Fantasy Rosewind Tavern (Walk in Always Welcome!)

"Aw, you know me, I'd never! Just a few valuables here and again, but who needs 'em 'cept for ol' Arrow?" His grin widened. "You good, chief? I'd hate to ruin someone first day here. What is this, an adventuring party? Oh, I'm totally down! What're we killing? Who're we fighting?"

Shiki smiled. Well, at least he knew they wouldn't be chased by a wealthy guy or something. He also liked being called chief.

"Well that we don't know yet.. You recieved a letter right?" Shiki asked.

"Damn straight! Got a 'lil letter sayin' I'd get a good thousand if I decided to show up, so, here I am." He twirled the knife once more and put it back inside his coat. "Honest, that's enough to buy passage on a boat and still have, like, nine-fifty to spare! I have maps to complete, y'know, things to see, things to kill."

Shiki nodded. Apparently, everyone they've met so far were here because of the letter. He seemed less enthuasiastic on the killing part. Sure, he's killed before but was never exited for it.
Temota's eyes narrowed. If he was coming with them, she'd have to watch out, for her things among a list. She sighed. She already had her twin brother to give her a headache. She didn't need a thief and an elf with a large amount of ego.

"Let me guess, everyone else is, too? Weird! I'd be glad to take the salary off your hands, though, no problem. Just hit me up!" Arrow smirked and took out a hand crossbow and a bottle of polish. "Well, while we're waiting, why not tell the class about yourself?"

Shiki chuckled. This guy had a sense of humor, Maybe this journey will be a lot more interesting. Temota was visibly tensed as the thief took out a crossbow. She used one in different cases but it wasn't the weapon that worried her. The fact that he was taking out his weapons could get them kicked out.

"Well..I guess-" He was cutt off by his twin, who had her arms crossed and her left eye crossed, the other eye staring at the theif
"We've said enough" She said in a stoic manner.

"Aw, well, that's no fun. Let the chief speak, he seems to know what he's doing. Ah, whatever, not my problem." He put his feet up on the table and brushed a lock of ash-blonde hair behind his ear. "Guess I should introduce myself, too. Arrow H. Jones, thief extraordinaire and finest crossbowman west of the East!" Arrow grinned and raised the crossbow, loading a bolt into it and cocking it back. He shot the bolt into the wall where it stuck, quivering, and caused him to laugh. "Look a' that! Told'ja!"

Shiki looked in interest"Oh cool! My sister is the best archer I know! You guys can compare your skills?" Temota glared at her twin. Why did he have to talk so much? At least she didn't have to call him thief. Arrow? What kind of name was that? It sounded like the exact same thing she used to attack. Well..It was.
They both didn't expect the bolt getting shot to the wall. Shiki clapped at the show while Temota's reaction wasn't as positive.

"What are you doing? You're destroying property, You could get us all kicked out" Temota hissed, walking to the bolt and pulling it from the wall.
"I don't know about you but I would rather stay here and wait than waiting outside with a boot mark on my behind" She scowled
Shiki tried to calm her down, while smiling nervously"She's just had a bad day, that's all, even if sh'es normally a party pooper" The comment made Shiki get hit at the back of the head with the bolt, which resulted on a double pair of blue eyes glare at eachother.

He rolled his eyes. "Someone's uptight. Hey, princess, calm your britches, nobody's gonna care. And if they do, I'll just show them what's up, no big deal." Arrow finished polishing his weapon and stuck it back into his belt. "Ah, crossbows, great for grappling lines, too. Like little arquebuses, but significantly less annoying! So, who are you, again? Either you didn't tell me, or I forgot, because it was boring." He grinned lazily at Temota and Shiki.

