JAENKO

Jaenko tolerated the playful slaps to the back of his head. They weren't too hard, as both he and Phi'gorra were both aware that anything harder than a light prod with skin contact would hurt due to his horns. "I could have helped you. Some people just need a reminder that we're the ones with authority. A reminder in the form of a smack. In the forehead. With my forehead. Very heavily." Jaenko had to keep himself from smiling at his witty remark.

"Let's see," he began once Phi'gorra was in the room with him, "The scans I've run have revealed a few more possible bugs, we've got-" Phi'gorra handed him the bug she'd found in Na'nahni's room. "What's... OH. Oh good. You're a miracle worker, Phi." Jaenko exclaimed, a little slit opening in his mechanical arms palm, a beam of horizontal light scanning the bug. "Now I can find these all over the entire city if I wanted to. I'll do the honors." Pressing his finger to his ear, Jaenko opened his channel to all members of the squad, as well as the captain and second in command.

"Allrighty, listen up everybody. I've got some pretty clear readings. Phi's got one allready, so we've got seven bugs to find. Eight in total. They seem to be placed on-slash-around the working spaces of the majority of the inteligence workers. In mine and Phi's building, we've got one on a Boh'rors Airs and a Kins Nunenz, same room. There's also one on the security android, aaaaand we've allready found one on Na'nahni. Ireythalli and Adonis, heads up. You guys have four too, but only two rooms. Sweep the offices of Liz'phi Noalla and her partner, also SoraNorelis and Duck Marquin's place. As for the infiltrator, I'd suggest... Jaenko's voice trailed off, his eyes narrowed. The security cameras. He could feel the same little bit of code in the lines that he could the bugs. Something was off...

He could see himself and Phi'gorra in the camera at their current room. He scrolled over to room 201 and found Adonis and Ireythalli. The workers were all in their places, aside from the lil fat man named Ernesto Adonis was dragging around with him. Jaenko cycled thorough all the feeds at once, faster than alot of other people could, simply rolling his finger along the selection bar. If any inconsistencies were found, his arm would vibrate slightly up close to his shoulder so he could tell where the inconsistency was. This was a device invented by himself to find errors in code, but it was also useful in this situation as well.

Rolling past a few cameras, his arm buzzed. Switching back again, he felt the vibration once more. Squinting his eyes, he slowed down, coming to a rest where his arm told him to. The cameras from the bank. Everything looked normal... No. Closer inspection revealed the timestamp was wrong. "A loop..." Jaenko exclaimed, tapping a few buttons on the computers keyboard. The videofeed turned static, then faded to show what was ACTUALLY going on. His eyes widened, and he unconciously cut the link between everyone. There were several armed men, some pointing their guns at people, and more who had seemed to have used them. Holding his hand back to his earpiece, Jaenko spoke aloud to everyone once again. "Holy shhh... Ah, captain, can you read me?" Jaenko hailed, "We are definetively going to need some backup."

Jaenko glanced sideways at Phi'gorra. She was the only medic down here, and Ayta couldn't handle the heavy atmosphere here due to her chordation lungs. Phi would be going into combat then, and putting herself at risk. A tinge of worry struck Jaenko for Phi'gorra, but he shook it off. This was their job. They did what they could to keep order, even if it meant violence. Still, something didn't click in the back of his mind, and he kept the feeling that shit had hit the fan. He didn't show this however, instead wearing a gruff face, the one he had on when he was all business. Jaenko gritted his teeth. It was time to find the bugs. All of them. And then the culprit.

The figure slid on her mask, the 'Exultier' EVA mask fitting over her face and darkening, blacking out her face, a metallic clicking resonating from her headset. It began deploying over her short-cut hair, pressing it in, skin tight, the metal seamlessly folding and bonding with her head. It covered her neck, underneath the leather and olive drab t-shirt's collar. She stepped onto the extendable ramp which hissed as the transporter ship latched the rings together. She still wore the mask that in the off-chance there was a broken seal, she'd be safe from the icy clutches of space or miserable conditions of a planet. She stepped forward, her boot heels clicking against the metallic floor as she stepped across the threshold into the ship. She heard the door close behind her and the shuttle disconnected. As this occurred she let the metallic head-gear slid back around onto her neck. She looked up at the camera the Captain was no doubt watching;

"What the hell was the wait? You know I hate that."

She looks back down on the ground and taps her foot impatiently as the floor slid open slowly; much slower than she remembered. Speaking of which, she wondered if anybody remembered her. Maybe, it'd been half a decade so it'd be OK if they're a bit foggy. She stepped into the hallway with her luggage and looked around, not sure where to head to, no doubt her bunk had been taken by someone else, so she'd head to bridge. She steps outside of airlock and into the hallway, looking around. Which way was it again..? Ah right... She looked to her right and followed through with her feet, stepping towards the door, walking through, and turning, getting onto the lift. She hit the button and went upstairs.

She stepped out and went directly to her left, entering the bridge, looking around briefly before setting down her canvas bags. The bridge looked unoccupied at first glance, but she had some pretty iffy vision, and wasn't really paying attention. Hell, she could've been sitting in the hive of assassin bees and not have seen them. She felt pretty safe, it was home to her. (Added that last part because I have noooo clue who's on the bridge so)

Sea-Creature-sea-life-8978216-533-800.jpg

As the female Chordation glanced back at Mingo, he seemed to realize Markus' presence on the infirmary bed beside him. As he spoke, Ayta winced, still feeling as though his death was her fault. She nodded at his vocal revelation, then looked away from him, back down at the insect humanoid on the ground that was beginning to stir. Her eyes flicked open and looked around the room, similar in color to Ayta's eyes and glowing dots. Mingo moved immediately when the insect female began to growl, startling Ayta and causing her to move behind him. She may not be troubled by the sight of blood or the loss of limbs, but she was not experienced in the art of combat. Her glowing blue eyes stayed trained on the intruder, but her webbed hand reached for another vial of sedative. Mingo spoke softly to it, while Ayta observed silently.

