She took his Hand and smiled, however the blush she grew to know that well returned. Then, she noticed the prince and princess. She knew they wanted to talk in private. That was nothing new. Jeanne did not know what they would be doing, she had a bad feeling. But she trusted them and after all, they were like siblings to her. "Don't let them see us.", she muttered, the small frame of the surprisingly strong woman pulling Fenrir around a corner. "They want privacy anyways.", she murmured. She stood awfully close to the man, getting both, a nice and a uncomfortable feeling through it. She blushed more and looked away. "D-dont think I stood like this on purpose...", she muttered and before he could reply, she would pull him further so they would start a nice little walk.

This girl was going to give his heart a problem if she kept up with the endearing actions she was doing. Her explanation as to why they needed to move so quickly barely even registered. Especially the sudden proximity they were in from one another. The male took a deep breath to calm himself as the urge to steal her lips began to crawl up from some unknown depth within himself and he halfway regretted it because DAMN she smelled good. At this range, Fenrir was going to lose his mind and he silently thanked his ancestors when she pulled him further and increased the distance a bit between them.

She lead him to a more secluded section of the gardens but equally as beautiful and maintained as the entrance of the garden. Fenrir had to smile and appreciate how well it was all kept. "I think they won't see us here Jeanne." He said with a mildly teasing tone and he gave her hand a squeeze to remind her she was still holding onto it. He didn't mind of course, if that was what she wanted but he had a feeling she was gripping it subconsciously.

Jeanne led him to her favorite place. She hadn't even noticed that they were still holding hands until he squeezed hers gently. She blushed a bit and then squeezed back, sticking out her tongue at him. "Yeah, it's fine here. I just love this place." She sighed happily and looked up to meet his eyes. "Its beautiful, don't you think?"

So she wanted to keep it that way? Perfectly fine by the guardian. Fenrir gave her a small wink when she stuck her tongue out at him. He held her small hand a little tighter and had to tear his gaze away from hers to once again admire the garden. "Yes, it truly is beautiful. Though I must show you the garden back in Riga as well. Much like this one but with an entirely different assortment of flowers and plants. Flowers have always been an amazing existence to me. Back in my tribe, there was no flowers. Rarely any greenery. Most of the shades I saw were white, black, greys, or red. There was always plenty of red in the snow." Fenrir thought for a moment before shaking his head of the memory that threatened to take over his mind. "So all of these shades, hues, and colours have always left me stunned. Blue eyes were also something I never saw." The wolf knight stole a glance at Jeanne's deep blue gaze and he couldn't help but stare for a moment before returning his gaze to the flower garden.

Jeanne returned the gaze with the same admiration. "Your home sounds like a harsh place, one that would make a hard man...", she smiled a bit. "I just hope it left a soft core down there. People that are all hard and cold usually are very nice..."

This caused the man to chuckle and look up to the sky, "Wolves are not cold creatures, though people on this side of the world seem to make them out that way. Wolves need to be warm of heart and body to survive the bone chilling cold of the winters where I come from. I am not soft Jeanne. But for my chosen one I could easily show that side of me." He added the last part with a small grin and a light laugh.

Jeanne tilted her head. He knew something like that would embarrass her easily. He knew that and teased her. She wouldn't let him get away. Jeanne got veeery close to him, her chin almost touching his chest as she looked up. "Then I will have to discover that side...", she purred. She was curious if she could tease him as well, she even managed to not blush.

Fenrir's eyes widened and he coughed a few times, even letting go of Jeanne's hand and turned away quickly. That was way too close and the way her voice changed to that....sultry tone. It sent chills down the 6 foot man's spine. He was desperately trying to be noble about this but the fact that he wanted her physically as much as emotionally could not have been lost on her.....could it? "Jeanne, men have a rather bestial nature when they want something very badly. Some more than others. It would be best to not pet that beast lest it should lose control." It had been many moons since Fenrir had laid with a woman and that wasn't helping the fact either.

Jeanne got a big grin on her face. She felt challenged. The fact he thought this "beast" could take over her that easily. "Your beast can try to take what it wants, but it wouldn't have a good time, I can tell." She stuck out her tongue again and then backed of. She didn't want the situation to escalate anyways. "Sorry. But don't tease me, I won't ever turn a challenge down." Then she took his hand again and smiled calmly.

