Sonora growled as Curly proceeds to anger the Nevermore. "Are you trying to get us killed?!? We are trying to get away from it, not piss it off!!" Sonora shouted as she ran faster, knowing that Scarface has targeted them now, and started to circle around them. "Just what we need, a damn nevermore attacking us."

Oakris was downright terrified of this stranger creature. She did not know its weaknesses, its strengths, or even its behaviors. She did not know whether to fight it off, or to stay silent as they neared the Academy. CapRock nimona B Billicious

Cassie

Cassie gasped in shock as she saw the armored girl attack the flying monster with what she only could assume to be witchcraft. Unfortunately, impressive as the attack were, it wasn't enough to deter the beast. What made matters even worse was that the group had just run into a large open field. While they seemed to be nearing civilization, the Nevermore now had plenty of space to dive right into them. As Cassandra watched the creature begins its descent, she prepared her own move:
"Whatever it was you plan, it didn't work. Think of something better while I keep it distracted, ok? I'm counting on you."
With that said, Cassie stopped running and turned towards the monster, firing her Kinsect on the creature's forehead; a solid hit. She held the glaive tight in her hands, doing her best to ignore the pounding still in her head, yet with her eyes locked in her prey. The Nevermore took notice of her action and redirected straight to her, letting out another ear-shattering screech as it extended its claws forward to rip her to shreds. She stood her ground and waited for the exact right moment. Then, Cassie thrusted her glaive down and launched herself high into the sky, arching over the beast and landing on its back. Her hands reached out fo the creature's fur and clenched it as tightly as she could, hanging on for dear life as the huntress began her ride atop the flying Grimm.

Cassie

While they were running, Oakris struggled to get out of Sonora's arms. She did not like being carried by anyone she did not know. She watched as cassie mounted the Nevermore, and he jaw dropped. "I have to get it it down here.... Wait.. I can taunt it!" Oakris popped out of Sonora's arms, and grabbed out her Shieldspire. "Hey ugly!! Down here!!" she said as she slammed her shield on the ground, making a loud *Clack! Clack!* sound.

Sonora could not believe what she was seeing, a cat banging a wooden shield on the ground to taunt the Nevermore. Was she crazy, or stupidly brave? Whatever the case, the cat had some serious nerve doing this.

"well, that didn't work- oh Cassie got it... and apparently that weird cat, to. well, since running probably isn't going to work anymore, let's stall it!" you say
[difficulty roll: 40 +20(grease mechanic) +10(the strongest) +10(the one who was all) +3(the one who kept his promise's) +7(the one who gave it all)=90 success]
you create a set of 3 clones, (who are all naked since sadly the skill only clones you, not your clothes) and command them to each create a set of clone who are to given the same command and then to charge scarface.
you then create your ice wings and create a shield of ice, and ready yourself to protect the cat if scarface decides to launch his feathers.

I should've known this mission was way too easy on paper. If I ever get out of this alive, I swear the commander won't hear the end of it.
Holding onto with all of her strength, Cassie kept herself close to the Nevermore's back as it begun to try and shake her off. The creature seemed much more agile and smart than a common monster; that could definitely be a problem. If she didn't get some hits in soon enough, her fingers could slip while the damned thing was still up there, and that'd be the end for her.
Thankfully, her team followed the lead soon enough and turned to fight back the grimm; Oakris taunted the Nevermore, which shifted its focus from getting rid of Cassie to killing everyone else. This gave her plenty of time to act; she took the glaive in her hands and then thrusted it down at the beast's hide, only to have the glaive's blade bounce off. I'm going to need more strength than that if I want to hurt it. Now if she only had a minute to recall her kinsect, the strength boost might do it.
And that's when the madness begun.
Cassie almost fell off the Nevermore's back when she saw it: a large square number of the armored girl's copies, all of them butt-naked and charging to attack the Grimm. The creature was enraged by the sight and landed on the ground to strike its foes. Though the clones weren't very strong, there were more than enough of them to hold the oversized bird off for a few moments, which was all she needed.
Cassie took the opportunity to call her kinsect back, which filled her with newfound strength. She took a good hold of her weapon and started to stab the creature on its back repeatedly, this time drawing blood with each strike. All the while she shouted at the top of her lungs:
"Will... You... Just... Die already!"

