(Okay, let's get started!)

It was a beautiful day at Vale, most notably, Beacon Academy. All 16 students were at the edge of a cliff. In front of them was the Emerald Forest, where the initiation was taking place. All of the students were on gray platforms. Headmaster Yarrow Flame were right in front of them.

"Students..." He started. "This initiation... will tests your skills as Huntsmen and Huntresses. Fair warning... there are tons of Grimm in that very forest." Flame informed, looking over at the Emerald Forest. "If you're not careful... you could get hurt... or worse. Good luck to you all... and I hope you've come up with a landing strategy." A sound came from the platforms. "Trust me: You'll need one." Just then, the platforms moved up, one by one, sending students flying into the forest, one by one.

Aqua Inferno was the first one to get flown into the forest. Thankfully, he had a landing strategy. As he fell into the forest, he saw a branch on a tree. He grabbed onto the branch and looked down. He took out his weapon, Blue Flame, stabbed it into the tree and let go of the branch. With the help of Blue Flame, Aqua went down the tree. Once he got to the ground, he started speeding around the forest.

"Grimm, huh?" Abo'r sighed, staring off the distance. He had already known how to deal with Grimm since childhood. he put on his scarf around hus mouth. "Best of luck, sister." he chuckled looking at incarat, who was carrying Smiles in gun form.

"You too, Ash!" Incarat giggled as they both into the emerald forest.

As Imcarat flew, she switched her weapon into a hammer, smashing a tree to boost herself to another tree which she fell through the leaves and fell in an unsuspecting person. who cusioned her fall.

(@AnimeNerd5678 )

Abo'r landed on a tree branch safely. He began looking around to see if Incarat was nearby.

"Tsk. Did she land behind me or. . .?" Abo'r sighed, bringing out Dust cutter. "whatever. we'll worry about that later. remember your training with the tribe." he muttered to himself as he jumped down, walking through the forest.

This was it...Virgo was finally gonna make something of himself!

As the headmaster told his speech, the boy seemed to be barely listening, instead looking around at all the hunters/huntressess wildly. One of them would be his teammate! He couldn't believe this was actually real!

'C-Calm down, virgo!' Virgo thought, exhaling slowly. 'If you're gonna be the hero remmnant needs, you're gonna have to stay Focused. Now, all you have to do is pay attention to what the headmaster says, and you should be fine!' Virgo nodded. "You can do this." He whispered to himself before finally tuning back in to the headmaster's speech.

"... and I hope you've come up with a landing strategy."

Virgo frowned. "Wait. Why do we need-"

And then, the poor boy soon found himself flying. It took him a full minute to register this, but soon after, his eyes sparkled. "Whoa! I'm acutally flying!" He said, spreading his arms as he enjoyed the breeze on his face. He then frowned before he gasped in horror. "AGH! I'M ACTUALLY FLYING!" He then began flail around, his brain going into overdrive. What was he going to do?! Shield? No! Guns? No! Cape? Now that's just...the smartest idea he's ever had EVER!

Quickly untieing the cape from his neck, he soon closed his eyes and held it over his head.

'Please work. Please work. Please work. Please work.'

Slowly opening one eye, the boy grinned as his trusty cape slowly helped him descend into the forest as a parachute. "Haha! YES! Once again, Justice Prevails!"

BAM!

"AGH!"

Letting go of his cape, he soon found himself plummeting as soon as his face had crashed into a branch.

BAM!

"OW!"

BAM!

"My Arm!"

BAM!

"Wait, that one felt goo-"

BAM!

"NEVERMIND!"

The boy had hit branch after branch of the large tree before he finally had hit ground, groaning in pain as his cape slowly floated and covered his head. "J-Justice!" He began, twitching while laid out on the ground. "...Needs a nap!"

"W-whoops! Didn't see you there!" Incarat apologized, helping the blue haired boy get up. "I was busy falling, y'know. heh heh." She chuckled, picking up her weapon. "If i'm right, then you're one of my teammates!" she said in enthusiasm as they walked forward, "So. . . What's your name?" She asked the blue haired boy in curiosity, knowing that he'll be part of the team.

Abo'r kept moving forward, despite the fact that her sister still isn't there. Looking around, he heard rustling in the bushes.

"Incarat?" He muttered as checked to see. It wasn't a human, it was a tall black furred wolf-like creature with a white mask and bone-like spikes. "Hello again, Beowolf." he said as he jumped away backwards from it's attack. Soon, he was surrounded by them. Abo'r counted all of them as the Grimm circled around him.

"5 Beowolves. . .Easy enough." He grinned, extending his Dust cutter's blade into that of a short sword. "Alright, who's first?"

