RP: Circus Life

(How shall we continue..? I suppose they'd be traveling the next day right?)


~Sou~


Sou walked back to where all the others were. He looked over at Cynth who was sleep then over at Juno and Luna. He wonder if he should mention anything about the possible new member but decided not to. Even though Jackson had mentioned something about a party Sou was too tired and decided just to go back to his trailer and lay down.


~Juno and Luna~


Juno got up and walked around since he was bored. He decided to go start packing up his stuff since they'd probably leave the next day. Luna just hummed to herself and kept drawing occasionally talking to Cyrus.
 
(I'm thinking maybe a small time skip, just cause things are so slow right now. And I believe Love was banned O.o so not much we can do about Jayden and all that..)


It was a lot of fun that night. They all stayed up late and celebrated. Of course they weren't up to long, they had to pack up and start traveling again tomorrow.


The next morning was busy as they packed up. Jackson walked around and made sure everyone had everything they needed and all the equipment was packed.
 
Jasmine woke up bright and early. She got ready for the day and put on a comfortable pair of yoga fitted shorts and a sports bra. She then pulled her hair back in a bun before going over to her small kitchnette in her trailer. She pulled out her blender and some fruit. She walked over to her cabinet and pulled out a bag of sugar. Finally she grabbed some ice and dropped all the ingredients into her blender. As she blended her soon to be delicious smoothie, she thought about her performance last night. She had messed up one or two times but tge audience hadn't noticed. They had applauded her instead. She smiled. She loved that people were actually clapping because they loved her weird ability to twist her body in ackward ways. If only her dad loved it too.


Once Jasmine finished her smoothie, that was incredible btw, she turned on some music.She decided to listen to the sound of the ocean. It was peacefull to her. She had never actually been to a beach ,however, but it was a dream of hers. Jasmine layed out her yoga mat and began her daily yoga routine and stretches. She found it calming and it also kept her body in tip top shape for performances. The calmness of the waves beating down on the rocky shore and the birds that flew over. Jasmine smiled and closed her eyes. She imagined herself there on the beach.


Later on Jasmine had finished her routine and showered and changed into something more suitable to walk around outside in. Before heading outside, she made sure everything was packed and ready. They were to be traveling today so she needed to be prepared. She then walked outside and looking for the others
 
Nyx woke bright and early as to assist in helping out packing the equipment before heading to another town. She already had her torches back and was helping a nearby crew in disasemmbling the tents. It was hard work but she got used to such labor years ago. As soon as the tents were down, she began to fold them up for easy transport before putting them into crates. Nyx wiped the sweat from her forehead, it was days like these were Nyx wore her black pants, red tank top with red flats, as she didn't want to ruin her show outfit.
 
~Juno and Luna~


Juno got up fairly early that morning and strolled around the camp for a while, helping pack up the tents and other equipment. He didn't have much stuff of his own to pack up since he already packed up most of it last night. Luna awoke a little later and went to find her brother. "Juno there you are!" She said smiling cheerful as she ran to hug him. Juno smiled a little and hugged her back.


(I just had an idea for something that could happen in the rp, not necessarily soon but just at some point, the circus ends up performing in a character's home town or something and they run into their family and..well yeah..)

~Sou~


Sou woke up and just laid in bed for a while. He didn't have anything to pack and there wasn't much he could go help with. He always dropped things and was too clumsy to be useful so it was always better, he'd decided, just to stay out of the way. Eventually he got and went to get something to eat.
 
Magick was up and polishing her crystal ball smoked trailed out through her tent from it making the camp smell like her inscence, candles were lit and she was humming a song lightly.
 
Jackson went and talked to some of the members of the circus. everything was going well and they were almost ready to leave. He saw Nxy helping putting away the tents and went over to help a bit. "We're almost done, so you can take a break now." He told her, putting away the last tent.
 
Nyx was about to put away another tent when she saw Jackson in the corner of her eye. She turned towards him and gave him a brief nod. "Alright, Jackson." replied Nyx as she stopped what see was doing. Her eyes were a bit softer whenever Jackson spoke to her but they would turn back into ice at everyone else. Nyx sat on the grass for a moment as she watched Jackson put away the last tent.

After putting away the tent, Jackson looked around. Seeing that pretty much everything was packed up he sighed relieved. They had a little extra time before they had to leave. Jackson looked at Nyx. "We have some extra time now, so if there's anything you need or want to do.."
 
