Schoolgirl x Kaneki [Tokyo Ghoul Idea]

(My eyes are brown, you got it right! ^_^ And I think it's baristas, but I'm not sure... Lolz!)

"Quadratic Equations..." Sukai blushed the tone of her voice clearly showing how well she did in her math class, "It's all the details, that get me. I like things to be straight-forward and to the point. Like when I'm hungry for chocolate, I need it to be real chocolate. Not white chocolate! Oooh... That was lame wasn't it?" She asked hinting at the phrase 'bad example' a bit. She was quite the awkward chick, when the Moon wasn't up!

(I have an idea maybe here Kaneki awakens his I forget what they're called so Im gonna call them red tentacles Kaneki awakens his red tentacles when Nishiki pops out from somewhere and like stabs Suaki or something... I don't know though)

(You mean Kagune? The one thing I remembered from having to search Wiki for the name of... (o'v'o)(B')I'm not always good with names! Anyway I love the idea, like Nishiki wants to eat Sukai because his girlfriend has been busy and Kaneki saves her? And then Kaneki eats more of her, revealing their love to the worst possible person [at this point in the series...]!)

Kaneki chuckled a little at her remark about chocolate ,"Yeah, that was a pretty lame..." He said, teasing her. "But, I get what you're getting at so it wasn't completely off the charts lame," Kaneki then showed Sukai some steps to take and things to remember and some example problems for her to do. He also took the occasional sip of coffee, and marveled over the very interesting and kind person he was talking to. When he had these thoughts he blushed a little, but only for a few seconds. After he was about halfway done with his coffee he put another cube in his coffee and stirred it, giving Suaki another problem

(Gotta love Wiki sometimes :P , and yeah I like that idea!)

"Ah..." Sukai nodded listening to the examples and taking notes; as she worked out some of the problems. "Do those cubes taste any good?" She asked out of pure curiosity; she knew she'd never taste one (unless she became a ghoul to be with Kaneki... *cough, cough, idea, clears throat*) but being the curious kitten she was she wanted to find out his perspective on this intense topic! ;) (Yea, Wiki is the dictionary for Otakus! So will we make everyone in the coffee shop disappear after they talk for like hours then when Kaneki uses the bathroom or something; Nishiki is all like "It's Mr. Steal Yo Girl!"? I know that was a lame reference...)! "I'm sorry if I offended you..." She bows her head, awkwardly also being too polite as usual!

(Well, how can she become a ghoul? And sure that can happen soon ^.^)

Kaneki was obviously not prepared for this question, "No! that's not offensive at all! Um, well, I think they taste really good... but that's because they're made for ghouls and are probably filled with blood or something." he said with an awkward smile while rubbing his neck, "I got them from a friend, they're supposed to help me control my hunger," After giving Sukai a few more problems he was seeing that she was getting the hang of it, "Hey, you're getting really good at quadratic equations!" He complimented as he help up the paper with the problem and smiled at her

(If you're still online good morning and if you get this later, good afternoon! ^_^ And yea we can figure it out.)

"Why thank you!" Sukai smiled back at him, as she finished up the problems he had given her and continued finishing up the problems in her homework. "And that's interesting, thanks for telling me. And I'm glad I didn't offend you..." She grinned cheerfully as she finally folded up her math book having finished up the homework she had to practice for this week. "Now what can I help you with?" Sukai smiled ready to help in him in history, one of her better subjects! (History is the bomb! (B'))

(True that! :P but I'm more of a chemistry and physics person myself)

Kaneki gave a soft smile and pulled out his Asian History book, "This," he said as he put the large book on the table, "I've missed some notes so now I'm completely lost." Kaneki brought out his pencil and set it near the book and finished his coffee. "So do you think you help me catch up?" he asked her as he admired her sparkling eyes and beautiful facial features. Kaneki felt a light blush come over his face, but shook it off. (Building this up for the Nishiki battle)

(I understand! I like the suspense! ^_^ )

Sukai begins reading the book and sees the bookmarked page, "Let's see the Ching Dynasty. That's something I saw a movie about, I see you're studying the Chinese Moon Festival." She explained understanding what he missed, "See the Moon Festival begins here." Sukai pointed at the paragraph that he missed and smiled at him cheerfully. (Sorry I'm late my old computer got a new battery and I've been making it work for two hours now... ^///^!)

"The Chinese Moon Festival..." Kaneki thought aloud. "I think I remeber reading a bit about that... before the incident." Kaneki looked down at his hands thinking about Rize and the trust he had for her. Kaneki looked back at Sukai and gave her a smile, knowing that she wouldn't betray him. "So can you help me out with the details?" He asked her

"Oh yea it says the Chinese Moon Festival happens every February, in order to celebrate the perfect completion of the New Year as well as the new cycle of Moons beginning in history." Sukai smiled, feeling safer and safer around Kaneki leaning a bit closer to him. "It's actually near my Birthday, believe it or not!" She grinned winking innocently, hoping to make him smile a bit...