""Eeeeeeaaaaasy easy easy. Don't try to get up." His voice was slow and calm, meant to relax the female and prevent her from making any rash decisions. She began to speak some other language that Ayta didn't recognize, but the insect female seemed to understand their inability to understand her. She began speaking broken English, but her words were easier to comprehend now that they were in a universal language. "I am mantis. Fought well, you. Much respect, blue fleshy one. You no go squish today." Ayta's glance shifted between the insect female and Mingo, concern flickering across her face before returning to a neutral expression. The female seemed to realize that she hadn't truly introduced herself to the two Chordations.

"Ah, I am mantis. Mantis Graffink. Graffink I am. Blue fleshy one fought well. Blue fleshy one make Graffink... Not good. Blue fleshy one hurt." Mingo glanced back at Ayta when Graffink said this, who only blinked when he gave her a questioning gaze. She took that moment as her queue to speak, but when she opened her mouth to speak, the Captain's voice came in through her earpiece. "Second in Command. Who's that in our infirmary?" His voice was like music to her ears, and only fazed her for a moment. "Um...Captain, we have a new passenger. Her name is Graffink, and she's some form of mantis Nauvon. She seems to hold Mingo in some form of respect. I think she may be an asset, now, but for the moment she will be fully sedated." Ayta finished speaking into the earpiece and then nodded to Mingo, taking the vial she had in her hand and inserting it into the syringe she used on her earlier. Since Mingo was holding her down, she was able to swiftly administer the sedative and then retract her arm in a hurry to stay away from the dangerous insect humanoid.

"Um...Captain, we have a new passenger. Her name is Graffink, and she's some form of mantis Nauvon."

"She seems to hold Mingo in some form of respect."

"I think she may be an asset, now, but for the moment she will be fully sedated."
Ayta finished speaking into the earpiece.

Andro cleared his throat before responding.

"Sedating Graffink is useless. Her kind is very adaptable. Now, no amount of sedative will be able to hold her down," he paused before speaking again.

"Let's hope her respect for Mingo is enough to keep us from eliminating her."

Click. The wireless communication between Ayta and himself ended. Apparently, the new recruit arrived before Kei could greet her. He decided to accompany him down the Lift to the retractable ramp where Irina was entering. Shinjo was already ahead of him, but it did not take much time for them to stand side by side before the new recruit, Irina Peltavaskiy. He opened his mouth to speak until he was interrupted by Jaenko and his troubling message.

"Holy shhh... Ah, captain, can you read me?" Jaenko hailed

"We are definitely going to need some backup."

"Processing," he said as he reviewed the file Jaenko had flagged.

"Attention all of Squadron Sector 6-10," he transmitted the video file to everyone.

"Here. Put this on," Andro handed Irina an ear piece to join the group wirelessly.

"Extremely suspicious activity is occurring within the bank neighboring the Sector 6 Communications' System,"

His mind was playing around with the different combinations of his squadron to send on this side mission.

"More than likely, the bank is being robbed... Kei. Irina. Head to the War Room. Phi'gora, prepare to be transferred."

"Mingo, ask Graffink if she's willing to aid us in a mission. If so, escort her to the War Room."

"For the rest of the crew, be on your toes."

There was no time for introductions. No time for questioning the loyalties of others. It was just time to act. Andro stomped his way towards the elevator, and waited for Shinjo and Irina to join him respectively. He crossed his arms in a serious manner while wearing a stern face. Deep within him, he had the urge to turn on his emotions, but his robotic side feared it as much as it craved it.

Irina took the Earpiece doubtfully, and held it out daintily as if it were a piece of three-month old meat, long over due it's throw out date. She didn't care for the feeling much less trust the technology. The Captain she trusted, technology, not so much.

"I really hate shoving things inside of me."

She spat out sarcastically, gently sliding it into her inner ear, which twitched spastic like until it gently stopped. She wiggled it twice, for good measures to make sure it was working and fit in properly with a comfortable fit. She dropped her duffles and pulled out a small stick, a collapsing Sovnya polearm, nice and compacted onto a cylinder, which she gently fit into her jacket, next to a pair of knuckle dusters, a smaller combat knife, three throwing knives and a pistol. Above each one was a different pack of gum, all different flavors in pockets, holding two of each flavor. She flipped the jacket closed and zipped it up again, then placed a much larger revolving cylinder plasma pistol, into a thigh holster, more of a statement than a real combat efficient piece of equipment. But it was still a hand cannon, good for putting things down. She wiggled her fingers in anticipation, feeling like a cliched and stereotyped action hero. She stepped off and headed to the war room, looking around casually at the well lit interior; not much had changed.

Her feet came to a halt, the thick rubber soles grinding on the linoleum floor as she stopped. She scratched her neck quickly before looking around at the other faces;

"What's the deal?"

GRAFFINK

The fleshy blue one jabbed her with a needle again. She clicked her mandibles angrily, but calmed down a bit, if only slightly. "Fgraplshhhhhhhhh! No poking!" she growled mildly. The sedative wasn't working very well, given that she'd allready had a dose of it, the mantis's physiology made whatever didn't kill them stronger. The other blue fleshy one's arm had stopped restricting her, but only for a little bit. His arm went to his ear as he spoke: "Right away captain." But then his arm went back to restricting. Graffink had told him that made her uncomfortable, she couldn't figure out why he continued. Ah. Yes she could. Dominance. The blue fleshy one was obviously the prime hunter of the ship. These were his hunting grounds, and he was letting Graffink know that he would not have his prey hunted for him.

"Ahhh... Graffink, I'm going to let you up. Don't try to hurt anyone allright?" The blue fleshy one said. Graffink nodded to show she understood, and gradually felt the pressure ease. Of course, she could have just thrown the blue fleshy one off, but he deserved more respect, especially after sparing her life. "I need you to do something for me-" the blue fleshy one began. Graffink's blue eyes lit up with excitement. "Hunt! Yes yes, we hunt! Off to blood! Glory! When when? Which one? Other fleshy one's on this ship?" The blue fleshy one shook his head. A sign of negativity. This was confusing. "No, not... Wait. Yes. We're going hunting." The blue fleshy one said. "More specifically, you're going hunting." Graffink raised her arm to strike at the other blue fleshy one, but the male jumped in front of her way. "NONONONONONO not here!" the blue fleshy one said, waving his arms. Graffink lowered her striking arm, tilting her head and clicking her mandibles in confusion. "Graffink confused. Where is hunt?" The blue fleshy one looked confused now. He shook his head and grabbed Graffink's arm. "Just... Come with me. The captain will explain things."