"Mind as well help out, since we are fighting it..." Sonora said nonchalantly as she readied her hunting horn, and played some boosting melodies. Everyone around the area felt a significant increase in Strength, hardening of the skin with out doing so visually, And sudden increase in vitality. "That should do, Now bring that bird down!" She yelled. She looked at Curly and her clones, and then sighed. "She needs to figure out how to copy her clothes, people will stare at her..."

Oakris felt the melodies take effect, she thought it was strange, since there were no horn users around, except Sonora. "She has a hunting horn!?" Oakris exclaimed as she saw a figure in the sky. It had the shape of a quadrupedal creature with wings, and as the figure grew closer, It was clear of one thing, the creature was Nergigante, the Eater of Elders.

"N... N... NERGIGANTE!!! Cassie!! There is a Nergigante flying at you!!" Oakris shouted as the spiky dragon slams into the Nevermore, bringing it to the ground, forcing Sonora and Oakris to run and try to catch Cassie.

As soon as she heard the familiar sound of a hunting horn, Cassie could already feel her strength growing even further. She raised her glaive one final time, certain that her final mounted move was going to hurt the beast. Before she could do it, however, Oakris shouted at her:
"N... N... NERGIGANTE!!!"
Cassie couldn't believe her ears, yet, when she turned back, it was true. The mighty dragon charged into the Grimm, starting a massive struggle amongst the two beasts and sending the poor huntress away. Cassie braced for the impact the best she could... But there was nothing. If it weren't for the hands she felt beneath her, she'd be sure it had been her demise. Sonora had managed to run into her and catch her fall, much to her surprise. Cassie quickly reached for the ground and muttered:
"T-Thanks, I guess."

Oakris did not even hesitate when told to run away, she did not want to try to fight the Nergigante, yet. She did not know why it was here, nor did she care at the moment. She began to think for a moment, and then realized one bit of information. Nergigante follows its prey wherever they go, and that is other elder dragons like Teostra, Kushala Daora, etc. That would make sense, but only if she knew why the others are here, versus in Astera.

Sonora caught cassie, who was surprisingly light for her looks. "Not a problem friend, now we need to go back to the academy, and you and your cat are going with. No buts about it." Sonora said as she set Cassie down, and turned to run to the others. "Let's go. We do not have all day before that thing starts going after us."

The Nergigante had managed to land a few scratches on Scarface, but could not really do any more damage to the grimm, while the Nevermore slams and tears at the elder dragon. White Spikes began to grow on its wings, forearms, head, and tail. After a few minutes of battle, and hardening and darkening of the spikes, the dragon roars, and pushed itself back, and dive bombed into the ground, a few black spikes manage to hit the Nevermore, but not doing too much damage. "Understood! I'll be right after you." Cassie said as she nodded decisively. She was more than happy to get away from all that mess. The group soon lost sight of the two monsters, apparently for good this time.
Now that things were a bit calmer, Cassie finally had the time to ponder a bit on what happened. It had been so long since she'd escaped a dire situation with someone else she had forgotten how it felt like. More than that, Oakris' kind words from earlier had really stuck on her:
"I want to get to know mew."
"Cassie, you're alive! Yay!"
"Believe it or not, your life meowtters just as much as mine."
As much as she'd hate to admit, it felt great to have someone care for her again. It made her heart all warm and fuzzy again, reminding her of better times. Along with the nostalgia, unfortunately, came a heavy burden of guilt, so she swiftly tossed those thoughts aside for later. Besides, something even more impressive had just presented itself before her:
"Is this it?" Cassie gasped upon coming face to face with the city of Vale for the first time. "...Impressive."

