  As with the Tiger Claw Form, Pao Pat Mei is based on the fighting
  prowess of one of the great hunting cats. And the difference between
  the two styles is like the difference between tigers and leopards. Where
  tigers rely on pure strength and power, the leopard must use quickness
  and accuracy. The tiger can afford direct contests of power, where the
  leopard must be more cautious and plan more carefully.
  A master of Leopard Style Kung Fu will take the time to appraise
  an opponent before striking. However, there's not a lot of subtlety in
  this form. Every technique is dedicated to fast and deadly attacks.
  
  Stance: Narrow stance with feet close together, one in front of another.
  Fists are held tight to the center of the chest, one on top of the other,

Successful Strike followed by a Save vs. Pain at 14+ to avoid reduction in Speed. Further Hobbles extend its duration. Fun bonus! Sword vs. arrow.
  * Way of the Cane/Mace/Hammer - +3 to Strike, +4 to Parry, +1 to Damage and Disarm, +2 to Strike when thrown. Special! Head-ringer - Usable once per Round/2 HEMA levels, Strike with the end of your weapon for d6+1 damage. Each successful Head-ringer may stun the Defender for 1 Action. Roll a Saving Throw vs. Pain at 14+ to avoid being stunned.
  * Way of the Flail - +3 to Strike, +1 to Parry, +1 to Disarm and Roll. Special! Indirect Strike - A flail can be used to go over shields and guards, around corners, and strike at odd angles which can be both intimidating and difficult to defend against. As long as the HEMA practitioner has Initiative, the Defender takes a -2 to Parry.
  * Way of the (big) Knife - +2 to Strike, +3 to Parry, +1 to Disarm. Special! Disarm/Take-away - The HEMA practitioner slashes at the Defender's wrist as part of a Disarm attempt. If successful, roll Save vs. Pain at 14+. Failure indicates the HEMA Attacker has taken the Defender's weapon. The Attacker must have one hand free.
  * Way of the Single Sword/Rapier - +4 to Strike and Parry, +1 to Initiative. +2 to Strike when thrown. In addition, when using Cloaks/Capes in off-hand, add +1 to Parry and Roll. Special! Lunge - A rapid forward thrust involving the entire body, excellent for sudden piercing attacks. The HEMA practitioner's Initiative total must be higher than their opponent's. As long as they have the higher Initiative total, add +1 to Strike and Damage with slashing/piercing attacks. In addition, when using Cloaks/Capes in off-hand, add +1 to Parry and Roll. Special! Cloak Toss - the HEMA practitioner throws cape at the face of their opponent. Successful Strike Blinds the opponent for 1d4+1 Actions. One-handed Stun - Usable once per Round/2 HEMA levels, if they have the higher Initiative total, the HEMA practitioner can send the staff forward in a powerful spinning motion, striking with the end. If the Strike is successful, it does d6+1 damage and may Stun the Defender for their next Action. Roll a Saving Throw vs. Pain at 14+ to avoid being stunned. Not usable when in close (punching or elbow/knee range).

  Now this isn't really anything specific, but this one happened to show up in my playlist and made me think of the character, so it can't be too bad to share it here, right?
  
  
  
  Dead. Dead. Dead. Thrice, his hand feels a cold, lifeless temple, all strength gone from the cat-killers at his side. Underneath the three brave men - good at what they did, right until now - there're more corpses, long deceased yet recently alive, in lack for a better word. Piled up now, covered with branches and wood. Dry enough to burn, but only barely, sending clouds of dark smoke into the sky. It can't be helped. No way he has enough time to dig a hole deep enough that they wouldn't smell it. The worst, feeding them as well. That's what he does, probably. So Eron's not gonna have it that way. Would be improper, too. Always good when the good and the right thing align. Keeps the darkness, the chaos, at bay. The fuel stinks, but keeps the flames going. The stench drives off the wildlife, too. Time he better puts to use. They smell blood from miles away, after all. He can't have that now, can he? His cat-killers are dead.
  
  He looks like shit. The mantle - ragged, torn apart by teeth and claws, by blades and guns. No cats this time; but the bleached grey fabric says that this is just the latest battle of many it's seen. The armor underneath is battered, marked by the same signs of ferocious battle. The dark-brown hair - a wild mess where it still sprouts, after the surgery. Around the studs, that means. Gleaming fiery in the pyre's light. Announcing that he does not care, that he has no interest in accepting the fate of being common. These studs - they change you, but also the world along your path.
  
  His skin, tanned by the sun, is covered by hundreds of thin, snake-like lines, tattooed, coiling around neck and arms, across the face. Covered in blood, too, his own and of others. He wipes it off the best he can. Then stands still for a while, as if someone had unplugged him from his power source. Not the case. There's no tension but in the right hand of his, tightly grabbing a pouch dangling from a cord around his neck. Made of leather, old, stained by blood, and sweat, and rain. Others would throw it away, no second thoughts. That'd be a mistake, he knows that. Only he knows. There's a whisper in there, the only melody worth hearing. A breeze, like nowhere else on this world. Found it by chance. Lucky him. It heals the wounds. Bruises simply close; deeper cuts leave thin scars behind; he'll have to see the tattooist soon, again. Hide the fact that they drew blood already. When he returns. He is far from done. This fight, though costly, was pointless. No cats. Not him. Of course, he noticed the ambush. Tried to lead them around, but the underbrush was against them. Three brave men dead. He'll be alone, for a while. Not good. Really not good. They're sneaky, hideous. He'll have to watch his own back. Or find one of the tribes out here, maybe. They survive. They gotta have their own cat-killers, then. He'll find out soon enough, will have to.
  
