Fandom RWBY: Adventures in Vale [No Longer Accepting]

Oak rushed off the ship as fast as possible and stood there looking at the huge building that was beacon academy. "WOOOOOOOOOOO, lets get this party started!" She yelled excitedly. She ran forward at top speed narrowly missing every bystander except one. Oak had crashed straight into Oracle! Oak became lightly dazed and slightly confused.

Hansi beamed, looking back between Oracle and Irving.

Now what?

Say something, oh my god.

"Hey um. Are we late for the initiation thing?" She asked them both, realizing they were alone in the courtyard.

Oracle was about to say something, only to be trampled by the Faunus she had seen be 'dibbed' by Mel. She sat there for a moment, dazed at the sudden collision. Yup, that hurt. She shook her head, snapping out of her daze and getting up. She outstretched an arm to the Faunus, smiling. "Good way for introductions, you know. I know this from personal experience, trust me." She joked, her arm still outstretched.

theManCalledSting said:
"Believe it or not... Yeah... Well minus the family hating me..." Mel said somberly.
Mel then told Sapphire her history, why she loved the faunus so much... She was adopted by a family of faunus and was bullied at school for living with 'A Pack of Animals'.

"So I apologize for my previous behavior with you... I just couldn't help myself... you reminded me so much of someone I loved..."
"Wow. Story of my life.. More or less." Sapphire muttered, "Well, that's okay, I would understand if I lost someone I loved. Even though I've never loved anyone." She chuckled lightly, trying to think of a way to veer the conversation away from personal details, honestly hating the concept of backstory's. Her ears perked up when Jade called over to them. Sapphire walked towards her and said, "We should probably go to the Amphitheater first, the principle's doing some speech or whatever. But yeah, I lived in Vacuo my entire life, till I moved to Vale to go to Signal." @Jade Dragon

Hansi couldn't let but let out a small laugh "I'm starting to think you just have bad luck, sweetheart. But, for real, we really ought to hurry to the auditorium...." She rushed the small group of four towards the building, making assurances that they would all take the time to get to know each other after whatever important speeches they had to give.

((Sorry like a million times over if this is borderling godmodding, I just don't want us to be stuck far behind if something happens))

'No way.... It couldn't be...'

"Well, what do you know! My old next door neighbor! I can't believe we ran into each other! How have you been? What was Signal like-"

She pauses, remembering they had another person present.

"My apologizes Mel, I was being rude. Now, do I remember you saying something about being more than friend, if so, I'm sorry if this hurts you but... I'm aromantic. I really have no feelings for anyone. How about we are just friends? And Saph... how about a spar later? It's been a really long time, and I want to see how good you've gotten!"

"Well let's save that when we get our dorms, I can tell your stories a very personal one... best we not ave the discussion here." Mel said oddly formally.

Well looks like you actually did it, Mel... You actually have her stop hating you...

Mel and Sapphire left to where Jade was.

Oak finally realized what she had done and awkwardly grasped oracles outstretched hand. "I'm oak, sorry for running into you!" Oak said getting up off the ground. She quickly made sure everything was still in tact before being rushed to the auditorium.

Eventually the boy in his jacket, and a pair of goggles for whatever reason strapped around his head, managed to get himself to the amphitheater, after some wandering around, just began to stand in the group, just letting out a sigh as he tapped his foot, mildly tempted to take out a earbud and listen to some tunes to pass the time until the speech sounds off.

That and just listening to the others speak, crossing his arms and just waiting a bit, nothing of particular note to talk about right now, aside from stretching a bit around. Eyes occasionally glancing around, and humming to himself a bit.

Irving went to the auditorium with the others. As he waited for the speech to start, he checked his bracers for dirt. The last thing he needed was for Beskyt and Telse to be in poor condition. Then he set his backpack on the ground and waited. As he waited, he wondered what team he'd be placed in. He'd heard about how Beacon had a few quirks about team placement, but Irving felt confident he'd end up in a team that he could work well with.

Once they were in the auditorium, Hansi took a moment to gather her small group, and finally introduce herself to Oak. "We didn't get a chance to really talk earlier. I'm Hansi, I kind of spoke to you about the view from the airbus while you and Mel were talking about clouds?" Oh god, why was she bringing that up again? She mentally slapped herself. "And well, you already bumped into Oracle, quite literally, and well, we all just met Irving so uh... yeah.."

She trailed off, waiting for someone else to say something. Has it been mentioned yet that people are not Hansi's strong suit?

