Running Blood (Maureenlove and Ayezombie)

Rose practically melted in her mates touch, all her worries flying out of her mind, she wanted to spend what could be her last day with her mate. "So love what do you want to do today?" She asked Alaska she was honestly ready to do anything her mate wanted weather it was jump off a building or stay home and watch TV all day. She no longer cared what they did as long as it was just her and her mate together.
 
Alaska grabbed her hands and shrugged. She honestly didn't know, nor did she care. She knew that after today everything would be dangerous, and rarely would they be able to spend time together without having a gun on them.


"Be with you, and not leave your side. We can stay in and watch a few movies if you want. Then tonight...."


Alaska trailed off, looking up at her mate, hoping she got the point. Alaska was well aware if the impending future, and didn't want to die leaving her mate without a mark. In fact, she would refuse to.
 
Rose smiled "I love the way you think sweety." She said grinning then started pulling the other girl behind her as she lead her to their bed room were the large flat screen tv that had netflix was. When then got to their bedroom Rose smiled and jumped onto the bed laughing and grabbed the tv remote and turned Netflix on "so what movie shall we watch first my love?" She asks
 
Jumping into bed beside her, snuggling into Rose's side.


"I'm up for anything. Horror, documentary, what ever you want babe."


Alaska giggled lightly at the thought of her mate chastising the TV for being completely incorrect on Vampires, or being fascinated by the special effects put on by some. There was no doubt that she'd find herself staring at Rose, just thinking about how perfect she was, just like she was doing now.
 
Rose smiled and finally picked the movie 'Brothers Grim' a movie she enjoyed watching and never got tired of watching it. She snuggled up into her mate smiling as they began to watch the movie. "I love this movie." She whispered to Alaska as the movie began to pick up.
 
She wrapped an arm around Rose, happy to be there."I don't think I've ever seen it. But it looks awesome." She said, feeling warm from her mate's touch.


About half way through the movie, Alaska was completely invested in it. She definitely understood why Rose loved it so much.
 
Rose smiled watching her mate as they watched the movie, she smiled seeing how invested Alaska had got into the movie. "So when this movie ends what shall we watch?" She asked quietly to her mate, Rose loved movies, she couldn't get enough out of them, she watched many movies and TV shows , she loved many TV show series like Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, and some crime shows. She also loved the horror and vampire movies even though most of them had some info wrong she didn't mind.
 
"How about The Awakening?" She said, interlocking their fingers. It was amazing just being able to spend time with Rose.


Alaska looked up with big grey eyes and kissed her mate's cheek, returning her view back to the TV. Alaska had an infatuation for horror movies, mostly psychological ones that screwed with you're head and make you look at everything differently.
 
Rose smiled at the other girl and kissed her cheek back "Sure, this movie is almost over." she said then watched the rest of the movie with her hand in her mates. When the movie ended she went to find the one her mate had wanted to watch, she had never watched it before and was surprised by it.
 
By the end of the movie, Alaska laughed to herself.


"Total mind f*ck. Right?" She said, rubbing her thumb gently along Rose's hand.
 
Rose giggled "I liked it, it was very good and very mind blowing." She laughed turning on her side to look at her mate. "So now what love?" She asked, they had spent nearly five hours watching movies together in bed. She liked it, this was probably the only time they would ever have alone like this.
 
Alaska shrugged, tracing shapes along Rose's collar bone.


"Well... there was what we talked about earlier." She said, nuzzling into her side.
 
Rose smiled at her mate "Are you sure? Are you sure your ready?" She asked her eyebrow raised as she looked at her mate. She knew Alaska wanted to be marked and mark her but she was worried, many vampires and werewolves alike said marking your mate was like signing you own death warrant.
 
Alaska looked up at her, full of determination.


"I know that after tomorrow every day will possibly be our last. And I'm sure as hell not dying without marking you, and having your mark on me. Unless you can promise me we'll have another night together, yes, I'm sure." She said, sitting up a little bit.
 
Rose smiled at the girl "Well its your call my little mate." She said giggling as she watched her mate, knowing full well that she was going to get her way. After tonight there was no way of knowing what could happen. "They say after your marked you feel so much better with your mate. But most people also say that the pleasure you get from the marking night itself is so good and any other night like it is more amazing then becoming a vampire." She said smiling.
 
"Then I see no reason against it other than the fact that it's like putting a bounty on my head. But then again, I just find that quite exhilarating." She said, chuckling to herself.
 
Rose smiled at the girl, "So your positive you want to do this, which is a good thing." She said smiling "Now, where do you want this beautiful event to take place so I know where to get the things set up." She said winking trying to remember where she put all the large white candles.
 
"That would be up to you love, suprise me." She said, stand up and stretching. Alaska knew that Rose was going to make a huge deal of. She didn't have too, but she understood why Rose was.
 
"Here works I guess." She smiled the got off the bed and began to fold the blankets and set them at the end of the bed, then kissed her mate "Be right back, we need four candles, that's part of it." She said with a shrug "I never understood why." The took off towards the hallway in search of the candles and matched.
 
Alaska smiled, watching her mate leave.


"How did I get so lucky..." She mumbled to herself, sliding off her old shirt in replace of a blue lacey bra and her black shorts.
 
Rose walked back into her and Alaska's room holding four large white candles and a lighter, she quickly set the candles up on the dresser and light them then took one and set it on the bedside table with a smile as she looked at her beautiful mate "You look lovely my dear." She said smiling.
 
Alaska eyed rose up and down smiling.


"Thank you love." She said before sitting down on the edge of the bed.
 
And "Your welcome." Rose said walking over to her mate and sat in her lap softly "so your sure right?" She asked looking her mate in the eyes trying to read her
 
Alaska hung her arm around Rose's waist, staring right back up at her.


"Only if you are. I'm not going to force you into something you don't want."
 
"No baby I want to do this, I've wanted to do this the second I found out you were my mate." She said smiling as she looked down and her own chest biting her lip.