That was a challenge. Oh that was a challenge and Fenrir never refused a challenge. The knight locked eyes with but he saw the same look reflected within her eyes. Oh I like this woman. I really, REALLY like this woman.

"Hahaha! Oh ancestors above, I think I've fallen." He laughed. This time he wasn't teasing and he took her hand as she took his. Fenrir nodded his head onwards for her to continue guiding him through the garden, returning her smile with one of his own before flicking his gaze once more to the party beyond. He may have been greatly enjoying his time but he still needed to make sure there was no problems within the throne room. Thankfully, the festivities were continuing as normal and he brought his eyes back to lovely maiden before him.

Jeanne blushed at his statement. She saw, felt he wasn't teasing her and it got her all flustered again. She looked away for a second to collect herself and then smiled at him again, looking for the party herself. But everything seemed fine and she continued to walk through the garden, this time however gently holding his hand while walking besides him.

Lorenzo Chartres

        I woke up from my slumber, as I yawned, I began to then dress in clothing that would suit me for a meal. Once I had left, I could hear my maids fixing up the room I had just left. To my surprise, the sun had hung over the sky, instead of just beginning to rise. I had realized that I woke up late, although I did not care. I began to walk towards the dining room, and I was shocked to that there was a banquet set up, just for me. I had begun to eat what would be my breakfast, but in reality, it was lunch. I continued to eat as I was starving missing my first meal, but also I ate with manner, with meaning, not just putting food in my mouth and moving my teeth to grind it down.

Leon continues walking not checking to see if his sister was following him or not, Although he was sure that she was there. The sounds of festivity fadeded into mere back ground music as he continued to walk along the walkway overlooking the garden. He was movement from the corner of his eye and Leon walked over to the railing and peered down. An amused smile crossed his face and he leaned on the railing placing his chin in one hand. "Well my dear sister it seems our brother isn't the only one who seems to be enjoying our new alliance with Riga." Leon didn't even attempt to hide the amusment in his voice as he gsstured to the two figures of Jeanne and the Queens captain of the guard down below.

As the festivities began in proper, Haakon and his queen dispersed to mingle with those who were willing to offer them company. There was an increasing number of courtiers who decided they'd warm up to the Origians, most of them Rigans, as their nation had experienced relatively few raids during the past few centuries. It was then that Haakon came to realize just how dull foreign politics were. For what seemed like hours, Haakon stood about, nodding politely as he listened to the other guests prattle on about who was courting who, whose children did what, or who had an unfortunate accident, and it was all so boring. Hilde, on the other hand, looked to be engrossed with their chatter. She was the one with the sharper tongue, after all. Luckily, the food was delicious, to the Verlesian court's everlasting credit, or else he might excused himself ages ago. Weeks of sailing without anything to eat but jerky meat and hard biscuits had him longing for food like this. Soon enough, with a stomach full and a goblet of wine in hand, he finally did excuse himself to the gardens before he could be roped into another round of gossip.

Hilde could not be more comfortable here. She found it refreshing to have some casual conversation after such a long journey. As she expected, however, the other Origians did not look like they were having a good time,  with their faces marked by either boredom or disdain. Lord Buras Garethsson looked to have a mixture of both in his expression, and he looked as though he would reach for his axe each time a palace guard walked by. HIlde frowned. There was no one as fierce or as loyal as the White Lion, yet he was a known trouble-starter, and would deal a nasty blow to international relations if his temper were to be unleashed. Briskly, she approached him, taking a thin chalice of wine from a servant's tray as she walked. "Unimpressed, Lord Buras?" Hilde asked, with just the slightest hint of a smile. "I do hope you've been conducting yourself appropriately. I fear there may not be any room for mistake so long as we're here."

@Beowulf

"Very," Buras said to his queen before taking a drink from his goblet. "I have done nothing wrong, and will continue to do so for as long as I can, as I am honor bound to do." He did straighten himself though, making him that little bit taller. To put it in comparison, he was a dog and his leash had just been tugged. Albeit he was a very big dog, the kind that you'd use to hunt bears, but he was still loyal. "But I cannot tell you how long that will be." he growled into his goblet before taking another drink. As it stood he was growing tired of all this politicking. They were all empty words and hollow promises, he could feel it. They were looking for a weakness, probing for that opening to jump on. And he'd be damned if he was to show it to them. "I do not know how you and Haakon have the patience to deal with them." he told her, gesturing to the crowd of nobles.

