After about an hour of preparations, and 4 hours of flight, The wingdrakes drop off their cargo at Base Camp in Area 1, within the Elder's Recess. Gamora sighed as she made sure her Gunlance, Eradication Flame, was ready. "Alright Everyone, we are here." Gamora said as her Handler smiled. "Man! It feels soooo good to be back!" the ecstatic woman said as she stood by a blue box. "As usual, I will wait right here until you get back." "Let's not dawdle any longer then."


"Let's go Meowster! But let's watch for Lunastra tracks." Oakris said as she climbed up a couple ledges, seeing the highest peaks of the area from their point.

This place is beautiful... So pretty with all these crystals. It feels like I am in a totally different world!" Sonora said as her tail started to wag rapidly. She followed Gamora and Oakris on a trail towards a cave like area.

Magnus marveled at the sight. He had never seen anything this beautiful before. He then wondered if he could have a necklace made for Sonora with some of these crystals. But he shoved the thought away as he followed Gamora.

Cassie

Cassie had spent the last few hours interrogating her brother about the family she never knew about and how she ended up in Verudo until she couldn't think of any more questions. She still had a long ways to go before she got up to speed with family matters, but for now, she had to finish what they've started. As she followed along the team, she turned her attention towards someone she never expected to approach a few days back:
"Hey, Shaa!" Cassie gave him a light punch on the shoulder and started to walk beside him. "Those were some nice words you said back there; you know, I used to think you were just a sad and pathetic manchild, but you've got some spunk hidden in there somewhere, don't you?" Though Cassie smiled as she said that, internally she was screaming. She had never said anything so blunt and careless her whole life. Was it the flames? It had to be the flames.

Peter

"Argh! Finally!" Peter landed with a disgruntled face as he massaged his shoulder. Though the scenario was beautiful, he wasn't in the mood to appreciate it. "How do you manage traveling places like this?"
"Stop whining already!" Cassie shouted back, playfully. "Just eat that yellow shiny thing over there and you'll be fine!"
After struggling for a bit, Peter managed to catch the Lichi. He stared at it for a moment, slightly grossed out, but ended up eating it. "It feels... Crunchy." He commented. He felt a wave of relief as the cramps on his arm where gone. "And it works! Amazing."
After he was done with that, Peter returned his attention to Yukari. Though she was clearly more than just a human of faunus, to Peter she had already proven herself to be willing to help, enough that he spent his precious prep time before the trip crafting her a makeshift weapon out of an umbrella. But if she really wanted to help, he'd have to ask more about her nature first; knowing how one could treat her grimm-like wounds would probably be a good start.

Damian

Only a few hours into the mission and Damian was already regretting keeping on with the group; he usually didn't stick for that long, but he wanted to make sure he sister was indeed safe over at the new world. And besides, he still had some unfinished business with Sonora.
"So you like the crystals?" He asked her. "It's said that an ancient prince had them sculpted as a gift that could compare for his princess' beauty." Actually, there was no such legend; Damian was making that up on the spot. "Like you and that little effigy of yours." He added with a wink; in his mind, the wooden sculpture he did was prettier than those rusty old crystals, and so was she.

Thinking: Well, not the most glorious job, but at least the scenery is nice, I can get used to it pretty quick.
{Hears the sounds of the native animal species from a distance. Casualy grips his DMR a little more firmly}

[Despite the innocence of the planet he knew from debriefing what lurks out there is far more deadlier than anything he's previously encountered.

As you land next to the wyverns you look smugly at peter and reply “I told you to just ride on top of the wyvern, or heck my back.” You then turn to Damian and say “wait are they really!? I’m gonna get some for me!” After saying this, you head to the nearest crystal and take out your new cleaver and take a swing at the crystal
[break roll: 99 = success]
The blade crashes into the crystal and a fairly decent sized chunk comes off, but the blade broke at the handle. You Pass the broken cleaver to peter knowing he will want the scrap. It’s then that you realize that you should probably get some for mom and the scientists back home. You turn to the crystal again prepare a large drill with your drillomancy and go for another chunk
[break roll: 62+10(the strongest) +5(the one who gave it all) +17(the ones who pierced the heavens) +5(proper tool) = 99 success]
You drill through and obtain several smaller pieces of the gem, before you realize you drilled out the entire left side. Right after this realization you hear a large crack and look up to see the top half of the gem fall over off the base. You turn to peter with a grin and expectant gaze. Mean while your mother was looking at some of the nearby giant mosquitos while cirno tried to kill one for her to dissect.

After listening to Cassie you replied back “while i’ll Fully admit to being a pervert, I know how to rally people, it’s family gift. Every one born in my family has the gift. That and I know how to tell the mood really well, that’s all me.” After saying this you turn to cirno who you will admit has grown on you a bit, like a energetic child, who is currently fighting a giant mosquito. Heh.

Yukari
As you flew with the group, the sinking feeling in your gut returned, and worse then before. Your new english skills tell you the feeling is called regret. Your glad that peter believed you, but that’s when the regret came,and it worsened when he gave you that funny umbrella. He said it was still a prototype, but he asked you to give it a name. You called it ‘yakumo’. You wonder if you should tell them the full truth. You look just follow the group on auto pilot, lost in your thoughts.

