Your character finds a "wolf" close to death while on a hunting trip a couple years back. He decided to nurse her back to health and the wolf never left his side since. He always found it curious that she was smarter than most animals, understanding his requests no matter what they were. She was always in tune to his emotions as well, attempting to comfort him whenever he was upset. She always helped him on hunting trips, making it much easier than on his own. She always wanted to change to her human form and to speak to him, but the way the townsfolk and he himself spoke about werewolves and such, made her never do it. They occasionally went on "werewolf" hunts when a sheep or some other livestock was slaughtered by some wild animal. The imaginations of the townsfolk fabricated some dangerous half man/half wolf creature that was most dangerous on full moons and at midnight, etc... when really they were what she was. She could be a wolf for as long as she'd like and a human for as long as she'd like, no full moon needed. What will your character do when mine changes into her human form when another werewolf (someone from her old pack from before she met your character) comes along on while on a hunting trip and forces her to show herself to him.

My character

Lupa, but your character uses whatever "pet" name he came up with for her (I can choose if you wish but I'll leave it open for you to decide)

History: She was once part of a pack, very similar to regular wolf packs but made of werewolves strictly. She was omega of her pack and when she finally had enough and challenged another member of the pack, she was nearly torn apart and left for dead, until your character came along and rescued her. Not used to such kindness, especially from a human, she vowed to always protect and stay by his side.

Lupa lays lazily takes a drink from the stream Tuck was fishing in before sauntering her way back over to him. She places her head in his lap with a contented sigh. The long winter was finally over and spring was in full bloom. She definitely preferred the warmer weather even if the cold didn't bother her. She just hated being cooped up all the time as winter always seemed to call for. It felt good to lay in the grass and enjoy the warm sun and feeling the slight breeze rustle her black fur. Her nose twitched at catching the smell of a couple marshmallows in his pocket, they were her favorite. She noses at the pocket before looking up at him with expecting eyes.

Tuck watched as the river flowed. Winter is such a harsh time for him. It was the only time of year he wished for electricity and the heaters it could potentially run. Luckily for him he had Onixa. He found her being attack by a pack of wolves near his cabin. The commotion was loud enough to get his attention. He went outside with his shotgun, and scared the living Jesus out of those mutts. 'That outta show 'em,' He recalled himself saying. Onixa kept him warm almost like an actual woman, but less annoying. Fortunately the owner of the sheeps he has herded gifted him wool blankets. Those were the best gifts he's ever received. He called after Onixa; he didn't like not being able to hear her footsteps. He found her putting her snout in his pockets, "Woah, woah, woah!" He ruffled her fur, "Those are mine." His rod began to pull forward, "Looks like we got a lil' flipper" He let the fish 'run' a bit, then reeled him back. He did this a few times before he was certain the fish was tired. He reeled the fish in, and he was right; it didn't put much of a fight. "We got it, Oni!!" He was on his feet now. He placed the fish into his bucket; it already had two smaller fish for Onixa. This big one is for himself. He patted Onixa on her head then said in his southern drawl, "Let's cook these mother f*ckers."

Tuck normally wore just jeans when he was home. He loathed shirts. And if he ever did wear clothing, it was when he was off to work. He owned a few plain white t-shirts and two or three plaids. He'd wash them every week in the river. He's quite the clean man despite the fact that he lives in the wilderness.

Lupa sighed in almost a pout-like manner when she was denied a marshmallow. She quickly got to her feet as he reels the fish in, bouncing around excitedly. She looks down into the bucket, wagging her tail happily at soon to be dinner. She yips in response to his cooking comment, pushing her head against his hand as he pats it and happily follows him home. She pauses for a moment and lifts her nose in the air catching a strange scent in the air but it wasn't strong. She didn't think twice about it, it was spring and a lot of things moved through the area in the spring time, migrating back, looking for a mate, etc... She picks up her pace to catch back up to Tuck and follows him inside the cabin once they reached home. She goes over to an old tattered blanket that she had claimed as her own from the first day she set food in the cabin. She lays down on it watching Tuck as he prepared the fish.

