I'm pretty sure half the badges he gets he is just given them coz he does something for the gym leader. Erika, of Viridian Gym, pops first into my mind as an example

Heh yeah. Like Brock and Misty giving him their gym badges and him acting like he was all big and a hotshot. I noticed he hasn't really caught any poison or steel type Pokemon in his...what twenty years of Pokemon being a show?

he's had a Muk and a couple of other poisons, but I don't know about steel

Forgot about Muk, hardly uses the poor Pokemon at all.

Yup. I did think it was neat how they arranged that league different from the other regions. I mean, if he wants to be a great Pokemon Master, one would figure he'd learn something by now and keeping him at 10 years old for 20 years...I get that they may want to keep it targeted towards little kids but it seems he makes the same stupid mistakes season after season, like scanning Pokemon we've already heard of for the new generations of Pokemon fans...I'm like seriously? You scanned that Pokemon last season or last couple episodes!

tell you what ive remembered - didn't one of the league champions in one of the seasons have legendaries as their pokemon? I might have misremembered, but I don't think I did

I think there was a one with Articuno, too. hey, does anyone know of any pokemon gijinka RPs? I used to love them but I guess they all vanished and none have popped up since

currently I'm just sorta waiting on everyone to go into the casino. also, just for everyone's info, I know it sounds like I'm taking charge here - its only for now since Loki and I decided my character would effectively be the doorman who leads everyone into the secret base.