In the emerald forest, everything was peacful... until a group of hunters ran through the clearing screaming with a group of greatr fairys chasibg behind, giggling maddly as they shot blasts of magic at them of varyous types.

"Wiggly Litchi. Very Nutritious, and very useful while out in the field." Gamora informed as she walked into the cave area, and saw a small piece of Crystal, and loaded it into her Slinger. She kept walking until she stopped, and listened for soemthing.

Oakris stopped, and listened too, the roars of Nergigante and Teostra, and their battle sounded close. Very close.

"Dammit! Alright everyone! Be careful! Nergigante and Teostra are duking it out, so it would be best to avoid them when we can!" Gamora ordered as she began to think.

"y.. You really think I'm beautiful... You mean it?" She asked as she wagged her tail, her eyes lighting up. "I have had no one besides my dad call me beautiful, a lot of people don't like me at all back home..." She said as her ears drooped, and her tail goes between her legs as they began to move. "You are a lot nicer than those jerks... I... I really don't know how to feel." She heard Gamora talking, and a shiver went down her spine.

Magnus smiles, and nods in approval of Damian's actions. Maybe he would be good for her afterall. "If they do start a relationship, well.. I can rest easy, but I am unsure of Glynda and Ozpin and how they will react to their relationship.." He thought as he kept moving. he heard Gamora speak, and heard the battle going on, he growled.

Back in Vale, around the same time (do not reply to this part of the post, PLEASE)
The sun was setting, and Clifford was in the Library with Team JNPR, who were trying to get to know him on a friendly level. "So... How sharp are those claws... Hehe.." Jaune nervously looked at Clifford, who replied, "Sharp enough to take the flesh off of bone, if that is what you are asking." Clifford's claws snapped into place, making Jaune jump an inch or two from his seat. "Oooooooh. Those are cool! Have you always had two sets of them!? TELLMETELLMETELLME!" An overexcited Nora exclaimed as she had her usual crazy smile, she was about to crawl over the table, but was pulled back by Lie Ren. "Nora, please. Give our friend some space, after all, he had a rough day. Going from a big red dog to big red dog faunus" Clifford growled at the name. "what the hell is a faunus? And why does everyone call me that. I am an Odogaron, not a faunus." Clifford said as he tried to keep composure.

"Faunus are Humans that have Animal traits, like Sun with his monkey tail, and Velvet with her Rabbit ears." Pyrrah informatively said as she rolled her eyes at her teammates. "You too, are a faunus, you are half human, half.... Odogaron? Anyways, you are half animal, that is what a Faunus is." "Yeah, and you are a really scary faunus at that." "Jaune...."

Clifford chuckled. "I am not scary, not like the other monsters back home, in the Rotten Vale. A place where monsters go to die, and beings like myself eat the rotting corpses just to survive, until we find live prey. It is very hostile to humans, since there is a gas in the air that makes them weak, unless they eat a blue berry they bring with them, or use a protective barrier on their face. The minute you walk into the Vale, you become a target for its residents, and it is a free for all." The team just gasped as clifford, looked at them with a blank expression. Eventually catches up to the group in a disorderly mannor}
Whew, took awhile, thought I migh-
{Notices Nergigante and Teostra from a distance} !!! {Springs into a tactical reflex by finding a cover spot behind a large boulder surrounded by small vegitation}
Son of a bit-!! {loads clip into DMR as a safety precaution midsentance} Would anyone mind telling me what the hell is going on?!? {Looking rather rattled towards the group}

Peter

Peter became red as a stop sign when Curly offered her back to ride, but he said nothing as she proceeded to demolish the beautiful ecosystem around her for shiny rocks. He was very happy to receive the scrap; he had overheard Damian's story about the prince and the princess and to him, this gift was Curly's own little proof of affection to him. He hugged it close and put it on his backpack. Still, Yuraki's matter didn't leave his mind, so he walked up to her and said:
"You know, Yukari, I'm glad you're here with us, but there are a few things about you I just can't figure out..." Before he could finish, however, Gamora's information interrupted him. "Wait, already? Should we hide or something?"

Damian

"No, no, this isn't right at all." Damian said while shaking his head. Flirting with this girl was so easy it almost felt like cheating for him, and her words made him start to realize why: he was walking into a landmine. "I'm not here to be your hero, if that's what you're thinking."
Unfortunately for Damian, the two monsters showed themselves but a moment after he said that. He shouted "Get down!" And pulled Sonora to a cover behind a large crystal, ending up umconfortably close to her. She's a landmine, alright... The cutest damn landmine I've seen.

Cassie

Cassie was impressed by Shaa's reaction. She'd thought she'd be shunned for speaking her mind, yet instead, she was having the most honest conversation with Shaa! Maybe that new attitude of hers was for the better in the end.
When Nergigante and Teostra showed up, Cassie calmly walked to a large boulder and leaned on it to watch the show. She then noticed as a man in a gray and cobalt battle armor rolled into a bush near her and proceeded to freak out over the brawl going on ahead of him. She turned to him and said:
"Oh, hi there!" She greeted him. "You don't seem to be from around here. Don't worry, if we steer clear from them we should be fine. And what brings you here, sergeant?" Cassie thought 'Sergeant' was a good name to call the new person until she found out his name.