Aqua was helped up by the girl who nearly broke his back. Ughh... what is wrong with her!? At the very least, she could look at where she was goi- All the negative thoughts he had of her disappeared once he saw her. ... Oh my. She's... She's gorgeous. Aqua had dealt with beautiful women before, but her? She was gorgeous. The two of them had started walking and the girl had asked him for his name. Aqua cleared his throat. "My name is Aqua Inferno." Aqua introduced, wanting to satisfy the gorgeous girl's curiosity.

"Nice! I'm Incarat Denzeur, Nice meeting you!" Incarat cheerfully introduced herself to Aqua. He seemed nice, considering she almost broke his back when she landed. However, it looked like they have come to good terms almost immediately. Soon, a roar was heard, and a black bear-like creature with bone-like spikes appeared before them.

"Eat up!" Incarat said while switching her weapon into a minigun and took aim at the Bear.

(@AnimeNerd5678 )

Meanwhile, Abo'r was jumping all over the place as the beowolves were in an attempt to even strike him, which ended up striking another Beowolf. Soon, the beowolves began attacking each other.

"Gotcha." He muttered, firing multiple rounds of fire Dust at the Beowolves simultaneously. Few shots later, the Beowolves stopped moving. "Finally." he sighed, walking towards the first direction he sees.

Grau Kohlrabenschwarz

Grau's fade had become a mask of determination. His time at this academy would define him as a person, a Hunter, and a Kohlrabenschwarz. He kept his Axt-Pistolen in their holsters, standing in a ready stance, arms held out jnfront of him. He barely payed heed to the headmaster's words, already knowing fully well how this would work, according to what his family had told him. He was one of the first to launch, but he still kept track of where the others' trajectory was taking them, and where he predicted he would go, a black, swirling mass began to form. Once his platform catapulted into the air, he was already prepared. He felt the air whipping past him, and although he couldn't see too well, he allowed himself a grin, knowing he was approaching the location he had set. From the black mass, a large Raven formed. Grau landed on its back, and he could already feel the strain of summoning the thing. It carried him down to the ground, dropping him in a clearing. He let the Raven fade, as he slid out his weapons, allowing himself a few moments to breathe. He began to set off in the direction he had landed in, weapons at the ready.

Cruor Almos, The Gladiator

Cruor prepared himself as the students before him were sent flying into the forest before them. He waited, tense, for the platform to send him flying. After a moment, it did. The gladiator was sent flying into the forest. As he neared the treetops, his weapon morphed into two axes, allowing him to catch himself on the underside of the blade on a branch. He spun around the branch once. Twice. Three times before using his other blade to sever the branch from its tree. He hit the ground and just so happened to land next to a beowolf. Right before it swung, the branch that he had severed fell and impaled the Grimm through its neck. Shrugging it off, he changed his weapons back into their sword form before walking off in a random direction away from the cliffs.

Professor Varien Ember

Varien stood off to the side of the headmaster, watching through his helmet as the students were launched off into the forest. "I have hope for them, they seem strong enough to survive." He said, making marks in a leather-bound book as he watched the students in the forest from a video feed in his helmet. "Abo'r, Grau, Virgo, and Cruor have landed. Imcarat and Aqua have also landed and grouped up." Varien informed Yarrow. "So, what are the goals for the students this year?"

Aqua Inferno

"Let's do this!" Aqua got out his sword. He dashed toward the Ursa, jumped up and slashed at the Ursa's face. The Ursa roared and slammed its hand down on Aqua. Luckily, Aqua had moved to the right and dodged it.

(

Yarrow Flame

"... Statues, Varien. 16 small statues of the most well-known, influential Huntsman and Huntresses in ther world." Yarrow revealed.

At the temple where the statues are, there are 16 small statues. 4 of them were gold, another 4 statues were silver, 4 other statues were bronze, and the last 4 statues were made of stone.

Incarat immediately switched her weapon into a hammer, leaping near the Ursa while it was distracted by Aqua. She smashed her hammer near the Ursa, and flung herself to the other side near a tree. Switching it back into a minigun, she fired continously at the Ursa. Soon, Abo'r came into view from the side of the fight. Seeing Incarat dealing with a grim, he dashed forth, firing at the Grimm as he slowly approached them

(@AnimeNerd5678 )

Varien nodded. "I see...As I said, I have high hopes for them. They will succeed, I see it." He continued to scan over the cameras, watching Incarat and Aqua fight. "I see errors in their abilities, but nothing that cannot be ironed out. Incarat and Aqua seem to work well together. Agility and strength normally does."