Temota tensed. Princess? Who did this guy think he was. That name brought back things she didn't want to remember. She sent him a glare before tossing back his bolt and sitting down, closing her eyes in annoyance.
Shiki rubbed the place where his sister hit him and chuckled"Unlike you, we just travel around and help out. I'm Shikimiriki but just call me Shiki. My twin grump over there is Temotamiku..Call her Temota, nothing else. Only I get to call her other things." He gestured at his twin, who was currently reading a book she pulled out of her bag.

He raised his hand and caught the bolt before nodding. "And why'd you assume I don't travel? Or help? Damn, I don't look that bad. I think I'll take you up on that. Guess I've got a name to the face now, huh?" Arrow shrugged. "So, Temota, d'you need some help pulling the stick outta your ass?" He grinned and winked. "I could certainly help you there."

Temota looked up in disbelief. Great, another flirt she had to deal with. She growled, while Shiki watched in amazement. He knew not to flirt with his sister and what happened if someone else did. That was partly the reason why the men at the bars and taverns he used to go to knew to keep their flirts for other ladies.

"Why don't I shoot an arrow to your face, or better up to your own" Temota hissed, glaring at him.

"Touchy! Hey, I get it, no problem." He raised his hands as if to placate her. "Frigid as you may be, Temotamiku, you certainly are my type. Honestly, most people in here are. It's weird how everyone is ethereally beautiful all a sudden." He looked around, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Like, seriously, are there no average people in this room? You've got Fire McFireHands over here, some sort of archer, oh- look, a necromancer, maybe two- dang, guess we were chosen for a reason...? I mean, I know I'm devilishly handsome, but damn." Arrow was not, in fact, devilishly handsome. He had dull, ash-blonde hair pulled into a messy, short ponytail, and green eyes with catlike pupils. His cheeks were rosy and pockmarked. His body seemed to look somewhat better- thin, with toned muscles, and tall- but it couldn't really cover up the ivory grin he sported, baring his canines playfully. "What is it with Fire McFireHands, anyways? Like, what's his deal? I heard screaming from outside. Normally I'd laugh at the suffering of the damned, but that was just confusing."

Temota's anger and disgust was replaced with plain confusion. She was his type? Everybody was beautiful? Really? He was a flirt as bad as her brother, and the nicknaming made it all more confusing
Shiki understood and chuckled"Pfft, I bet I'm more handsome than you! Anyway, well, 'McFireHands is actually an adventurer, for real. He wasn't actually screaming..There was a small..fight going on because he hates Shadow Born, which is what Emerald is by the way, and Shadow Born are some sort of evil people? I don't know but Emerald isn't evil, definetly, I can assure you that" Shiki explained.

"Wise men put their belief in ideas and not in circumstance," he quoted, looking at the ceiling. "Man, this place is really run-down. It might come crashing down on us. Honestly, in my humble profession, you don't trust anyone you haven't known longer'n your own brother. Who knows? Maybe this Emerald chick is just biding her time 'fore she stabs us in the back. Lucky me, I've got great reflexes." He rolled up his sleeve and proudly displayed a jagged scar. "This one almost got me! And," He rotated his neck so a similar line caught the light. "I'm just good at avoiding knives. Though, not necessarily shadows, so it'd be nice if someone didn't try to kill me in my sleep. Not this time!"

"A thief?" Rebecca jokingly drew her cloak closer to herself. "Well, I don't really care what you do, long as I can't prove it. Just... keep your fingers to yourself, if you would." She looked at everyone, a little curious. "Yes, this offer of a job definitely got my interest. One could live like nobility for half of what is being offered. Does anyone have any hints as to what the work actually is?"

Shiki raised a brow, frowning a bit. Emerald wasn't like that. Sure, he only met her today but he knew her enough to know she could't even hold a knife well.
"She's not like that" he defended"I know cause her consience always gets the best of her, I've noticed" He sighs.

