Irving was (apparently) the first one to find the chasm. Of course, "find" wasn't very accurate so much as "blindly fell into". It was that stupid giant scorpion's fault anyways. He bounced on a few rocks before finally hitting the bottom, his aura shining as his injuries closed.


"I'm getting a little sick of falling off of things."


Irving picked himself up and brushed his clothes off. Again.


"Well, at least I found the chasm. I wonder what will happen to me if I come back without a partner."


Shrugging, Irving began to explore the chasm.

"Sounds good. I think I saw a chasm, like ozpin mentioned, that way"' Beo gestured, "Lets take the trees and try to stay quiet, Mel's got that massive hammer so, Lilith what are you armed with?" She looked over to the girl, seeing two knives, but this being beacon they may well be great swords for all she knew.

"Then we shall march on into the Unknown!" Declared Mel.


Mel, Beo and Lilith marched to the Chasm.


Mel paused and turned to Beo. "Are you sure he'd keep them there or was he trying to warn us to stay away from it?"

After knocking Irving into the chasm, the Death Stalker wandered away, looking for other prey to hunt. Eventually, it found some likely targets in the form of Mel, Beo, and Lilith.

Teal looked to the area below catching multiple signatures, he recognized a group of them the loud voice and hammer told him it was the weird flirty Mei, he then turned to his right seeing multiple beowolves chilling in the distance, the were practically blue in heat signature. They had no heat, or hearts in the matter. Teal quickly pulled out some of his gadgets and quickly twisted one almost a mile of minute building something. Once he was finished he heard the cracking of branches behind him, he looked back but saw nothing. Well he saw signatures, one of a pretty massive beowolf. More then likely an alpha. He went to turn back and was jumped on by the annoying girl from last night. He fell from the tree landing on his back. He looked back seeing her run to the forest his goggles marking her a bright red "Target...." Teal growled only to hear something behind him, he turned and saw a beowolf.

His goggles marked the beowolf targeting its arms and head "Before it swings take the arms then pull back to blow its mind...chance of survival...high." his boomerangs came out from his pockets and rotated next to his hands getting quite the speed. The beowolf began to charge claws extended. Tealiose flung the boomerangs two thin lines flinging out flames heating the thin line and the weapon itself from the dust infused within it. The two weapons sliced through the wolves arms and before it could react Teal flicked his hands back and both came right back taking its head with them. Teal caught the weapons and put them away before the beast could even fall. As it fell Teal grumbled turning looking for that annoying girl.

"Good." She said calmly, a new composure coming over her. As she saw the twitch of a black figment, she ran at it, her Berd in her hand as she slammed it down on the creature's head. It screeched, its massive body flailing about as the Berd got stuck on its armor. It turned out to be a Scorpion thing, which didn't make her too happy. Its tail end slashed about in fury, aiming for her but not wishing to get caught by its own poison. She remained there, an opening available to Oak as she distracted it, even using her grapple hook feature to hook the armor plating, then shoot out the other side to a tree, fixing the creature in place. She looked at Oak, then nodded. "NOW!"

"All right team! Let's stand our ground!"


Think Mel... Think!


Mel threw Jotunham at the Deathstalker.


Jotunham produced an electric pulse that stunned the Grimm.


Jotunham suddenly flew back at Mel.


Mel grabs her Weapon before it could fly pass her... "Wow, I forgot it can do that..."

"Jotunham's electric shock can only keep it stunned for so long..."


Just when I thought this day was going to be great...


"I appreciate that you do something that would keep us from dying!"

Oak started firing at the death stalker she fired several rounds of ammo before it wrenched itself free. "OK NEW PLAN!" oak jump sprinted forward and led it away from oracle whilst she retrieved her weapon. oak suddenly jumped and landed on a high branch. "ORACLE, DISTRACT IT!" oak jumped from branch to branch getting in position.

Oracle nodded, swiftly making her visible to the creature. She glowed a soft, faint orange, then made the creature buckle, at least tripling its weight. As it remained in place, stuck, Oracle's hand started to shake. "Hurry! I can't keep this up for much longer..!" She shouted, keeping the creatures weight high.

Mel dodged the Deathstalker's strikes.

Lazuli sat in a tree within eyesight of Teal, having watched his fight with the beowolf. One leg propped up on the branch in a relaxed manner as if she was leisurely spectating some sport. As the grimm went down, she gave a whistle. "Slick moves there, Suzy. Fancy toys, too. I bet you make all the pretty boys swoon back home, huh?"


A big bright smile plastered on her face, she grabbed onto the branch beneath her and swung off, landing square on her feet a few feet away from the blue-green boy. "So, you know the way to the chasm? It's a bit hard to keep track of your movements when you're running with reckless abandon, right?" Judging by how she was acting, you'd think she didn't just throw someone into a grimm's way. Either that or she didn't care.


She turned her head as the faint shrieks of deathstalkers could be heard in the distance. Hearing them prompted a soft laugh out of her. "Looks like some of our classmates have found some fun. Aw, I'm a bit jealous. Come on, Suzy," she said, already skipping deeper into the forest. "If we don't hurry, we'll miss out on the party. And these are bound to be some crazy parties."

Oak jumped and landed on the death stalker chopping off its poisonous tail before continuing just in case. she proceeded to stab it in the head. It screeches then collapses.Oak rubbed her ears, that screech was the loudest thing she had ever had to bear. "PHWEW, what a fight!" Oak exclaimed "lets find those artifacts!" Oak said continuing to jump into the trees to search for the place the artifacts are located.