Finally, when Tuck's cabin was in plain view, he saw Onixa rush to her tattered blanket... I really outta clean that blanket of hers. He then rolled his eyes, "What are ya doing laying 'bout?" He shifted his hip to the side, and placed his hands on his waist, "You want food? Ye better help." He has known from previous experience with Onixa that she wasn't no ordinary wolf. She understood English, and responds to it almost like a human would. "Mind placing some wood into the fire pit?" He lifted the bucket of fish, "I got to shave these darn fishes. Unless you want your fish raw with scales," he looked at Onixa intently.

She gets up and lets out what sounds like a groan and saunters her way out of the cabin. She makes her way over to the wood pile and starts carrying one by one in her mouth, a log to the fire pit. After finishing with the fire pit she makes her way over to Tuck's side, sitting down next to him, watching him turn the fish into filets to be cooked. She sighs a little, feeling bad about not being able to help more in this form. She would love to show him her human form but there's no way he would understand and she couldn't risk being cast out by him. She cared too much for him to be tossed aside, that would destroy her. She tilts her head a little in thought, she could barely remember what being a human was like.

Tuck was almost done preparing the fish. He looked at Onixa in surprise, "Done?" He let out a chuckle and kneeled down to pet her. "You're so beautiful," he began to say and kissed her on the nose. "I wish Ofelia would of meant cha," his face went serious. He stood up and continued prepping the fish. On the counter was a photo of Tuck and Ofelia. She had thick arms; she wasn't ashamed of her looks nor her strength. It was quite the opposite. She would flaunt her strength and challenge men to arm wrestles all the time. She was a tough woman and that's why Tuck loved her. It was a shame she had passed away. She died because the doctors couldn't figure out her illness quick enough. When she died, Tuck didn't care for the diagnosis.

Tuck rinsed the bucket, then placed the fishes back inside. He squeezed some lemon and shook some salt and garlic to season it. "Let's go, baby," Tuck left outside towards the fire pit. With a whet stone and a knife he flint some flames into the pit. He placed the fish into a pot hung over the fire and watched it cook. He sat by the fire and began to hum an unfamiliar tune.

Lupa's tail wags happily at the kiss on her nose before her ears go back and she let's out a soft whine when he mentions Ofelia, not liking when he was unhappy and she knew Ofelia was a bittersweet topic to him. She follows him over to the pit and lays down next to him, wagging her tail softly while listening to his humming. She loved the sound of his voice, no matter what form it came in. She looked at him goofily before sitting up and lets her head fall back and starts to howl along to his humming. (Question! I'm debating whether or not to go on building Tuck and Lupa/Onixa's relationship dynamic for a bit while or I can have the rouge wolf come into camp during dinner. I'm 50/50 about it so I would just like to see what you'd prefer)

Tuck laughed when Onixa howled along with his humming, "Atta, girl!". The smell of the fish cooking caused Tuck's stomach to growl. He peeped into the pot to see if the food was well done; yes it was. He inhaled the scent of the fish happily then with a towel, he took the pot out of the fire. He got a bowl for Oni and a plate for himself. He slabbed both Oni's and his food with a fork onto the bowl and plate. "Bon apetite," Tuck said in a strange accent. "Don't burn ya tongue, lil' missy" He warned.

Lupa sits in front of her bowl, staring at it while she was waiting for it to cool. She nosed it around in her bowl until she decided it was cool enough and ate the fish happily. Her ears quickly perked up when she heard a snap not too far off. Her fur bristled as she sniffed the air, something wasn't right. A deer wouldn't dare come this close and nothing smaller would snap a twig. She moves in between Tuck and where she heard the snap. A low growl came from her throat, her hair on end, tail up, as she crept forward. She shakes her head at hearing a voice in it, it had been so long since she had been near another werewolf.

"Lupa.... my how you have fallen..."
A grey and white wolf stepped out of the shadows, blending into the scenery with the sun setting in the background, larger in size than most wolves. He turns his attention off of Lupa to examine the human behind her to find his view was quickly blocked by a snarling Lupa.

