RP: Circus Life

"Ah, I see.." Jackson murmured, looking down at her. He reached up to gently stroke her cheek for a moment. Then he stopped and stepped back a little. "I should go check on the lions.." He muttered and turned to go do so.
 
((We should probably just go to one of the character's home towns now))


"Hey guys," Cynth says, walking over to the siblings. "Are you two all packed up?"
 
~Luna and Juno~


Luna nodded smiling happily. "Yep! Juno did most of the packing last night," she said giggling. "Isn't my brother the greatest?" Juno smiled watching his sister and looked over at Cynth.


"Is there anything we can help with? It looks like everything is almost put up.." He said.


(Yeah that's probably best.. Who's hometown though?)
 
Once Nyx stepped inside her trailer she walked towards her desk and opened a drawer. She rubbed the bridge of her nose as she felt a small twinge of pain in her skull. Nyx rummaged through the drawer and pulled out a worn photoghaph of her parents. Her eyes were still guarded and impassive as the photograph has endured damage from the elements as the details of her parents have faded making it hard to trust her memory of them.
 
((Anyone is a good candidate really. If we went with Juno and Luna it gets kind of interesting bcuz they are so young and their parents will want them back, Sou's will be interesting considering his mom abandoned him and then there's the whole idea of him feeling emotional pain and being hurt and confused because its so much worse than physical pain, Trina's could be especially interesting since she's running away from her family and there's also all the stuff she had with Jackson- oh sorry you don't know, we've been going over it in pm oops forgot to mention..- Cynth and Nyx could work out well for it too though...Hmmm anyone want to volunteer?))
 
(Alright y'all I'm back! Should we say that Jayden has already been accepted into the circus or should he still have to audition? I'm glad to be back, this rp needs to get moving again :)

As Jackson walked to go check on his pets, he saw Jayden and smiled a bit walking over to him. "Hello, did you sleep well last night?" He asked.
 
It was the day after Jaydens acceptance into Cirque du Freak and he was rather exhausted from yesterdays adventures and he couldn't quite sleep either in his new environment. After battling with himself, he got out of bed, dressed into a little pink tee shirt and short shorts. He didn't even bother with shoes and with that, he left his new trailer. It was a cute little place that he would have fun making his own.


Outside, he took a walk around the new circus grounds, enjoying the morning air. He ran his fingers through his long blonde hair, attempting to tame it. He just smiled to himself, happy to be out from underneath his parents, ready to start his life as the "Lovely, androgynous contortionist." He eventually came across the ring leader he had auditioned for. They weren't really acquainted and Jayden would use this time to get to know him. "Oh, hey! I didn't sleep the best but I got enough so were good." He smiled at him. It would be a while before he got used to all of this.
 
"Ah, okay then. I know you just got here, but we'll be leaving soon so I hope you've packed what you need." Jackson said letting his soft smile fade from his face and his expression become expressionless again (well..that really wasn't the best way to describe it but oh well..)


Gently placing a hand on Jayden's shoulder he said, "If your ready, then feel free to use this time however you want."
 
Nyx silently pocketed the photograph into her black sweats before leaving her trailer. She wandered around the circus before stopping in front of Jackson's cats specifically looking at the tiger. Nyx always thought that she was like a tiger as well, cold, calucated. It was also shown in her costume with the black stripes lining her skirt.
 
Jayden glanced down at the hand on his shoulder and back to Jackson with raised eyebrows. He couldn't even remember this guys name really but he was definitely friendly. "Your Jackson, right? I'm Jayden in case you forgot or something." He let out a small giggle. "Actually I haven't even unpacked from last night." He brushed a strand of hair out of his face, a smile on his face. He had lots of questions. "So where are we going next?"
 
"Yes, and I remember your name." Jackson said. "We're only traveling a small ways so it won't be a long trip. I plan on stopping in Seattle for our next performance."


(Okay, totally made that up on the spot..May change it but eh.)
 
"Oh, I see," he said intrigued. Jayden began walking hoping they could take a walk while discussing things and getting to know each other. "So how did you become a ring leader? How long have you been a ring leader? When did this circus start? Whats my spot in the line up?" He felt he was asking to much and slowed down, waiting for his responses.
 
Jackson laughed at all the questions suddenly imposed on him. "Well..I started the circus six years ago and that's when I became a ring master..As far as line up, it changes every night." He answered as they walked.
 
Nyx merely watched the big cats lounge around in their cages. She hummed to herself before siting against a nearby crate until it was time to leave. Nyx saw one of the lions stalk around its cage before settling down again. Her brown eyes trailed towards the tiger that was looking at her with its green eyes.
 
Trina's eyes would seem to glaze over at his touch and she'd shake her head quickly to zone back into the world. "Yea.. they kitties get lonely when there isn't a show" She'd nod and twirl in a circle. It was as if she was still a child at heart. Always dancing, always singing, always smiling. As Jayden had joined them she'd jump into the air and shout out "OH good morning!" The teen would stop suddenly to place her index finger on her chin and gasp "OH! I need to go check on my make up again" with a quick wave she'd turn and take off in a sprint towards her car. After six steps she'd push off the ground and leap into a front hand spring, stick her landing, and then be off.
 
~Sou~


Sou tossed the apple core on the ground and got up, stumbling a little but then catching his balance. He walked around boredly, wondering when they'd leave since it seemed everyone was now ready to go.
 
Nyx sat there content. However, she caught someone moving in the corner of her eye. She turned her head to see that it was Sou idly walking around. Nyx merely stared at Sou with her impassive brown eyes before tilting her head up in greeting.
 
Seeing Nyx, Sou nodded back. He walked over to her. "Have you seen Jackson anywhere?" He mumbled softly, the words barely audible. He figured he would look for Jackson and ask if they would be leaving soon, though perhaps Nyx knew when they'd believing.
 
Nyx blinked once as her ears keened to Sou's question. It pays to be queit sometimes as your other senses become more keen. She raised her arm and gestured to her left. "Last I saw him, he was talking to Trina by the carriages." responded Nyx quick and impassive. She noted that Sou was similar to her in terms in speaking however he was warmer in attitude than her.
 
Nyx tilted her head up in welcome. She watched Sou go with her eyes before turning her head to look at the tiger. The tiger looked Nyx boredily before yawning.
 
They made their way over to the lion and tiger cages and Jackson smiled a bit looking over at his precious pets. He glanced over at Nyx and mumbled a quick hello before opening one of the cages. One of the lions, named Sirius, walked over. Jackson pet the lion lovingly, glancing back at Jayden. "You may pet him if you like. Sirius rarely ever bites." He laughed a bit. Sirius was indeed one of the friendlier lions. Although sometimes Jackson liked the others more anyways. It fascinated him to think about what kind of damage they could do to a person if they so desired, the danger was exhilarating to him.
 
Sou nearly walked into Jackson, not having realized he'd been right there. "Sorry.." He mumbled looking at the ground. As he glanced back up he noticed the new member also standing there and just nodded as a way of greeting. "What..time do..we leave?" He asked softly, not liking to talk in front of the new member still, feeling self conscious about his lisp.