Oracle followed her, using her grapple hook to swing from trees. Before she knew it, she came upon a chasm filled with people and a DeathStalker. Unfortunately, she swung right over it, heading straight for another tree. "OH NO NO NOOO WAIIIIII-" THUNK. She fell towards the ground, very close to being knocked unconscious. She was still unable to gather her wits, and watched as the ground came hurtling closer and closer.

Mel leaped back to avoid the Deathstalker's attack.

The Deathstalker howled in frustration and pressed the attack, stabbing with it's tail and snapping with it's claws.


Irving stood at the bottom of the chasm, just below where the shrieks were coming from.


"Okay... this is going to take a while..."


Irving began to climb the sheer cliff wall.

"Well if you're not too busy." Beo said sarcastically, " She spun her axes into her hands and charged, , leaping through the deathstakers clawas and tail strikes. Grinning she jumped on top of the Gimm and kept sprinting until she reached the tail. With two quick chops, she impaled her axes in the weak spot between tail and stinger, then she acrobaticly switched her grip on the axes in midair and used them as a bar to flip over the tail. "Lilith! Mel! I'm immobilizing the stinger, Flank it and go for the kill!", Now on top of the tail she grinned as she felt the thin wires in her hands. This would be fun. She Crouched and sprang from the tail and felt the wires tense in her hand. Attached to her climbing gloves and her axes, the wires were her greatest Grimm hunting tool. Now twisted around the stinger of the death stalker when she hit the grund, she pulledthe stinger with he. As she strained against the weight she shouted, "Preferably soon!"

Isn't she just perfect... no... scratch that! She's Better than Perfect!


"ROGER THAT!" Mel said as she charged at the Deathstalker and slammed Jotunham right on top of the creature's head.


"Jotunham!" Jotunham released a blast of Electricity that shocked the creature.

Wondering through the forest WarZii found himself in the middle of a pack of Beowulves. His lips curled up into an ecstatic grin. He lifted his blade up and pointed it at the Grimm, "Sorry guys. I'd love to tame each and everyone of you, but I don't have my catching tools." A beowulf charged at WarZii bearing down with its claws. He quickly raised his shield to block the beowulf's claws. Another rammed into WarZii's back knocking him down on his face. "This Isn't good." WarZii rolled out to his right then jumped to his feet. He winced when he tried to lift his shield and realized his shoulder was dislocated. "Hrmm, this isn't gonna go my way." He began to sprint through the forest, sheathing his sword in his shield taking his shield into his right hand.


WarZii found himself at a slight clearing just before a chasm. He skid to a stop dropping low bringing his shield up in clash against a beowulf. With the beowulf's momentum he used his shield as a springboard to flip the beowulf over him and down into the chasm. A second beowulf came at WarZii barring its teeth. WarZii pushed off with his right leg to propel himself to the left avoiding the beowulf's assault. Within the same second he pivoted around on the toes of his left foot bringing the heel of his right deep into the back of the second beowulf. He tossed his shield to grab the handle of his sword. With a flick of his arm the shield spun up the sword, locking in place for its axe mode. WarZii charged the third, and final, beowulf. He smashed his left shoulder into the beast's chest. The beowulf reeled back and WarZii let out a shrill scream as shoulder was popped back into place. Grabbing his large axe with both hands he swung at the beowulf cutting it clean in half horizontally. "Phew, looks like I out ran most of them. That was a hassle."


A loud shriek caught WarZii's attention. Looking down the way he saw the Mel and two other girls battling a giant scorpion like creature. "HEY MEL," He smiled and waved at the girl he met on the airship on the way to beacon. "Looking good." he sprinted forward to lend a helping hand.

"Please, if you're planning on teaming with us..."


"Wear a shirt. And also..." Mel dramatically paused... "Send that Bugger down to the very pits of HELL!"

Well, Beo had wanted to know about her weapons and the universe had answered. Lilith rushed forward and leapt over Beo and Mel's heads, Fang and Talon in her hand. Landing on the pinned tail, she stabbed Fang into the soft flesh on the back of the monster's tail and aimed Talon down at its head. Each of the twelve shot fired fired from 50 caliber magnum hand cannon left cracks all along the armor plating, but not a single bullet penetrated. "Damn it!" She cursed, vanishing in a flash of blue light and reappearing next to the girls. "How-?"


Just then the new comer called out. Lilith whipped around to look at him and noticed the large ax he was carrying. "You!" She shouted, point first at his weapon and then at the crack bone plates.


"Kill it!"

Nyx was never really the social butterfly, so it's not surprising that she barely made contact with anyone since she got on the airship. It was kind of biting her back, though, since in the forest, she didn't have any friends for the long-range support she sorely needed. Her landing strategy was also just "hope not to die," since she couldn't do much with a couple of daggers. Not to say she hadn't been holding her own in the woods. She was, very well in fact. However, she was getting weaker by the minute, as fighting extremely close-range for all this time without help was starting to tire her out, as well as bore her with the repetition.

WarZii had his weapon raised above his head ready to strike the Deathstalker. He charged the death stalker head on smashing his axe on top of the mighty creature. The blade of the axe caught between one of the many cracks in the creatures chitin. The weight of the axe split open the large scorpion's armor revealing its vulnerable insides. He unlatched his sword from his shield and began to stab at the creatures back repeatedly. "FOR MANKIND!" He shouted as if he were in a frenzy. The Darkstalker let out a shriek before its body went limp. WarZii continued to stab at the creature.