Eminence Oathborn

The light breaths the escaped her lips were perhaps easily audible. After all, this initiation was the first step towards her goal that could only be achieved through the academy. Her form readied itself gracefully, but when others began launching a notable shake took to her frame. Was it the anxiety that all rested on a moment, or the excitement that movement was beginning towards what was lost? Regardless, all moments of hesitation were lost when the platform released and she was found airborne. With only a moment to regain composure, she was quick to draw upon her sword, eyeing her projected path.

However, chance arose with the passing of a taller tree protruding from the canopy. Quickly releasing the chain, she swung her elongated whip-like blade to catch it. Eminence swung around the tree, her downward momentum altering as her projection skewed to a horizontal alignment with the launch pads. Through the canopy she burst, meeting the the ground floor with heavy footing, sending her into a mild tumble.

"That could have gone a little better.." Eminence sighed, brushing herself off after standing. "Now where am I?"

Monzaria 'Zaria' Oathborn

Eyes peering forward, Zaria's frame remained motionless. Her frame was lowered, left hand idly resting on the sheathe, and right on the grip. It was as if she were preparing to strike even before the platforms were firing. All senses were toned, listening to the delay between each student being fired off. When her turn arose, her legs sprung forward with the platform, bringing extra distance to her launch. The only flaw coming to her form when she twisted around to face backwards, watching idly for her sister's landing zone whilst airborne. However, it would seem that her twin found difficulty in a proper landing. She met the canopy quickly, but with her momentum who knew how far she traveled within. She would have to find Eminence upon landing.

Twisting her form once more, she peered into the upcoming canopy. Only when the canopy enveloped her did she draw her blade, and in an instant was the slash of energy expelled from the blade. With destructive nature it shaved the trees that would be her obstacles. Following through in her flight to the opening straight to the ground floor where her landing was firm.

"To Eminence" Without hesitance she began to sprint, however all momentum was lost as she forcibly came to a halt. The bushes around her began to rustle, so her form lowered into a striking stance. Blade lightly showing it's edge from the sheathe as anticipation led her to believe her next moments would be with a Grimm.

Azure Sneaux

Fluffy white ears bounced and twitched, taking in the voices of the eager students on the metal grate with her. The petite faunus, was near the middle of the line up, and could hear and tune into each of their conversations. Some of the newbies already new eachother, or had just became friends. There were a variety of topics floating about, but Azure heard three major ones. One was about their weapons, and their inspiration behind it, another was the gossip of who dislikes who, and the last one was of who they hoped to get in teams with. But the voices had begun to hush when the headmaster gave a quick befriefing on their objective, "Students..." He began, his voice was loud and hefty for all to hear. "This initiation... will tests your skills as Hunstmen and Huntresses. Fair warning... there are tons of Grimm in that very forest." the headmaster warned. Azure blinked, her eyes rolling over to the source of the voice before her. There, she saw a grey verticle blob, enveloped in a bright yellow aura,"If you're not careful... you could get hurt... or worse. Good luck to you all... and I hope you've come up with a landing strategy." A landing strategy? But why would--

"Trust me, you'll need one." he warned once more. Her frosty, sapphire eyes blinked, staring into a colorless void. However when she moved her eyes toward the line of students, her "vision" gained all types of clashes of colors. Red, blue, green, orange, and some colors in between. Some auras buzzed and wiggled, matching the excitement and anticipation of their owners, others lazily waved to their own calm tempo of their tranquil owners. The tiny faunus sighed where she stood, her hands stiffly placed in front of her lap. She was much shorter compared to those on her left and right, and most probably saw her as a child.

The energy occupying the small area was uplifting and happy, but because there were so many students concentrated in one space emitting this atmosphere, it was overwhelming, and made her rather nervous. She shifted her weight, her white tail swishing with anticipation. Azure couldnt help but wonder why she had to come all the way to Beacon. She wanted to stay in Vacuo, in a place she knew very well. To a blind girl, coming to Beacon, a very unfamiliar place, was more daunting than it seemed.

In the distance she picked up some conversation between the headmaster and what sounded like another professor. The professor asked what the objective was, the whole reason as to why students are being launched in the first place. The headmaster answered with statues, appearently there are statues in the forest that they need to retrieve, 'Retrieve the statue,' she mentally noted. But where were they?

Azure's ears perked as she picked up the sounds of air moving, and the vibrations of said air being cut through with every launch. And following the sound, came the "good lucks" exchanging from one student to another. Suddenly the shy girl was more intimidated than ever. Heterochromic eyes glanced at the distorted shapes that resembled people. And one by one, they began to disappear. Her sensitive skin tingled with the sudden pressure change that took place beside her, when the student to her left flew. Which only meant she was next...

