"Abo'r Scattir. I See you've met my sister." Abo'r remarked, before they started walking once more. According to what he know, they were supposed to collect something. A Statue of one of the most influential hunters and huntresses. He'd plan on taking the Stone ones, but knowing Incarat, he'll just go along on what she picks. Minutes had passed, and they were still finding where could the statues be. Just then, Incarat started to hum a tune. A Song which sung by Weiss Schnee, heiress of one of the leading manufacturers of Dust. It's quite a shame that she wasn't admitted to beacon.


"That song is called 'Mirror, Mirror', was it?" Abo'r asked when he heard Incarat hum the song's chorus.


"Oh, you've heard it too?" She cheerfully asked, stopping for a moment.


"You listen to it quite frequently." He remarked, looking to the direction they're walking at. "Rumor has it that she's about our age."

Interesting... Aqua thought. Soon enough, they found a temple. He spotted the statues. "Ah! There they are!" Aqua said, walking toward the statues.

"That was Quicker than expected." Abo'r said as they spotted the statues. Most of them were female while a few were males. He went over to the stone ones, picking up a statue of a boy with nothing but a sword and shield. "We only take one of these, right?" he asked, looking over at the others.


"So which one do you like, Aqua?" Incarat asked as tried looking at the silver ones. She thought it would be best to let one of them pick the statue they're taking.

Aqua looked at the stone ones. He immediately saw a stone statue of his father, Mark Inferno. Smiling a bit to himself, he grabbed the statue. "I like this one."

Varien rolled his eyes. "Don't give me that, I love my job! Regardless, Buck Birch, Heather Hart, Noir King, And Joy Citron have all landed in the forest. Also, Aqua and Incarat have killed the beowolf successfully." He stopped for a moment. "I really need to get out into the field at some point." He muttered to himself.

Roux Willow

The grass quietly crunched beneath Roux's shoes while he walked through the woods. Ater standing around for a minute, he decided it would be best to start moving forward. His hands gripped Chalcedony; his weapon, although he hadn't encountered any Grimm yet. The worst of his injuries so far were scratches from the fall that had been healed not long ago.


After several minutes of treading through the forest, he came across a clearing, with a medium sized temple in the center. His eyes seemed to light up as he could make out the statues sitting on pedestals. Not only that, but he wasn't alone. Three others stood in the temple, talking among themselves.


Lowering the rifle, he slowly approached the temple and the trio. "Hello," he greeted, almost monotonously. He said nothing for a second, trying to think of what to say. "Are we the first ones here?"

"From the looks of it, yes." Aqua said, three of the Stone Statues taken off the pedestals. "My name is Aqua Inferno." Aqua introduced himself to Roux.

"Woah, that almost looks like you Aqua!" Incarat remarked as he chose the stone statue. Soon, the three of them notice the boy of brown approaching them.


"It would seem so." Abo'r replied, looking at him. He counted all of the ones he met after he landed, though quick, they had already formed a team. "Looks like you're the last one needed to complete our team. I'm Abo'r Scattir, the girl near Aqua is Incarat Denzeur. May i ask your name?"

Roux Willow

Now closer to the statues, Roux could see they were right. Only a few of them were gone, and the number of empty spots matched the ones holding onto statues. He was surprised that he was one of the few who got there first, although it wasn't evident in his stiff expression.


Then these three are my teammates now, he concluded from what they stated. He moved the rifle behind his back, which audibly had been sheathed. He then stepped onto the temple with the rest of the group, briefly glancing at the statues before facing them. "My name is Roux Willow," he introduced.

"Well, it is very nice to meet you, Roux." Aqua said politely to Roux.

"Alright, we got the statues. So what's next? Do we just run back to the launchers?" Abo'r asked, he only knew on what's the goal, but not what to do afterwards. Incarat held a statue of a cloaked girl who wielded nothing.


"Hello there, Roux~" Incarat smiled cheerfully at the boy, who seemed to be at the same age as her. . .

Aqua's eye twitched ever so slightly. He seems like the same age as her... Aqua thought.

[Ninth]

Eminence Oathborn


A howl pierced through the forest, as if calling out for a chorus. Some unfortunate soul had shaken a pack leader, perhaps that was why nothing would meet her. Without hesitance, she charged forward in the name of no eminence. She desired not fame, but to aid another all the same. She knew she was weak, but that was no reason to be bleak. A potential ally lied ahead, for that thought she was led. No matter the danger, she would not be that stranger. Her future rested in the idea of equivalence, this was no time for ambivalence.


