In other news, 21 consecutive win in the Battle Arcade! The Frontier Brains music theme when you fight them is really good though.

I had a dream about Estella the other day where she had a Morpeko instead of a Mimikyu. Like it attacked a person because it was in hangry mode and she would feed it any food she didn't want (ex: french fries). I'm almost tempted to have her catch one instead of a Clefairy later on.

If Louisa had chosen either Cindaquil or Chikorita instead of Totodile, I don’t think much else would’ve changed except for, like, team composition to help cover weaknesses.

after way too much time, I’ve finally got the fully evolved team together. hurrah to Louisa!

I’ll post the team comp with their non-HM moves at a later date. I don’t know if I’ll challenge the League a second time and fight Red on Mt. Silver.

Oof this is tough.

Anthony I think, would love a Arcanine as a pet. Fuzzy lil guy he can snuggle up with? Dogs are elite, though probs a Growlite for size convenience (he would not like getting kicked out of his bed lmao)

Zavion is uh....well he's got Scraps. Even though the dude is technically a fighter, he's moreso a companion. They do leisurely activities together all the time, which is very pet/companion coded. He wouldn't really want/need a pet bc his Scrafty is his pal already.

Mila is...well not 100% sure. Maybe a psychic type she could mentally communicate with that's a good friend. I could low-key see her having a Natu, maybe a Woobat. Optionally, the funny idea of a Machamp or Aggron who has a pretty lil bow. "This is Fluffy" she says, introducing the absolute behemoth standing behind her.
