Kaneki grew wide eyed he looked at her and lightly blushed out of embarrassment for not knowing her name and partially out of excitement for seeing again so soon, "Hey!" He said with awkward smile. He then glanced at the girl's friend wondering if she knew what happened last night.

"Oh, Maria... This is my friend, the one who served me the best frappuchino in town!" Sukai explained, "Oh, I see Sukai... This is the one!" Maria smirked deviously, "What do you mean, Marie-Chan?" She asked curiously. "Maybe there's another reason you've got that bandage ehh?" Maria giggled cleverly. "No-ohh!" Sukai blushed awkwardly, "I'm not that kinky... And we're just friends at the moment!" She explained blushing heavily. "Right, Kaneki?" Sukai asked, anxiously reading his name on the back of one of his textbooks. As she wondered why Maria would even suggest such a thing! A twisted thing at that...

Kaneki I blushed even harder, "Yeah, Sukai and I are just friends!" He said looking at her wrist which was probably not helping the situation. Kaneki then looked back at Maria, "Um, you'll have to make me some of that coffee later," he told her, "But could you give us a moment right now?" He asked her and adjusted his eyepatch on his head

Maria nodded and winked at Sukai, "Yea, what's wrong Kaneki?" Sukai asked in concern for him. "I didn't tell her anything about you know... Our thing." She whispered so quiet, she could barely hear herself. "So what's going on?" Sukai asked, already sensing they would be heading to another, more secluded room in the hallway... (I feel kind of dirty writing this lolz! It sounds like something it's not... xD )

Kaneki looked around to make sure no one watching. He then backed up and motioned for Sukai to follow him into an older classroom used for storage. "Hey... About last night... I'm really sorry for any pain I caused you. I was starving, yet you asked me to take a bite and I can't think of anyway to repay you," Kaneki looked down at his feet and blushed. A few moments later he looked back up at her and smiled at her, "Thank you, Suaki," Kaneki then started to turn around, but to his surprise, he turned back and did something even he thought he would do, he leaned in for a kiss

Sukai was a bit taken back watching Kaneki lean in for a kiss, so she did what any sensible girl would do in this situation... She kissed him on the cheek! Although she was slightly to slap him for being so forward, seeing as they had just met last night. "You're welcome... Now let me do something, I've always wanted to do..." She smirked placing her hands firmly onto the top of his shoulders and kissing his neck; digging her teeth into it for a few moments only to quickly pull herself back and apologize. "Sorry! I'm not a ghoul.. I'm just weird..." She blushed innocently, bowing to him.

Kaneki was recovering from What just happened but when Sukai kissed him on the neck and then went and dug her teeth in, Kaneki felt a wave of shock and excitement. When she pulled back and called herself weird he chucked and gave her a smile, "Don't worry, being weird's ok," he said to her trying to replicate what she said last night.


(Hey I gtg to sleep I have an early wake up tomorrow and like I said I only got 3 hours last night, Goodnight! Oh, and I won't be on till about 4 P.M CST, but I might reply early in the morning :3)

Sukai blushed and smiled at his kind words, "We're one in the same... Just two weird people!" She grinned casually, a bit turned on. "I only hope I can eat you up sometime!" Sukai winked cleverly, as she bowed to him; heading to leave yet she could sense there was a clear tension between them...


(That's fine, sweet dreams! And I'll be looking forward to it; I have homework and housekeeping to do tomorrow so don't worry! Have a nice sleep! )

Kaneki was surprised by her words, but couldn't help but simile. When Sukai turned away he figured it now or never, "Hey, Sukai... After school, do you wanna get some coffee and study with me?" Again Kaneki was surprised that he had the courage to do so, but he still blushed slightly at the thought of going on a date with her.

Sukai turned to back and bowed to him, "Yes. I'd love to!" She smiled, then bowed to him. "So I guess we'll talk to each-other this afternoon." Sukai was happy, glad she now had a new study-buddy; Maria was usually talking to her boyfriend or posting on Instagram... About her perfect life and her boyfriend! And her perfect cosplaying and her boyfriend... In other words, Maria kind of sucked and Sukai needed someone who wasn't so perfect; like her. "It's been nice meeting you, Kaneki." She grinned cheerfully. (I'm watching Fruits Basket right now, lolz!)

"Nice meet you too!" Kaneki said as he then walked outside of the old storage room. He was now a bit anxious, but, hey, now he had a new friend and someone to talk too. Kaneki spent the whole rest of his day thinking about what after school was going to be like, and he wasn't worrying about his hunger getting the better of him because of these new "sugar cubes" he received that could somewhat control his hunger. When Kaneki got done with classes, he packed up his homework and notes and went to meet Sukai outside in the courtyard.