MINGO

Mingo took Graffink by the arm and led her to the war room. The one with the blade on it, so she couldn't stab anyone. Mingo shuddered, if the mantis had used that arm to cut through the blast door to the war room, then he REALLY didn't want to see what it could do to a human. "This way," Mingo said, pulling her through the still-smashed-in door.

Once inside, Graffink caught a glimpse of Captain Andro talking and moving and began to go nuts. Just a few minutes ago she had seen it, as an inanimate object with no driving force.
"Vrapleshhhhhh! Metal moves! Not real! What is? GrafffShhhhh!" Mingo reasoned she'd never seen an android before, and tried to calm Graffink down. How did you calm down a killing machine that was basically a super mobile tank with a blade? Thinking quickly, Mingo tugged on her arm. "Graffink, relaxrelaxrelax. Do something with me real quick, take a few deep breaths." Graffink began to protest, but Mingo took an exaggeratedly loud breath in and let it out with a woosh. He repeated it a couple of times, and Graffink attempted to follow suit. "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHHHHHHHHHHH," the insectasoid inhaled, "SHRRRRRRRAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" She exhaled, both actions more of a scream than anything else. Graffink's exhale got a bit of spittle on Mingo. Wether she took that as an actual calming exercize or just an excuse to be loud, he couldn't tell. Wiping off his face with his hand and shaking it, Mingo sighed. Good enough.

"Allright. That is Captain Andro. He... Orginizes hunts. He's very good at it too." Given that Graffink did nothing, she understood that much. Mingo continued. "The Captain will tell you what you need to hunt. But there are rules okay? We only hunt people who try to hunt us, or other people. And right now, there is a place where there are alot of hunters that do not like us." Graffink nodded enthusiastically. "Vrashhhhmmmmm. Good. Graffink does not like other hunters. Must be die. Competition. Mingo nodded slowly. She wasn't entirely right, but at least she was grasping the concept. He let go of her arm and she stepped up to the captain, and suprisingly, towered over him. "Vrshhhphra. Jrshhissssick. Not-fleshy metal fleshy-looking one. Graffink ready for hunt."

Shinjo Keishishima

>Shinjo's Room

>War Room

Tags: Everyone that's in the war room

Shinjo soon looked at the now active captain, it took some time trying to cool his systems off, but eh it's on now, despite the burning sinsation he had felt. "
Good Work" he heard the captain say it. He nodded his head, a sign for saying you're welcome. If shinjo wanted too, he could leave him invulnerable, and unfunctional, but his old treater days were over, or is it?

He heard about some new recuriter due to someone's death, which it doesn't matter too him everyone dies.

"Excuse me captain, I need to go into my room to grab a few things. It shouldn't take long" He requested, as he went on his own, heading towards his room. His room, and the war room wasn't that long of a walk. Once shinjo arrived at the front door of the room, he would then place his right hand on the door. Supposedly he did some upgrades, security upgrades at that, so no one can freely go into his room. Once the laser scan was complete, the door immediately opens, and shuts once he steped in. Shinjo started to scan his room, a lot of closet doors, command pad for his personal use, a camrea for his view too see things wants going on around the ship.

In his closet, there were a weapon stash, but mainly swords. He maybe a great hand-to-hand combatant, but he has picked up on some swordsman skills during his long break at his home planet, doing secret work for his own orginization, that he will soon go too after he feels like finishing up around here. Their was a pad on one of his closet doors, each looked transparent, and blend in well with the colour, so even if someone was able to hack through his door. It would be impossible to get through anything else in his room, expecially his secret area were he works on his useful tools.

He brought his sheath that was pitch black, and a change of clothes. He wore all black for certain reason's, because black was hard to spot on during the night, after that he would exit out of his room, and head straight towards the war room were everyone should be.

The Captain had an authoritative stance. His feet were a shoulder width apart, taking up as much space as possible in the room. He was being attuned to his teammates animalistic nature. The stronger and bigger you are, the more likely you'll be amongst the survival of the fittest. His hands were clasped together directly before his artificial abdomen. In this position, he emits a calm demeanor that is ready for anything. That is what a captain needs to be calm. So long as Andro has his emotions offline, he won't represent any other emotion. His expression was stern as his eyes scanned the room. He then gave Irina the eye contact necessary to reassure her there is no big deal, just a simple mission he knew his Squadron can handle.

"A bank is being robbed. I will get into specifics as the rest of team arrives," his monotone voice was low pitched emphasizing on his artificial masculinity.

Finally, one by one, those the captain has called upon came before him. Mingo accompanied Graffink and based off of her interactions, she was willing to aid them in this mission. He wasn't particularly fond of this humanoid insect for it stood a foot higher than himself. Having to crank his neck slightly was an unfamiliar motion. In addition, he was designed to be taller than every race's average height. His creators must have overlooked Nauvon's sub-race belonging to Graffink.

"こんにちは" he spoke in Vols after researching Graffink's native language.

"罪のない人が人質にされています。私はあなたが私のチームとの脅威を排除したいです," once Kei entered the room, he smiled pleasantly.

"Great, let's get to business."

He began to pace slowly as he spoke. Simultaneously helping himself to devices within cabinets and tossing them over to Graffink then clasping his hand from behind in a typical military-like pose. Most of the people in the room spoke Vols except Phi'gora, and her role was just as important as everyone else's.

"This is an earpiece, so we can communicate from afar," he elaborated to Graffink.

"I hope you're paying attention Doctor," his stern, robotic voice vibrated in her ear.

"I am teleporting you all into the Janitorial Closet within the bank. Our prerogative is to escort the hostages to safety then killing the... hunters." eyeing Graffink as he purposefully used terminology she would recognize.