as you fly you feel a great wave of utter dread wash over you, you hope your just imagining things

you were just starting to saver the young Lights fear before this THING decided that it would challenge you, YOU! the nerve! but sadly for you it seemed that they were much stronger then you thought and they took advantage of that. now here you are trying to fight the thing off along with all of the fake Lights and with multiple spikes stuck in you and contrary to what it may seem on first glance, you were heavily injured by them. eventually after all but one of the fake lights died, you finally fell as the thing left... so this is it huh, you wondered how this wou-ld hap_en but n__ ___r f_d__g... __... _o_, NO! you WON'T DIE! not to some insolent THING that thinks it's better then you! "screeeeeeeeeeeeeeech! screeeeeeie! sci! scront! die! I WON'T die!" as you refuse to die to such a lowly thing, not even one of the Lights, your floating remains along with the fake light and the shards of the THING are pulled by a strong wind that soon picks up enough dust to block the view of you in the center, after a few minutes of this a burst of force disperses the wind and causes close by trees to collapse. and there standing where your half dead body used to lye stood your new form. you had a form resembling a birthing Light but with skin as white as your old mask, and wings as black as your old ones as well as your new hair and upon your skin were veins as red as blood, and you cold feel the power running through them, your power. "the THING shall die." these are the last words you speak before heading towards your nest to prepare. for now you are...

"Welcome, to the city of Vale!! This is our home. And our school is right this way." Sonora said as she extended her arm forward, pointing towards the Academy, which was a building with a tower in the middle of it. "And that is Beacon Academy, the school that Curly and I go to. But please, do not draw too much attention to yourselves. The other students will get very nosey very fast, and will freak out once they find out that Oakris can talk..."

Oakris became confused upon hearing this, "Why would they freak out over meow talking? Are Felynes not normal here?" Oakris asked, since she had not seen any of her kind in this strange, yet beautiful city. "W... Why do I not want to draw attention to meowself? I want to make lots of furriends!" oakris said with furvor as she hopped into the air, and happily meowed.

"No, our cats normally walk on all fours, and do not talk like you do... And not everyone would be fascinated by a talking cat either, in fact it would scare them to the point of fainting. And, I do not want you causing a scene, it would make things a lot worse for the two of you than they already are, got me?"

"Meow-k I won't talk, I purr-omise... I will act like a Normal cat that lives here." She said as she got on all fours, but did not look like a normal cat at all, in fact, she looked as if she were going to pounce, or stretch her arms. nimona CapRock B Billicious

The city of vale was unlike anything Cassie had ever seen: as the group headed forward to the tower, she looked around in bewilderment at the pavement, the buildings, the faunus and the scrolls, trying to make sense out of all of it. The bustling concrete city made even a well-developed new world settlement such as Astera look like a giant hut by comparison.
One of the many details Cassie didn't realize at first was that the road had a designated path for pedestrians to walk on, so she was walking casually in the middle of the street. She eventually got in the way of a car and its driving wasn't very keen on waiting for her to move along:
HONK!
Cassie jumped in terror at the mysterious sound, letting out a terrified high-pitched scream in the process. Once she turned back and realized the culprit was an angry old man inside the car, her face twisted into an irked scowl as she demanded:
"What the hell? Watch where you're going with that, you could hurt some..."
HONK!
Cassie let out another scared scream at the sound, still getting used to it. After that, her expression shifted from annoyed to daunting as she clenched her fists over the car's hood and growled:
"Listen here, punk. If I hear you make that sound one more time then I swear to the elder dragons that I'll tear you a new asshole! Are we clear?"

you watch as the new guy compleatly fails at not making a scene after asking the cat not to make a scene, before grabbing and gently tugging his arm and pulling him away. "come on your the one in the middle of the road, your lucky you weren't killed, {to the driver} sorry he's from a really small village, cars are pretty much non-existent there, heheh"

After the short crisis was averted by Curly's expert diplomacy, Cassie followed the group into Beacon's tower. She was taken to the very top of the building, in which there was a large room with an immense ceiling riddled with enormous floating cogs. Sitting comfortably at a desk in the middle of said room was a calm and kind-looking white-haired man with a black and green suit and a pair of reading glasses. He seemed busy with some paperwork, but he still opened a candid smile when he first saw the group.
"Welcome to my office, children." He greeted. "It appears that you've brought some foreigner friends as well. Would you two do me the honour of presenting yourselves?"
"I'm Cassie Sterling, from Astera." Cassie replied instinctively. "And this is my partner Del-" She stopped mid-sentence, realizing her mistake. "I mean... This is Oakris." She wished she could run away and hide somewhere after that slip, but her duty came first. "We've been sent by our commander to ask for help against... Well, against things like the one that took our aircraft down just now."

