Sorry for the double post, I'm still finishing up my character but I figured I'd go ahead and reveal the general details. I'm going with a synthwave drummer that used to be in a band who played the role of crew members on an exploratory spaceship.

That sounds fucking radical, but the base world of the rp is gonna be more modern. So our characters would be more or less people who would exist today.
So explorstory space ship? I dunno. I love the idea, but that's a bit too sci-fi to be happening in 2019

You could go for a keyboardist, since that's a role they fill and something we don't have yet. Just lug around a big electronic keyboard with its own built-in stand and speakers. Also could help take your character in a different direction since we might be a bit too full up on hard rock tough guys.

You can be a second drummer. One of my favorite bands, The Grateful Dead, had two. You can also be the guy who plays more than one weird instrument, like the flute, accordion, sax, etc.Drums or something that more contributes to the beat and background of the songs. Have you ever started on a character, get most of the way done, and then realize it doesn't mesh well with a detail you really wanted to include so you just decide to scrap it all and start over?

I wasn't really sure if I'd made it in time so I've been cery quiet so far xD if I am in fact in, what's your views on classical instruments? I kinda have an idea for a classical artist who's lost their passion for it and wants to create something more modern?

So I wrote my backstory with the assumption that we're not starting out as full fledged bards, but if that's not what you have in mind just let me know so I can change it. Other than that I just need to settle on my appearance and clean up some sections.

My idea is that you can make your character anything, as long as it's grounded in a bit of reality. As soon as we have that down, I think I'm gonna make a discord server for us to do minor things like dice rolls for how affective attacks are and what songs we're gonna play.

Okay but really you do realize that of the characters posted half have no backstories? We have very little to go off character wise, not even your own character's story to use as a basis, so even someone that did put one down isn't sure about it. Your only guiding line has been "be grounded in a bit of reality" in a game ostensibly about magical musicians fighting The Sad from a parallel world and we don't really know how our characters even begin to fit in that supernatural dynamic or the actual plot.
