Fandom RWBY: Adventures in Vale

I would like to apologize for not posting recently. Been super busy, moving and what not. I won't be able to post when I officially move. So... I'll be back when I can.

It's ok. Warzii seems like the type to spend his first weekend off on some crazy solo adventure, which you can tell us all about when you get back.

Might I suggest that you make the dream sequence a different font, or put it in Italic, so that we know it's not actually happening.
Thought it was a thing thats happening for a second

Meant to put at the top in the past then put in the present later, must have been too tired I am sorry my friend.

Forgot to put something in about him leaving previous to the shark teeth guy getting there, just so no one really noted him leaving. Nothing good comes after 2pm I guess.

@The Succubi Queen

"They won't mess me and everyone I care about up like in the movies, right?" "If it like, helps keep Vale safe or whatever..." Lol. I think Hansi has watched one too many gangster movies.

Speaking of thinking, What the hell was Argen thinking when he said that, @shadowz1995 ? What in the world made him think it was okay to talk about killing people? This isn't some lawless world where you can just shoot anyone that pisses you off. It is very much illegal to kill people. While trained Huntsmen do have a licence to kill, it is only in specific circumstances, and Argen is still only in training.

Also, Huntsmen aren't just monster slayers, they are tasked with protecting all life and upholding the laws. They are basically a combination of a soldier, a bounty hunter, and an elite police force. Argen could not have joined Beacon without knowing this, and he could not have chosen to become a Huntsmen without realizing that his past as a killer could never be reveled, because it made him the very thing that the Huntsmen fought against.

And he just told a diner full of Huntsmen-in-training, the future peacekeepers of the world, that he was murderer and that he would gladly do it again.

Hansi is a small innocent child, let her enjoy bad movies! Her nickname of Lazulii is based off of an old bollywood gangster movie, so like, might as well roll with it.

Father...was an....assassin. He was trained by his father....he went on missions sent by his father.... For tests.....so it wasn't just baseless slaughter. It was planned and tactical. And I'd greatly appreciate it if you first off respect my characters background. I'm sure well aware this isn't a lawless world where you can just kill whoever looks at you the wrong way. Its why Argen is so in control all the time. Second off, as previously stated he is not only a great knight but a trained assassin. ASSASSINS KILL PEOPLE if you weren't aware. High value targets. I havent divulged who and I haven't divulged who for because I would like to keep that in the IC. So do me the huge favor of NOT treating me like I don't know what I'm doing. For all you know Argen could have been employed by vale's military while he was still in training to take out high value members of the white fang. That's still considered assassination. And he wouldn't be considered a bad guy or a villain for that.

Well, to be frank, our characters don't know that? They just kind of know he admitting to spilling blood, and while Hansi might think he's just exagerrating or kidding around, it's kind of intense subject material for high schoolers? I mean, I understand that it's justified in your backstory, and that you know what your doing, but I think talking about killing people might be outside of the scope of acceptable semi-casual conversation between our characters?

Oh of course I'm well aware it wasn't exactly appropriate. I know that. Argen was musing more to himself than actually telling all of them. But I'm well aware of the rules and laws of the world. But I don't appreciate being told in that fashion. I know they don't know that. I'm not upset at saffron. Saffron didn't do anything wrong.

In case you missed it, I wasn't asking what you were thinking. I was asking what you're character was thinking. I wasn't questioning his past, I was questioning his present. I was questioning why a person trained to be an assassin, trained to think, would do something as dumb as announcing that he was a killer to a bunch of people that are legally obligated to arrest killers.

I never said that you didn't know what you were doing. I simply asked what you were doing and pointed out why I was confused. But since you have decide to take it personally and got defensive, allow me to point out the flaws in your argument...

1) Assassins hired by the military are part of the military. They are Army and Marine snipers or Special Forces members. Assassins like James Bourne are members of the CIA or M16 with top level security clearance.

2) Military is owned by the government and no government would ever, or could ever, legally hire a seventeen year old for military work.

3) If Argen was a freelance assassin that the government hired, it was not done through legal means and Argen would still be a criminal.

It was never about respecting his background. It is about keeping facts strait. Facts about government, basic morals, law, and logic.

Yeah that's great and all except that isn't how the government in RWBY necessarily works. We actually don't know very much about how they operate and IF they have kids that are barely 15 give or take a few years training and fighting to be the protectors of the world AND that they do work with the military in some part, it isn't that far of a stretch to say there could be young assassins or government agents provided they are skilled enough. You are basing your thoughts on OUR reality. In reality, there has never been a set age limit for RWBY and the military in it so I CAN work off of that and there shouldn't be any problems with the lore. After all , it doesn't deny the possibility of it nor does it say an age limit. So you can't say any government under 17 yadda yadda. You don't have proof. They never stated otherwise. Therefore I'm still working within the boundaries of the RWBY universe. So STOP.

Also morals? Morals are always a matter of perspective and can't be judged. So everything you have said is baseless because we aren't working in our reality and I'm working within the reality of RWBY. So if you wanna go there

1.) RWBY never stated anything about having marines navy air force or any of this stuff you stated. No any kind of upper echelon spies. Invalid. They have militaries but the inner workings of said militaries and branches and what not have never been delved into. I can work within the dark spots of the lore until specifically stated otherwise.

2.) You don't know that. RWBY hires incredibly young people , Almost CHILDREN still, to fight FOR THE SAKE OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. A young assassin working to take out high value targets in terrorist groups is NOT that far of a leap and entirely possible with the RWBY universe. Especially if the supposed young person was trained by a renown assassin of that world. Again invalid.

3.) I never claimed he was freelance. Invalid again. I said it was to he declared.

I want you to read your own post again. Go ahead. You tell me if that sounds like you simply asking me what I was doing because the quote is there but I'll write again for you. "What the hell was Argen thinking when he said that." "This isn't some lawless world where you can just shoot people you don't like." "Hunters have licenses to kill but Argen is only a hunter in training." You also said he just declared being an outright murderer and that he would gladly do it again.

So to you and anyone else reading this? This sounds like you got it all figured. It doesn't sound like your asking me anything more like your TELLING me everything. It sounds like your TELLING me that my decision with my character was not only wrong but stupid. It sounds like your TELLING me that idk what I'm doing because of how YOU think this world should work. What it sounds like is you weren't asking me anything. ASKING me something goes along the lines of "Shadow... How come Argen just publicly admitted to being a murderer. Killing Is still illegal so how would he have been able to get away with something like that." Or something among those lines. And I would have responded muuuuuuuch better. And your supposed question would have been answered. But what you did? No that wasn't questioning me. No you gave me a whole paragraph of why you think it was stupid and stating all your reasons for it . that wasn't asking
