  or as long as anyone could remember, Humans and Monsters have been on opposite sides of a great divide, the exact reason that stoked the flames of war having long been lost to history. Thousands were lost on either side and now an uneasy peace reigns, fragile enough that a single conflict could collapse everything into chaos once again.
  
  Draven Academy has long been a safe institution where Monsters are able to learn about their world and grow into capable adults under the tutelage of the best educators of the Monster world. There has been one sacred rule that none dare to break: Humans are forbidden from entering the Academy grounds.
  
  Until now.

  Born between the union of a monster and a human, their human parentage is kept quiet from everyone at Draven Academy, even the faculty and Headmaster. Halfbreeds generally present as fully monster, until fear or anger triggers their fight or flight response, upon which their monstrous features would revert to reveal their human form.   This roleplay is strictly 18+, for the comfort of myself and of others who may not feel comfortable rping with minors. If someone joins and is found to be under 18, they will be asked to leave.   Discord will be mandatory for this roleplay, as the majority of plotting, chatting, and announcements will be made on there.   For this roleplay, we will only be using realistic face claims only. Written descriptions or anime/illustrated art will not be accepted. As well, please try to keep the gender ratio even; if I see too many people making characters of the same gender I may ask some to switch to even things out.   Applications will not be first come, first serve. After the deadline for submissions has passed, all characters will be reviewed and selected based on best fit for the roleplay.