"It was Scarface, our resident Nevermore, that took their ship down. They were the only ones to survive the crash. Then a thing attacked it, a thing our feline friend called.... Nergigante, was it?" Sonora said as she looked at Oakris for confirmation.

Oakris nodded, and looked at the professor. "Nya, Nergigante is an Elder Dragon, and our organization hunts them down to ensure the safety of the environment, as well as the other elder dragons, since they are Nergigante's prey... You meow not know what I am talking about... But maybe we could enlighten you a bit. Cassie... Do you still have your meownster list with you?" Oakris asked as she looked at cassie, and then at the professor. For a stranger, he seemed unfazed by the fact that a talking cat was in the room with him. "Funny. Sonora said that I would scare people when I talk, but you are not even flinching..." She added.

After letting the cat talk you whisper to them "he's an exception, he's really weird." After words you straighten back up and continue to listen to what Pepin has to say.

"Oh, right, the list".
Cassie searched her bag for a moment and took a copy of the new world's bestiary. She opened under the 'Elder dragons' section and started to go through the pages to display the monsters for the group.
"So these are some of the Elder Dragons we have back in the New World, and this..." She stopped at the relevant page and pointed at the drawing. "Is Nergigante. Seeing it around here is a pretty strong proof that there're other Elder Dragons hanging in the region. I just can't understand why would they start migrating again, and why here all of the sudden."
"How interesting... May I?" Ozpin said, indicating the bestiary. Cassie nodded and he took the book from her. "I thought one such day might come, but for it to happen at such a time... We should definitely do something about the situation before lives are lost."
"Too late for that." Cassie muttered under her breath.

"Meowbe... Just meowbe, they are being chased off by those things that attacked one of our hunters. Black and white, red eyes, and has a canine build..." Oakris said as she tried to think on it now.

Sonora pondered the information, and immediately came to a conclusion. "That's a Beowolf you are talking about... And you say the Elder Dragons are maybe being chased off by them? One thing is for sure, that is not good, especially if they are coming into Remnant." Sonora was afraid to ask, but she knew it had to happen. "Professor, could we... I dunno, take an Airship to their part of the world, and help them out? If they are being attacked by the Grimm, then they are really going to need our help on this." Sonora asked with a bit of urgency in her tone. She did not like this one bit, but the Grimm problem needs to be taken care of.

as you listen to the others talk a few questions come to mind "hey, uh why does that near-giga-te being hear mean that the elder dragon's are here? and what are elder dragons? also why are the pictures in that book hand drawn?" this is really confusing you, why would they use a less acurte picture instaed of a phot- wait when did shaa get here? and what is he doing, please don't let it be what i think he's doing!

"Well Curly, you see, the Nergigante's main prey are elder dragons. He'll always follow their migratory movements, and that's how weAAAAH!"
Cassie's whole body twisted in response as she tried to fathom what just happen. There was a man, right there, groping her butt like no man's business. To add salt to the wound, he even gleefully added:
"Hello there sweet cheeks~"
Cassie instinctively responded with a swift strike with the back of her fist to his face. She then turned back to the group and said:
"Now where was I? Oh yeah, the Elder dragons..." Despite her noble attempt to seem unfazed by what just happened, Cassie's face was about as red as a stop sign and her voice was a bit shaky out of sheer shame. "So... Um, the Elder Dragons are a bit like..." But she was interrupted yet again when the doors of the office slammed open and a young man came in screaming:
"OZPIN! I WANNA JOB!"

Peter

Peter had had enough of waiting; he'd spent all day long looking for any huntsman contract in Beacon to take. They kept saying things like "You're just a student, you can't take huntsman jobs" "Where's the rest of your team" and "Please stop talking so loud", but he wouldn't give up so easily. Determined to find something to do, he decided to reach out for the man in charge; they told him he was a very understanding person, so that could be his best shot.
"Oh... I'm interrupting something, ain't I?" He asked upon seeing the scene.
"Don't fret about it." Ozpin replied. "Peter... Russet, is it? The smith's apprentice?" Peter nodded with a proud smirk. "I believe you and Mr. Mancen over there might be of help to these distressed foreigners."

