Sector 6-10 Squad

JAENKO

A stream of curses flew from Jaenko's lips. Forgetting his earpiece was still on, he immediately apoligized to the captain. "Sorry for the language cap, but today's been a shit day at the office. Babysitting the monkey boy is another thing on our plates none of us want to handle. He's armed, I'm sure he can take care of himself." Clicking his earpiece off, he getsured to Irethalli. "Well. I won't be able to find the damn robot with the cameras." Jaenko pulled his finger from the computer and began reaffixing it to his hand. "Stick together, you and me are gonna have to chase down this one mano-a-ma-RRGHH!"

Gritting his teeth, Jaenko felt his left arm go limp, and his cybernetic eye went dead, only allowing him to see normally. Not only was that a problem with locating Dory, but it also handicapped him. Dory had laid a trap for them in her office, a virus had gotten into Jaenko's system from her computer, and it shocked the hell out of his implants. He was just glad the filter in his throat didn't have a close valve, or he would have suffocated. Expression dark, he cracked his neck, then promptly headbutted the computer, shattering the screen and breaking the components inside.

"OHKAY, NOW I'm pissed. SOMEBODAY'S gonna answer for that with 60,000 joules of PAIN!" Jaenko fumed, walking out the busted door and deattatching his arm. Turning back to Irethalli, Jaenko made a 'hurry up' motion with his remaining arm. "Let's get a move on Ire, fugatives don't detain temselves." If Jaenko was a fire elf, he was sure steam would be coming out of his ears by now. Deattatching his mechanical arm, Jaenko ranted for a little while afterwards. "Oh boy, we are gonna hunt us a robot. And when we find her, I am gonna take this arm, and beat her to death with it."

As Ayta left the Command Station, she thought about her feelings towards the Captain, about her feelings towards Markus' death, and her worry over the current mission and Adonis' whereabouts. Znepokojující mě nikam. Ayta stopped in the hallway and took a deep breath in through the slits in her small, petite, nose, then exhaled slowly through her mouth. As she calmed herself further, she noticed a familiar figure walking ahead of her and towards the Infirmary. Is that...Atsutane? Ayta wondered to herself with her forehead wrinkled in confusion. I didn't expect him to arrive any time soon. Not long after the stranger's appearance did Andro's voice come in through her earpiece. "Commander Ayta, you have a guest to attend to in the infirmary." She made her way to the Infirmary with a slightly faster pace than before and arrived at the door frame only to face Atsutane himself.

"What a surprise, Atsutane. Greetings. It's been quite a while, hasn't it?" Ayta showed a small smile to her friend, then glanced towards his arm with her glowing eyes. "Technical problem?" She questioned with a slight chuckle, then opened her water satchel. She manipulated the water in the satchel to wrap around Atsu's wound, relieving the wound's burning sensation. As she held the water there with one hand, she walked over to the drawer by the counter she had hit her head on and pulled out a bandage as well as some gauze for his wound. The healing properties of the water on his arm began to repair the tissues that were injured while she grabbed the medical supplies.

The ice on Ayta's forehead began to melt slightly, the water on her forehead having almost healed her wound entirely. When she reached Atsutane's side once more, she removed the water from his wound and moved it towards the sink to get rid of the now tainted water. With her expertly deft hands, Ayta placed a thin layer of frost on his wound and then covered it with gauze, then began to wrap the wound.
"I apologize if I'm causing you pain, but you really should be more careful from now on, engineer." Ayta teased slightly as she finished dressing his wound, then stood back to touch her earpiece. "Captain, Atsutane has rejoined us and the wound he had received is now treated. If you need him, he should be in prime shape to help." Ayta finished and lowered her hand, flashing a small smile at Atsu before heading over to the body bag containing Markus.

"I currently have his earpiece. Adonis left it in his locker. The fugitive is important, but so is your comrade. I want everyone back in one piece." The Captain's voice came in clearly through her earpiece, and the demonic nodded in understanding before speaking out loud. "Gotcha, Cap." Ire was a bit concerned for her teammate, but Jaenko's outburst startled her out of her moment of concern. "Sorry for the language cap, but today's been a shit day at the office. Babysitting the monkey boy is another thing on our plates none of us want to handle. He's armed, I'm sure he can take care of himself." Ire agreed with the Nauvon's words, and continued to nod when he acknowledged her until his arm and eye seemed to short-circuit after he removed his hand from Dory's computer.