{Whilst in a cover position he lowers the DMR turning his head towards cassie giving a small salute} Forgive me ma'am, I'am Patrolling Officer Agent Nevada stationed at Base Camp Area1{He gestures himself in a way to not bring up his given name}
{Pauses for a moment looking at the brawl up ahead} And you are if I may ask? {turns facing cassie, it is notably hard to see the expression of his face due to the nontransparent visor, as most would say its like gazing into emptiness and his voice resembles a fine line between a young man and a well disciplined soldier only to be muffled a little bit}

"I never said anything about being a hero. GAH!!" Sonora exclaimed as she was grabbed By damian as the monster battle grew closer. "T... Thanks... You didn't have to do that..." She buried her head in his chest, she did not want to admit it, but his strong arms were comforting to have around her. A sense of security looms within her. She would guess that this kind of treatment will not last long, so she made the most of it.

Magnus took cover behind a massive crystal, watching the Elder Dragons, while also peeking on Damian and Sonora, who tried to bury herself into him. He took note of this and sighed. "She is growing up too damn fast."

Gamora and Oakris watched as the Battle went into their area, teostra trying to flee as Nergigante chased him down. With a tackle, he brings down the Emperor of Embers, and starts to claw at his head, only to get a face full of explosive powder. The Nergigante flinched as it was blinded, and rammed by teostra, a horn coming off as an explosion happened, thanks to the powder.

This enraged the Eater of Elders, and he grabbed Teostra's head, and threw him at a group of Gajalaka, who were minding their own business. Spikes grew on his wings, head, forearms, and tail. The teostra tried to get up, but was extremely injured and weak. Nergigante charged, but was rammed by Teostra's mate, Lunastra.

The Empress of Flame stood before her mate, in Nergigante's way. Then Teostra makes his escape as he mustered up whatever strength was leftover, and flew to their den in the volcanic area of the recess. Nergigante roared, then saw Yukari, giving a look of "I am watching you, and I will not show mercy". Nergigante took one big sniff, made some clicking sounds, and flew away, to rest some more.

Lunastra was about to leave, until a shrill howling was heard. A horde if grimm was coming, and they were not going to show any mercy.

"Oh no... If all times..." Gamora growled as a she got ready to unsheathe her Gunlance.

Back in Vale
"Yeah. There's that." Clifford Muttered as his claws reeled backwards, the sharp tips pointing upward. "Strange... Your claws don't retract... They just... Pull backward..." Pyrrah said as Nora watched with an open jaw. "Wow! So cool! You are the coolest faunus I have ever met! You can change forms, you have claws that roll backwards, and you even tear your enemies apart with ease! Am In missing anything?" Clifford chuckled at Nora's enthusiasm. "That... And remember how he tore those White Fang up when he was you know... Still on four legs? Speaking of which, how did you do that? They have an aura, just like us, and you tear through it like a knife through butter..." Jaune questioned as clifford began to think. "I.... I do not know. I also don't know what an aura is..." Clifford said as the team shook their heads in disbelief.

as the grup is told about the two giant monsters, youlift the crystal onto yor back with soeme effort and the help of yor aspect, 'the strongest'. you carry it over to the group and gently set it down. Then watch as yukaris gaze scares it away. "huh. looks like yukari has the bility to make nergigante runwith thre tails between there legs, haha! also pter, you mind putting the crystal in your semblence?" curly sid as she compleatly ignored the new guy, and after getting her answer went to the pille of crystal shards from her drilling and put them in a bag taken from camp. she put her own crystal in her suitcase.

as your about to answer her, your warned about the nergigante and pull cirno with the group to hide. thankfully she didn't yell at the beadt to fight her.

after yoy stared down the nergigante, letting it know your coming, you turn to peter and deciding that he seems the most likely to trust you, you tell him "i'd bee glad tto tell you more of myself but, id rather do it in privet,i trust you more then i do the others. mostly cause you seem like the least likly toget angry and drangerous at my origens..."

"Ok, mr. Patrolling Officer." She smiled, amused by the man using his title instead of his name. She then extended a hand and said: "I'm...."
At that moment, one of the Beowulves who was charging at the Lunastra noticed the clearly out of cover Cassie and changed its target for her. Cassie didn't even bother to take out her weapon; she waited until the Grimm was close, put her hand on its chest and nonchalantly emitted a burst of flame from her palm, blowing the poor creature away while burning it to a crisp. She then cleaned her hand on her sleeves and extended it again for the man, saying:
"Like I was saying... I'm Cassie Sterling, from the Grimm Hunter extraordinary force. Follow us, we'll take you to a safe spot so we can talk."

Peter

"What on earth is going on?"
As if the clashing titans wasn't enough of a sight for Peter, one of which he could have swore had stared at Yuraki for a moment, he was now greeted with a horde of Grimm attacking a completely different monster who had just shown up.
"Guys, do we even have a plan for..."
Before he said that, Curly asked him to keep her crystal in his semblance. She knew he used a lot of aura to do that and that it was a dangerous situation as well, didn't she? But Peter simply nodded and took the rock; he wasn't one to say no to her. He'd carry it with him until the danger was over, then he would stow it.
"So, guys, the plan..."
And then Yukari came to him and replied to what he asked her earlier. Peter never thought he'd be getting so much attention from women, especially in the middle of nowhere like the place he was right now. He certainly wasn't complaining, however.
"That's good to hear, Yukari. I'll trust you to hell and back after what you did at the encampment, don't you worry. And besides, right now we should probably focus on not dying to that thing!" He finished, pointing scaredly at the giant monster fighting the Grimm. Now that he was staring at it, it kinda looked like the thing they were after.

