a good look at his character then... and...

Damn, its another tentacle monster with eyes. All we need to do is gather the women together and it'll be a full-blown hentai.

The Monstrum definitely look unusual

Hmm, I'm currently looking at Nogood's character Jace. I wonder if Walter would hire her if he goes to the Water Kingdom, but he already has lots of his own vassals to fight for him.

Also, Walter absolutely sucks when it comes to naval warfare. He is completely dependent on his sailors to make sure things run smoothly in the sea, he has ships of an obsolete design from thousands of years ago...

Would be fun, maybe if he needs someone with talents of a bit higher caliber than your average merc.

Walter uses the usual Northerner naval tactics, his ships go up close and the men board the enemy vessel to fight hand-to-hand. His ships don't have any ballistas to fight at long range, but his crew may have crossbows or bows and arrows. It doesn't have a ram built in it, so... yeah that kinda sucks.

The Northerners utilize a land-based army, and they only use ships to carry supplies when the roads are too poor to be used. Their navy is composed of exiled pirate knights and cutthroat mercenaries from the Water Kingdom.

Funny! Jace uses a very similar tactic, she generally tries to get close enough to board the enemy vessel, then the ballistae get turned upon the enemy crew almost like a support machine gun to lay down suppressing fire and wreck havoc while her crew takes them on hand to hand.

And fuck, I'm thinking of adding three more major characters that will contrast Walter's personality.

There'll be Sheriff Ives Warwick the Peacekeeper, the Lawful Neutral guy who is the medieval equivalent of a police chief. He'll also be a Lord of his own and he will command his own personal army. He often clashes with Walter the Bastard because Ives was the sheriff that personally investigated Walter's murder of his own father.

There'll be Lord William Regan, the Blood Lord, the Neutral Evil guy who just enjoys killing people. He's currently the 'unofficial' Duke of Mercia, the wasteland that was destroyed during the Great War. He clashes with Walter because both of them fought each other during the Elysian-Mercian civil war, and that Walter's grandfather was the one who blew up Mercia in the first place.

There'll be Grand Master Wolfram the Godblade, the Neutral Good guy who just wants everyone to get along. He's the commander of the Salvation Army, the only Northerners that are loyal to the Crown and they are willing to fight the entire North just to keep it from falling. He often clashes with Walter because he holds heretical beliefs and because Walter is sometimes an ass.

Ever heard of fire ships? If a ship is really wrecked, Walter would set it on fire and then crash it into an enemy ship. Usually, if Walter's crew captures a really good ship, they'll set their old ship on fire and send it to the enemy.

Damn, Walter still needs to learn the value of ships in running a kingdom, but he'll learn in due time.

Aha, wow, Jace doesn't really hop ships since she's rather attached to The New Dawn~!

Well if Jace has her ships then Walter has his castles. Boy, he loves them so much that he spends much of his time fortifying the place, incorporating new castle designs and talking with the architects.

Damn, I gotta really research on castles.

Also how would Jace react to Walter's men attacking merchantships?

Ehehe, will definitely be fun to see the two interact if Walter comes down to the WK, since Walter's kind of a dick and Jace kind of has just a tiny bit of a temper.

The WK does use fire ships too. Except they use the Tempest variety.

Jace definitely has no chance in swordfighting against Walter, but I'm not out to kill your characters so...

I thought of a scene where if Jace gets angry, Walter would easily parry her furious attacks and taunt her. Then as the fight would drag on, Walter would actually instruct her how to use the sword and give her more tips.

And Walter's not actually going to hurt her, but he if he does decide to do some damage, he'll just slash some bits of her clothes off.

Damn, those Orks and their ships will be the end of my fleet...

Ooh! That sounds really fun! Though I never took Walter to be the calm mentor type.