Nyx rested her head on her knees and closed her eyes for a moment before answering Jackson, "I'm fine Jackson.". She didn't want to incovinence him and there wasn't anything she needed to do. She opened her eyes to look up at Jackson.
 
Jackson nodded and smiled a little. "Okay then," he said. He always did his best to interact with Nyx. Most of the other members seemed to get along and like to hang out with each other, but it seemed Nyx was always by herself. Though Jackson also spent most of his time in solitude, he still enjoyed the family like environment the circus had, and wanted to make sure no one was left out.
 
Seeing that Jackson was smiling at her she tried to smile back but it came out as a grimace than a smile. She looked away from Jackson to stare at the sky. Nyx understood why the other performers didn't talk to her, she is cold and doesn't talk that often which lead to awkard situtations. She didn't mind being alone though.
 
Trina had been missing in action most of the morning. She woke early with the sun and began packing up all of her belongings. It usually took her up until the time they were ready to leave for her to make sure everything was in it's place. She had packed all her jewelry and makeup away into their correct boxes and cases. Her outfits were all hung up and strapped down so they wouldn't fall and become wrinkled on the long trip. Then all of her shoes were wrapped and in their boxes. Last was the wigs, she had just about one of each color imaginable, hair was her favorite next to make up. She'd tap her chin and stare at the ones she had taken out for this past week's shows. She had to brush three of them but was unsure if she had time. But she had to risk angering Jackson with her OCD because her wigs were a part of her act. Besides he owed her a new pink outfit. Trina would finally leave her car and lock the door behind her. As she came out to where most of the other group was she'd wave happily and yell a greeting so just about all could hear. "Well good day!" Trina would be wearing a tan sleeveless dress that fit snug and went down to her thighs. Her long brown hair would fall behind her in ringlets and her make up was done extravagantly, no surprise there. Her complexion was it's normal pale color and she wore no contacts leaving her eyes a soft gray. Her make up was done in neutral tans, golds, and browns to make her appear like a porcelain doll. Her make up had taken her nearly an hour (picture if you will a short human barbie doll) but she was so proud of her appearance.





Iredessa didn't take very long to get things ready for the move. Her snake Kah had been happily placed into his cage and locked away for safe travel and he had also been fed. Iredessa had spent the morning sorting her jewelry and cleaning it as well as her outfits. She would be dressed in black leggings under a red sari. However her head was not covered and her feet were bare, she was not fond of shoes but somehow the tops of her feet were always clean and decorated with little jeweled chains. As she passed Jackson and Nyx she'd nod her head and then come across paths with the elemental boy. He had caught her interest as he touched something she had only ever seen done once in her life. She'd slow her pace and stare at him, but could not remember the greeting words that they used. She would pull out a small booklet and begin searching through the words she had written to help her learn to communicate.


 
Seeing Trina, Jackson smiled a bit and walked up behind her placing his hands on her shoulders. "You've been quite busy all morning.." He commented.
 
Seeing that she has taken a long enough break, Nyx stood up and began to walk around to stretch her legs. She looked back to see Jackson with Trina, she noticed that their realationship was closer but it could be that he was like that to the others. 'I must be over-thinking again' she murmured to herself.
 
"It seemed I couldn't get right to sleep last night" She'd shrug her shoulders and look up at him with a smile. Trina would then turn around to face him "It took me forever to brush through my hair" she'd finally say "and packing is always a nightmare" the brunette would look at Nyx and wave happily. Trina was always warm and inviting and she knew Nyx was complete opposite but she always put the hand out to be grabbed so to speak. She wondered why they weren't friends, Trina really only had Jackson and Sou, but she tried to talk to everyone.
 
Seeing Trina wave cheerfully to her, Nyx returned the gesture with a stiff wave of her hand. She turned her head away before walking towards her trailer. Nyx merely looked at the scenery with an impassive look, it was like she wasn't there. In fact that was true, she would always go back into her memories and try to remember the child she once was. But it has become a point that she could only recall glimpses of her childhood, she can't even remember her parents' faces anymore. Whenever she was alone, in the past, Nyx would try to convince herself that she could change into a different person..into someone warmer. All though she has now come to terms that it was hopeless thinking, as how can you change into someone that you can't even remember? You just can't.
 
~Luna and Juno~


Seeing Cynth walk up to them Luna smiled. "Hi Cynth!" She said and waved. Juno smiled and simply gave a nod as his 'hello'.


~Sou~


Sou went and sat, eating an apple. He watched everyone as the finished packing everything up, actually envious he wasn't able to be of much help.