(Ok, actually I have a few more minutes, so I'm gonna rewatch Tokyo Ghoul and write this reply! Ghoul be with you xD )

Kaneki jotted down what she was telling him about the festival, when she told him about her birthday, he smiled at her. "So when is your birthday?" he asked curiously.

(Be on in like 20 min >.<)

(Lolz, that's a good idea! And yea I've been feeling the lame puns lately... ^_^ Looking forward to it. When you read this, I've already replied and I just became a Sailor Obvious...)

"February 28th, when is yours?" Sukai asked still reading the information and taking notes herself because it was so interesting! "See Moon Cakes are the traditional dessert made to celebrate the Festival? They're not your average Moon Pies. Often filled with fruit mixes and made with rice-gluten; I've googled them before they look so delicious!" She smiled, in an explanatory mannerism while a quick thought of Nishiki biting her passed her mind making her eyes grow wide but not bothering her enough to tell Kaneki of course!

(You've hit the bottom with sailor obvious.... xD , btw nice idea about Nishiki)

Kaneki jotted down some more notes about Moon Cakes, "My birthday is December 20th," he stated as he looked up with a soft smile and looked into Suaki's eyes, he saw something change in her eyes. Fear, excitement? It was only for a second though, so he decided not to push it, "Um, it also talks about lanterns. What's that about?" He asked her getting ready to write some more notes

(Lol, I'll stop now... And thanks! ^_^ )

"That's nice, you're a December Baby!" She smiled with a quick wink, possibly referencing the fact he could get two types of presents for his holiday celebrations. But since she didn't know what religion or spiritually he was, she didn't want to be offensive... As usual! "And yea, it says at the end of the parade the festival goers release these lanterns to celebrate the completion of the Moon Festival and in doing so thanking the Heavens for providing for them. That's so interesting!" Sukai explained thoughtfully.

"Wow. That is pretty amazing!" Kaneki exclaimed as he was finishing up his notes, "hey, do you want another coffee?" He asked Sukai. He actually wanted another one, but he didn't want to make it seem like she had to get one. Kaneki stretched his arms up in the air and smiled. As he put his arms down he swore caught the scent of another ghoul, but it was only for a moment and sometimes his sense of smell was a little off.

"Thank you! And sure, another iced coffee sounds great..." Sukai nodded, cheerfully. "You know I've always wanted to make Moon Cakes but I've never had the guts because I'm always scared I'm going to burn down my apartment in the process." She explained thoughtfully, feeling extremely comfortable. "Hmm?" Sukai felt someone watching them as she looked carefully and noticed someone reading a newspaper and acting nonchalant. This person didn't give off the best vibes! "I wonder..." She thought aloud, her eyes twinkling in concern...

"Did you feel that?" He whispered getting right to the point. Kaneki followed Sukai's gaze over to a main reading a newspaper. It was covering his face, so you could only make out the top of his head, "Do you think he's a threat?" He asked her, a little confused.

"He might be... I just get this bad feeling, from him..." Sukai whispered, "When Nishiki and I first met he seemed to have this dominating personality around me. Since he's my teacher, I didn't think much of it but I still don't feel completely safe thinking about him..." She explained whispering, quietly.

Kaneki's eyes grew wide, "Nishiki! You know Nishiki!" He said in a loud whisper. This shocked Kaneki, from she said it sounds like the Nishiki, the one tried to kill him in the alley (Or are we far enough where Hide was there too, like after school?)

(Yea, Hide can be there just chilling and flirting with Touka who's like "No..." lolz!)

"Yea, didn't I tell you? He was the other Ghoul I met..." She whispered in a hushed tone, "He warned me about the dangers of Ghouls but if I remember right he hugged me at some point. Or perhaps that was before I fainted..." Sukai spoke quietly; as she thought about it in a cute pose with her index finger on her chin. "Hmm? That was like a week ago..." She explained thoughtfully.

'Nishiki, getting close to people is your game, isn't it, first Hide now Sukai...' Kaneki thought. "Well, I think it's best if you stay away from him, I don't want to tell you what to do, but I'm not letting anyone hurt my friends anymore." He said, still whispering. Kaneki took another glance at the guy with the newspaper and looked back at Sukai, "Well, I'll go get us some more coffee," he said as he stood up. He then walked over to the main counter and asked the worker for another cup of black coffee and an iced coffee, "Please bring it to that table," Kaneki said pointing at the table that they were studying at. The waiter nodded and walked back into the kitchen to get the coffee. Kaneki walked back over to the table and sat down

"I'm fine with that... But are you okay?" Sukai asked gently placing her hand onto the top of his shoulder, "If you need to, you can have more later..." She knew he knew what she meant (that's a mouthful xD ), as she whispered super softly in his ear; keeping one eye on Kaneki and the other on the man still reading the newspaper intently. (Who is going to play Nishiki? I'm just curious! ^_^ ).