There was no time to lose. If he waited any longer, the culprits will get away. He began tapping into his arm meaningfully until a whirring sound was made. His arm emitted a blue light scanning his team's body down to the subatomic level, allowing them to get to point A and then sending all the scanned data to point B, where the systems' communication computer builds them back up from nothing in a fraction of a second. Irina, Kei, Graffink and Phi'gora all reappeared within the Janitorial Closet in Sector's 6 Bank in their Sector 6-10 uniforms. The uniforms are completely black except for the white lettering on their chest labeling them as the Sector 6-10.

Phi'gora laughed at Jaenko's comment related to his typical headbutting. It was always what he resorted to. Nauvons are so cute. She rested her arm against shoulder as she watched him tap tap tap along on the computer. Only flipping her hair to the side in response to his compliment to her finding of the tapping device in Na'nahni's office. Her face scrunched up when he began to speak through his ear piece. Hearing him twice was quite annoying. She temporarily removed her wireless communications device, so that she could only hear him. She nodded her head in an absent manner until Jaenko suddenly stopped speaking. She put back on her ear piece thinking someone was responding, then looked over at his computer when he was not seemingly interrupted. She was looking at the cameras just as he was, not really catching on to his drift. When he spoke, she repeated questioningly, "A... loop?" His typing on the computer seemed to go faster and louder. She continued to watch silently until she saw what he meant. She stood straight now and her expression became serious. She looked at Jaenko as he looked at her, she couldn't exactly read him. Why was his brows furrowed with concern? Is it because they're her 'people'?

"Oh," was all she said in response to the Captain's orders. "I'm being transferred," she looked down at Jaenko. He must have known already. She should have known also, but it didn't really cross her mind. She stepped away from her partner and prepared to be transferred and of all places a Janitorial Closer. She rolled her eyes at the thought. Well, it is better than in the middle of the room where all the guns are being pointed... she let out a sigh. She looked down at her body as it was pixilating. "Here we go. Bye, Jae~" In a blink of an eye, she was in a small room that had a stench of worn cleaning utensils and supplies. She twisted her mouth to the side uncomfortably. "Oh universe, this is going to be tight."

JAENKO

"Here we go. Bye, Jae~" Phi'gorra said as she was beamed into oblivion, then recollected who knows where. Jaenko gritted his teeth. What was going to happen? Phi'gorra was a medic. Sure, Phi could take care of herself, but who knew what kind of firepower the criminals in the bank were packing? Laser guns? Plasma spewers? Guns with actual bullets? Jaenko gritted his teeth and let out a breath roughly through his nose. Pressing his finger to his ear, he spoke to the other two members of his team, "Ireythalli, I'd focus on the bugs. Adonis, be on the lookout for some shifty people. Let's wrap this up."

Standing up, Jaenko removed his finger from the computer and reattatched it, his arm whirring and clicking as he mentally readjusted the bits and pieces. He picked up his helmet, but instead of putting it on clipped it to his belt. It was time to work, and he didn't need any visual restrictions.

Jaenko stepped down the hall to the place with the most bugs, the office of Kins Nunenz and Airs Boh'rors. Two birds with one stone. Not too bad. He tried the door handle, but the door didn't swing open. It just rattled loudly, apparently locked. Grunting, Jaenko planted one of his feet parallel to the door and leaning a shoulder back, raised his foot and slammed it into the area just in front of the lock. The door swung open, bits of the frame around the lock mechanism splintering and falling to the ground. The two elves that were in the office were currently in the process of snorting something up their noses, probably the reason the door was locked in the first place.

Jaenko ignored the two elves, and held out his mechanical arm, scanning the room, little red beams of light dancing around. His eye lit up the location of the first one, which just happened to be an obvious flash drive plugged into Kins's computer. Grabbing it, he turned around, scanning for the second. He couldn't see it at first, but a vibration from his arm located it on Airs person. Roughly patting the elf down, Jaenko found the device behind the female elf's ear. Jaenko didn't know what the hell they were doing, but he bet that he could use some of it on the bad days at work. But being the son of two merchants, he understood the dependance these people had on the substance, and the only advice he had for them was
"Get clean." He didn't have time for this shit. Spinning on his heel, Jaenko left without a word.

Coming up to the security office, the door popped open before he could knock. Cocking his right elbow in case it was a trap and someone was waiting to jump him (unlikely as it was, there
was a bank robbery going on nearby) he came upon a desk with multiple metal impliments and whirring contraptions and machinery. "Hello," A metallic voice greeted him, "I am Android 67532 style #018, but I prefer to be called 67. It saves time." Lowering his arm, Jaenko relaxed a bit. "Hey 67," Jaenko said, more amiable than he was with Airs and Kins, "I've got a job I need done, you've got a tapping device on you somewhere." Jaenko was glad this one was an android, it knew the building better than he did, and this one seemed like it would be willing to help. The android nodded. "I've been aware of this for awhile now," The android replied, "But it appears I have been programmed to not be able to resolve the situation. Quite strange indeed. I'd be one happy android if you would kindly remove the device for me." Jaenko nodded, holding up his arm, but was stopped by the robot. "There is no need for scanning. I have been watching you through the security cameras, and although you are quite the capable biological individual, I know where it is. There is a release hatch on the inner workings of my left 'thigh', the bug is located in there." Nodding his thanks, Jaenko complied with the android's instructions, removing the little black bob from the inner wiring of the androids leg.

"I also need to find out who did this. Can you help me there?" Jaenko asked. "In certanty? Negative." 67 replied, "But given the circumstances, it would be logical that the culprit would need to have acess to both buildings at all times given the spread pattern of the data tapping devices. It would also have to be logical that-" "The culprit would have to know how to hack. To keep you quiet and suspicion off themselves." 67 nodded, not initially happy that he was interrupted, but pleased the Nauvon could reason for himself. "I also have reason to believe that the culprit is related to the incidets now happening in the bank." Jaenko snorted, a light smirk crossing his face. "Heh. I figured as much. Thanks for the help." Jaenko said, turning to leave. "I only wish I were capable of assisting more," the android called.