The couple seconds before launching felt like 5 minutes. Part of her wondered when it was going to happen already, while the other half didnt want it to happen at all. Then she heard the mechanisms beneath her begin to move preparing to fling the floor under her feet, her ears stood on their ends and she tilted her head facing the ground like a curious puppy. There was an audible click...followed by more silence...then WHOOSH! Azure let out a yelp of surprise as soon as she felt gravity pushing against her, trying to claim her, trying to pull her back down. But as soon as she reached her peak, she began to feel the uncomfortable weightlessness of her descent. That was something she did not like to feel, to her, it was almost as bad as swimming... Wind flooded her ears and tickled her nose. She looked ahead, at the horizon, the sky was a light grey and the forest tree line was several shades darker. At least she had a general idea of how close (or far) she was from the trees. But the sea of a charcoal forest grew bigger as she fell closer. 'A landing strategy,' she reminded herself.

The faunus' mind scanned for any potential plans. Some seemed more dangerous than others, but they were probably more effective. Others ended with more safe odds but the journey for that result was tedious and too precise. But she found a middle ground, and it would have to do. The petite girl swung her arms behind her, unhooking the pistols that clung to her lower back in a criss-cross, "X"-shaped fashion. Knowing they had a powerful kick, she aimed them below her, and shot several times, slowing her at least a little. She did this in intervals, until she met the tree line. With a flick of her wrist, the weapons switched into large daggers. The crash into the trees released all sorts of noise, the snapping of twigs and branches, rustle of leaves, and the squawks of birds fleeing the disruption. Some may have wanted a quieter entrance, but sound is partly how a blind girl "sees". She could pick up the sounds bouncing back to her, forming a mental image of what was around her. Branches are what she mostly saw around her, but thanks to the noise she was making, she could pinpoint where they were with the feed back she recieved and avoid them. Her large ears worked a lot like radars, picking up sonar.

Azure dug her blades into the side of a tree's trunk, sliding down some ways, leaving deep cuts on the tree's face as tracks. Noise was begining to bounce back from beneath her, and the further she slid down, the quicker she was recieving the sounds. The drag of her daggers in the tree slowed her momentum significantly, to a much safer, controlled speed. And eventually she reached the bottom. Last minute, shooken up leaves, driften quietly in her wake. Fox ears rotated toward each one that hit the ground after her.

She stood there for a moment, her heart beating furiously in her ears. Azure let out a long huff of relief and she collapsed to her knees then threw herself onto her back. Being in the air was a serious scare, and she was relieved it was over. She tried her best not to panic, but it caught up with her as soon as she landed. Her adrenaline surged through her veins, the reason behind her quickened heart beat. She layed there for a moment and whispered with a shakey voice,"It worked..." she said with a tint of disbelief. Wait...was she unsure of her own plan? In any case, it worked and thats all that mattered. The faunus took a moment to catch her breath, calm her nerves, and regather her barings.

A leaf, which was very late to the falling party, drifted down and landed on her face. The sensation made her shoot up, sitting at an upright position. The little bugger managed to sneak up on her. Normally, her heightened senses would have felt the change in air as it fell, but with the previous free-fall still in her mind she was a little distracted....and mentally exhausted. But she had to get a move on, she had a statue to bring back, and a point to be made. The point being that even a small girl, with a visual disability can become something like a hunter. She wasnt going to let it be an obstacle in her life, and she most certainly didnt want others feeling sorry for her. She saw this as an extra challenge the others didnt have, and because of that, it made her all the more stronger.

(I could keep going but Im gonna pause the novel here xD )

Cruor Almos

Cruor stopped, standing perfectly still as a faunus girl slid her way down a tree using a pair of daggers. When she fell onto her back, he almost moved to say something, but instead a stray leaf fell onto her face, causing her to bolt up. He stopped mid-step, hesitant to move. After a moment, he continued to walk forward, grass crunching under his feet. He could see her clearly now, white hair and ears, not sure what type of faunus, fox possibly. "Hello?" He called carefully, trying not to startle her.

@HoneyBear-Kat

Professor Varien Ember

"Status update, the Oathborn's have landed as well as Azure Sneaux, who has met with Cruor Almos. This should be an interesting pair, yes?" He asked the headmaster. "Regardless, each student thus far has a viable landing strategy. I look forward to sharpening their edges."