Damian

"...Sure, whatever." Damian answered.
He still had a lot to talk through with Sonora, but that wasn't the time; he looked up at the Lunastra with an expression of disgust on his face. He was never really fond of fighting monsters, especially big and fiery ones. He'd stay at the sidelines as much as possible this time... And besides, he wanted to see his sis in action for a bit.

Back in Vale

In the meantime, team RWBY was reunited again and pacing through Beacon. They were on a very special mission, one that required utmost professionalism and seriousness... Or so it seemed.
"Did Weiss really read Cliffy a story?" Ruby asked with her naturally high-pitched voice. "A bedtime story?"
"No, Ruby, that's not..."
"I want one too!" She screamed even louder, completely ignoring what Weiss had to say.
"Maybe later, Ruby." Yang said. "Right now we've got to find that troublemaker that's loose on the school grounds, remember?"
"Yeah, right." Blake agreed. "We should keep on our toes."
"Alright! Team RWBY, onward!" Ruby commanded.
The team reached their destination, a large open lot of beacon. Or at least it used to be until a shrine showed up on it. There was a brown-haired girl in ritualistic clothes sitting on the staircase and staring at her nails with a bored expression. She didn't even seem to notice any newcomer until Weiss took a step forward and said:
"Hold right there, troublemaker! Come with us peacefully and no one will get hurt."
"Troublemaker? Where?" Reimu looked around, faking confusion. "Oh, me?" She asked, gesturing herself. "Oh, you've got it all wrong, popsicle girl; the people here that are causing trouble to me."
"What did you just call me?" Weiss fumed. Ruby meant to hold down Weiss, but she was having a hard time keeping herself from laughing at the nickname.
"You know what? Fine." Yang said, slamming her fist into her palm. It had been a long and rough day and she could use punching some perky runts to calm her down. "Let's do it the hard way."
"If we must." Blake agreed, readying her weapons as well.

{Lowers the DMR and shakes cassies hand while looking at the burned remains of the creature and looks at cassie and twice again after comprehending what exactly happened}
O-Okay then... {Procedes to follow. Thinking: Impressive, if we had that sort of power back then perhaps the outcome of the human and covenant war would have been different. For the remainder of the time he has been abnormaly quiet staring at the ground as he is reliving a flashback from the war.

The Lunastra was none too pleased with these intruders invading her home. As she was surrounded, she stood her ground, wgipping her tail around, and clawing at the Beowulves and Ursi. Streams of fire erupt from her maw as the Grimm were reduced to ash. They kept coming, and the grimm get close enough to attack. One bite of the tail, a scratch in the face, and a pounce from above was just enough to infuriate the Empress. Her mane starts to glow as it heated up, and she roared, now furious. She began to become more aggressive as half of the grimm were wiped out within 5 minutes. As a finisher, she flew into the air, and lands, releasing a massive heat wave that is even more intense than even the Recess's volcanic area. Not even Gamora's fireproof mantle could save a man from the very intense heat. The remaining grimm faded into ash, and she soon fled.

"Oh Gog! We need to go! Now!" Gamora ordered as the heat wave was released, and she made a run for Base Camp 1, along with oakris not too far behind.

"Damian... We need to go... Now." Sonora said as she managed to break Damian's embrace, and run alongside Gamora and Oakris.

Magnus wasted no time at all, and followed the girls to the base camp. He had seen many things today, some beautiful and graceful, others brutal and savage.

Though the Grimm and Lunastra were gone, there was no need to take a risk in staying after an irritated empress just wiped out an small horde of Grimm.

Back at the Library in Beacon

"Aura is a manifestation of our soul, it carries our burdens and shields our hearts. Only beings with souls, like you an I, can have an Aura. The grimm, being soulless themselves, do not have Aura. Aura often leads to discovering one's semblance, or an ability unique to its user." Pyrrah explained in a similar fashion as she did with Jaune. "It's like a forcefield, or a Shield you do not have to carry." Clifford thought about it for a moment, and sighed. "I... I don't know if I have any Aura... After all, I was a monster before I became... This..." Clifford said as he gestures to himself. "All beings with souls have an aura, especially you. Even though you were a monster, you still have a soul." Pyrrah stood up, and motioned him toward her.

The Odogaron Faunus stood up, and walked over to the red head. Pyrrah puts her hands on his shoulders. "Umm... What is going on?"
"Close your eyes, and relax." Pyrrah said as Clifford closed his eyes, and breathed deeply.
"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee." Pyrrah let's go, and started to fall forwards, with Clifford catching her immediately.