Jaenko rubbed his forehead, going back into the halls. Now it was a 'whodunnit' situation. As hard a time Ms. Aurora gave Phi, she wasn't proficient in technology. She couldn't have hacked 67. The two druggies had a motive for collaborating with the bank robbers, or stealing information, profit for their drug habits. But they only had acess to building 200, not 201. Could 67 have planted the tapping devices? He had acess to the buildings. No. Androids of his make were incapable of lying. And he was owned by the federation, so he had no reason to work against them. So Jaenko looked at the people who no devices were found on. They were all in the building 201.

Narrowing his eyes, lithe as a cat, Jaenko made his way to building 201. Whoever planted the bugs was probably aware someone was onto them. Reasoning they wouldn't go down without a fight, Jaenko mentally flexed his missing arm, and his shock capacitor emerged from his wrist.

Then the answer hit him like a ton of bricks.

As soon as Lil'Ayta injected more sedative into the creature, now known as Graffink, she hissed and her mandibles clicked together angrily, displeased with Ayta's distribution of the sedative. "Fgraplshhhhhhhhh! No poking!" The creature rasped just before she heard the Captain's voice through her earpiece. "Sedating Graffink is useless. Her kind is very adaptable. Now, no amount of sedative will be able to hold her down. Let's hope her respect for Mingo is enough to keep us from eliminating her." After he finished speaking, the connection between their comms went dead, and Ayta chewed the inside of her lip before reaching up to the bandages on her head. Ugh...Bolí mě hlava teď. She thought to herself in her native tongue as she watched Mingo escort Graffink out of the Infirmary. Andro's voice came through the earpieces once more, this time about another issue that has come up with the mission.

"Attention all of Squadron Sector 6-10," He began, and Ayta listened intently to see if she was needed, but it seemed as though she wasn't, so she tuned out anything else the Captain might have said and instead looked in the Infirmary mirror at her head wound. It didn't hurt anymore, and was not bleeding, but she felt sort of dizzy from it and figured it would be best if she took a seat somewhere. Mohl bych sedět v příkazovém stanici, a sledovat a poslouchat odtamtud. Doufejme, že nikdo všimne... Ayta thought to herself in Hmmz as she pulled the bandage off and ran a finger along the gash on her forehead. Small ice crystals formed at the edge of her fingertip, covering the wound and making it look like one of the glowing marks on her skin. With a content look on her face, Ayta left the Infirmary and made her way to the Command Station, using the walls for support.

Once in the Command Station she listened to the others in the War Room as she seated herself on a chair in front of the Captain's seat, on the right hand side. Resting her head on her hands, the blue female closed her eyes and used her ears to listen to the conversation in the War Room, but was more focused on relaxing and urging her body to heal the wound she had on her forehead. However, Markus became the topic her mind focused on once more, causing her shoulders to droop.
He died...under my care...I must contact his family, as soon as we're within range. Ayta thought to herself in English, incapable of hiding the frown on her pale blue face. She opened her faintly glowing eyes to look out at the stars her mind wandering.

It seems as though you have left us to join the stars, Markus... Žil jsi dobrý život. Ayta thought with sad eyes on the very stars she pictured Markus joining. A couple glowing tears escaped from her eyes, but she continued to stare at the stars, thinking of Markus' family.

She closed her eyes as her atoms dis assembled themselves and shot through literal time and space to reassemble her in the janitorial closet of a bank. So much for introductions, she wryly thought as she was 'built' inside the closet with several other members of the team. She would fight the natural instinct to open the door immeadiatly. She'd reign in her hand, outstretched for the knob. She got her bearings as her eyes slowly adjusted. It not only stank of janitorial workings but also the scent of sweat and deodorant. She'd wiggle her nose at the smells combining into one concoction of a musky stench. Irina blinked and nodded towards the others in the room with her. She would hold her breath, knowing she hadn't brushed her teeth this morning; it'd been busy morning. She patted her hip; handcannon was still there. She looked down; armor was thick, nice and safe, but it was clunky and very difficult to operate effectively inside, not to mention for someone as reliant on speed as her. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth to speak

"What's the dealio? Any SITREP from security guards or cameras inside?"

She was concerned and wasn't planning to make a move until she knew the hallway was cleared. Her body was lodged up against the door tightly and the other members. She sighed as no one came through immeadiatly. She had tools for this anyways. She takes out a long silver cord, almost like a bungee cord with a solid silver cylinder on the end. She plugged the auxiliary chord into her PDA, which sprang open holographically, a damp purple light filling the room. The 'snake' camera would slither underneath teh door and check left and right, clearing the hallways. The Nauvan wound up the snake and tucked it in the pouch once more. She'd flicker her eyes over to UV spectrum and she slowly opened the door, then burst out, silently falling to her front, drawing her pistol in a security braced stance. She pulls the hammer back as her eyesight flickered over to Infrared, the world plunging into a blue, heat signatures and lights turning orange and yellow. She could see feint traces of heat through the far wall but it could be a pipe. She would revert to standard viewing and look over her shoulder at the other squadmates. Hopefully they didn't mind her opening the door.

"Right clear."

She called out, signifying that the right hallway had been devoid of targets.

(Given that there is no 'Janitorial Closet' on the map, I will assume it is nearer the entrance of the bank.)

GRAFFINK

Graffink was not sure what to think about being in one place at one moment, and an entirely different one the next. She had been squished into a janitorial closet along with a fleshy one with cat ears, a fleshy one, and an ornge fleshy one. The orange fleshy one she had not seen before, but the huntmaster had mentioned her. She however, did not carry a weapon. Graffink had never encountered an orange fleshy one before. "Vrsshhhhmp. You strong, no weapon, shrrrrmmmshhh." She clicked her mandibles at the orange fleshy one. As the fleshy one with cat ears opened the door, Graffink basically lept out after her, making as much noise as possible. "CRRRRRRRAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAK" Her mandibles went, jittering excitedly, "Hunt is start!" She called to her fellow teammates, barreling through the door.

The door practically flew off its hinges as Graffink made her way through the doorway as nonchalantly as a nine foot tall, tank of a Nauvon could. That being said, not at all. All was still for a moment, there were quite a few fleshy ones laying flat on the ground. Graffink's observant blue gaze assumed they were pretending to be dead, because of the ones standing. Those, she immediately identified as the predators. If not for the smell of fear in the room that radiated off of everyone but them, it was because of the weapons they held in their hands. Guns. Black, shiny things, a whole assortment of them. Graffink hated those.