Sylphid Zephyr

A loud audible yawn escaped the small girls mouth as she was basically pushed onto the launching platform, she had what just woke up less than five minutes ago from as usual another nap that was the third one this morning from what she first woke up less than an hour ago, right now she was outright bored and on the brink of taking another nap that was until she heard what the headmaster had to say, that woke her up slightly and as her fellow students started to fly that mostly woke her up and when it was her turn well by fair she didn't have a landing plan the only thing she can think of right from the top of her head was to become a treehugger seriously she was in a place full of trees what better way was they to land..of cause it would be very interesting in order to try and hug a tree while flying through the air at a high speed but hell she didn't have a better plan.

While flying through the air her yawn changed to a sigh as she quickly pulled out both her weapons. "Seriously whats the point in this." A very quiet near silent voice spoke as she looked forward and saw a tree in her way that would be her 'hugging' point. Sylphid shoved her weapons into either side of the tree and arched her feet around it slowing her descent, another yawn escaped here mouth as she completely stopped. She was about half way up the tree perfect. She slowly began to remember what the head teacher told the group to do something about but it just occurred to her she was mostly asleep through the whole thing she quickly took one hand off the tree and slapped herself with it before re-grabbing her weapon. She slowly puled on of her weapons out and placed it back in its holster before doing the same with the other holding on with one hand ensuring she would fall.

"Now what?"
Sylphid questioned before looking down it was too far to risk falling down and sliding would just ruin her clothing something she would rather avoid so they was just one thing left to do. Sylphid using one hand removed her scarf and wrapped it around her hand, she then leaped to the tree across from her and swung the scarf around it grabbing it with her other hand this created a harness of sorts around her giving her and easy way down...or she could go up. Staying what she was or even better getting higher up. If she got higher and higher she would be able to see things easier and not to mention she would only have to watch out for any nevermore's and would be able to ignore everything else.

Sylphid began tapping the tree over and over until she finally decided that she would go down, Ursa compared to nevermore's would be much more easy, not to mention in this terrain she was the king of the forest. The area she was in was perfect, lots of trees places slightly higher and lower this place was like made for how she fights hitting and running in areas like this is child's play but of course sometimes child's play can be fun for everyone.

Roux Willow

One by one, students were flung into the air as soon as the headmaster finished his speech. Roux eyes were focused on the stretch of forest in front of him and the ones already airborne. Most of them seemed have some landing strategy worked out, and as they started to disappear into the Emerald Forest, he shifted his focus back to it.

The distance from here to the forest is a long drop already, being in the air must make it worse, so taking in Headmaster Flame's warning would most likely prevent any fatalities, he analyzed, his brow furrowed. Everyone seems to be using the trees as a way to catch themselves mid-fall. I can't use my Semblance, it would only affect me negatively if I tried to grab one of the branches with it. Could I just use my hands instead- His train of thought was interrupted as he was thrown into the air.

Next thing he knew, he was flying through the sky, barely keeping his posture straight. His arms waved around in confusion while he was still trying to think of a way to secure himself. Then, an idea hit him. Steadying himself, he watched below him until he was getting close to a tree lower to the ground than most of them. He unsheathed his weapon, switching it into its shield mode immediately. As it formed, his descent seem to quicken. Once he was close enough to the tree, he reached out and grabbed onto one of its branches.

He sighed, holding onto the branch with his free hand. After a second or two, he let go of it, and dropped down to the ground. He examined around him, it didn't look like there was anyone; or anything nearby, but he didn't want to take any chances. After a bit of time, the shield had become a rifle, which he held close to him. He kept standing in place, like an animal watching out for predators.

Clementine Sienna

Clementine could feel her heart pounding, becoming more noticable as less and less students stood at the other side of her. Her hands were placed her hips, making herself look taller and more assured, and it kind of made her feel a little more prepared. As the last one next to her flew away, she held her breath. Following them, she was flung into the sky above the forest. Her pose didn't exactly make the flight any easier though.

The pounding of her heart continued just as strong, but the wind drowned out the sound as it blew at her. A feeling of panic rushed through her. She swore she had an idea of what she could do to land, but now it was lost while she soared over the forest. Her eyes were wide as she tried to see everyone else that was doing, but most of them had already landed, and she noticed she was starting to fall downward. Without haste, she unsheathed her staff, pointing it at an angle in front of her.

The end of the staff stabbed into the trunk of one of the trees. In shock, her mouth was slightly opened, and she was hanging from her staff. I'm alive? she thought, and then looked below at at the ground. "Yes!" she exclaimed, smiling. She jumped down, and then pulled herself up to her feet, and then pulled the staff out of the tree.

She turned around left and right, but it seemed she was alone, and she had no idea where she was. Staff in hand, she began to march through one of the clear paths. She occasionally stopped to glance and make sure that there wasn't any Grimm.

