RP: Circus Life

Jackson went up and introduced Jasmine. Then he went back to check up on every one else again. "Great job tonight guys, all you acts have been spectacular. Perhaps when the show's over we'll have a little celebration or something.." He said with a small smile. On occasion they would have a small party after the show just to have fun and kind of relax.
 
Nyx looked up at the sound of Jackson's voice and nodded her head. She appreciate the time to wind-down from her practice even though she doesn't tend to talk to anyone.
 
"Awe you're welcome.. you know you can ask me for help anytime" Trina would smile and look around at all the faces as she twirled her feet. Growing rather bored she'd stand and move off to the side. She was still in earshot and could easily keep in the conversation if she was wanted. Trina would begin to spin around on her tip toes and practice some of her stretches and poses.
 
~Juno and Luna~


Luna sat there and worked on her drawings.


*So beautiful* Cyrus complimented. Luna smiled. "Really? I thought the body was too oddly proportioned." She said as she went to erase some of it.


*Don't erase it, it's perfect.*


Luna giggled mumbling a thank you as she continued to work.


Juno just watched his sister sadly. He'd gotten used to her ramblings but it still bothered him. He wanted to, once again, try and explain how Cyrus was not a real person but knew better than to do it. All it would do was make her act crazier. He looked around at everyone else, hoping they hadn't noticed and, if they had, wouldn't say anything to her. Juno looked over at Sou and Trina. It always amazed, and sometimes disturbed, him- the things Sou could go through. The very thought of being burned was horrifying to him, but Sou put it on as an act like it was nothing.


When Jackson walked in the room and said they'd probably have a party afterwords Juno smiled. It had been a while since they had thrown a party and he always looked forward to them. It was those times especially that the circus seemed even more like a family.
 
The show was spectacular in Jaydens opinion. Now was his chance to find the ring leader and try to join the circus. His heart beat loudly as every one got up to leave, Jayden, looking as feminine as ever, stodd up and sashayed down through the stands, exiting, wondering where the performers could be found. He stopped to look at him self in a row of mirrors that were arranged in a line. They were those funny, odd shape mirrors that morphed your image, but Jayden found a normal one and looked judging into it. He loved the way he looked. He adjusted the peach colored dress and swept his blonde hair over his left shoulder, his swift legs, taking him to his needed to be destination. Where to look, he thought.
 
~Sou~


Sou decided to get up and walk around for a moment. Normally he didn't like walking too much since he fell a lot but he just wanted to suddenly. Guess he felt a little bored sitting around all the time. He walked around the camp for a while as the show finished and watched as one of the spectators lingered. He was a little curious as to why but not curious enough to ask. It was okay, to him, to talk to the other circus members since they were like family but he didn't like talking to other people unless he had to. So he just watched from a small distance away as they walked over looking in the different mirrors.
 
Jayden was beginning to worry. Maybe he couldn't find them for a reason. Maybe they didn't want to be found. He walked swiftly around the grounds, occasionally stumbling over his wedges. 'Who wears heels to a circus,' he thought to him self. Stepping away from the mirrors, he realized that he was really the only one left out of the audience. Scanning around, he spotted a tall handsome man watching him. Was he watching him because he looked strange? Was he doing somthing he wasn't supposed to? He slowly approached, waving a hand. "Uh, hey, do you know where I could find the ring leader?"
 
Sou just looked at her, wondering why she was looking for Jackson. But he slowly nodded figuring she was a fan or something. "T-This..way.." He said slowly trying his best not to talk so much with a lisp. Sou started walking towards where everyone else was, knowing Jackson was there. He looked over his shoulder to make sure she followed and stumbled a couple times not feeling the ground under him.
 
After Trina had done a twenty consecutive pirouette turns she would move towards a small mirror that was set up. She'd begin pulling off her pink wig and placing the bobby pins in a little coin purse she carried around. Setting the pink wig down on a chair so it wouldn't get dirty she slide the wig cap off and tuck it away in the pouch with the pins. Her long brown hair was pulled up into a twist and again had even more bobby pins holding it in. This was rather time consuming so the task was just about over after Sou and Magick got back with a girl in a cute peach dress. She'd wrap her wig up in a blue cloth so it wouldn't get damaged and turn to great the newcomer and her circus siblings. "Oh hi! Sou who have you found?" she'd ask cheerily as she removed the last bobby pin and her brown curls fell past her shoulders. Trina looked different with her doll make up and brown hair but once again she felt more her with the make up on. "I'm Trina" her pink lips would turn up into a happy smile.
 