The moment of stillness was interrupted as one of the fleshy ones holding a gun pointed it at her and held down the trigger. Holding her left arm up to shield her face, Graffink launched herself forwards, bullets clanking off her armor, ricocheting this way and that. Smashing into the man with enough force to tip a large-ish wolly mammoth, Graffink didn't stop moving until she had rammed him into the counter. Coughing blood, the fleshy one's eyes rolled into the back of his head, a sickening snap was highly audible as his spine fractured and broke in multiple places. Another fleshy one tilted his firearm towards the mantis now too, and another, and another. More bullets clanked off of her protective outer shell, but one particular shot from a plasma rifle skinned the top of her head. Growling like a feind that was finally let loose, Graffink struck out with her left arm, faster than the blink of an eye. The man clutched at the bloody stump where his arm used to be. Grabbing the man by the throat and slamming him to the ground, three more blows from her striking arm hit the man:
*THWACKTHWACKTHWACK!* The man was still. Of course, after being slammed with a blade so hard that your midsection is seperated from your legs and your intestines have now developed an intimate bond with the floor, who wouldn't?

Turning to face the other fleshy ones in the room that had not yet run for cover, Graffink let out an ungodly screech. If they hadn't hid from her direct line of sight before, they did now. The prey, that is, the ones who were lying on the floor earlier, had made pitiful noises of distress and left in a hurried fashion. That was an understatement. They'd screamed like little girls and ran away. The bank robbers were too focused on Graffink to take hostages, in this room at least. Graffink raised her striking arm, bringing it down on an overturned table, smashing her clawed fist into the face of the man behind it. His tounge lolling out and his neck hanging at an odd angle as he hit the floor. Blood was spattered on the better part of her lower abdomen, she was a terrifying sight to behold. However, as more plasmafire flew at her, she realized that perhaps taking cover would be the best. Amidst the chaos, Graffink's deathly blue gaze swept the room to locate her fellow hunters.

Phi'gora looked in Irina's diection as she spoke irritably. She shrugged in response. The petite woman went straight to work. She pulled out a cylindrical camera to verify if anyone was outside the janitorial closet. The moment she said the words 'Right clear,' Graffink, a team member she has never met in her life, stepped out of the room crackling loudly with strange-like insect mating call. Irina and herself exchanged glances before acting. "The heck?!" she managed to say as she raced behind the over-grown insect. She hid behind a pillar as the colossal being thrashed against many armed men. She broke backs and necks, and spewed gallons of blood on the floor. Phi's prerogative was to make sure the civilians left the bank unharmed. Graffink served as a good distraction as she slowly nudged the hostages to follow her. As a few men noticed their leaving, she created a fire wall shielding them from their bullets. She led the hostages back to in the janitorial closet of were her team came from, and spoke briefly with the captain to teleport them out of here.

When she heard Graffink's screech, she hurried back worriedly only to find her new crew member tossing a table dramatically and taking out another criminal. As soon as the giant insect took cover, Phi'gora came to her aid. A flame flickered onto the palm of her hand then dissolved into an ointment. She placed it on the Nauvon's skin-like armor. It appeared she used her arm as a shield from the bullets. "This will harden and allow you to shield yourself once more," she explain to the Nauvon. "I'm Phi by the way," she said grinning from ear to ear. Irina used her snake-like camera again to check further ahead. Being the nosy demonic elf she was, Phi saw a few more hostages in the back. Now, the criminals were latching onto them for dear life. Graffink really gave them a scare. "We need a way to get those hostages out alive," she thought aloud. "We don't need you accidentally killing a civilian," she said pointing at Graffink. She fixed her body into a thinking posture. One hand under her chin while the other around her waist.

An imaginary light bulb popped in her head. "I got an idea," she inched closer to her two comrades, "I'm going to set the hostages on fire, but this fire is harmless. Its only to separate the bad guys from them and then you can you HAM!!!" she slammed her fist into her palm to emphasize on the word HAM. "Alright," she rubbed her hands together as she looked through Irina's camera to light the correct beings on 'fire.'

Adonis had apparently dealt with the others in the building after Ire dealt with her bugs, but when she came out of the room she didn't know what he was doing, entirely. Banging his head on the door..? Ire rolled her eyes and left the building, entering the hallway that was just outside the building to think. Her hair was beginning to flame a bit, mostly because of the tapping devices and Adonis' ignorance towards her. Why couldn't I be paired up with Phi're? Ire thought irritatingly to herself before recalling that the Captain had assigned her to a new task, something about a bank robbery.

That is NOT something I want to be a part of... Ire thought to herself with a frown, her hair sizzling the wall she leaned against. Her slender red-orange eyebrows were knitted together in frustration and confusion at what was going on with the tapping devices, the bank robbery, and her irritating partner. Not long after her mind began to wander, she spotted Jaenko in the hall. "Oh, hey Jaenko. We found all of the tapping devices here, Adonis is finishing up inside. One of the employees helped us, too, a droid female. You got anything?" Ire asked him, one of her bright eyebrows arched upon her pale grey forehead. Her eyes were filled with curiosity as she began to think more about the case and the people she interacted (sort of) with.

JAENKO

Jaenko facepalmed when Ireythalli told him about the female android. She'd checked this place. She swept the rooms. Did she not find it strange that the only person who had access to the whole complex didn't have a bug on her herself? "Ireyth," Jaenko said, quickening his pace just a bit, "I love ya, but that right there, the android, that's your problem." Continuing in the direction of Dory's office, the Nauvon explained his reasoning. "I don't know why, but she's the only one capable of this. She bugged the other droid and hacked him to keep him quiet. Not only could anyone else here not do that, but nobody else with those capabilities has access to both buildings." So Jaenko continued down the hall to Dory's office.

