Fandom RWBY: Adventures in Vale [No Longer Accepting]

Oracle made her way to the locker room, shut her weapon in locker 1250 calmly, trying not to feel even more insecure about her position. She stepped away from the locker, almost feeling a burden being lifted, then followed the group to the Ballroom. There, she grabbed a sleeping bag she had packed and placed it on the ground in a disorganized fashion. She cursed herself for being unorganized, and tried straightening the mat. After about 30 seconds, she had to wrestle with the mat to try and make it ordinary... Only to attract the attention of everyone. She stopped, then straightened the bag with a very awkward smile and climbed into it.
Hansi stood awkwardly as Jade spoke to Sapphire.
"A sleepover huh? I guess that's really the best way to describe it." She was a bit curious as to what she meant about her home not being safe, butknew some matters shouldn't be pushed.

"Oh, by the way, I'm really like, super sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to upset you or like, hurt your ears or anything. I just like, don't know when to quit things, ya know?" She shuffled against the ground a bit, her arms wrapped under her chest. "I just. Hope I haven't already like, trashed our friendship."

She gave a sort of brief cough as Melanie approached. "I uh. I guess we like, got off on the wrong foot, or something. I can't guarantee I'll like you, but so long as we can both be civil, I'll try not to strangle you." She gave a light smirk at her small joke, knowing that if Mel really pushed her buttons she just might actually strangle her one day.
"I might not light you but for the sake of our dear friend, Sapphire... I am willing to put our pettiness behind us."

Well it was mostly your pettiness...

Mel extends her hand to Hansi as a token of friendship, "Well?"

"So many people..." Mel said nervously
"Ummm... Hey, Sapphire ad Jade can I sleep next to you guys... I don't like crowds...."

Long story I just hate the idea of sleeping with strangers...
"I don't mind, as long as you and Hansi can deal with each other." Sapphire said, originally speaking to Mel and then trailing off to talk with both her and Hansi. She didn't want to be rude or anything, but it seemed that it would be hard for Sapphire to get any sleep if Mel and Hansi were near each other. "Oh, and it's alright, Hansi.. I've got a horrible temper anyway, so I'm sorry for blowing up."

(I TOTALLY THINK THIS SHOULD BE A TEAM. MEL, HANSI, SAPPHIRE, AND JADE. Of course it would be hard to come up with a name, BUT IT WOULD BE AWESOME.) @theManCalledSting

'Great.' The half breed girl grumbled as she followed the river of students to the locker room. 'A bunch of hormonal teenagers having a slumber party. I am not looking forward to this.'

In the locker room, Lilith held Talon in her hand. She had put Fang in the locker, but was hesitating. This gun, the last memento she had of he father, hadn't left her side in four years. And now she was supposed to just leave it here? She shook her head and placed Talon in the locker and closed the door. What was she worried about, she wondered as she made her way to the ballroom. She was in the safest place in the entire kingdom. She didn't need a weapon here. But even as she stepped into the large room full of kids, she couldn't help feeling naked and defenseless...

Oak watched oracle struggle with her sleeping bag."looks like someone is a perfectionist" she said teasingly "need some help there?" she asked scooting closer to oracle.

"I rise early just to let ya'll know... I'd hate to wake you up... I don't mind though." Turning to Saph, she smirks. "I believe the score was 23 to 15 last pillow fight. Want to try and catch up?" She asks smirking, reaching covertly to her pillow. "But I understand if you are too scared..."

T E A L I O S E

In the back, the shadows. Red goggles glowed a boomerang spinning endlessly between his hand the magnets repelling yet pulling. This was going nowhere. But then again. Neither was Tealiose. Deep in some sort of dream.

"Lets go man we have to get out of here" a voice echoed in his head as a flashback continued over and over the weapon spinning faster as his anger grew "We found it man" the voice echoed, the boomerang still spinning Tealiose's hands twitching angrily "It's to bad you can't have this...I will be rich" A flashback of Tealiose leaning over a table loudly screaming grabbing at his eyes. Then next to a bloody boomerang. Flicking the blood off into the dirt glowing cold piercing blue eyes stared down at the body "You can't run....Forever....LOOK WHAT YOU DID" a swift kick and the dream was over Tealiose snapping out of it and stopping the boomerang and hiding it as all the kids stop paying attention to the headmaster. He did not want them knowing his weapon yet. Not till he trusted them. He pulled up his scarf covering scars trailing down from his eyes. That boy years ago, he made a monster.