Jayden had finally found some of the performers. He was surprised by how happy and cheerful the girl with the pink wig was and it made her feel more comfortable. The boy, Sou, He had heard, didn't seem to much of an extrovert and he could also see the girl beside him. "Uh, hi, I'm Jayden." He paused. "Um, could you tell me where the ringmaster is? I'd... actually like to join the circus.." He looked at them intently, wondering how they would react.
 
Nyx looked up from her task of maintenance of her torches at the sound of Trina's voice. She turned her eyes to the girl next to Sou, she raised her eyebrow wondering why Sou brought a girl. Nyx shrugged her shoulders, 'she is probably here for Jackson' she mused to herself. Nyx stood up before gesturing to the tent silently answering Jayden's question.

Sou just looked at Trina then back over to Jayden. He figured Trina would be more helpful than he was so he just stayed quiet. It surprised him when Jayden said she'd wanted to join the circus. It wasn't too often they got new members. Especially ones who wanted to join. He, like a few others, had very few choices but to join the circus. So, because of circumstance, he wanted to join but if he hadn't been abandoned he never would've even considered joining. It was sort of odd, yet refreshing, to meet someone who actually wanted to join.


(Just curious, should I use male or female pronouns when I talk about Jayden? I've been using female since Sou just assumed he was a girl...)

Jayden looked intently at there expressions, seeming surprised. Did they not usually get offers? He looked over at Nyx, not understanding her gesture at first. "Oh, hes in the tent..." Jayden became nervous. He had seen him at the beginning of the show but from a distance and didn't know how he acted. Was he crazy? distant? He was in a circus after all. He slowly walked toward the tent, about to enter with a timid, "Hello?"
 
"Why hello Jayden!" Trina would set her pink wig down and walk up to her and lift her head up to stare at her bright eyed. "I'll go with you Jackson isn't that scary all the time" she'd offer her hand and look around at Sou, Mag, and Nyx. It was surprising that someone wanted to join the circus after a show. Trina had run away just to be with the circus and later on she wanted to be in circ de souli. She was born to perform.
 
Nyx glanced at Jayden once more before siting down on a crate. She didn't know whether or not Jackson is accepting new members but its easier to ask so there's a chance to return to your life. Personally Nyx feels that you should not join a circus unless you have to or you have a love of performing. When she arrived it was the former, being with the circus provided her and took care of her unlike how her life had been before.
 
Jackson, hearing people outside the tent walked out. He saw Trina with some other girl and was a little confused by the situation but didn't show it, just kept a straight face like he always did. "What's going on? ...Who's this?" He asked.
 
Nyx stood up once Jackson appeared and spoke on a clear and calm voice, she gestured her hand to the girl named Jayden. "Her name is Jayden and she wants to join the circus Jackson."
 
Jackson, glancing at Nyx as she spoke, raised an eyebrow curiously. Someone who wanted to join the circus. He glanced back over at the girl, Jayden.


"Hello, I am Jackson the ring leader of the circus." He introduced himself. "What is it that you do? Your act?"
 
Nyx nodded her head at Jackson before sitting down on the crate again. She was always polite and respectful to Jackson being that he was the person that changed her life for the better.
 
Trina smiled and looked over to Nyx as she spoke to Jackson. Her eyes moved back to Jackson and she just stared at him with an admiring look about her. Trina would stand next to Jayden hoping her being there would help her not be nervous. "This is so wonderful our family can grow!" she'd twirl around in a circle and then stop to listen for Jayden's reaction. Trina always had so much energy during the performing days and it usually seemed like she was junked up on sugar, and energy drinks.
 
(No it's okay, I'm thinking maybe we won't always type out all the acts, just because not everyone is able to post as much and it takes so long just to get through one show. Maybe only two or three people will posts their acts whenever we have a show an I'll post who that is in the OOC..idk though yet)