""OHKAY, NOW I'm pissed. SOMEBODY'S gonna answer for that with 60,000 joules of PAIN! Let's get a move on Ire, fugitives don't detain themselves. Oh boy, we are gonna hunt us a robot. And when we find her, I am gonna take this arm, and beat her to death with it." Ire watched Jaenko with wide eyes and nodded, a little afraid to speak. As the two of them began to leave Dory's office, Ire heard a thudding sound with her pointed ears. She tilted her head to the side to try and listen harder for the noise, but it was growing faint. However, as she tilted her head, she noticed that a couple parts of the ceiling had been tampered with. With her eyes glued to the ceiling, Ire smacked Adonis' real arm with urgency, then whispered fiercely. "Jae. The ceiling."

Atsutane grins at Ayta when she enters the infirmary right behind him. He looks down at his arm, wiggling his fingers and wincing a bit at the pain. "Hey Ayta. Yeah. I had some trouble with my ship and wasn't paying attention when I was fixing it." He says with a chuckle as she wraps the water around his seared arm, relieving the pain almost as soon as it makes contact. He's always been fascinated by Chordations' water manipulation, the way the liquid responds to their minds and changes properties like tech responds to his implants. Chordation medics are always the best thanks to their abilities. He inclines his head at the bit of ice glistening on her forehead while she pulls out her supplies and moves back over to him. "Looks like things've been hectic while I was gone," he says.

He looks down and grins again at the sight of his tissues repairing themselves under the thin layer of now cloudy water, which flows off his arm and into the sink before Ayta layers it with a bit of frost before starting with the gauze. The cold makes a small tingle go up his spine as it settles in.
"I apologize if I'm causing you pain, but you really should be more careful from now on, engineer." the medic says to him jokingly as she finishes dressing his arm. It still stings and tingles a bit, but it's much better than before. "Nah, it's fine, but those wires won't be when I get my implants on them." he responds, his eyes glinting mischievously as he thinks of all the ways he can get his revenge on the little cybernetic components, almost not noticing when Ayta makes her call to the captain.

JAENKO

Jaenko took a little break from his ranting about bludgeoning animated individuals with disembodied limbs to process what Irethalli had said, as well as what she'd pointed out to him. Upon first glance, nothing was amiss. However, as the angry nauvon looked more closely at the tiles of the ceiling he could tell many of them had been displaced. Jaenko put two and two together: he had not seen Dory on the security cameras, and the ceiling tiles were disturbed. Therefore, the thing that had disturbed the ceiling tiles was probably Dory.

Taking in a giant breath and holding it in his cheeks like a fish, Jaenko stared at the ceiling. He then turned his gaze to Irethalli, and then the ceiling again. Letting out is breath in a strangled
"Brlaaah! Jaenko gestured around with his arm, the metal one flapping around wildly in his grasp. "Hah. Now that I've got that out of my system, it's time to do something about this. Looking around, he located a fire alarm. Given that fires tended to happen alot on Phi're, the sprinklers were not packed with water, but instead, foam, to douse flames. It was more efficient that way. Dropping his arm, Jaenko motioned for Irethalli to use him as a stepladder.

"Allrighty, here's the plan, I boost you up to the ceiling, and you block off one of the tubes supplying fire supression foam to the whole system. Once that's done, I pull the fire alarm, the tube bursts, and if we're lucky, all the ceiling tiles will cave in. Savvy?" Stooping down, Jaenko held out his remaining arm for his companion to put her foot in. In addition to catching a criminal, the confusion after the fire alarm would be pulled would serve as a means of fulfilling his monthly humor quota. Jaenko just hoped it worked.

Once all her comrades gave her the A-okay to light the civilians on fire, a harmless fire that is, she focused all her power onto them. After focusing on their location, one by one they lit up on fire! The thieves began to panic and looked among themselves to see which guy on their team was being an asshole. They weren't expecting our squadron to do such a heinous act. Phi'gora rushed in and created a rope made of fire and wrapped it around the civilians. "GO, GRAFFIK! GO!" Phi'gora ran past the Nauvon with all the civilians forcefully tagging along with her. Their eyes were wide and they screamed in panic.

With a snap of her fingers, the fiery rope and flames around them disappeared. "You are safe," she explained, "Get into the closet and we'll teleport you to safety." In a single file line, they shuffled into the closet. "Okay, boss," she said to Captain Andro, "You can poof 'em to safety." The handful of civilians said their thank-yous before they disappeared right before her eyes. She imagined the Captain was placing them immediately outside of the bank where the police was beginning to accumulate.
