Pearl briefly debated harming her, but something stopped her. Perhaps it was the fact that Teala was so close, or that her aura was getting depleted, but unfortunately now wouldn't be a prudent time to eliminate Calm. She would have to get her alone later. "Lean on me, and I'll lead us there." She helped Calm over a large pile of rubble to Teala, and pointed to a bedroom exposed like a dollhouse. The stark red fabrics and decorations told her it must have belonged to Team CRMN (Carmine). No matter. They were gone now.

Pearl nodded in affirmation, and led Calm over to the bunked beds and sat her down on the bottom bunk. "Stay here and rest," she said, turning her back and making sure Teala was out of sight. "I'm going to scrounge for more blankets so we don't have problems with exposure..."

Pearl's arms were full of blankets when she came back. "You sleep," she said, piling half of them onto her.

After her teammate fell asleep, Pearl bound Calm with torn blankets, gave her head a quick hard smack with her fan to knock her out and deplete her aura, and made her way to Teala's hideaway. Feigning distress, she said, "Teala, could you come to see Calm... alone? She's hurt. Badly. And I think you should see her with me."

"Her aura is depleted completely, and I'm worried about her. I think she overexerted herself in a fight or something... she's won't wake up." Pearl led Teala back to CRMN's bedroom. Calm was waiting for them, knocked out, a bruise on her head unhealed by her depleted aura. As soon as Teala stepped inside, Pearl whipped out her fan, loaded with wind dust and aimed at Calm. "One wrong move and she loses everything. Are you listening to me?"

Cobalt frowned, stopping where he was for a moment for two reasons. One, he had the strange feeling he was missing something important, and two, there was a corpse right in front of him. This was such a tragedy, but he couldn't let himself start thinking about that. He merely walked around the corpse, shaking his head. He'd seen dead bodies before, this didn't really phase him much.