Her feet proved nimble, whilst her heart pounded with each passing step. Soon her eyes rested upon the running boy, followed by none other than the beowolf who released the howl. With her distance set, she attempted to match their pace without notice. Only when this pace was matched would she alter her path to meet with the other. "Quite the friend you made." She spoke softly, a light playfulness attempting to breach her obviously winded voice. "Do you happen to have a plan?" It was mildly painful to admit, but at the time of her approach she was entirely focused on finding the beast and it's object of attention rather than plotting the actual retrieval.


Without further word, Eminence drew her sword, quickly releasing it's bind in order to form it into a bow. She held the weapon firmly, a mild light of energy forming the shape of an arrow as her aura was siphoned. She wanted to be ready if the individual chose to fight, but still her eyes searched for methods of escape rather than confrontation. After all, she was doubtful that her defensive style would prove useful against an elder beowolf if melee combat were to occur. "Show no hesitance, for if you need to use me then proceed without worry.' It would appear as if confidence was settling with her bow drawn. However, in truth a burning pain was already growing due to her lacking stamina.

Roux Willow

"Nice to meet you all too," Roux replied to Aqua and Incarat. He noticed more of the features of the trio, like the Faunus ears of Incarat, and how Abo'r looked like he was younger than the rest of them. "I'm not sure what we do next, if someone mentioned it, I don't think I remember... " he trailed off as his attention turned to the statues. He picked up a stone one; the figure represented having a brick-like figure. He stared down at the statue in his hands, not noticing the way Aqua was looking at him.

... Wait, why do I even care? Aqua thought. "Alright, my best guess on what to do is to head back to the cliff, I guess." Aqua said. "C'mon, let's go." Aqua said, turning around and walking back to the cliff, his team behind him. Aqua adjusts his headband slightly to his his blue wolf Faunus ears hidden.

"Alright. Let's-" Just as Abo'r decided to move, is just when he heard an Eagle's cry. He recognized this cry, a nevermore is near the area.


"Bird alert!" Incarat called out, aiming her minigun at the somewhat approaching bird. The Giant bird bore black feathers which looked like an Eagle, and a crescent bone-like mask on it's head.


"Alright, run!" Abo'r said, as he ran back to the forest. Incarat followed afterwards, still shooting at the Nevermore. For some reason, they seemed to attract a nevermore's attention.

"Run? Tsk, I'm not gonna run! I'm gonna fight that Nevermore!" Aqua said, using his semblance, Teleportation. He teleported on top of the Nevermore and stabbed his sword against the Nevermore's head.

This was bad! This was really bad!


Behind him, he coul hear the beowolf ripping apart trees and stomping on bushes just to get closer to eating him, causing him to run even faster! He needed a miracle!


"Quite the friend you made."


Eyes widening, he looked next to him to see a girl now running with him. He chuckled nervously, another howl-like roar behind him telling him what their exact relationship was. The girl had asked him for a plan, causing him to give her a strained smile. "O-Of course! J-Justice always has a plan! ...erm."


He looked around, trying to think. He wasn't going to take the risk fighting it, not wanting to injure his new companion. And out-running it was out of the question! So, the only thing they could do was...slow it down!


"I-I got an idea!" He took his guns for his holsters, praying to oum in hopes he didn't forget to load them. He turned slightly just to where he could see the beowolf without tripping and aimed the two guns at one of its eyes. With a sigh, he held his breath and squeezed the triggger.


BANG!





Virgo's eyes widened as the beowolf howled in pain, a hollow, see-through hole where its eye used to be. Dazed and now confused from having to see out of one eye, the beowolf had quickly tripped on its own paws and landed snout first in the dirt. Stopping, he pointed to it. "Quick! Aim for the head before it gets back up!"

"Aqua!" Incarat turned and aimed once more at the Nevermore as she fired at it once more. The Nevermore seemed to be falling down as Aqua stabbed the Nevermore's head.


"How'd he. . ? Dammit. . ." Abo'r cussed, jumping on a tree branch. he flicked a switch on his wrist. The canister placed in his sleeves were unlocked, as ash began to fall through. "Focus. . ." He took a deep breath, as the ash began to form into a Harpoon. "This'll do. Incarat, fling me up!" he said as he formed a seesaw out of hardened ash, he landed on one end.