Jaenko was honestly not too happy. He tried the doorknob, and it worked, but the door wouldn't budge. At this point, Jaenko was no longer a very happy individual. He wasn't happy before, but this just made him peeved. Looking through the slight crackk between the door and the wall, Jaenko could see the emergency bolts were put into place. He sure was glad there wasn't a window in this office, or else Dory would have probably jumped through it by now. Gritting his teeth together, Jaenko planted his left foot squarely, smashing his right against the door. Once. Twice. On the third time, it broke, the screws finally pulling loose from their wooden fixations. But once inside, Jaenko scanned the room with his arm. No one was there. And Dory was on the loose.

Dory Android125

Whirr. Click. She turned her head towards Adonis after conversing about the tapped locations within her department. He seemed quite enthusiastic about the information she provided him, but quickly frowned when one of his fellow colleagues beat him to the punch. Her face remained emotionless, but her mind was racing, analyzing, and strategizing. This Jaenko, Sector 6-10 Engineer, is becoming a threat... she thought to herself. The monkey before Android kept running his mouth about his mission, it seemed his endless yapping wasn't going to come to an end. A few mechanical blinks later, she has finalized her plan to escape. She pointed towards Adonis and asked, "What's that?" When he turned to look behind himself, Dory's finger tip lifted and shot out a tranquilizer. She sprinted towards the man before he could collapse to the ground and leaped up into the ceiling tiles made of cheap mineral fiber.

She adjusted the tile back into its original position, but her collision with it caused it to crack slightly, but nothing too noticeable. She crawled within the dropped ceiling with Adonis on her back. He was her shield if she happened to be caught. Building 200 and 201 have been on lock down, in spite of that no one has thought to block above the ceiling drop. It was quite a distance, then again getting tired was never an issue for Androids. Dom. Dom. Dom. Dom. Light thumps were made from above, but her coworkers thought nothing of them.

If any organic being was a captain, they'd explode at the extent of work Andro was currently dealing with. Speaking of organic beings, Andro looked down towards Ayta. Her emotions were taking control of her physical state. So many things were ongoing and many things have passed within so little time. Jaenko, Phi'gora, Irethalli, and Adonis were sent on a mission to confiscate tapping devices within Sector 6's communications system. After an hour of searching, Jaenko finds a glitch in a neighboring bank. All meanwhile the ship gets invaded by some strange Nauvon who in eventually became an ally. The captain had to transfer his only Demonic Elf nurse to deal with the bank situation along with Irina, Shinjo, and the new comer Graffink. Not only was the captain watching the two ongoing missions, he now had to attend to his co-captain.

Activating emotions...

His expression softened, trying to express sympathy as much as he could. He knelt down before her, placing an arm on her shoulder while his thumb caressed it lightly. He knew not any words that would aid in Ayta's mourning, so he simply knelt beside her in silence, hoping it would be enough to sooth her emotional pain. As he did this, he rose his free hand to his corresponding ear. He tried to keep his expression calm as he took notice of Adonis' lack of communication with his team. Was he alright? he wondered.

"Jeanko. Irethalli, where's Adonis?" he whispered, trying not to concern his weeping comrade.

The last thing she needed was more stress. Organic bodies can handle only so much.

JAENKO

With a groan of exhasperation, Jaenko spun, jamming the bone growth of his right arm into the now pretty useless door. It was unnecessary yes, but it was how the chordation in him blew off steam. He glanced around the room, locating a computer, twisting his finger off and jamming it into the first outlet he could find. Scanning the computers software, he found in an isolated file all information gathered by the bugs. Gritting his teeth, Jaenko placed a hand on the side of his head, rubbing one of his horns. "You see this shit?" Jaenko said to ire, filing through the security cameras views once again, "You see this shit? Our day just got a whole, hellofalot more complicated." Camera after camera, image after image, even the ones in the bank, and Jaenko could not find Dory.

At that moment a transmission from the captain came in.
Jaenko. Irethalli, where's Adonis?" A soft voice came through his earpiece. Wiping his face, Jaenko picked it up before Irethalli did. "No clue cap, Ire and him split up. I don't see him on the security feed But we've got bigger problems, all bugs are gone, but we have a giant, purple android on the loose, and she's the one responsible. Continuously scrolling through the security footage and not finding any loops or abnormalities, Jaenko's mind raced. Had she cleared the building allready? Impossible. They were on lockdown. When Dory went to break out, she'd most definetely be heard or seen. And all exits were covered by cameras. Pressing a finger to his ear again, Jaenko spoke to the captain. "Check to see where his earpiece tracer is. But we've got a fugitive, friendo."

The clueless and innocent-minded elf looked at Jaenko with a confused expression on her face, not fully understanding the situation. The android..? Ire thought for a moment and then facepalmed. I am such an idiot... Ire thought to herself, having the desire to sulk but choosing to save it for later, since the situation at hand was more important than her own problems. Ire nodded at Jaenko and followed him back to building #201, listening to his explanation as they walked. "I don't know why, but she's the only one capable of this. She bugged the other droid and hacked him to keep him quiet. Not only could anyone else here not do that, but nobody else with those capabilities has access to both buildings." Ire nodded once more but remained silent as they approached the android's office after pushing through the building's doors.

The Chordation ended up having to kick the door down, since the android probably watched them return to where she resided and locked the door, giving her just enough time to...
"Yep..she's gone. Where the hell did Adonis go..?" Ire muttered to herself as she hung back, glancing around the building. Soon enough, even the captain noticed, his robotic voice crackling through on their earpieces. "Jaenko. Ireythalli, where's Adonis?" Before she could open her mouth to speak, Jaenko responded to the Captain. "No clue cap, Ire and him split up. I don't see him on the security feed But we've got bigger problems, all bugs are gone, but we have a giant, purple android on the loose, and she's the one responsible. Check to see where his earpiece tracer is. But we've got a fugitive, friendo." Ire nodded at Jaenko in agreement before speaking to the Captain herself.

"Jaenko is correct, I was with him in the android's office, and then I left to investigate another office. Last time I saw him was in her office...could she have done something to him? The office is empty and has no places for a... a body, so he's not here. Where could he have gone?" Ire asked both Jaenko and the Captain her question as well as herself, the grey-skinned female wondering out loud. This isn't good... Ire thought to herself, her red-orange eyebrows furrowed together in concern.

