Fandom RWBY: AtF OOC

Given that this RP takes place pretty immediately after the Battle of Beacon, further plot developments should include the establishment of a Huntsmen base within the city and a retaking of the ruins of Beacon as it's mentioned in one of the Volume 4 episodes that Port and Oobleck are in the process of rebuilding the academy. I suppose that may also imply that Huntsmen manage to unfreeze the dragon and slay it, otherwise the Grimm would continue to flood back into the city. The time frame for these developments is a few months assuming we simply follow the canon.

In the short-term, I'd imagine that surviving councilors assemble whatever Huntsmen and students still remain along with some volunteers to carry out missions such as rescuing survivors, culling Grimm little-by-little to slowly advance towards what will eventually be a forward base for operations, and anti-air operations to ensure the safe passage of evacuation shuttles and humanitarian aid. The refugee camp that everyone is currently situated at should be a temporary base of operations for the time being until that Huntsmen base is established.

Personally, I'd create a councilor NPC to hand out these missions within the next post and maybe split the group into two to carry out some of these minor, short-term missions. A timeskip may be required, however, in order to allow for Violet to heal properly after being impaled with rebar.

I'm a new RP'er and I'd like to join your group, if you guys would let me.
Currently going through the other CS's and all recent posts to prepare my own character. Any tips or ideas?

I can see where you're coming from in this and that should come into play, but I believe for the moment being we should focus more on getting the characters fleshed out a bit more through what they're going about doing and possibly forming realtionships/friendships between characters. That way rather than having a bunch of randos meet up and work on things they're closer together and capable of doing more.

For the moment we should probably work on involving other characters yes. Since we're at a recovery camp it may be best to try out in finding more characters so we can group up and possibly get the other group involved too.. when they get the change to.

Edit: I mean do what ya want. What kind of specialist you want to be? Better question, what do you want your weapon or semblance to be.

I got all that covered, apart from semblance (I need to tweek my first idea because it would be a bit too similar to Venta Steele's Semblance)
I was talking about plot-important points, really, such as the idea the admin gave a few posts back about a newcomer actually being from another character's former team. Maybe there's a spot in the story you guys need filled in?
PS: Your CS is flipping awesome. I hope mine will be half as good when I finish.

Hm, can’t exactly say I might know what we need, other then more people to be part of the group I guess.

You could take one on my team or Zamasu Zamasu 's team, as they now have personality's and names.
But it's up to you.
 
CapRock CapRock Uh, Duke and Nilla are in a camp, that's away from the city, that's suppose to be like a safe zone. Though, just change that little part and it should be fine. Dont forget to tag people!

Right before I finished my post I realized the camp group already had four people so I had to find out where the other group was just to meet up with em
 
I've gotta say I'm liking these makeshift teams going on here. Just one more person and we'll be 8... Should we try to group up in two new teams of four? Might be more manageable during battle and missions.