Joy Citron

Joy stood on the platform, her arms crossed with a confident grin. Her lime-green goggles glinting from the sun over head. Her bright rose-red eyes scanned the faces of the other students in line with her. Slitted pupils contracting and expanding as the sun blazed in them, she squinted. "Students...." the headmaster's voice caught her attention instantly. Joy whipped her head around to look at him, her snow white braids swishing with the motion. She blinked at him, still wearing the smirk/smile on her face that never seemed to cease, like the curved mouth of a snake's own smile. The headmaster continued on with his debriefing of the initiation and the launch as their mode of transportation. After some students already launched he mentioned something about statues. "Statues?" She asked her self,"Alrighty then~" her bubbly voice chimed.

One by one, the launching students were a count down to her own release. Three left till her own launch. Joy raised a hand, reaching for the goggles on her head and sliding them down to the bridge of her nose. Two left. The girl stretched her arms and rolled out her neck. She pressed a button on each of the bracers on her wrist, and metal unfolded into gauntlets over her hands, palms and fingers. One left. Flashing one last cheeky grin, she bent her knees, one fist making a thunk as the heavy metal of her gauntlets were placed on the platform she stood on. She was ready. The last student to her left was released and in a few seconds she went after.

The metal grate flung itself and Joy with it. The optimistic female let out a squeal of excitement as she cut through the air at a remarkable speed. Joy was very grounded in her fighting. Heavy punches, brute strength, and sheer force, she was never in the air often. Compared to someone who was light on their feet with great agility, she was slow and remained low on the earth. So naturally, flying through the air was a real treat for her, she never expected it to be so exhilerating. How ever the freedom was short lived, as gravity did its thing she descended back to the ground. 'Oh, fun's over..' she thought. She decided she wasnt going to gently into that good night, and would instead beserk her way back to the ground....typical of her, really. Joy grinned as she activated her power hungry semblance, she turned her body so that she was falling head first. She stuck out one fist, her sembkance ready and charged up.

Joy bull dozed through the canopy, snapping the tops of trees, ripping through thick branches, I mean she just plowed her way through. When she got close enough, she pushed off one branch and flipped to get herself upright again. Falling feet first now, she collided with the ground with a loud thud and tumble-rolled with left over momentum. She sprung to her feet when she came to a halt. Dirt was kicked up, along with fallen leaves and branches littering the ground around her. She dusted her shoulders and thighs before turning around. Even the earth gave in to her strength, she narrowed her eyes at the shallow crater she left behind when she initially landed,"Awww," Joy pouted, raising her dusty goggles back onto her head,"Ive done better..." still, a crater was a crater, and her peppy attitude (mixed with a short attention span) brushed it off and continued her way,"Now for those statues..." she smiled, serpent eyes looking from side to side, taking in her environment. She took off in a jog, wanting to work quickly rather than effectively. She wasnt too worried about finding anyone in the forest, whether she worked alone or ran into someone, it didnt matter to her. Joy held no preference.

"...W-Well...At least I landed!"

With a grunt, virgo picked himself up from the ground. It was gonna take a lot more than a few broken bones and lowered self esteem to bring a hero like him down! Now, what was it that the headmaster said again? Something about...STATUES! That's right! All he had to do was find statues! That shouldn't be too hard! Dusting himself off, he grinned and began to walk in a random direction. This was it! A true test of his heroism! There was nothing that was gonna stop him now!

His eyes widened as he heard a rustle. Quickly turning to the source of the sound, he pointed to a bush. "Show yourself!" The rustling began to increase, the bush now visibly shaking. He began to sweat and slowly reached for the shield on his back, eyes narrowing. "C-Come on out! I know you're there!" The rustling stopped and glowing red eyes appeared in the center, causing him to stiffen with a whimper. Don't back down. Don't back down! The monster slowly began to walk out the bush, causing virgo to stumble back as he was now face to face with...

A baby beowolf?

It looked basically like a puppy, ears pointed upward and bone mask covering most of its eyes. It slowly walked up to virgo, who's eyes followed it in shock, and sat down in front of the boy, tounge out and demonic little tail wagging. Virgo looked down at the small thing before laughing and crouching down, scratching behind its ears. "Aw! So Cu-" It bit him on the hand, causing him to slowly widen his eyes.

He blinked. And blinked again. He then began to blink rapidly before screaming as he flailed his hand, trying to dislodge the pup from it. "Please let go, Please let go, Please let go!" The pup growled as it was shaking up from down to left from right before it finally let go, crashing into a tree with a sickening crack. Virgo gasped and covered his mouth! What had he done!? Even if it was demonic, he didn't want to hurt it! Just get it off!