"What the hell was that? What just happened?! I feel wierd!" "Pyrrha just unlocked your aura. It took a much bigger toll on her than the last time she did this... What if you have a lot of untapped Aura, and don't even realize it?" "Jaune, that sounds ridiculous. Why would our friend have more aura than all of us?" Lie Ren scoffed as pyrrah recuperated. "Wow... You have some wierd aura. Locked away, and unrealized. You must use your aura to better understand it... Or even find something you never knew you had in you..." {He hears a faint yell echoing throughout his mind suddenly he snaps from the flashback looking around in a concerned manner} W-What? {comprehends what gamora has ordered everyone to do then looking back towards the field he sees a rather angry beast motioning towards everyone then gets the jist on what to do}

after thanking peter for taking the gem curly turned to Cassie and said “really? Grimm huntsman extraordinary force? Laying it on a bit think there Cassie, if you liked us that much you could have just told us.” Curly then turned back to the giant Grimm fighting monster and prepared a spell card incased it attacked. When it released the wave of heat she released the spell card. At the wave, chanting it’s name to activate it “HAIL SIGN: hail storm!” The spell card exploded into a wave of cold and ice directed at the wave of heat and you turned and ran with the others. when the two waves collided...

The two countered each other and both disapated, except for a bit of the cold wave which continued on, freezing a bridge to where the heat wave monster went to.

when the heat wave came you tugged on cirno arm and pulled her along, though you could hear her attacking the thing and missing with her ice, and curly saying something while you ran. Soon you ran up beside Sonora and held onto cirno tighter as you ran.
Yukari
As the heat wave came you pulled peters arm and took him with you as well as the large crystal by him useing your gaps. As you reached the camp you look at him and do something with your face that you don’t recognize, you mind says it’s a smile. You like the smile.

Cassie

"Well, I'm calling us that now, like it or not!" Cassie replied to Curly; she saw the massive heat wave clash with the ice attack just in time to save them from getting hit by it, but she still followed Gamora towards the camp for the sake of keeping the team together. "You're the first to trust me in a long time, so I won't let you go that easily!"
When they reached their safe spot, somehow Peter and Yukari were already there; that raised her a lot of questions, but she'd better take matters one at a time. She turned to Gamora and said:
"Well, I guess we found what we were looking for." She then turned to Officer Nevada and said: "And look, I even brought back someone else! Though he seemed awfully quiet just now... Are you okay, buddy?"

Peter

Peter held out a scream as Yukari took him through a portal that somehow brought them back to the camp before everyone else. He saw her smile and something clicked on his mind; even if he only did so little to the person in front of him, at some level, he mattered to her. This was quickly becoming more than just a puzzle for him to solve and it made him feel excited, so he returned the smile back.
"Thanks for the ride, Yukari! Your portals are like, mine, but better... That's pretty awesome if you ask me." He ended with a chuckle.

Damian

Damian followed the group with his a worried mind and a silent demeanor; his mind was busy trying to make sense of what had happened earlier at Astera. That wasn't just a normal Grimm attack; someone was behind what had happened, he just wasn't sure who and for what reason. Running around with the kids just happened to be an efficient way to gather clues about the situation before he could act on it, but he preferred to not let everyone else know that. As far as they'd know, he was there for Cassie and Sonora, and nothing else. He'd better be careful too, or else he could end up believing his own lie.

Back in Vale, pt. 2

The air was heavy with magic and despair as team RWBY lay in the grounds of Beacon, utterly and completely defeated in a matter of moments by a single human girl. The ground and the walls were littered with craters and rifts and no one dared to step in to help. Yang extended a trembling hand to Blake, managing to say:
"Blake... I couldn't protect you, I'm so sorry..." And then she fainted.
"Bwahahaha! You lot were fun to beat!" Reimu noticed as she sat again at the stairs of the shrine, contemplating on the destruction she caused. "Seems like there isn't a single soul here who can pose a challenge to me... How dull." Just as she said that, however, the sound of calm steps grabbed her attention. A single white-haired man with reading shades and cane walked in front of her, not a trace of fear or doubt in his eyes.
"Now, now, that is quite enough, don't you think?"
"Hm?" Reimu raised a concerned eyebrow and her voice suddenly had lost a bit of confidence. "You seem like an interesting one. Should I be scared?"
"Only if you don't comply."

Gamora smiled, and extended her hand out to the new person, who was wearing rather strange armor, and had a small gun compared to her Light and Heavy bowguns. "Nice weapon, what kind of Bowgun is it?" The blue-haired woman asked as she studied his armor, and looked at his helmet.

"Meowster, this man looks scary..." Oakris said as she hid behind Gamora like a child would with a stranger.

"Oakris, let's not make our friend feel unwelcome. Sorry about my Palico, she gets a little... Anxious... Around new people." Gamora said as she shook her head.

Sonora caught up with the blue haired Hunter, and caught her breath. She did not know what had happened, but she had many questions. "That monster... That monster was familiar. Wait... That was the Nergigante that fought Scarface, our resident Nevermore! But why did it look at Yukari?" Sonora said as Gamora looked at her, stunned at what the young girl just said.

"What are you...? You know what? Nevermind. Right now we need to get the hell out of here before Lunastra comes back, and you and Oakris will have to tell explain to me why Sonora knows about Nergigante, Cassie." Gamora pauses in realization. "Oh dear... We don't have a slinger for our new friend. Maybe... We could have him hand onto a Miernos by hand?" Gamora thought

Magnus could not agree anymore with the huntress, and sat on a ledge until it qas time to leave.

