Herb took her arm and began to run towards the cliff "Beacon here we come!" he said with a chuckle "Yee fucking ha!" he said jauntily skipping along, Envy in one hand.

Lazuli continued forward even as Mel called out to her. "I don't stop for losers!" she shouted, fully intending to ride the wind all the way back to the cliff. However, before she could get too far, she felt herself getting pulled back, or rather the boomerang she held was getting pulled back and she was just going along with it. Getting forced in the opposite direction so suddenly, she was forced off her stone slab and sent tumbling back until she was with the others. She released the boomerang in order to focus on stopping, able to cease her tumbling on her toes in a crouched position.


"That's just cheating," she said, narrowing her eyes at Teal. Great. Her new toy was taken back and she was out of earth dust so she couldn't make another board to ride on. She was now reduced to walking.

Seeing the majority of his peers escape WarZii decided to follow suit. Using his sword as a make shift cane He limped his way out. With the Kaiju Kong. He felt relieved that they were safe but at the same time disappointed in himself for not being able to protect them without fail. He Walked through the forest trying to avoid Grimm. The others had moved too fast for him to catch up with. He would have to make his way back to Beacon on hisown.

WarZii looked at Mel and smiled. His dirtied and bruised face, lifeless left arm and damaged leg made him look quite pathetic, yet he smiled through the pain. "It's fine Mel. I'll gladly fend off the enemy or serve myself as a distraction so lives can be spared."

"Don't kid yourself! You look like that Grimm just chewed you up and spit you out!" Mel said with worry for her friend.


"And I don't want any of my friends dying just because of my Stupid mistakes..."

To him a hero of Justice should not be in this predicament, but he understood the situation. He needed to become stronger. "Th-thank you..." He forced himself to thank Beo for her assistance. He looked into the distance than down at the ground, "so... how far away from the school are we?"

Argen merely watches the new combatants face off against a rather large threat. The sentinel feels somewhat guilty for not assisting in the battle. Not because he wished to help them but because he owed Hansi a debt. She had helped him after all, it only makes sense. The knight waves away the thought and turns to grab one of the supposed relics. He grabs it from its place and observes it over the sounds of battle nearby. Curious object. He thinks. Argen palms the relic and walks out of the room before any further environmental damage happens to the area. He completed his mission and it wasn't specifically stated that he NEEDED a partner. Technicalities were always a good thing to exploit. The knight sneaks past several Grimm, following his nose and sense of sound. Smelling for clean air and the sounds of birds. Sneaking past the Grimm did not prove difficult, especially in the darkness of the caves. His assassin training always came in handy. After some time, Argen navigates his way out of the caverns and back into the forest. He decides to walk towards a higher vantage to point to see when and if the recruits come out of the castle. That way he can follow them if there is another goal to be had.

The participants were now assembled in the amphitheater, the Emerald Forest having been conquered and the initiation finally reaching its conclusion as Ozpin called up various groups of four and proclaimed teams and Leaders.


After doing this for some time, Ozpin fixed his glasses as he called up the next group.


"Citrine DeGrain, Russette Bistre, Amber Khorn, and Maroon Bistre"


"You four collected the white double-nine pieces, from this day forward you will work together as Team CRKM. Led by Citrine DeGrain"


"Hansi Kharaba, Lazuli Ashtrum, Herb Orion Wilkshire and Tealiose Djion"


"You four collected the Red Double Fifteen Pieces, from this day forward you will work together as Team HAWT. Led by Hansi Kharaba."


"Beo Lugantis violetova, Lilith Falciani, Warscewiczii Canna, and Melania Rosenberg"


"You Four collected the Crimson Double-Six Pieces from this day forward you will work together as Team BLWM. Led by Beo Lugantis."


"Hazel Hearst Helmsley, Aqua-Marie Hickenbottom, Rosa Ramon and Tawny Nash."


"You Four collected the Tri-Ominoe Pieces, from this day forward you will work together as Team HART. Led By Hazel Hearst Helmsley."


"Saffron Afolayan, Sova Krov Miguel Dunkelheit and Argen Mesa."


"You Four collected the Pink Double-Seven Pieces from this day forward you will work together as Team SSDA. Led by Saffron Afolayan."


And with that, the teams were formed and sent off to their assigned rooms. Each team had their own room, which they'd have to share with one another, and uniforms were already prepared for classes which would start tomorrow. And so Beacon wound down in preparation for the days to come, teams getting used to one another as the sun wound down.


Elsewhere in Vale...


A pair of headphones bobbed to the beat as their owner leaned up against an old warehouse, a banging rave was recently held there and the place was still littered with trash and semi-conscious party goers. Besides the half drunk headphones guy, there several passed out individuals as well as the DJ wo packed up his equipment as footsteps neared.


The Dj also wore headphones and had a dopy smile on, eyes hidden behind a thick pair of party goggles. The DJ heard the sound of approaching footsteps, and looked up as a suited man happily waltzed out of a shady corner.


The DJ frowned, noticing the distinctive mask the man wore.


