UPDATE: night is now falling at Beacon Academy, and I will soon post as Headmistress Aurora to announce the fact that everyone needs to make their way to the cafeteria, which will be completely cleared of tables and will instead have the first years' luggage set around on the ground near the walls. Also I've noticed some who've got characters up but have yet to post at all in the RP thread. While not wanting to sound pushy, I know from personal experience how quickly an RP can get gummed up from people in an RP that don't post with the RP's timeline, or do so extremely sparsely. Boilingwriter stated they'd give a set amount of time before advancing the story, and the longer it goes without players posting the more difficult it's going to be to have them post and catch up, increasing the chances of them missing out on plot and somewhat important story content to catch up to the rest of us. Should there be implemented a deadline for people to start posting who have yet to even do so on the RP before being kicked? I feel we should since after a set amount of time having an intro post to an RP that's already way ahead of the 'start' is pretty disruptive to the flow of the story, but that's my opinion, and ultimately it's boilingwriter's RP so they get the last say. I'm just bringing something up that might become an issue if left unattended.

Alright, I will count the number of characters and close it once we have a multiple of four again. I had one or two people that were still considering joining, so I'll check with them and then close the RP.
Thank you for the suggestion. I should probably implement a deadline for posting, since the RP does seem to have a number of people that have posted twice and then dropped off. At the very least, if people don't reply to your post for two days, feel free to have your character leave the conversation. I will re-think the rules and post an update when I know for sure.

In the show wasn't it who ever partners up during the forest exam that becomes their group and the head master names their group?

UPDATE: As I look through the CSs and the posts, I have decided to close this RP to anyone else joining. My next update will explain the new rule about how often you must post, then I will start cracking down on this. I like this RP and don't want it to die, so I will be implementing rules soon. Thank you.

And yes, I will literally be putting the names into a random name-pulling generator to choose who pairs up with who. The only time I will intervene is if two characters controlled by the same person are paired up. And the combination of duos will be random as well. There will be a similar "relic" system, but it won't determine teams-- I will probably use random generators to choose that as well.

Good point... Well, I was going to do it randomly, but I might look at the letters of all their names and compose teams based on what colors I can make... Hm... We'll just have to see ^^
The remainder of today will be the night, but whenever I get up tomorrow I will post the starter for the Emerald Forest, and give all the pairings. (I don't think it will be that beneficial to RP the locker rooms before the launch)
Anyways, today is just the sleepover party, and I'll get working to see if I can randomize those teams!