The pup slowly got up, causing virgo to sigh in relief. "Phew! Thank oum, you're-" The pup soon howled, causing virgo to tilt his head and raise an eyebrow. What exactly was it doing? Vrigo's eyes widened as he felt thumps slowly come toward his location before a tree had fell behind him. Slowly turning around, he looked all the way up to see the biggest beowolf he'd ever laid eyes on. It slowly crouched until its snout was in front of virgo's face, causing him to shiver and chuckled nervously.

"N-Nice doggy?"

A giant howl echoed across the forest, and that was virgo's queue to run.

Heather Hart

Heather Stood on the platform with her eyes closed and arms crossed over her chest in a nonchalant manner. She listened intently while the Headmaster spoke and when the first person was launched, Heather prepared herself by opening her eyes and widening her stance, Heaven & Hearth started to float ahead where the students are being launched, Heather already had a Landing plan all ready, and one that won't leave covered in leaves. When it was her turn to be launched she wasn't expecting the speed at she was launch but it didn't changed her plan much. Heather stood up as straight as she could and One of the Hearth Units floated under her feet and activated it's Gravity dust Reserves to the surrounded area so Heather's mass would be much lighter and the force she was launched at was lighten tremendously, so now it's smooth traveling from here to the ground.

When Heather was finally close enough to the ground to jump off Hearth Unit 002 safely to the ground without using her Aura to handle some of the fall. Heather pushed her hair back in a swooshing manner and looked back where she was launched, she was much farther then she expected, but that was a good thing, it is their mission to reach the other side after all. Heather scanned the skies for all the Heaven and Hearth units, which all of them was accounted for.

Heather Glared forward as she prepared to walk off on her own, with her Weapons to back her up. She was prepared to kill any Grimm that gets in her way. With a quick gather of her thoughts, Heather started to walk farther away from the cliff.

NOIR KING

Noir stood on the metal plate waiting for whatever was going to come, maybe it would be fun, I mean nothing bad ever happened during these trials right. Plus he could swear that he was feeling lucky today. Super lucky. Noir watched the headmaster as he spoke, standing arms behind his back, his tie gently tucked into his vest, his outfit screamed age of the mobsters. He looked straight out of film noir. On his back was a smaller version of his actual weapon, at first it looked just like a massive slot machine, an older one. It had dings all over in it and had quite the design. Royal words spelling out the name "Lady Luck". The center of the Machine spun at a quick rate, to fast for most to see. It looked as if it had been through a lot, oddly enough it did not seem that violent. As the headmaster said something about people getting hurt Noir seemed to narrow his eyes in a bit of confusion. He looked out into the forest again. Quite the pickle he had found himself in.

As soon as the headmaster finished he said something quite odd "A landing strategy.." Noir looked at his feet and just as he did he heard someone near the front get launched. His eyes widened and he looked back forward still keeping his proper composure but he broke once the third kid was launched. His wide eyes turned to anxiety and an odd face. He quickly grabbed his shield off his back and it slowly came out of its compressed version. Fifth kid got launched, Noir started to twitch grabbing a hold of the lever "Just remember maybe lucks on your side today...yeah luck....is on....your side..." Noir says as the seventh person was launched that person plummeting and smashing into the ground. He gave the most fearful looking face, a quite disturbed one "LEVER, LEVER" he yelled grabbing the lever and attempting to pull it, it would not budge....2 more and he was going to be sent into the cosmos. He kept hitting the lever and actually got on top of the shield and started to kick the lever "LUCK WHY HAVE YOU FORESAKEN MEEE" he yells still on top of the shield and shaking his hands at the sky. Too bad he was not ready for what was about to happen. CLICK....WHOOSH.

Noir was flung into the air, remember that prim and proper guy earlier. Yeah he was replaced by a screaming idiot who was riding his shield like a rocket. In mid air he quickly put his arm into the shield and grabbed the lever. Should he try it? Would he be lucky this time? YES, he knew he would be lucky today so with all his confidence he pull the lever and took a heroic pose as the Slots began to slow. Click...Click...Click. Three pictures shown on the front of the shield. A gravity dust symbol, a joker and a gravity dust symbol. Wonder what that pattern meant. Noir opened his eyes and he was floating his arm locked into the shield. "WOOOOOO, IM A WINNER" Noir yelled as the shield began to shake and glow black, it started to get really heavy. And before noir knew it, he was being drug down to the earth at breakneck speeds. "LUCK WHY HAVE YOU FORESAKEN ME AGAIN" Noir yells just as his face and body connect to the ground.