Lil'Ayta's gaze was fixated on the stars, the female Chordation lost in thought about Markus and his family, and how she was the cause of their future grief. How could I have let his life slip through like that? Ayta thought painfully, cupping her face with her hands. Her glowing tears stained her hands and didn't stop flowing until she was startled out of her grief by the Captain. Her face rose from where it had rested in her hands to face the Captain, who had placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and begun caressing it with his thumb in a repetitive motion. The female tried to give him a faint smile through her tears to show that she was alright, but she couldn't muster up the energy to fake anything.

His soft words brought her back to reality.
"Jaenko. Ireythalli, where's Adonis?" His words caused her to look up at him with wide eyes, the concern on her face obvious. Her earpiece was not connected to theirs for the moment, since she wasn't involved with the mission as much as the Captain was. Her blue skin paled further than it already was. Is Adonis okay? Ayta thought to herself, her forehead creasing where eyebrows would furrow together, if she had any. The spots on her face were already glowing brightly from grief over Markus, but they remained that way because of her newfound worry for Adonis. I need to be the Second-in-Command, not a shriveling, sobbing, mess. Ayta thought to herself, and although it hurt, Ayta shoved aside the emotions she was feeling at the moment and wiped her tears from her glowing face.

The female closed her eyes and took a few calming breaths, the presence of the Captain helping her calm down immensely, along with her breathing technique. After a minute or so, the spots on her face dimmed to a faint glow, and the tears on her face had dried. She wiped the remaining dampness from her face and opened her eyes to look at the Captain in determination.
"I'm okay." She told him firmly, then leaned forward to show a sign of affection, which wasn't usual for her. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, most likely startling him, and stayed like that for a moment, whispering a small, "Thank you." After releasing the Captain, Ayta grabbed his hand and squeezed with the same reassurance he had shown her, then let go and walked out of the Command Station. She had things to do.

???... Atsutane thinks to himself in Vols as he makes his way down the ship's corridor toward the elevator, clutching his left arm, which looks blackened and burned about halfway up the forearm. He berates himself mentally, stepping onto the elevator and hitting the button to go to the upper deck. If he'd been paying attention to that damn panel he would've noticed the crossed wires, but instead he had to receive a pretty bad shock from them to realize they were there. He half wishes that it was his cybernetic arm that got shocked, at least he could repair that himself without the pain and weird tingling numbness that were shooting up his organic arm in small waves.

The elevator doors open and he makes the short trip around the corridor to the infirmary. He steps through the door and looks around the room, noticing the room is empty. He wonders where Ayta is and what she could be doing, probably getting supplies or something. He shrugs, his mechanical shoulder clinking slightly as the lubricated metal joints rub together, and walks over to one of the beds. He hop ups onto it, shifting his wings a bit so he won't be sitting on them and dangles his legs over the side of the bed.

GRAFFINK

Graffink nodded respectively at the orange fleshy one. Now she understood that the fleshy one was not a fighter, but one that was called a 'medic'. Graffink had seen references to such beings in ships flight logs that she'd accessed, but all of them she'd seen were dead. She'd killed them. In her defense, they had either shot at her first, or had come into her hunting territory. Graffink held up her hand, examining its newfound hardness, clacking her mandibles with delight. "Krikikikik. Graffink thanks orange fleshy one. New tool for continued hunt."

Graffink was about to jump out of cover, and almost did, before the orange fleshy one stopped her.
"We don't need you accidentially killing a civilian." Graffink shrugged. "Shrrk. Natural selection." She explained. The fittest survived, and those who couldn't, didn't. It was a simple law Graffink had followed since birth. But nonetheless, she respected the orange fleshy one and stuck her position, grating one giant heel over the floor.

As the orange fleshy one described her plan, Graffink wiggled her antennas impatiently.
"Graffink shall await hunting call," she stated. Hence she lay in wait for the others to give the massive bulk of an insect the go-ahead. She had never heard of this 'ham' expression before, but Graffink sure did like the sound of it. Given the way the orange fleshy one smacked her fist, Graffink assumed to hit something very hard was to 'Ham' them. "Graffink ready to ham," she clacked quietly to herself, "Ham ham ham...

Captain Andro was not pleased with Jaenko nor Irethalli's response. At least, they were on top of each other, but Adonis was always careless. He was a great fighter and extremely agile. Those were the primary reasons Andro selected him. He needed someone fast. Breaking his train of thought, Ayta stood before him, looking slightly less overwhelmed. He smiled when she said she was okay and responded accordingly:

"I'm glad my second in command is operational."

She stepped closer to him causing him to feel a strange spike of heat. More than likely triggered by his programmed emotions. She held him for what seemed like hours, but she finished within seconds. Before parting from him, she whispered a thank you. He nodded in return meanwhile his 'emotions' were strangely acting up. He looked at his hand she had just squeezed and found himself smiling again. I feel more human... he thought. Without the emotions he installed, he wouldn't be able to solve issues as intricate as this one. Suddenly, his eyes rolled in response to Jaenko's comment.

"Check to see where his earpiece tracer is. But we've got a fugitive, friendo."

"I currently have his earpiece. Adonis left it in his locker," he spoke in a disapproving manner.

"The fugitive is important, but so is your comrade. I want everyone back in one piece."

After saying this, he recalled his first few years as a captain. Sparing his crews life was normal for him back then. His emotionless-self figured all the organic beings were replaceable. Now, with emotions, he knew better. He noticed an additional body in the ship; he was always keeping count. Strangely, he was in the infirmary. He arched his brow, expressing curiosity.

"Commander Ayta, you have a guest to attend to in the infirmary."

Dory Android125

Dom. Dom. Dom. Dom. All was going to plan as she was crawling as quietly as she could within the dropped ceiling. She was on top of the last cubicle in building 201, making her way to building 202. Little did the Android know that Adonis, despite being tranquilized, used all his feeble energy to slightly displace a few tiles Dory crawled past. He hopes the slight disfigurement would catch Jaenko or Irethalli's eyes.

(Sorry for the short length, but this is all I could muster.. I hope it's enough for the weekend. Maybe @CarpeNoctem1213 could play Dory.)