Back in Beacon Library

"I... I don't understand any of this Pyrrah... Would you at least tell me what everything is?" Clifford scratched his head in confusion, and sighed. "You will understand in time, Clifford. How about we help you train with using your Aura, maybe even discover your unique ability." Pyrrah said with an exhausted smile. "YES!!! I CAN SEE THOSE CLAWS IN ACTION!!" Nora exclaimed with glee as Ren sighed. "Can you get any louder, Nora? And besides, Clifford will need our help to better understand things around here. Maybe Ruby and her team would help us too." Ren suggested, as he studied Clifford's claws. "that's a great idea guys, but how about we do it when Pyrrah is rested. Unlocking Clifford's aura took a huge toll on her." "Jaune, I am fine." Clifford sighed, and sat in his chair. "Thanks guys... I appreciate it, really, I do." Clifford said as he felt something welling up inside him. He felt warm, and he felt... Happy? One thing is for sure, it is a good feeling for sure. "Well, gotta go. I am supposed to get a tour of the school, and I am to get an Entrance exam at some point later." Good to meet you, I'am patrol officer agent nevada {glances over at her Palico} and as for my weapon it is an M392 Designated Marksmen Rifle or DMR for short. {He turns a bit to hide the hilt of the energy on his right thigh to prevent any questions that could deem himself unintentionally hostile.} If I may add, we should stand our ground instead of leading a large pissed off creature to our main base to ravage all of it, unless anybody has better suggestions {raises his dmr prepping it} time is nigh.
{Despite being in no position to talk like he just did just now, he often tries to motivate fellow squad members when under intensive situations.}

"Calm down there, cowboy." Peter intruded as saw Agent Nevada prepare his weapon to fight. "The large pissed off creature is running away, see?" Peter pointed to Lunastra, who was all but out of their sight by then. "She must have been scared off by all of Curly's ice, but I appreciate the attitude. I'm Peter Russet, by the way. Any chance i can get a look at that rifle when we get to safety? I'm a bit of a gunsmith myself." He finished, pointing to himself with a confident smile.

Cassie

"Ok, if you say so." Cassie replied Agent Nevada. When Gamora asked Cassie about the Nergigante, she replied: "Well, we saw a Nergigante when I was back in their continent; and you know how the Nergigante works; if he's there, there's probably other Elder Dragons there too. We're not the only ones who need help against a foreign invasion. I must've forgotten to say that when we almost got killed by an army of evil grounded birds." After Cassie said that, she saw a pack of Miernos flying back to Astera. "Guys, ready your slingers, we need to get going!" She then remembered about Agent Nevada and told him: "Hey Officer, hold onto someone, we need to scram now!"

Damian

Damian overhead the conversation quietly at first, catching up on some information he didn't have before. Though no one had told him about it, he was quickly realizing that this group he was following was into a deeper problem than he'd thought at first. Paranoid as he was, he started to connect all the dots... And there seemed to be something that didn't quite add up.
"You." He said to Yukari as he approached her. "You know something we don't, isn't that right? I can tell. When are you planning on telling us about that, huh?" As Damian tried to approach her, Peter held him off.
"Hey! She fought alongside us, so she's a friend! Back off." Peter and Damian stared off in silence for a moment, both gripping their weapons tightly.
"Sure, trust whoever bumps into you." Damian scoffed, backing off for the moment. He'd appraoch her again after they got back in Astera. "Let's see how far that gets you."

Back in Vale, pt. 3

Ruby jeked awake in a hospital bed, still feeling a bit sore from the last fight. She couldn't even tell if they'd won or lost, but if they lost, then Beacon was in serious peril. She looked around for a bit; from the looks of it, the school still seemed in one piece. By her she saw her sister, though she seemed distressed about something.
"Yang, what happened?" She asked waryly.
"Oh sis..." Yang slowly turned to Ruby and lifted her shoulder, with nothing coming out of her shirt's sleeve. Ruby screamed at the top of her lungs, utterly hearbroken, but Yang quickly bursted into laugher and revealed her arm still whole, putting it back through her sleeve. "Gotcha!"
"Waaah!" Ruby screamed, almost passing out again. "Low blow, Yang..."
"Hello children." Ozpin said as he entered the hospital. All of team RWBY immedeately went silent once they noticed him. "I'm glad to see you haven't been much injuried in this little misshap. It seems like I misjedged that person's intentions and power."
"But had she stopped hurting people?" Blake asked.
"I've taken care of the problem, yes." Ozpin explained. "So please rest and recover."
"Understood!" Ruby replied with a playful salute. "And thanks for saving us!"

(Later that same day)

Ozpin walked back into his office, entered it and closed the door hurriedly behind him. His office now had a new "piece of furniture", so to speak which housed a very special guest.
"Are you really going to keep me waiting for so long like this all the time?" Reimu asked, despite Ozpin only having been out for a few minutes. "Just because I agreed on coming here, doesn't mean I'm your pet."
"I wouldn't fret about it." Ozpin said. "I have already arranged company for my next absence." A knock followed on the door quickly after. "Oh, there he is. Come in, Qrow... There's someone I want you to meet."

Curly
as the group talked to each other curly was lost at the scope of her power, having not realized that one of her new spell cards could cause so much ice, and in such a hot place after being hit by a wave of heat as well. it filled them with DETERMINATION.