Robert Durrandon

"I will personally lead the armies of Verlais and Riga against the barbarian King IF he decides to invade Riga" Robert replied to the young queen. Robert had a fierce reputation as an amazing battle strategist, beating the old kings armies when he was outnumbered 2 to 1.

Vaila Durrandon

Vaila took her brothers arm as was customary when a lord and lady strolled together. They made their way to the gardens which were empty of people as everyone was still in the throne room mingling. "So brother, will you be joining in on the joust today?" She asked, already knowing that he'd probably say no. She knew what she wanted to do but decided to make small talk instead.

"I would like to be clear on some adjustments in this treaty as well as dome more detailed explain since you since your highness A contract is defined as an equal exchange between parties and this is something this...lacks." She placed her hand on the table. "I will still be acting Queen of Riga throughout our agreement and when Prince Aleric and I are wed, He will be acting King. When his coronation comes he will be Ruler of both Riga and Verlais which I expected will be to your liking. However I refuse to let Riga be dissolved into Verlais. We are strong and proud people, it wouldn't be right for Riga to fall in such an unjustify way from my death. If I die without bearing a child, a person of my choice will take my place if Aleric is no longer presence on the earth. That's my deal." She gestures toward the Prince. "If you has any opinions on changes, you may speak. If not than this is my stance on the matter, you try to negotiate or coerce me but it will not waver my adjustments."

@SuperSpice @skelegate

A flash of suprise crossed his face as Vaila took his arm and they were soon on the garden. she's close... He shook his head to clear the storm of thoughts that threathened to overrun his mind. Now that no one was around he let out relaxed sigh and have his sister a small smile. "Unless a miricale or unforantute event comes along I will not be participaiting. I don't need what pride I have to be shattered by a dulled stick." His eyes surveyed the bestiful garden, flowers of all kind grew here and it was one of Leon's favorite areas of the castle. "Well Vaila what do you think of our knew sister. She definitely knows how to show her royal heritage."

Fenrir felt eyes upon him and glanced back to the party and sure enough, locked eyes with the Prince of this kingdom. The knight nodded his head in acknowledgement but nothing further than that. There was no need for more after all, at this distance anyway.

Fenrir quickened his step for a moment so that they disappeared from the scrutiny of the prince and Princess. "Eyes are everywhere it seems." He muttered, more to himself than to his partner.

Robert Durrandon

Robert looked at the young Queen,pondering what she had just said. His face suddenly turned cold and emotionless. "These are my terms, take them or leave them, if you do not agree then i will allow the Barbarian hoards to ravage your land, rape your women and slaughter your men, you cannot defeat them on your own" Robert said, thinking to himself, the Queen would be foolish to deny such an agreement, but if she did, perhaps Robert would send an envoy to the barbarian King, encouraging him to invade, he outnumbered Riga 2 to 1. Robert considered accepting her terms but wanted to see how she'd react to his challenge.

Vaila Durrandon

"I think you'd be good at it" She said playfully brushing her hand across his chest, she was very flirty today and had spent hours putting on makeup and such, bringing out her  beauty more then ever. "Father will no doubt try to take advantage of her, she is inexperienced after all" Vaila said in reply to Leon. The pair soon came to a small clearing, surrounded by bushes where no one would be able to see them if anyone else happened to be in the garden. Her feelings for Leon suddenly deepened. It was so wrong but also felt so right at the same time.

Lorenzo Chartres

        Whispers had told me that her Majesty is meeting with foreign nobility. Talks of a union between of these two kingdoms had really forced me to wake up. I was not going to serve a king who usurps a throne just by a simple agreement. With godspeed, I had dressed myself off, and I had one of my messengers, pen a letter to her majesty, and had them go off immediately. As I then had a carriage set up, and then when haste, we were rolling towards the neighboring kingdom. Not to far away, I had also sent word to my knights to rally up the serfs and bring them to the border, lest I need back-up. They were merely less than a thousand at most, but they will be able to help me. I also had ordered my messenger to inquire about the conversation about the discussions that had happened. Thoughts raced through my mind as such a decision in such a short notice had frightened me. I knew those too were making attempts to union kingdoms, but I did not like this action one bit.