  One last look back at the pyre; the fire won't spread too far. That's good. Then he gathers his things, as few as there are, mostly the assortment of guns, knives and his sword. You have to be well-armed against them. Against him. There's a movement. Somewhere. He can't smell, he can't see it. But he hears. He has good ears. His grip tightens around the pouch. Now, he hears even better. There are two out there, circling each other. Bickering who of them should go first, likely. Time to leave. Hooves waits calmly, silently, as always. He mounts the horse in a single leap, drives the mechanical creature forward before he even comfortably sits. Has the balance to do so. Has the urgency, too. Of course, his trusty companions outruns whatever creatures gathered there. That's what it's made for, after all. He bobs up and down in the saddle as he rides, sometimes grabbing the pouch to adjust the path shortly after. Closer to him, because he's the core of the problem. The cats just now, bickering - proof. The fight wasn't pointless, after all. It's his way. Get rid of his companions, then strike when the right opportunity presents itself. He can feel the evilness ahead. Perhaps, he found friends again. No matter; he'll strike first, this time. He must be destroyed.
  
  Destroyed. It's all about the lights. Knights know, and taught him. So Eron knows. Some others do, too. There's a trail one leaves behind, where people remember the right things. And like burning candles, they spread the light, but darkness sniffs them out one by one by one. Darkness means him. Him, and his servants. It's the cats, you know? Didn't? Now you do. He adapted their style, so now they're coming for him. Sniffing out the lights, too. So he's gotta go fast, get a bonfire going that'll never, ever burn down. The world's gotta burn, or it'll burn at some point.
  
  Doesn't take much to understand that, does it? Just the studs, and the pouch, and a bit of wits. Of course, it's more complicated than that. There's nine hidden truths, and even he knows only four. He'll figure it out, once he is done for. That's the plan, at least. He's slippery. Might take all the truths to stop him, after all. Not might, will. He knows. With any luck, the world will never have to understand.

  A symbiotic creature that resembles a tiny, headless armadillo with
  a long tail. It typically wraps the tail around the neck of its symbiotic
  partner and attaches itself to the body at the base of the neck. At a
  quick glance observers are likely to think the creature is nothing more
  than a large growth/lump on the neck. It is also fairly easy to conceal
  with high collar shirts, scarves and long hair. The creature communicates
  only by means of empathic transmission. It will not establish a symbiotic
  union with another creature unless that creature agrees (agreement is
  interpreted by positive and friendly emotions) and shares a compatible
  alignment. Once a symbiotic relationship is established, the Absurr life
  node will never leave its "life partner;" if one dies the other dies.
  Host type: Humanoids and intelligent beings of all kind, except creatures
  of magic and the supernatural.
  Host Environment: The base of the neck — feeds on emotions and
  the energy created by them.
  Hit Points: A mega-damage creature with lD6x 100 M.D.C.; once
  linked, its symbiotic partner becomes a mega-damage creature with
  4D6x 10 + 20 M.D.C. points.
  Average Life Span: Equal to its partner (triples the average life span
  of its mortal partner).
  Alignment: Any, but most are of a good alignment, particularly principled.
  Cannot attack other life forms.
  Powers: The host body becomes a mega-damage creature (see hit points)
  and the creature's normal life span is tripled. The life node can also
  transfer its own life force (M.D.C.) into its partner whenever necessary,
  in any amount, as long as it retains three M.D.C. for itself; remember,
  the two are now one.
  Furthermore, the Absurr node will empathically warn its partner of
  danger with a sudden empathic flash of fear, hate, or suspicion.
  Likewise, it will generate a feeling of happiness, love or trust if it likes
  somebody or is happy with a situation. This can help the character
  judge events and encounters with other life forms by the feelings that
  the Absurr shares with him. Also, the creature is usually awake when
  its host body sleeps and will awaken him if it senses/sees potential
  danger.
  Other powers include a sudden burst of energy when tired (lasts 2D4
  minutes), both are impervious to mind control and empathic transmission,
  + 2 to save vs psionic attacks, +5 to save vs horror factor, and
  + 20% to save vs coma/death.
  Notes about the creature: It has a mind of its own and is very intelligent.
  However, it functions on a level of existence alien to most humans. It
  has no desire for the acquisition of possessions, wealth, or power,
  although it does share the emotions and desires of its partner and works
  to help the character get what he or she desires. It is an empathic
  vampire that feeds and thrives on emotions. Most particularly enjoys
  emotions of love, fulfillment, happiness, and good will generated by
  the symbiotic partner. Combat: The Absurr can not physically interact;
  it can only send empathic feelings and transfer M.D.C. to its symbiotic
  partner.
  Bonuses: See powers.
  Side Effects: The Absurr life node becomes a permanent fixture. If it
  dies the host body dies and vice versa.
  Size: About the size of a grapefruit, with a two foot long tail/tentacle
  that wraps around the neck. With the passage of a year's time, the
  creature becomes permanently and physically attached to its partner.
  Means of Elimination: None! To kill the life node is to kill the host
  body.
  Note: The creature will allow other parasites or symbiotic organisms
  to share its partner's body as long as the organisms do not harm the body.
  Market Cost: 100 million credits.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and I don't like being the only one to get presents so I am going to give everyone some tasty xp to boost you all to level nine. Everyone is now up at 90,000 points, and can have your new skill, spells and tattoos ready to go before setting out on your trip to Olympus.

Also Silanon, don't forget to include the stats for your symbiote on your sheet. Just a reminder, it gives you another 160 MDC for Eron directly, and it has 400 MDC itself that can be transferred over to you if you are injured.