"Looks like a simply splendid party," the man drawled on with a heavy accent "Makes feel sweet buttery things at the thought of all the glorious encounters had here."


"Eh, look man. The boss has been meaning for us to ask you next time you came around," the DJ said "that stuff you been giving us? He's kind of concerned about the- um... long term affects and what not."


"Oh? Did it not fulfill its purpose?"


"No no no, see we've been feeling the Rhythm great with it." The DJ quickl defended "Its just that the guys have been getting a little more detached since taking the stuff, see?"


"Simple side affects like that may be the result of first time exposure, not everyone can handle what goes into them as well as I can."


The DJ blinked as the suit's words settled in, tyhen nodded slowly "Yeah, I guess you may be right. We'll keep an eye on them though."


"You do that lady-killer," the suit said jokingly tapping a gloved finger to his white mask "and do be sure to call me if you need help with any investigations."


And with that the masked suit backwalked into the shadows making a low from ithin his mask.


The DJ waited several moments before turning to the Headphones guy, "Boss, what do you think?"


The Headphones guy stood straight at the DJ's question, the blaring music from his headphones seeming to not exist as he reacted to the words almost instantly. At full height the lanky looking music fan dwarfed the DJ.


And he just stared out of the Warehouse into the night with a blank expression, humming thoughtfully as he continued bobbing his head.

The sun rose slowly, many students at Beacon slept while others were already awake. But they all knew that today would begin their classes on becoming true Huntsmen and Huntresses.

Mel with her team in their dorm.


"You got to be kidding me! Hazel's here too! Her and her Cliq!" Mel ranted on and on.


"I thought she's just 'scouting' as usual..." Mel said. "Beo, you saw the looks she was giving you... Those flirty looks, don't they bother you?! Especially the blue one, she always looks like she's undressing people with those eyes..."

Hansi rolled over in her bed, headphones falling out of her ear. She had stayed up late the night before running choreography, and she was super tired.


"Nobody talked to me until I've had, like, literally an entire pot of coffee." She groaned, her hands rubbing her temples.


Maybe she shouldn't have been up so late the day before classes. But she'd been to nervous to sleep, and when Hansi got nervous, she danced until she was too tired to worry anymore.


Which in this case, also meant she was too tired to function this morning. "Can I just, like, call in sick for the first day? Would they kick me out or something if I did that? What do you think, Chhote Don?" She asked Lazuli, her new roommate.


She still wasn't sure how the girl felt about being teamed with her and Herb, but Hansi didn't mind her much. She kind of like the twisted sense of humor the girl employed, and her positive attitude, while it bordered on sadistic, was effervescent, and it made Hansi feel a bit better.

Ah, the fresh morning dew.


With the orange and golden skies slowly turning into blue.


Standing in one of the dorms, a boy watched this view.


Adorned in the outfits of the school, brown and gold, with black colored shoes.


Letting out a sigh, before turning round looking through.


"Morning, morning, as it is, the fresh smells of a new day, and the potential for things to happen." He mumbled to himself, looking at the room he was placed in, four other boys he was set with, a interesting set of fellows. But its time to learn a bit more about them. Sova for now, began to wander over to his bed, pulling out a notepad, and a pencil, and began to start scratching in lines of words, a poem if you will, just dotting down whats on his mind while the others finished with their morning routine business, or would eventually rise from their slumber.


(I'm assuming that the leftovers were already shlumped together into a team, correct me if I am wrong.)

She hit the floor softly and crept over to WarZii's bed and shook the sleeping boy with an iron grip. "Warzii!" She whispered in his ear, "Get up, it's training time!"

Lazuli

Lazuli had long woken up and was currently jumping on her bed, one against a wall, already in uniform though it didn't quite look like she was ready. Her jacket, easily a size too big, was unbuttoned, her shirt was untucked, she had put on the tie to the boy's uniform and not the girls, and she was only wearing one stocking. Still, she didn't seem like she was making any attempts to change anything, just continued jumping on the bed with a fair sized rock in her hands, a crude smiley face drawn on the surface.


When it seemed like Hansi has woken up, she jumped a final time, doing a small flip before allowing herself to plop onto the mattress, back to the wall and rock landing right next to her. "Well, how am I supposed to answer if we can't talk to you?" She glanced over to her rock, picking him up and positioning herself ready to throw him at Hansi. "I guess Dwayne could help you wake up if you need him to. He's very good at that. He's good at putting people to sleep as well."

"Who the heck is Dwayne- oh mi god, is there a stranger in the room, holy fucking- I'm not decent!"


It was true, Hansi was only wearing the short purple nightgown she slept in, and while she didn't much mind Herb and Teal seeing her (she'd already stuck her two teammates waaaaay into the friendzone) she really didn't want anyone else to see her. she pulled her red comforter over herself, looking around to make sure she was safe from preying eyes. When at least she was sure there where no strangers in the room, she relaxed a bit.


"Ugh, way to scare me awake..." She sat up, rubbing her eyes. "G'morning. When's the first class? Do I still have time for breakfast, or at least one cup of coffee?"
