Thanks! Not that it is as big of a deal in the MDC world of Robotech, but its still nice to see.

Oh rackelfratz! Between Real Life and the games I'm in, I forgot! Thanks for the reminder!Does anyone need any assistance in getting their characters up to level three?
I'll double check. I may have missed the extra action from the MECT for level 3. Thanks for spotting that.Sherwood Hey bud! Shouldn't Steven have 7 Attacks per Round in a VHT, re: MECT?
No, only the bonuses you might have from your skills.Psychie
"Pre-ramble" - This is not a request for free goodies; it is a request to see if I have missed something or not (because I don't see it in the Character section).
Are you providing Character Advancement Bonuses like those in our past Robotech games? Like for example, Pathfinder's extra Ability Score point every 3 levels, and things of that nature? Or is this game not having that?
Either way is fine by me! I just don't want to miss out if they are offered.
I'm letting you get the one skill per level, and you can go ahead and select Boxing as your level 2 skill if you'd like. I will clarify this in the character thread right away.Psychie
In that case, I think I goofed up - in my own Robotech game, I allow folks to choose 1 Skill every level which is what I did here with Kitty at 2nd level. She gets a Secondary at 3rd and last I checked (again, in your previous game), you treated Secondary Skills as Other Skills? If this is true, then she gets to keep Boxing. If not, I delete it and choose something else. Which are you more comfortable with, please?
Your game, your rules! =)
Yes, please. Go ahead and consider most of the skills in that list fair game. Obviously there are some that are Rifts specific that are not going to work here, but the others are good to go.Psychie I don't know where we are drawing our Skill selections from. In the past, in Sherwood's games, we've used The Complete Palladium Skills Book v6.0 for Skill progression beyond 1st level. If you are also using this list, may I request the Computer Networks Skill for Miyazaki? I think it fits her to a tee.
Under the Computers category (or Technical if used in the Robotech setting?). Skill Book v6.0, page 9 (toward the bottom of the page). To save you time of looking it up, the description is below:
Computer Networks: Getting information out of national and international computerized data networks is a job for a specialist. Characters with this skill can use their abilities to track down names, addresses, phone numbers, license plates, and just about anything else. Base Skill: 55% +5% per level of experience.
I might need some help in getting a new skill for barnes but can't really find the right skill set or at least not reading.Does anyone need any assistance in getting their characters up to level three?
Well, Psychie is using a house rule that you get a skill for each level up you go, so if you haven't picked one out for level 2 yet, you get two. Have you considered taking computer programming and computer hacking? Those two skills are really good to have on hand.I might need some help in getting a new skill for barnes but can't really find the right skill set or at least not reading.
And before i forget my hp roll for level 3