With everything that was going on, Oakris was taken by surprise, and did not know what to do, until she looked at Cassie being touched by a stranger, she then proceeded to dash towards the strange person assaulting Cassie in an inappropriate way, now down on the ground. "I am gonna scratch your face off, you pervert!" the felyne then crawled up the person's left leg, and dug her claws into his legs, making sure that it hurt like hell. Once she got to the back, she again, dug her claws in, and started to climb.

Sonora growled at the chaos that just unfolded. "SERIOUSLY!?!? OF ALL THE DAMN TIMES TO DO THIS, YOU CHOOSE NOW TO DO IT?!?! WE ARE IN A TIME OF CRISIS, AND HERE YOU ARE SHAA, THINKING WITH THE HEAD BETWEEN YOUR LEGS! AND YOU SHOUTING IS NOT HELPING ANYTHING AT ALL, PETER!" She shouted during all of the commotion. She then removed Oakris from Shaa, who had faced her flyne wrath, and then set her down. Once she heard Ozpin's voice, she calmed down, for the most part. It was clear her and Shaa are going to have a "chat" later. nimona CapRock B Billicious

after watching the large commotion, curly turns towards ozpin and states "ozpin, seeing as a majority of my teammates want to go and the other is being a pervert and as such doesn't get a vote, our entire team volunteers to go on this mission." after saying this curly pulls shaa back up, then slap him as well. shaa then yells "why does the cat talk, and curly why' you slap me!" "cause you deserve it" 'grumble gumble'

Embarrassed as she was, Cassie couldn't help but smile a bit as everyone in the room attacked Shaa in their own way to defend her honor. This city of vale was strange and stressful, for sure, but at the very least the Huntsman there seemed to have their priorities set straight. Well... Most of them, at least.
"I don't really have a say in what other hunters from Astera do, but I do know our commander somewhat. He's a man of honor and he won't hesitate to help this kingdom with the Elder Dragon situation as soon as he hears about it."

"Sonora! Shaa! Nice to see your guys here. Sorry about the shouting, but that's just who I am." Peter greeted them with a nod as he walked closer to the group. "And Curly..." His eyes lingered in her for a moment. "You're as stunning as ever!" He then faced Cassie. Despite the brave words she just spoke, she was staring him with a wary hostility, perhaps worrying he'd be like Shaa. "You must be our client! What's your name?"
"Cassie Sterling."
"Nice to meet you, Cassie. We'll do our best to help you out there, you have my word!"
Peter held out his hand and shook hands with her. The gesture seemed to calm her a bit. He then turned his attention to the talking cat. What kind of faunus...? Peculiar as it was, he couldn't deny it was adorable. He crouched in front of her and said:
"Aren't you a cute little thing!" He held out a hand and said: "Can I pet you? Purrreeease...?"

Oakris growled out of annoyance, and held a finger up, as if to tell him to wait before she answered him, and looked at cassie. "Cassie... I do not think that this is just by chance the Elders migrated here. I think they are being chased away by those things that attacked our hunters. I think one of our furiends said it was a Beowolf that attacked him. And if I am right, then the Elders are being chased off by them. Though, I am unsure of it... Though the Commeownder would not hesitate, we need to know more about our new meownsters too... And our furiends will help us with that." Oakris said as she turned to Peter, and nodded. And she saw what was a shock collar, and behind the beast, was the White Fang. "White Fang... Alright everyone! Let's cut this short, for there is a red wolf like monster outside, and it is attacking the city. And the White Fang are controlling it via a Collar."

Oakris growled upon hearing this. She knew what monster the Wolf girl was talking about. "An Odogaron... With a collar? We cannot let this slide! Let's go!" She said as she hopped away, out of the room. Though she and her master had hunted many Odogaron, she had never hunted one being controlled by another being.