Tealiose had been paying attention and had noted all the fighting going on but he stayed out of it. What did he care, they did not know him. He did not know them. He wanted to keep it that way. They were a spunky bunch though... But he was not here to impress everyone. He was here to fix the past because for him. He could never let it go. And that was his problem...why can't he just let go....

"Oh please, Jade... I almost always wake up around 3 AM!" Mel said with Pride

Honestly don't know if that's something to be proud of, Mel.

"Besides I have a 'Chevrolet Holmes' Novel to finish... So I might be up for a while."

"Oh no, I think I'm probably going to set up with Oracle for the night, myself!" she said, not wanting to push the limits of her last statement. Sure, she could be civil, but she didn't plan on having a "sleepover" or anything of the sort with the blonde.

She lifted her duffle bag, getting ready to flee before something went wrong in this tense situation. Jade reaching for the pillow was definitely a sign she should get going.

"Well, I'll see you all tomorrow!" She scampered off, leaping gracefully between pallets and sleeping bags until she arrived at the corner where Oracle and Oak were setting up. "Hey! Is there still room over here?"

Irving sighed as he placed Beskyt and Telse into locker number 700. Huh, same as his squat max. Must be lucky. He didn't really change his clothes because the were essentially pajamas anyways, and shut his locker. He sat on the ground in front of his locker and sighed. Being around people just felt... draining. He liked talking to people, but it still left him feeling like he'd been running cross country. Irving tapped into his aura a bit, allowing a cool, calming sensation to flow over him as his body glowed with white light.

"Ehehe... I think I got it. But, thanks. Your name was Oak, right? Cool. Oh, and Hansi, there's room. Come on over!" Oracle prompted, feeling delighted she'd made some friends that she felt comfortable around. She scooted into her own sleeping bag, getting tired. "Oh yea... Oak, both of our names start with O... That's really..." She drifted off, her breathing becoming more even and inevitable sleep overtook her.

"Now now, Jade. We're seventeen, no need for petty pillow fights. Although I will throw one at your face just for fun." Sapphire joked. "Alright, bye Hansi!" She looked over at Jade, "But seriously Jai. I'm beat.. I could fall asleep and just sleep for days."

"I think you did rather good, but the whole new friend thing, was kind of pushing it." Sapphire said to Mel, before laying on her pallet and stretching. Afterwards, she curled into a little ball and yawned, a soft sound coming out of her mouth that only a canine would make. "I.. think I'm gonna hit the hay, guys. Please don't wake me up at three in the morning, I can't survive waking up that early." She mumbled, slowly closing her eyes. Little did anyone know, Sapphire would remain awake for the next few hours, yet her body would be still and motionless, with the simple rise and fall of her chest as she breathed. @theManCalledSting

"Well nice to meet you all! I really need to sleep after this battle, and considering ya'll are civilans, I'd back up. Our battles are deadly." Jai readys her pillow and lunges for the old friend she reunited with. Smacking her across the face, she leaps back, prepared to defend herself.

"Anyways... I'll be reading so please do be quiet..." Mel said as she hid under the covers with a flashlight in hand.

Tomorrow's a new day...

"I can't wait..." Mel muttered to herself with glee.

As Lilith picked her way through the bodies that littered the floor she noticed the three girls from earlier out of the corner of her eye. What were their names again? Mel, Jai, and Sapphire? That sounded right. It was pretty clear that those three would be on a team together, unless Ozpin decided to choose the teams at random. She just hoped she wouldn't be chosen as the fourth member. She wasn't sure she would be able to handle the friendliness and flirting(?)(She was becoming more and more convinced that was what it was). Honestly she would rather not be on a team at all. She worked better alone.

