Black Market Witch
Lazuli
Lazuli watched Teal hit the ground, face first. He . . . Was probably okay. Probably. Maybe. She should probably check. But a twitch alerted her that he was alive at least. See. He was fine. The return of his sarcasm signified so as well. "Well, it's no fun if you just up and die, Suzy," she laughed.
She moved to get up but found it difficult to do so. Noticing his boomerangs and the gravity dust being used, she beamed. Looks like he was angry. Yay. Lazuli had managed to actually make Teal fight back. She wanted to see what sort of face he must've been making but she couldn't. Even with his glasses broken and on the ground, he was facing away from her. The only thing she could make out was some form of glow coming from his head, making her gasp in shock. Could it be . . . Could it be that he was actually pretty? Prettier than the cute and adorable Lazuli? Nah.
She entertained this thought a little longer until Teal turned to face her, demanding that she pay for his glasses. To this, she laughed, looking up at him with a bright grin. "I like this Teal a lot more. How do we get him to stay?" This was a much better improvement than the sad voiced Teal she had heard earlier.