Temota looked at Rebbeca with interest and respect"At least there's someone here who doesn't ask stupid questions" She looked at Arrow and Shiki with emphasis on the last part. She turned to Rebbeca"Honestly, I don't know. I think it's some sort of rescue quest or something that takes a long time" She answered

"Eh, 's okay, a lot of people just aren't good judges of character." He shrugged. "And, princess, I'll have you know there are no stupid questions. Unless they're asking about, y'know, why I'm so cool, and then they're stupid questions. 'Cause it's obvious." Arrow looked at the zombie girl and grinned. "Sure, I'll keep my fingers to myself, but I can't speak for my paws. Ain't that right, Socrates?" He looked to the rat on his shoulder, who scampered onto the table. "Sneaky little bastard. He's pretty useful."

Temota had enough. He was obviously annoying her on purpose, wanting some sort of reaction to amuse himself. A reaction he wanted, A reaction he would get. Slamming the table with her hands, she stood up, grabbed Arrow by the collar of his shirt and glared at him with furious blue eyes

"Don't. Call. Me. Princess." She said each word was laced with poison and rage.

Shiki didn't try to calm her down, since he knew he would be stuck in her net of anger and probably end up with two black eyes. He mouthed an 'I told you so' to Arrow and hoped that he wouldn't get into something worse

Arrow's grin widened, becoming the patented lazy smug bastard smirk. "Proper ladies don't threaten boys at the dinner table," he chided, seeming incredibly satisfied. Within a moment, he'd pulled a ring knife from his coat and positioned it near her stomach, holding the entire handle so she'd only be able to grab the blade. "Eh, you can kill me. At least I'll die by the hands of a pretty lady." His cat-like pupils were fixated on her face as he said the next word. "Princess."

Temota tensed, feeling the blade near her stomach. This guy was smart, she had to admit it. Punching him away from her would relieve some of her anger but would also equal having a small cut on her stomach. Temota's eye twitched at the last word. Memoried came flooding in. She didn't want to know. She didn't want to remember. All of her planning vanished and she gave him one of her best punches- One that was usually reserved for her twin's stupidities- right in the face, applying more force on the nose.

As soon as she went in for the punch, Arrow ducked his head so she'd hit the hard part of his skull and held the knife in place. If she tried to get any closer, she'd impale herself. As it was, it'd already made a nick. "Mm, touchy, are we?" The smirk never faded, though it was hidden.

Temota internally cursed. This guy was as annoying as he was smart and quick. The fact that he was still joking made her angrier
"Shut up!" She tossed him away from her and took out her bow, aiming at his head.
"Stay still, Didn't you say you preferred to die at the hands of a 'pretty lady'?" She said, quoting him

Shiki stood up and tackled his twin, with lots of difficulty, which lead to a small brawl that lasted only a minute before pinning her down
"Calm down, Temota!" He said, still holding her tight despite all of the kicking and struggling"Didn't you say you didn't want to get kicked out? You'll end up getting kicked out if you keep on acting childish!" He tried to reason. Temota growled at him, but he was right. Plus, It wasn't like her to be acting on her emotions. She took a deep breath and Shiki let her go.
Temota glared at Arrow for a few minutes before going back to her table, sitting down and pulling up her hood, which covered everything except two, long brown braids.

Shiki looked at everyone apollogetically"Don't worry, She'll calm down soon"

His back smashed into the wall and he looked up at Temota. "Well, I'd prefer living to dying, but, yes, if I had to, I would prefer a pretty lady. Or boy. I'm not picky." He righted himself and crossed his legs, watching her retreat. Arrow grinned. "I know she will. It wouldn't be good to get kicked out, right? Property damage and such?" His voice took on a mocking tone. "Imagine if you broke the chair! Or the wall. This place is already in need of renovation. What if you made it crash?"

Temota was tempted to attack him again, but she got hold of herself and ignored him

Shiki sighed. If they were going to act like this during their quests, they were proably going to kill themselves before a monster or enemy did. He gave Arrow a hand" Well, It's better if you stop, don't want anymore fights here, do we? Well maybe you do but most of us here don't"