Carefully she attempted to leave without any of them noticing.

(@theManCalledSting @Jade Dragon @RedLikeRoses If you want to include her. If not that's cool too.)

Irvin watched the others go to the auditorium. Part of him knew he should follow, but another part of him felt like being alone for a bit. He sat in the locker room debating this before finally sighing, getting up, and walking into the auditorium. He found a place a bit away from the large groups of people, sat against a wall, and fell asleep.

@Jade Dragon @RedLikeRoses If you want to include her. If not that's cool too.)
Mel peeked out of the covers, and whispered as to not disturb the others, "hey, Lilith, over here."

Please don't hit on her... she's clearly not interested.

"I was wondering if you're okay with us being... friends..."

'Forget Sapphire... I really should go to sleep... If we are on the same team we can have pillow fights whenever.'

"Goodnight Saph, Mel. Lils, I'd like to be friends. You can join us over here if you want. Good luck tomorrow everyone!"

Turning over, and putting on headphones, Jade falls asleep.

(Sorry, got to go. See everyone tomorrow!)

Lazuli

God! This was so boring!

Lazuli was practically dying this entire day. Partially due to the heat she wasn't accustomed to, being from the northern reaches of Atlas. But mostly it was to do with the utter lack of drama this day. An boring airship ride with no entertainment. A boring speech about how much they all sucked ass. And now a boring slumber party. She had tried her best to eavesdrop on conversations to see if there was anything fun to do but she was sadly disappointed. "Hi" "How are you?" "Nice to meet you." "I like you." "You're cute." "My life sucks." "This is my weapon." "We should spar."

What is with these awfully dreadful people? It was like listening to potatoes socialize. Only those spuds had better stories to tell. Of being cooked alive and mashed into a pulp. Lazuli was finding it hard to find anyone interesting to play with. Someone she could annoy to no end. Two boring girls and some jackass who thought he was better than her. She plopped down on her bedroll out of frustration and let out a rather loud groan, as if she was dying of boredom, which may actually happen if she didn't find some fun soon.

Lying there, she found herself looking at one of the many chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. What would happen if she shot it down? She aimed her pointer finger at the light fixture and made a soft bang, pretending to shoot the chain holding it to the ceiling. Another groan and she flopped onto her stomach, looking around for something, anything, that caught her eye.

And that's when she saw him. At first glance, there was nothing special about him. The boy blended in pretty well except he was wearing a scarf. Who the hell wears a scarf to bed? On a night as warm as this? No, no. That scarf was definitely wierd. And weird meant interesting.

Lazuli made her way to the bluish boy swiftly, almost running, and practically shoved her face into his. "Hi!" she said, at a volume much higher than necessary. "What's with the scarf? You cold? Or are the souls of the dead breathing their icy breath into your very soul so you're always cold to the touch?"

Beo dutifully stored her two axes in her locker, carefully placing each one in a case so they wouldn't be damaged or shook, she'd hate to have to sharpen them in the morning. After making sure everything was set for the morning, she changed into her sleeping clothes (Sweatpants and Tshirt) And grabbed her hammock then headed to the now full auditorium. When she got there, everyone was yakking away, already in their little groups. It made her feel a bet nervous until not looking where she was going, she bumped slightly into someone who looked like they would have preferred to not have been seen. "Sorry 'bout that," She said hopefully, even if it was under weird circumstances, she was happy she had an excuse to talk to someone.

"Well, hello there..." Greeted Mel with an oddly gentlemanly manner...

"Are you a friend of Lilith's?"

((I'm not sure if you're in the Ballroom Like the rest of us))

"Who that girl I just smashed into?" Beo said with a grin, "Never met her, just being polite."

Why did this girl strike her as a gentleman? odd. "Why do you ask and what's your name by the way, I really don't know anyone here."

"Oh how dreadful, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Melania Rosenberg." She said in a manner that makes one think of a great detective from crime novels.

"I could not help myself but notice how many faunus are attending Beacon... The more the better I suppose... By the way what is your name?"

Mel smiled to herself, being around Faunus made her feel more at home.