        My carriage was almost there as my messenger had come back with information and how the meeting went. I was deeply offended by how the King of Velrais treated her Majesty. This inclined me to write back a footnote to the letter I had first written. As we approached the border, men had approached me. Border Guards. As they questioned my travels over borders I had stated, "I am Lorenzo Chartres, lord of the Chartres Manor, Vassal Lord to Her Majesty, the Queen of Riga. I am here to attend the wedding that had been arranged between your King my Queen," I noted hastily. I prayed they had no objections to my passage. I would continue to roll pass them if they didn't have any further questions. Of course, if they did I would stop, if not I would be going to where this event is happening without stoppage.

The letter I had written earlier said,

My Queen,

I request you stall out the proceedings. I am getting there posthaste, as I completely object to such a union of Kingdoms. Please do not find this gesture selfish or insubordinate. I merely am looking after the Kingdom, and representing the discontent other members of the Rigan Nobility may have when it comes to this union.

Sincerely,

Lorenzo Chartres, Lord of Chartres Manor

The Latter Footnote that I had mentioned as well read;

I also find it very offensive that such a ruthless King offend you in such a manner. I beg of you, deny his offer, he will be a burden to us all. For what is good of the kingdom, and not of the heart, do. not. accept. the. offer.

Sincerely,

Lorenzo Chartres,  Lord of Chartres Manor

"The only thing That I would be good at in jousting is getting knocked from the saddle, I will stick to my flowers and books." A tingling feeling spread through his chest as Vaila's hand brushes against him. It was definitely a strange feeling, not a bad one but a very confusing one. Moements turned into seconds and they soon found themselves in one of the hidden clearings. He remebered playing games and hiding from his family in these clearings. He turned and looked into her eyes, sparks of something floated inside those large and beautiful eyes. One could lose themselves in eyes like those.

Uncouncisly Leon had reached up and brushed aside a strand of hair that feel astray from the rest. "Indeed, Father will do his best to exploit her at every turn until she is no longer useful. This msrrige deal may be an important descion for her country but a terrible one for her personally." Leon somehow managed to keep his voice sounding normal despite the nervous feeling in the back of his stomach. why am I getting nervous? We are just sibblings, right?

Vaila Durrandon

"Well, it's a good deal for our father, he'll control two thirds of Eiriond after this marriage" She said, blushing profusely as Leon brushed a strain of hair away from her face. She could feel her heart pounding and their eyes met. Two voices started sounding in her head "You're siblings this is wrong!" One of them said "Just do it, it feels right!" The other chimed back. A gust of wind blew against her, making her body tingle even more. She could see the desire in Leon's eye's, she guessed that he could also see it in hers. She turned to fully face him, her head moved slightly forward as if she was going in for a kiss, she continued to move it closer and closer to Leon. If he wanted the same thing, he would hopefully also move into the kiss. Vaila was now fully ignoring the voice of reason in her head and listening to her heart instead.

"Bring them then, In fact I will be at the gates seeing them head on. To let every nation know, whether it wishes me well or ill, that I shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any ally, oppose any for to assure the survival of my countrymen. If Riga should fall let it be by the hands of God and not due to the lack of my fertility. I advise you do not test my power and do not tempt my fury. " Her eyes were fierce whilst her voice was passion and demanding.  She would be damned to see her bent to the King's stateement or feared a invasion from Origa.

The Queen of Verslais, Alexandra Durrandon, walked into the throne room slightly frustrated. She arrived late due to complications within the city regarding the festivals being held after the marriage. She scanned the throne room for her husband and kids. When she couldn't spot them she sighed and walked to her throne, sitting down and watching the crowd. She noticed the Queen and King of Origia and held back a laugh, not expecting them to accept the invitation. She continued watching the crowd, waiting on her family to come back into the throne room.

Robert grinned in amusement at the young Queen, to refuse a union between their kingdoms for such a minor detail would be foolish of him "Very well, i shall have the documents amended" He said finally. "Feel free to mingle with the other nobility in the court" He said before swiftly leaving the room and entering the throne room again. As soon as he entered he spotted his Queen, Alexandra and went over to sit on his adjacent throne "My Queen" He said as he sat down, watching the court before them mingle.