"Heave!" Incarat switched her minigun into a hammer as the seesaw was being formed."HO!" she swung her hammer when Abo'r landed, causing him to be flung upwards. While airborne, he used his semblance to retrieve all the ash which he used. He adjusted his Dust cutter into a Shortblade, slicing the Nevermore's nape as he landed near the Nevermore's torso.


"That was reckless." He commented at Aqua's actions, raising his arm up. it circulated above his palm as the ashes formed into a giant harpoon. he swung it downwards, using the Giant Harpoon to pierce the Nevermore.


"Now we enjoy the view." Abo'r said, covering his face with the scarf. As the Nevermore slowly descends into the forest.

Roux Willow

After the cry of the Nevermore, Roux swiftly put the statue away, and stared up at the avian monster. He contemplated unsheathing his weapon, but he wasn't sure if he could do in time before it tried to attack them. He barely even noticed Abo'r yelling at them to flee, and only realized it when he and Incarat were already running back into the forest. To his shock, Aqua announced that he was going to fight it instead.


"Wait-" he called out, but with no avail. He disappeared in a flash, and reappeared on top of the Nevermore, attacking it with his sword. He watched the struggle, seeing the Grimm grow unsteady in its flight. His hand reached behind him to grab the rifle, but he stopped as Abo'r took action, creating constructs out of ash that fell from his sleeves. The ground below him shook slightly when the hammer collided, and after repositioning himself, he watched the rest of the "battle" in awe.

Abo'r and Incarat followed Aqua after he heads back into the woods. their destination is back at the cliff. The fight with the Nevermore seemed to be quick, although it was nice to finally kill some Grimm in this whole trip.

Azure Sneaux/Joy Citron

The faunus sat there, motionless and silent. Her long white hair draped down her back, the wavy, curly ends sprawled on the ground. The sun was barely poking through the dense, leafy canopy, as beams of light shined between the leaves and onto the ground before her. As the shock from free-falling faded into a memory, she slowly rose back to the surface of reality. The tendrils of time catching up with her, contstricting her till she returned to the present and focused on what lies ahead.


There was a slight change in pressure coming from behind her. The aura of another prickled and prodded her skin, as if someone tapped her shoulder, notifying they were there. It was almost as if auaras speak to her, seeing as how she can learn a lot about a person just by analyzing their aura and the energy they emit. Following the aura detection, the sound of flattened grass, and compressed forest dirt, made her ears flicker and rotate behind her, before even turning her head. She sat there for a moment, knowing where the person was gave her no reason to panic...sort of. The human's steps were light and cautious, careful as not to disturb something...or...careful as not to disturb her.


The small girl pulled in her legs underneath her, and rose to a stand, dusting herself off. She picked a few leaves out of her hair, then shook it out. After a quick groom, she returned her daggers back to their gun forme and stowed them away, where they belong. "Hello?" the stranger called put. The faunus turned to face the person behind her, blinking at their aura standing in the grey forest, staring with an empty gaze. The shy fox, didnt mind people at a distance, it was when they approached her that she grew nervous.


Still he grew closer, and as he neared her body language began to change. Her ears slowly descended to be flat on her head, her stance was low, and she was taking steps back little by little. Azure turned her head to side, ears perked toward a wall of shrubs. That was he exit. She faced him again, ready to bolt and just as he got too close for comfort (which...isnt even that close) she took off. Through the bushes and running on the other side. She looked back for a moment, to see if he followed until...bump! The faunus crashed into another wanderer. The tiny girl staggered back, losing her footing and falling on her bum, crashing down on her tail. She winced.


The ither girl how ever, was like a stone pillar, she was unwavering during the collision and just stood over her. The tiny faunus probably felt like nothing more than a fly,"Oh?" Joy looked down, where the faunus had landed,"Hi there~" she grinned, snake-like fangs baring. Joy reached out a hand,"Here lemme help you up~"


Azure hesitantly stuck a hand out, and when she was about to pull back, Joy lunged out and grabbed it anyway, pulling the small female to a stand. Her pull was powerful, Azure was sure the other girl lifted her up on her feet just with that pull, but she ignored. Joy blinked at the blind faunus,"What are you running from??" she looked behind her, wondering if there was a Grimm back there some where,"Hellooooo?" She called out past the shrubs.

Aqua, Abo'r, Incarat, and Roux got back to the cliff and saw Headmaster Flame and Professor Ember.


"Seems like you four are the first ones back here. Congratulations." Yarrow hands the four of them clipboards with a piece of paper in front. He also handed each of them a pen. "Check off one of each." Yarrow said.
