1.) how much younger?I might make a younger char.
Yep!Gamerkitty do you have the first island planned out?
JusticeCarpenter Welcome. Any ideas on a character?
So far we have an animal charmer, a hunter, a medic, and a marksman
Well, based on what I read, you don't exactly have a close quarters specialist. The hunter might be capable, but every good party needs a tank. Thus, the first thing that popped into my mind that would also be entertaining was a mix of Lucha Libre, bar brawling, and using carpenter's tools.
Yeah making new Devil Fruits is fineNow, here's a question: are we allowed to come up with ideas for Devil Fruits? Because I have an idea or two. Not necessarily for my character. Just stuff to keep in mind for anyone who wants to use them, or maybe even for enemies.
Giant-Giant Fruit: Model: Oni. Fairly obvious.
Spirit-Spirit Fruit. Contact the dead and other supernatural beings, and gain their assistance. Most common usage: calling upon the spirits of ancestors, personal idols, or legends for advice or instruction.
Cling-Cling Fruit: Be able to effectively stay attached to something even if you shouldn't be able to, such as making sure you stick to a wall even if you've only got one finger touching it, or, less obviously, forcing yourself to resist torture by sticking with what you believe, staying alive when you should be dead by clinging to life, or making cuts stop bleeding by pinching the wound as close to shut as you can and making the flesh cling to itself. Requires conscious effort most of the time.

The Oni fruit, most likely, would be a mythical zoan. Now, here's a question: are we allowed to come up with ideas for Devil Fruits? Because I have an idea or two. Not necessarily for my character. Just stuff to keep in mind for anyone who wants to use them, or maybe even for enemies.

Oh, don't get me wrong, normal Luchadors are fairly agile, and a pirate Luchador that's going to sail through Mother Nature's acid trip called The Grand Line is gonna still be ridiculous. But yes, Dusty is going to be slower than most foes on his level by a fair margin. Thing is, most people, when they think about someone large, strong, and being a close quarters fighter, think about dumb muscle. Someone who relies too much on being rough and tough to win, rather than using their brain. Thing is, people forget that a fighter can still have higher Intelligence and Wisdom stats than 10. That, and carpentry is an underused skill when it comes to decimating things that are made of wood, such as ships and buildings.JusticeCarpenter Also I like what you've typed so far of your character. I don't usually see people going the oversized strength-type route.
Fair points.