Lilith stretched her stiff limbs and tried to suppressed a yawn as she followed the crowd of students off the airship. She was a little suprised that she had managed to get any sleep at all, considering how uncomfortable she was with public transportation. It just went to show how badly those all-nighters at work were screwing up her sleep schedule. At least she wouldn't have to worry about that anymore.

Adjusting the hat that kept her ears hidden, Lilith looked around, her mismatched eyes taking in the scenery with an almost bored expression. 'I'm finally here,' she thought, her hand drifting gently to the gun holstered to her side, 'Mom, Dad, I hope you're watching...'

In the amphitheater, Lilith found a spot on the back wall to lean against, not wanting to be stuck in the middle of a large group of people...

Mel and Sapphire left to where Jade was.
'Wonderful.. I can't wait to gush out my heart and soul and tell strangers my life's story..' Sapphire thought to herself sarcastically at Mel's response. She looked at Jade for a second before recognizing her. Her ear's perked up immediately, and an almost innocent and child-like face washed over her, "That was you!? Man, I haven't seen you forever! I'll tell you all about Signal tonight, that should be fun.." Sapphire trailed off the same time Jade did, both realizing that it was rude to talk as if Mel wasn't there. After Jade apologized, so did Sapphire, "Sorry, Mel. I got a little excited to see an old friend of mine." She nodded at Jade's question about sparring, as she was always up for that. At that point, the three made it inside the Amphitheater.

What the hell does aromanic? is that even a word??

"It's good that you have your friend, Jade..."

Mel sees a red headed Faunus... "Hey! You! The Girl in the Red come over here!" Mel tried to catch her attention.

"Mel, why don't all of us spar. I want to know how skilled you are. Tomorrow, our partners are the people we first make eye contact with. Unless we howl, don't look them in the eye. Or if you can't help it, make sure they are nice. Oh, wherever the stuff that we pick to decide our teams, we can meet up and wait for each other. By the way Saph, you have a bit of pepper stuck to your tooth. The principal is about to talk, we better finish this conversation in the dorm."

Irving was kind of spacing out as he inspected his bracers. He pressed a button on each of them and they expanded into a sort of oval shape that went along the length of the forearm. On each, extending about a foot past where the hand was, a sharpened blade sprung out, built for slashing and stabbing. Built into the grip of each shield was a small automatic pistol loaded with 9mm rounds. It took some searching to find a smith that would make it, but through trial, error, and lots of asking around, he'd found one. And it hadn't been cheap, so the last thing he needed as for them to get broken.

Lilith ears twitched a bit under her hat. Girl in the Red? 'Oh please tell me she's not..." Lilith glanced around and found the sorce of the voice. Sure enough the girl was looking straight at her. 'Great...'

With a sigh she pushed off the wall and walked over, answering the girl's summons. "Yes?" She asked, her tone flat.

"Those are cool looking weapons." Hansi said, obviously grasping for something to talk about. "How do you use them? Like, are they like... punching gloves or knives or both or whatever?"

Oh gosh, what a dumb question, you can't really explain how a weapon works.

Oracle nodded at Oak, then followed her to the amphitheater. "Yup, I'm Oracle. Madame Misfortune, it seems." She laughed, the looked at her weapon. "Whoa. Thats a pretty big... Weapon..." She stated, clearly impressed and surprised she hadn't spotted it before.

"I am Melania Rosenburg from the Kingdom of Atlas," Mel said with a very suave manner...

"And I could not help notice you were alone... Might I ask who you might be? It's best to know who your friends or enemies are before initiation."

Okay you're doing good a bit... just cut out the Casanova bit okay?

"What are the odds of three wolf faunus in one place? I'm Jade Spade, call me Jai. This is crazy girl is called .Mel, and this is Sapphire who I call Saph. And you are?" Jai asks, gesturing to each of the two with her.

"I love the color of your clothes, red is redemption... At least to me. What weapon do you use?" Jai asks excitedly, apperaing almost like a puppy. Her head was cocked, and a random student happened to notice, saying "Awww! She's so cute!"

"Jade... I don't think she's a wolf Faunus..." Sapphire muttered to Jade quietly, her head hanging downwards. 'Aw come on, Jade! You're giving off that puppy look! No one takes us seriously with the puppy look!' Sapphire exclaimed in her head and mentally facepalmed at the way her old friend was acting, as it got several 'awws' from the people around them.

"Opps, sorry, I smelled Wolf Faunus somewhere, not sure where... Whats wrong Saph? Your giving me that deadpan look you use to when I would give me as kids when I made... The puppy dog look... Sorry Saph..."

Jai looked positively crushed when she realized this.

"Please forgive me Girl in Red!"