"Kenai...you are not welcome here....."
Snarling and baring her teeth towards him, ready to attack if he made a move towards Tuck.

"I'm welcome wherever I please.... I got reminiscent and decided to pay a visit to the old hunting groups and imagine my surprise when I heard a familiar howl. I thought I left you for dead years ago and now I see you've been a "pet", how suiting. You never would survive on your own" He turns his attention back to Tuck. "He doesn't know does he? Oh that's brilliant. I have a proposition for you. I'll leave your human alive if you show him your human form. Don't think of it as me teasing you, think of it as teaching you a valuable lesson about humans"

"I will do no such thing and you will leave!" Snaps her teeth threateningly at the other wolf, all of this just looking like growling, snarling, and aggressive posturing to Tuck.

Tuck gave out a loud laugh, "My Onixa! You were hungry!" He ruffled the fur on the top of her head until he saw her perk her ears up, "What's wrong, girl?" He shuffled back to pick up the nearest weapon. On a crate near the front entrance of his home, there was an axe from lumbering at work earlier. He grabbed it and quickly stood up. He saw Onixa trying to protect him, but he didn't want her to get hurt. "You leave Oni alone!" He growled while approaching the wolf with his axe. He swung at the air to give the wolf a hint of his strength.

Kenai takes a step back as Tuck swung the axe. "Aww how cute he even has a nickname for you....." Rushes at Tuck and grabs a hold of leg pulling him to the ground before jumping back before Tuck had a chance to swing the axe at him and looks at Lupa just in time to get rolled as she rammed herself into him. "You know I can do worse than that Lupa..... show him or I'll end it now.... one quick bite to the throat is all I need. You're lucky I'm granting you this much, humans are filthy idiots" He gets up back up to his feet.

"Not this one..." She watches as Kenai starts to circle around Tuck again. She looks back at Tuck with a whine, conflicted, before back at Kenai. "Fine! I'll do it, just back off!" She makes her way over to Tuck and gives a strange whine, licking his hand gently before sauntering a few feet away from him. She looks behind her to see that Kenai had backed away some, sitting down with a seemingly amused expression of his face. She sighs before looking back at Tuck. In a matter of a moments a slender girl stood once where Onixa was. Her limbs long and seemingly agile, as they were in her wolf form. She shakily gains her balance as she stands on two feet, it had been some time. She had the same color hair as the wolf, the same brownish highlights throughout the darkness of the black. She meekly looks up at Tuck and there was no denying those eyes. They were the same that had watched him so diligently these past few years. "Hello Tuck" Her voice obviously sounded like it hadn't been used in a while, but the current quiet and rawness of it suited her. She wore a tattered black t-shirt and a pair of worn in jeans, the last thing she was wearing as a human.

Tuck smiled when he saw the opposing wolf jump back from his swing. He was taken aback when it bit on his leg and made him lose balance. He noticed Onixa and this wolf were communicating. They weren't barking ferociously at each other, they were just giving each other stares. Tuck felt Onixa lick his hand then whined. He thought to himself... What's the matter, girl? He noticed the other wolf backing off, but sat after some distance like it was watching some show. "Back off you animal!" Tuck said annoyed by the wolf's mannerisms; he swung his axe in its direction. He noticed the wolf looking past him at Onixa. Tuck looked back to find a woman struggling to get up, "What the...?" Where was Onixa? Where did this woman come from? He heard her say something, but he was too worried about the well-being of this woman and Onixa to understand. He quickly stood up and went in the direction of this woman. "Hold on to me, miss," he said to the woman then yelled, "Onixa! Onixa!!" He was slowly walking towards the entrance of his cabin while escorting this young, mysterious woman to safety. He held out his axe, pointing it in the direction of where the wolf was, as if warning it to stay away. "Get inside!" he ordered the woman. "Onixa!! Where are you, baby? Onixa!!" He quickly rushed inside his cabin and grabbed his shotgun. He went back outside to find that the wolf has departed already. "Onixa!!" He whistled loudly, "Here, girl! Come here!"