Noir groaned and got up shaking his head, his aura saved his life....but he had another problem. The shield was still clamping down on his arm and glowing. "I should just crawl up and GOD DAMN STUPID WEAPON I love you so much but you need to stop trying to kill daddy." he says twitching a bunch as his personality changed about three times. While using his free hand to dust himself off he soon realized he was being dragged towards a thorn bush "Wait, WAIT, STOP" Noir yelled, as many could guess it did not stop. Noir now was floating it the air covered in thorns and dirt. Would he ever get down. Who knows.

"Id invest in better quipment, I recken yalls has some sort of m-a-l function." A voice says as a blur shot past and stopped in front of Noir.

BUCK BIRCH

Buck was next to the weirdest fellow he probably had ever seen, guy went from 0 to 100 real fast. He looked like some sort of rich guy or butler but soon enough he started going nuts. Buck stood quite disturbed and gave a disgusted face as the guy went nuts. Buck really did not listen to the whole speech. He was busy analyzing the people round him. Blah blah blah, all they seemed to do was smack there lips with no breaks. Buck shook his head and got into a runners stance and waited. He had a good feeling what was going to happen and the first fella who got launched just confirmed his suspicions.

Soon enough Buck was in the spotlight. He waited and as soon as the butler was launched he got ready. The plate sent him flying and he kept his composure quickly flicking his arm as a flattened compacted rope flopped down and slowly started to turn into its normal state. He quickly flung it at a tree and as he slowed down ripped the rope and brought it back to himself. Landing on the ground he strapped his helmet on as Vectors began to form in front of him and he shot forward a loud noise could be heard as he blasted through the forest and into an open area. Soon enough he came across what he suspected to be his team mate.

What in the hell was he looking at. As Buck slowed down he shot in front of what he suspected to be the butler "Id invest in better quipment, I recken yalls has some sort of m-a-l function." Buck says having poking fun at the guy by spelling mal and saying function. Buck looked up at the guy and took off his helmet and started to pull out a lasso, it glowed black like Noir's Shield. "My luck did not work..." Noir says quietly sobbing to himself and then turning his floating self to the guy "Just...HANGING AROUND" Noir says giving a weird smile as he said it. "Kid don't you go and make no jokes or ill leave yall there to get eaten live by all the grimm" Buck says quickly flinging the lasso at Noir, it wrapped around and slowly brought Noir down. But not before Noir's shield decided to get one last word. The shield stopped glowing meaning all the upwards force was now gone. SO the gravity dust would just drag him down faster now. Noir connected with the ground pretty quickly. A small groan could be heard from the ground. Buck walked up to him and kicked his body as the lasso retracted back to his hand and flattened and wrapped around his arm. "Still kickin'?" Buck asked. Noir let out a loud gasp as his aura seemed to glow for a second. "Sadly still kickin'" Buck says putting his cowboy hat on and sticking his horns out and compacting his helmet and wrapping it around his neck because it had compressed into a necklace.

Buck looked at the butler "Butler, names Buck and I presume we are now team mates." Buck says his thick accent making it hard to understand him. "I'm Noir..." Noir says face in the dirt but in a matter of seconds he shot up "THE LUCKIEST MAN IN VALE" he yelled a huge smile on his face. Buck looked at him with a disgusted look again "Sure ye are.." Buck says, damn he got stuck with a guy with a few screws loose. Great way to start the day. Buck and Noir headed out after they talked for a bit more.

Aqua Inferno

Aqua threw his sword at the Ursa's head, successfully killing it. Yes! Aqua thought to himself, walking to the dead Ursa and pulling his sword out of its head.

Yarrow Flame

Yarrow chuckled to himself. "Of course you are, Varien. Of course you are..."

"Yay! We did it!" Incarat said as the Ursa fell into the ground, lifeless. "We make a good team Aqua!" she smiled, complimenting him cheerfully. She finally saw a particular man with a grey scarf and black hoodie in the distance, approaching them.

"Ah, Abo'r!" She called out, waving to him. Abo'r waved back, finally seeing who else was with her. A Man with blue hair, one with a Blue blade and a golden scabbard. He approached the his sister and her follower, who seemed to be on good terms with her. This bugged Abo'r entirely. How long have they been together? How did they meet? These questions were rampant on his head while keeping a straight face.

"Like promised, we're on a team together." Abo'r told Incarat, who seemed to be glad that both of them were in the same team. "And who are you?" Abo'r asked the man politely, hoping to know how he encountered his sister.

"Me? I'm Aqua Inferno." Aqua answered politely. He realized that the black-hoodied man and Incarat knew each other and that he should be careful.