The One Who Was Determined
They were afraid. When the good king died before their eyes, when the souls were absorbed into the demon's maw, when the world collapsed and all they saw was darkness, they were afraid. And when the demon turned into an abomination... when their lives became nothing but an endless spiral of death and rebirth... they felt terror. But still. They were Determined. Determined to finish this. Determined to find a way out of this hell. Determined to reach their Golden Ending. They braved barge after barge, death after death, and fought endlessly to reach their goal. Until finally, they won. The abomination was a demon once more. And much like before, they had a choice. Mercy or Death. For anyone else, the path would have been obvious. But for them, it wasn't so clear. Because as foolish and as naive it may have sounded... They always believed there was a chance for redemption. A chance to Save those once lost to the darkness. Despite all the demon had done to them, they wouldn't give up on it. Because no matter what it might have done in the past, it deserved a chance at its Golden Ending too. And so, much like every single time they were given such a choice, they chose Mercy. And the demon ran away.

after the Memory left curly heard Cassie ask for someone to carry the new guy, curly grabbed him and responded "i got him" when damian made his accuastion against peters ability to judge she turned her head to him and said "bud, i don't appreciate what your saying about peter, alright? and just so you know, i've got two more moves at about the same level as that ice wave." ending her statement off with a harsh glare
Shaa D. Mancen
as shaa was about to prepare his gifted slinger he heard damian's accusation and said "look here, between you and peter, i trust peter more so shut up" he turned to yukari and continued "but you will be telling us more when we get back yukari..."
Yukari
when peter complemented your gaps you turned away with a warm feeling on your cheeks, still smiling you said back "t-thanks, i call them gaps..." you don't know why but a weird fluttering feeling is building up in your gut now, and you like it... though it went away when the damian fellow got at you,and even more so since you know it's true. it was nice when the others stood up for you and peter though, when shaa told you you were going to be talking later you just nodded before readying the slinger you were given.

"Dammit....! Why didn't you...?!" She sighed as Oakris hopped onto her shoulder. "Nevermind. But we need to tell the commander this as soon as we get back. And we will need every detail we can get." Gamora looked at Yukari, whom the Nergigante had stared down before it left. "For some reason, Nergigante does not like her a single bit... I wonder why that is...." She thought as she hooked onto a Miernos.

Sonora grabbed onto Damian, and hooked onto the Miernos, her 'padding' squeezing onto Damian. "Hang on tight! Don't want you falling off." She said as the Miernos took off in the Opposite Direction. Sonora knew that if she were to win him over, she'd have to work for it. She had never done this "Relationship" stuff before, but she will give it her best. Damian was the one, and she felt it was so. She was unsure if Magnus would approve, despite being a a legal adult in Vale.

Magnus hooked on, and the flight back to Astera began.

In Astera, 4 hours later

The group lands down at the Tradeyard, where the Commander was waiting for them. "Welcome back. Did you find anything?"
"Besides Lunastra confirmed in the area, and a horde of Grimm reduced to ash by her. No. But Nergigante is becoming a bit more aggressive... And there is something else that Cassie and Oakris have to bring to light."
"Is that true? Do you both have something to tell me?" The commander asked in a curious tone as Oakris trembled. "Y... Yes... We do." Oakris said. nimona CapRock Lord0fFate

Cassie

"Well, excuse us, but I thought we had enough things to worry about already without counting for... The other thing." Cassie said. "Like I told Gamora, we sighted a Nergigante in the foreign lands as well as an Odogaron which was being used as a living weapon by a local gang called White Fang; for some reason, our ecosystem and theirs suddenly decided to interact with one another."
"That's right." Peter agreed. "And if we didn't send as much help as we'd like, it's because we have to worry about a monster invasion just as much as you do."
As she said that, Cassie saw her brother land with Sonora neatly in his arms; he seemed to be barely keeping himself from a scornful laugh. She was grateful of what he'd done for her, but his attitude was starting to get on her nerves quickly.
"What is it, Damian? Would you mind telling us what's so funny?"

Damian

Damian's ride was a bit on the bumpy side because of the extra weight his Miernos had to carry, but having Sonora pressed up against him, he wasn't one to complain. When they were about to land, the Winged Drake lost its balance and Damian quickly took charge of the situation, grabbing Sonora as they fell to ensure she'd land safely. When questioned by his sister, he simply said:
"I just find it funny that you've managed to run into all this information and you still can't figure out what's going on. First, Grimm and monsters suddenly show up when they shouldn't. The White fang already has plans on using them, as if they knew about it before anyone. And as soon as the first aid comes along, Astera is attacked? You can't possibly think that these are all random facts, can you?"
He saw Cassie lose her confident smile for a sudden concerned and defeated look; she was starting to sweat a bit as well. Unbelievable; they really didn't have a clue.

Peter

"That... Might actually be true."
Peter hated to agree with Damian, especially after getting disrespected by him like that, but the man had a point. "That... Thing with the shotgun, it wasn't like any Grimm I've seen before, and my guess is that it's no monster either. Does this mean that... There's something or someone behind this?"
"Finally!" Damian scoffed. "Took you long enough. So are we going to marvel at this discovery of yours or get to tracking the source of all our problems?"
Peter was now convinced that Cassie's loose cannon of a brother was trying to help them in his own way, as rude and unnecessary as it was. He decided to play his game for now... As long as he steered clear from Yukari and Curly.
"Alright, then; but we still have to rebuild. We should have 1 or 2 people dig around while the rest help here, I think."