Lupa sighs a little, half tempted to change back into the wolf and pretend this never happened since he wasn't putting the pieces together. But how long could she keep this form from him. Kenai would probably be back and it'd happen all over again. Did she really want to hide this side form him all his life? She makes her back outside to Tuck. "Tuck.... sweet wonderful Tuck" She says and places a hand on his arm. "I am Onixa. I would never make you call for me twice. You know that...." She looks at him, searching his face for what his reaction would be, ready to take off at any minute if things turned the wrong way.

Tuck was staring outside into the dark wilderness outside his home. A tear trickled down his eye... Not Onixa too. He felt a hand on his arm, "Ho-how do you know my...?" He stopped and allowed her to continue speaking. He was speechless. "Miss, are you okay?" He looked at her bewilderingly. He chuckled and wiped the tear from his eye, "Uh, miss, Onixa is my dog. Wh-why don't you lay down? You must need rest." He laid one long last look into the darkness outside before reentering his home. He placed his palm on her mid-back, escorting her to his bed. "Here. Sleep on ma bed. I don't mind sleeping on the floor," he said in a sad southern voice.

She sighs a bit frustratedly before turning around and looks at him, making sure he was watching. She closes her eyes briefly before changing into her familiar black wolf form and then back into her human form a few moments after that. She looks at him curious about his reaction. "I am Onixa, well actually Lupa and I'm not a dog I'm a wolf" she says a little offended. Her expression soon turns to worry. "If you want me to leave I will I'd understand. .."

Tuck heard the woman sigh frustratingly... She must not be tired. He thought. She turned around to face him. Damn she's gorgeous. For a crazy woman... a sly smile came on his lips. Before he could think or say anything, the woman turned into Onixa then back to human. "Woah, I need a drink," he said wide eyed. He went towards the sink and opened a cabinet underneath it. He grabbed a jug of filtered water and jugged it down. "Ju-just..." while not looking at her, her motioned for her to stop with his hand, "... gimme a sec, kay." He found himself a wooden chair and ran his rough fingers through his hair as he sat. He was looking at the floor. "Just... sleep in the bed for now," he shook his head, confused. "I-I'll just..." Tuck simply didn't know what to think, "I'll sleep on the floor." Knowing Onixa, she'd probably wouldn't like the idea of him sleeping on the floor. Tuck raised his hand up, "I don't want to hear it. I don't want you shiftin'. Just lemme sleep, kay?" Finally, he looked up at her, his eyes wide and confused. He got himself a sleepingbag and placed it by his bed. "G'night."

"But....." she sighs at his protest. Biting her lip the whole time he paced around the cabin. She watches him get settled in his sleeping bag and climbs into bed herself. She crawls under the blankets, sleeping in the human form was always strange to her. She eventually fell asleep the smell of him on the pillow soothed her. The next morning she was laying on her belly and she had one arm draped off the bed, her fingertips barely touching him. She was still fast asleep, her hair had fallen in her face.

Tuck woke up with a loud yawn. His brows arched as he mentally questioned why he was on the floor sleeping. He looked up at his bed then said, "Oh." He saw Onixa's hand nearly touching his hairs on his chest. He moved slowly trying not to wake or touch her. He stood looking at her as she laid in his bed. This... is real... he said to himself as he finally accepted the situation. The only woman in life wasn't just a wolf, but a human too. A darn good lookin' one... He said as he analyzed her curves. Now, their relationship is not going to be the same. She'll be able to voice her opinion now. Tuck doesn't know if that'll be a good or bad thing. He can't stand the idea of her shifting to and from human form to wolf. He's going to have to make Onixa pick a form: human or wolf. He won't stand for both. On a little sheet of paper on the door, he wrote that he'll be back. He left on the wooden chair clothing that used to belong to Ofelia; he never threw away her things.

"Hey, boys." Tuck greeted his fellow colleagues. "What are we cuttin' up today?" His boss showed him a map of the trees that needed to be cut down. "Where's Onixa?" his boss asked. "She was still sleeping, so I decided to leave her home." His boss looked at him oddly. "That's not the usual. Better check that out." Tuck gave his boss a nod and continued back to work.