Sukai was waiting in the courtyard, her brief-case in hand as she checked her watch. "Hey, Sukai-Chan... My boyfriend and I are going to be studying tonight; sorry!" Maria explained as she hugged her friend/scapegoat goodbye and Sukai bowed to her. "Have fun!" She smiled bowing, as she waited for Kaneki to pick her up for the refreshing walk to the coffee shop. Sukai loved the fresh air, the bright day; the broken clouds for some reason the day felt so new... She felt like a young Tohru Honda for the first time in a while!

Kaneki got outside and it only took him about 10 seconds to find Sukai. After spotting his friend he jogged over to her, "Hey, Sukai!" He greeted, "You ready to go to the coffee shop?" He asked with a smile on his face. He had one hand on his briefcase and used the other to adjust the eye-patch strap he wore when he was out in public, He still couldn't get over the fact that someone accepted him for who he was, but like she said the storage room, 'We're one in the same, just two weird people,'

"Hi, Kaneki!" She turned to him and bowed politely, "How are you?" Sukai asked curiously as she started walking next to him. "And yea, I'm looking forward to it I haven't a frap in two weeks... My girl Marie-Chan has been so busy lately, it's just become annoying..." Sukai explained being honest but still somewhat polite. "So what's your favorite flavor of coffee?" She asked.

"Im doing fine thank you! Haven't been that hungry, but I probably will be soon.." He replied and looked at her. He assumed she knew that a whole corpse could last a ghoul about a month, so he didn't go into detail. Kaneki listed to her talk about her friend Marie and nodded as she spoke understanding how that could be annoying. When Sukai asked him about his favorite flavor, he thought about a bit, "I don't know. I've only had it black with maybe a few sugars..." he said as he looked at her with a soft smile.

"I see, that's neat. I prefer iced coffee, if you couldn't already tell..." Sukai winked innocently, as they continued walking. "I'm glad you're well." She grinned at him, "So what are you studying this semester?" Sukai asked. "I hope I'm not being intrusive, but since we'll be studying you know it might help us if we know each-other's subjects?" She asked, blushing lightly...

Kaneki took a second before answering, "I'm studying Asian History this semester, How about you," he asked with the same smile he had before. Kaneki looked forward again and continued to enjoy the nice weather. He almost tempted to take off his eye-patch, but he decided against it.

"I'm studying English and Psychology." She smiled as she thought of something interesting thing to say... "What music do you like?" Sukai asked curiously, enjoying the conversation. "I like South Korean Pop or K-Pop, Chinese music, dance, electronica, rock, dubstep and a lot more... But what are you into?" She explained cheerfully, feeling the ghoulishly good vibrations! (I'm going to take a quick shower, I'll be right back! Okay?)

"Well, although I may not seem like it but I like dubstep and rock. I also listen to the occasional classical, but that's for when I need to calm down or when I read." He answered. It was new to him, someone asking him these questions, but he liked to answer them a bit later he felt like he needed to ask one, "So, what do you do for fun? I usually go to the coffee shop or read and listen to music. I used to go to the café and get hamburgers... But those don't sit right anymore."

"What are things I do like to do for fun?" She repeated, thinking of a good response. "Hmm... Dancing, eating, exercise, watching anime, reading manga and hanging out with my mom when I can." Sukai explained happily, "And I think it doesn't matter what you look like, you should have the right to love whatever music and whomever you like! You know?" She grinned worrying that she sounded like a preacher. "And classical music is still some of the best music, ever made! Beethoven, Sondheim, Bach..." Sukai listed some of her favorite artists/legends from the classical genre.

"Wow...." He said, dumbfounded. "You really have a way with words, Sukai!" He said with a grin. A few moments later they were approaching the coffee shop. Kaneki went ahead of Sukai and help the door open, letting her in first. He then followed behind letting her pick a seat.

"Thank you!" Sukai bowed as she walked in a picked a seat around a small table for two. "Shall we sit?" She asked cheerfully, as she set her backpack on the table and sat down. "So what do you like about dubstep?" Sukai asked wanting to learn more about her new friend, as she always liked to do with new people. No matter how cheesy that may have been!

"You know, I've never really asked myself why or what I like about it, but if I had so say something on the spot it would be the bass drops" Kaneki said with smile as he pulled out his chair and sat down pulling out his text book, a moment later, a waiter walked by, "What can I get for you two today?" He asked politley. Kaneki answered first, "May I please have a cup of black coffee," Kaneki asked with a polite smile, and then looked over at Sukai, "What would you like?" He asked her

"One caramel iced coffee, please..." Sukai smiled feeling like she was being watched, was it Nishiki or the girl she had a slight crush on Touka? Being a hormonal college student, it was easy for her to crush on people on and off... "That was a good answer. So how good would you say you are in math?" She asked sheepishly, as she bowed to the waiter.

The waiter walked away and posted the order up where the (Brewers?) could see it. "Umm I have a pretty high grade so far, what are you working on?" Kaneki asked? Righter after he asked the waiter came back with two coffees. After the waiter left he took out a small pouch and put in 2 "sugar cubes". After he stirred them up and dissolved them he took and sip and looked back into Sukai's (brown?) eyes.
