You can always try to negotiate the cost a bit up, but that pressure will fall on Gradicus' shoulders, since he is the one there with Brazamal.

As far as the Teleport Crystal, I am thinking that a limited teleport spell might be allowed. I am willing to go with a variant of the Teleport: Lesser spell, giving you a max of 20 mile range, with a max use of once per melee round, to a maximum of four times per 24 hours. If Shaona implants this spell, she will have to get the Teleport: Lesser in her library first. That is a level 6 spell, so it will cost 1,500,000.
2. @Sherwood I'd like for Gradicus to roll his Survival (62%) but I'd like to add a Bonus Point, please (I really don't want to mess up that trophy!). If there is anything else I can do to improve Grad's chances, let me know?
I'll roll it now. <rolls dice> I got a total of 37%, well under what you needed to preserve the head. It just looks that much better with the bonus point spent.

Awesome. Even with a short range, having a once per melee round teleport would be a major bonus to us. I like it. Now, I just need to find a way to be able to take Junior and Baby along with me! I don't suppose that Shaona can add that spell to them, too?

According to the spell, you can touch an object and send it with the teleport. So, you can use your talisman to send the two automations to a location, then jump there yourself.

If there is sufficient begging and groveling, I may allow you to enhance the automations with a version of the spell, too.

Oh, mighty Storyteller! Yours is such a kind and giving soul, filled to the top with awesomeness and incredible amounts of creativity! Truly you are a gift from above to all the gaming world, a blessing the likes of which the world has never seen before or will ever again! I beseech you, great and wonderful Storyteller, to grant me my humble request!

Needless to say, the Lesser Teleport spell will find its way into my library.

Completely unrelated: Wouldn't it be cool to enchant Junior and Baby as well while Shaona has the time? Don't think I have the right spell just yet, but I might be able to pick one up during the shopping trip...

Gotta try at least, right? In all fairness, do whatever you think is best for the game.

I have seen a problem with Teleport: Lesser. It cannot teleport people, just items. Teleport: Greater can move both people and items, but it is a level 15 spell and will cost 3,000,000 to get the spell.

With that in mind, if you guys were to get that spell and infuse it into one of the talismans, I will let you be able to include the Automations in this.

Yikes. That's expensive. I would be willing to toss in a bit to help cover that spell. The benefit is just too good to pass up.

Level 15 is as high as it gets (in terms of levels). Given that we're not even level 6, I'd say even being offered the purchase is one hell of a good thing from Brazamal.

Silanon Silanon Is Shaona interested in crafting those dragon boots and dragon fangs Gradicus has? Could she spice them up somehow?
Also, what do you think about selling the Serpent Power Armor to Brazamal for 50 million (lowest price in the range of 50-100 million)? Or perhaps we could ask him to add the spell to the 50 million and call it a day?

If not, Gradicus would toss in 1 million to help purchase the Greater Teleport spell, especially given that it's going to help the entire party.

He would be willing to add that spell as a part of the funds for buying the Serpent Powered Armor.

It will take us a while to make these crystals, since the PPE cost of the spell is 600 points. But we can all pitch in our PPE to make this work!

50 million credits and a 15th level spell imbued on the talismans? Plus the ability to take Terra's "babies"? Folks? If that's the case, I say we make it a deal! What do you say?

Don't forget, once you know the spell, you can also teach it to others, for a small fee, of course!

Ok, with that pretty much decided, do you want to have Gradicus post his trips back and forth, or should we jump ahead?

I'll leave that for the spellcasters to work out. Is Brazamal willing to trade for that? Because unless Silanon Silanon says to the otherwise, I think that's a good deal.

Sherwood? I almost have Grad's shopping list ready here. Concerning the elemental crystals that add to Gradicus's beloved daisho, are there roleplaying opportunities there or is it just straight damage only? Example: Gradicus buys an Acid crystal. Instead of just hacking at a big lock, could he use the acid element to drip acid onto the lock and quietly eat through it? With lightning, could he provide huge flashes of light to get attention (not blind or provide any combat bonuses)? Could he jump start a truck with his wakizashi? Stuff like that?

I'm O.K. with jumping ahead (because that will give the other players opportunity to RP, especially Vaneheart. I didn't mean to hijack the scene with all this, but I am glad and appreciative for the results we're getting!). =)

I will let you get creative with the use of the Elemental Crystals like that. Some things will be off limits, of course.

Of course! This is your game after all. Besides, you know I'm not the kind of guy to gank the rules and ruin the fun for the sake of "winning." To heck with that! =)

Thanks for the opportunity to get creative! =)