Several hours has gone by and Tuck has finally finished his part in lumbering trees. He went home, not too excitedly. He parked his faded, blue truck at the front of his home. As he exited his truck, slapping its rear like it was the bottom of a girl's bum.

She finally rolled out of bed and looks around for Tuck. She spots the note and frowns, her feelings hurt about him leaving her behind. She fingers the clothes he left for her, debating for an hour before finally deciding to put them on. She tidied up the cabin and made a dinner of rabbit and carrots for dinner while he was gone, doing whatever she could to make him want to keep her around. She looks towards the door when she heard his truck. She opens the door right as he reached to open it. "You left me! You should have woken me I would of came to work with you" she states moving aside so he could come inside. "I... made dinner for you..."

When Onixa opened the door of his cabin to the sound of his truck; he cringed. She did not look too happy, and like any woman; she expressed it. He was taken aback when she added that she has made dinner. "Oh," was all he managed to say as he walked passed her into his home. Once the door was closed, he began speaking, "We haven't even spoken 'bout yesterday." Tuck said to her sternly, "How did ye expect me to take you to work with all the emotions you've been puttin' me through?" He crossed his arms, "Now, if you want to be with me..." he paused for a moment, "... you can either be Onixa or this human girl." He gestured toward her when he said 'human girl.' She has said her real name to him, but too much was going through his mind to remember the name she's given him.

She sighs and feels bad for being upset about not taking her. How was she to expect things would still be normal. She stares at him incredulously as he makes her choose one or the other. She was just as much wolf as she was girl. Could she choose to give up running through the forest and hunting or the ability to talk to him and really touch him. "You can't be serious you wouldn't survive without my hunting ability..." her face drops, maybe that's what he wanted, her in her wolf form and things to be normal again. Maybe he didn't think she was pretty, she could never replace Ofelia. Tears started welling in her eyes but she quickly regained her composure. "My name is Lupa, not "human girl" I can't possibly choose. One part is as much of my soul as the other.... whichever would make you happy is the form I want to be..." she was completely honest with the last part, realizing all she wanted was to make him happy.

Tuck slapped his forehead. She is just as indecisive as any woman. His hand slowly rubbed down his face as he gave her a 'Are you kidding me?' look. "Okay, Lupa," he started off, but saw she was emotionally affected as well. He looked to the side, unsure what to say at the moment, "I have hunted just fine before you came 'round. If you want things to be the same as before, then so be it. But, if you want to develop a different kind of relationship with me, I don't mind it." He held up his finger in a warning like notion, "If the relationship goes wrong, it goes wrong. You hear?" He crossed his arms again, "That is if you want to change things between us." Before she could say an other thing, he added, "You can make your decision now or later tonight, but no shiftin' until your decision is clear. I ain't makin' decisions for ya." his southern drawl was loud and clear.

His southern drawl always made her melt a little. She can't help but smile a little, even if she changed he sure hadn't. He was the same Tuck she knew from the beginning and that's what she liked about him. She sighs a bit defeatedly, he was making decisions for her, but for him she'd bring the moon. "Well I plan to stay in this form unless you wish otherwise. You say you can hunt on your own so be it. I'd like for you to get to know me better and maybe get to know you better in a different way." She looks at her feet, blushing a little, hoping she didn't over step her boundaries. "But I plan to sleep on the floor, I'm not taking over your bed..." She looks back up at him. "So let's eat dinner maybe?"

Tuck nodded his head slowly as Lupa spoke. When she paused and looked at her feet he responded, "Like I said, I don't mind." Tuck let out a chuckled when Lupa said she was going to sleep on the floor. "You're not my slave, dog, wolf, whatever. I ain't letting a woman sleep on MY floor." He lifted his arms up in flaunting manner, "These are arms made for work, I could make you a bed, and yes, dinner now sounds great." He sniffed the air; it smelled of rabbit and carrots. He pulled on a wooden chair and sat on it by the table. "I haven't have had food cook for me since I last lived with my momma. Let's see how good of a cook you are."
