Psychie
Princess Psychie
1. Use your discretion for your starting gear. So long as it is not a bow rune weapon it should be ok.Psychie
I finally found a picture that fits her! It's the very first image on her character sheet. Hooray!
1. Bows. I looked through Spirit West for Weapon Fetish (bows) but I feel Dreamy doesn't qualify. I understand there are "Steel Tree" Weapons in Rifts World Book: Dinosaur Swamp? I don't have that book. But you recommended we start in Florida, so perhaps you do? If so, might any of the Steel Tree bows or crossbows do more than 4d6 damage? Added: Either the bows are equal damage-wise than starter pistols in the core book or they're incredibly awesome and just too much for a 3rd level character. I can keep looking though.
2. Skill. W.P. Sharpshooter from Mad Dog's Skills Compendium v6.5? Thanks to your swapping out Dreamy's literacy skills for language, I can get this (or Sniper if you don't want it). What I like about it: I really like the idea of using Ricochet shot with a bow to nail baddies trying to use cover! Plus, it provides a handy Initiative bonus via Quick Draw. Added: Called shots are easier - including attempts to stake vampires at range. Definitely a plus!
3. Re: Lightblades.I can't find them!Found one type of them in the Madhaven book (p. 84 in the TW Light Shapers Knight of the White Rose equipment). Maybe for Eon's character? =) Added: That one does 4d6 M.D.. See #5 Melee weapons below?
4. Looking through Rifts Black Market for bows, I stumbled across their Unicorn Robot Steed (p. 175, complete with stunning artwork by my favorite Rifts artist, Chuck Walton)! If you don't have the Black Market book, I can write out all the details from my physical copy? I'm not looking for any options on the robot; just the steed alone is plenty for me! Added: I can't think of any other robot horses out there, but if this one is too tough, I understand. I was thinking perhaps we could have a large magnetic plate on Sherwood's character's huge ATV and "mount" him on the side?
5. Melee weapons. Would Flare be all right? That 4d6 M.D. fire-sword I made for Chan-Chan? Also, could there be a knife in her life like the Mokoloi "Warrior's Blade" from Book of Magic, p. 317? It need not be the real Australian weapon - just something that acts like it? A silver returning dagger that does 2D6+3 M.D.?
6. Still on the lookout for two ranged weapons and a suit of decent environmental armor (saw some Stealth armor in a Northern Gun book, but it only grants 12 M.D.C.. Ack!). Something with a Techno-Wizard addition is recommended by the Undead Hunter O.C.C., but I can't think of any reasonable option off of the top of my head. =) Added: I'd like a physical damage rifle preferably with a suppressor and a powerful sniper rifle (also suppressed) if I can find one.
That's all for now!
2. Ricochet shots with a bow seems a little out there to me, but the bonus to the Called Shot is ok.
3. 4d6 MD is not a deal breaker for a sword. It's ok to take.
4. The robot horse is no problem. When you want to ride in the ATV you can tell the robot to simply follow along and it will.
5. Flare is ok, but no silver knife that returns when you throw it.
6. I'll let you pick two TW upgrades for a suit of armor from the spell list up to level five.