As Damian told the group what he thought of the situation all you could say was “how did we not figure this out earlier? I mean now it seems so obvious. Anyway shaa, what are we going to do now?
Shaa D. Mancen
As curly said what he was pretty sure they were all thinking he thought upon there situation he answered curly sending question “I want your guys opinion on this but here’s what I think, after I get some answers from yukari, we’ll have curly refresh her clones and if we deem yukari trustworthy, peter will make her a better weapon, and afterwards or right away if yukari is deemed untrustworthy he’ll work on a new weapon if he has one in store. If he Doesn’t or if the required matierials aren’t available he’ll help with repairs alongside my summon, meanwhile I’ll be working with the commander to get any leads on our culprit. Sonora, you will Teach the locals all we know of the Grimm, there types, there weakness’s everything, this will be until we get a lead, at which time we’ll adjust our plans.”

After listening to shaa’s plan you simply said “if I may, I’d prefer if peter came with for the questions?” “If your more willing to talk then sure, it shouldn’t take to long anyways, anything else guys?” Shaa replied as you nodded to his first question.

"I do remember saying that there is something big going on in the background, but I guess everyone forgot." Sonora said in a sassy and irritated tone. She then rested her head on Damian's chest, her tail wagging as she sighed out of content.

"Ever since you all arrived, everything has hit the fan, more of those grimm showed up, and destroyed Astera!" Gamora exclaimed as she looked at the group, with nothing to say.

"Gamora! That is enough! I will not stand here and have you yell at our guests, is that understood!?" The commander fumed as the Field Team Leader, his grandson, supporting him. "Now, onto what damian said. "This is all getting out of hand. First the Elder dragons... Now the Grimm... We know they are attempting, and succeeding, in chasing away the monsters that live here, or killing them off. We need to... Augh! We need to find more clues about the Grimm, and hopefully find out how they got here..." The commander winced as a pain shot up his leg.

Gamora smiled, and nodded. "Shall we get started then?"
"now wait a minute, you all just got back! You will need some rest before going back out there. Am I understood?"
"Y... Yes sir."

Deep In the Elder's Reccess, In the Land of Convergence.

"These beasts are causing nothing but chaos and destruction, Zorah! We need to act now! They have already destroyed the human settlement known as Astera, so what will they destroy next while we sit idly by!?" Teostra, and Ancient Faunus screamed as he stared Zora Magdaros in the eye. "Teostra please, I know you are concerned about the human settlement, but we need to know more about these beasts. And maybe they can help us." Zorah said as he crossed his arms thoughtfully. "If I may, Though the new group of humans may know about them, but how will they react to us? They'd kill us if they see us in our dragon forms!" Lunastra exclaimed as zorah looked at her. "We will be walking to Astera. And let them know that we will help them, while they help us rid our home of this plague." Zorah said, everyone shocked. "B... But Zorah, the humans don't like us Elder Dragons... Why would they let us in?" "Kirin, my child, we have human forms, yes? We use those. While we may have the traits of Elders, we will have a human shape." Zorah ruffled the young female Ancient's hair, looked to the rest of the council. "I will be sending Teostra, Lunastra, and Nergigante to Astera, to enlist the help of the humans." Lunastra and Teostra were about to Object, but Nergigante shushed them. "I have had enough yelling for one day. Let's get this over with." He said as his wings expanded from his back, and took off, with Lunastra and Teostra following. Lord0fFate nimona CapRock

"This is a lot to swallow..." Cassie commented on Damian's information. Unlike most, she was actually upset at herself for not figuring out the connections earlier; the fact that her brother so arrogantly called them out on it only made matters worse, but she wouldn't let that get the best of her;
"Good call, Shaa. I'll help the clones rebuild. Nothing like some heavy lifting to clear the mind, am I right?" She said, heading out to a meeting point where the Astera's inhabitants were heading out tasks to rebuild. On her way there, she glanced at Damian and added: "Oh, and we're gonna trust Yukari. All of us. If she ever gives us reason not to, I'm sure I can handle her." She explained simply.

Damian

Damian could barely hide a smile when he saw Sonora's sass. Conflicted as he was about getting to close to her, the little girl faunus was the perfect balance between fraility and strenght for him and he couldn't help but desire for more of it; he pondered a moment in silence, but eventually gave in and said:
"The learning process will go a lot faster if the Hunters get information on the Grimm a language they understand; I guess I have no choice but to give you a hand on your classes, Sonora." Having lived on both worlds, Damian knew a bit of the Hunters' slang as well as Huntsman's; he looked down at Sonora and gave a confident nod to her. When Cassie said her last line to him, he smirked and nodded ironically, amused by her almost childlike optimism.

Peter

Peter was a bit ashamed by Gamora's words, espcially since he had nothing to say for himself to defend against it. Instead he simply took Yukari by the hand and took her to a corner near the remains of the canteen. He sat down, looked Yukari with candid eyes and said:
"Well, here we are. I'd like you to start from where you come from, if you don't mind. I'll only tell them what you let me tell them, alright?" Peter knew it was a risky request, but he was starting to suspect not even Yukari herself knew what she was herself, and he'd need as many details as possible if he were to figure out this mystery.
